Hi, my origin is also from the India and which I feel over this restaurant the atmosphere and the taste of the food is as similar as Indian restaurant. Try this restaurant. It’s a personal suggestion for all.
Amazing Indian food , best I've had since I moved to california two years ago , ingredients extremely fresh and flavorful
Here in LA from the UK for a short break during a trip and wanted the standard weekly Indian. After googling as we all do, I stumbled across this place. So welcoming, friendly and the food… UTTERLY AMAZING! It’s honestly made my highly regarded local Indian back home feel like a 5 out of 10. You honestly won’t be disappointed, if you’re looking for somewhere to eat - you’ll be missing out if you don’t eat here!
Absolutely love this place! The food is amazing and fresh and the service is fast. I come here at least once a week. I always get the alo gobi, garlic naan, and chicken tikka masala :)
Ordered the tandoori chicken & saag paneer for a party we were hosting and everyone loved the food!
August 8th 2025 5pm-ish Ordered My Usual Starting Off With The Best Veggie Samosas I've Come Across in California. You Can Taste The Freshness of The Veggies Inside. Nice Crisp Served Hot 🔥 Freshly Made!! The Goat Tikka Masala is Literally "THE GOAT" Of All Masala's IDK The Owner Personally But You Can Tell He Is Determined to Put All His Love and Passion into Every Dish! Veggie Samosas Garlic Naan Goat Tikka Masala Rice $43 Worth Every Dollar! Definitely Recommend Stopping By You Will Not Be Disappointed and Surely You'll Become a Regular, Like Myself 🫡
I ordered takeout chicken korma with paneer kulcha and a vegan mango lassi and it was all really yummy! The kulcha dough was great and the korma was very flavorful. It was also a large enough portion that I’ll have leftovers tomorrow. Everything was ready quickly and the vibe inside the restaurant was really cute and I would definitely come back to eat dine-in. Really looking forward to trying their samosas ^__^
Well worth the wait! We ordered the tandoori chicken salad, tandoori shrimp, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. The wait for the food was longer than we expected, but that's because they cook everything to order. Once the food came out it was excellent! One of the best Indian restaurants on the Westside.
Excellent chicken curry and tandoori chicken! I am very particular about how my curry should taste and I would say this is the best chicken curry I have eaten in LA so far! Highly recommend this place for the food and its service ✨✨✨✨✨
Absolutely the best Indian food in Los Angeles. Prepared fresh and you can tell. Tandoori chicken and chicken Korma are must haves.
Very good food. Every item was on point, including the garlic naan, tandoori, and tikka masala. Recommend heavily for anyone wanting solid Indian food.
Tandoori Eats is the first Indian restaurant I've ever been to, and I had a great experience. It's embarrassing to say, but the only experience I had with Indian "cuisine" previously was the frozen butter chicken from Trader Joe's, so I was pretty keen on trying the real deal. To put it simply, Tandoori Eats blew me away. The restaurant itself is in a very unassuming location, adjacent to a mini mart. Upon walking in, I was welcomed by melancholic piano music and the pleasant aroma of Indian spices. The space had a very cozy mom-and-pop vibe, definitely authentic and appears to be family-owned. We ordered plain naan, garlic naan, basmati rice, and butter chicken – everything was the perfect amount to share between two people. They offer three spice levels for the butter chicken, and we went with Mild, but I think I would go with Medium next time. The butter chicken sauce was – as the name denotes – so buttery, rich, and had a hint of sweetness. Although it certainly wasn't lacking in flavor, I think an extra kick (Medium spice) would take it to another level. The chicken was also super soft and tender. My only gripe was the garlic naan, which I found underwhelming because you barely taste the garlic, making the additional $1 from the plain naan difficult to justify. Overall though, the prices are great for the portion sizes – $30 for everything! Service was also great, I'll definitely be coming back here.
BOMB DOT COM! We had the goat curry (yum) garlic naan (yum), and samosa chaat (double yum). Really great food for a great price :)
Cant believe I havent tried this place earlier! It is fantastic. Went here for dinner with friends. The chicken tikka masala, samosa chaat (not pictured) and the chicken biryani were amazing. Also got the saag which was good but personally not for me. The waiter/host was very kind and overall a great experience. Will be back!
Incredible food and service for many years now, you can’t go wrong with this spot! It will solve all your problems.
I love reading reviews, but I'm lazy and never write them - this place was so good I felt compelled to share my experience so more folks can try it out. This is my first time ordering from here and I'm so glad I took a chance! I called my order in and the guy who answered was so nice and very helpful when I asked him what he recommended between the two dishes I was debating. I went with his suggestion and I got the lamb curry. I also ordered a side of rice, garlic naan, and vegetable samosas. They said it would be about 30-35minutes which is expected, and let me tell you well worth the short wait! When I arrived to pick up the food I was greeted warmly and the guy at the register was very upbeat and it was nice to have that excellent customer service. The garlic naan was absolutely a 10/10 - it wasn't too much garlic, and it was toasted perfectly. Vegetable samosas had the perfect amount of outside crunch, and the filling was seasoned so well where it wasn't overwhelming like other places do. The accompanying mint cilantro chutney had a little kick which was nice to pair with the tamarind chutney (which was my favorite). Note: I only ate one samosa and next day popped the other one in the toaster oven to get the crunch back and it was just like the first night! The lamb curry was AMAZING. I kept asking my husband to try it but he was full so 1-his loss and 2-more for me! I asked for zero spicy/hot level because I'm a weenie (lol) and they actually delivered! Most places say they won't make it spicy but then I struggle through it and don't enjoy it as much. So I was very happy they listened and I got to enjoy the hell out of the curry. It was so beautifully seasoned, I could not stop saying out loud just how good it was. The curry seasonings were great, texture, and the lamb was so soft and cooked so well I was just in awe. Another great positive I really liked was that from one order, I ate THREE TIMES. The portions were very generous and it wasn't like I was skimping out. I'm 6mo pregnant and always starving, so I definitely filled my plate and got full each time. I lived in San Diego for 14 years and had my go-to spot (Taste of Himalayas) that was down the street from where I lived, and I had been craving an authentic place like that but of course wasn't going to drive 2hrs to get it lol. This place was recommended to me by husband's best friend and I'm so glad we finally got to try it out! Like I said, I never write reviews but this was SO GOOD I just had to share. My only thing that would make this better that has nothing to do with the food is if it they had outdoor seating to actually get to eat there (they do have indoor dining, but I'm just personally not doing that because of pregnancy and trying to avoid covid) but not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I will definitely be ordering from here again and excited to try so many more of their dishes!
Best Indian Food I've had in Los Angeles at any price point, not one question about it. We thought we'd "give it a try" after our other dinner plans fell through and it's the greatest find we've made in years. A truly unforgettable experience, the food feels like a more authentic take on the americanized Indian cuisine you'll find at most other spots. The amount of flavor packed into each bite is impressive to say the least. The service is top notch, I assume it's a family business as it's rare to see this level of passion and care elsewhere. Simply, run don't walk, or open that app stat, you will not be disappointed!
Food was great (recommend rice pulao & chicken korma), and was tasty for pickup right away. I’m very picky and they got my order perfectly done :). Fed family of 5 happily even with food restrictions🤙
It is our very first time trying Indian food.We both loved it.The food quality was great with a reasonable price. The service was great. We enjoyed our time.
Just amazing I’ve been to a lot of different Indian food places in Los Angeles and to be honest I wasn’t that thrilled … but my daughter and I came here. The location is next to a market. The place is very clean. The customer service is excellent. It’s playing Indian music in the background. It has parking out front and to be honest the food was fabulous … unbelievable butter chicken I got it with low spices and it was amazing and garlic naan that’s soft and flavorful is really hard to find, and I loved their food.:)
Updated- Amazing Indian food. I have tried a lot of Indian cuisines, this one is definitely above average. The food is served hot, fresh and it is delicious and full of flavor. Portions are great as well, but it would have been great if the Masala price included the rice. I love the dining area but they need a customer bathroom to complete it. I definitely recommend this place !
Wonderful Indian food. When the food first comes out, it may seem like smaller portions but don't be fooled. Packed full of flavor, you'll be satisfied. The butter chicken, lamb biryani, garlic naan, and eggplant were all great. The rice side order was also well spiced. Service was especially cordial. The atmosphere was casual.
In the middle of nowhere and in a strange corner south of the ten is an excellent little Indian restaurant. I'd been looking for a midpoint restaurant and stumbled on this one, with its remarkable reviews. So I went for it. It wasn't easy to figure out, sharing a narrow parking lot with a liquor store, and some parking on the side alley with some sketchy people sorting through the dumpsters. But the parking is safe and the half-hour limit on a parking apparently isn't enforced. Anyway all the food we got was very very good -- the chicken karahi was outstanding, in fact. I am going to go back to continue to enjoy the dishes made here
The food is just delish. Always a fan of Indian curry♥️ Service is alright. Nothing fancy, But love that one of the chefs came out and asked us if everything’s good.
The butter chicken with garlic naan was a combo built for the ages. Crispy and buttery all at once. Smaller portions than I’ve seen at other Indian places but the food was too good to complain.
Really great quality food and great service! We got the palak paneer and the chicken Tikka masala with rice and roti. It was really filling, delicious, and at a good price, so we'll come back!
Best Indian food I’ve ever had! The don’t judge a book by its cover is definitely true with this place. The outside of the store looks old and the area isn’t fancy or pretty, but you walk in the doors and they did a great job with the ambiance. Makhani medium spice with rice: The rice was good by itself and really well done. The makhani sauce was perfect! It has just enough spice to remind you that you’re eating Indian food, but so much flavor it blew your mind. The chicken was freshly cooked and cooked perfectly not overdone at all. Garlic Gnaan: it was prepared from scratch right in front of us. Another great win! Indian salsa and chips: the spices were hot but so good! Lastly the service was great the family was so nice and accommodating. This restaurant has only been around for 7 months and they are going to kill it! They are so nice and understanding letting us know the food would take a bit longer (which it did) because they make everything fresh. Better come here before someone famous finds it and blows it up in the LA Times.
Honest-to-goodness authentic Indian food just across the Palms Metro station. Everything we ordered was exceptional, from the stuffed vegetable samosa and garlic naan to the tender lamb curry and fluffy basmati rice. It was my first time to try rasmalai as recommended by the restaurant, and it did not disappoint. They also took the time to distinguish between spicy and hot. A spicy dish doesn't mean it's hot, it's just more loaded with spices which is what they recommend. Deserves all 5 stars.
I come here every time I’m in LA. I don’t need a menu, and a lot of times I don’t even need to put my order in. These guys are awesome. They only see me once a month but have my entire order memorized when I walked in. Chicken Tikka Masala, Buttered chicken, 2 mango drinks, Spicy chicken Biriyani rice, and 2 orders of garlic naan. We don’t even wait 10 minutes before all our food is already out in front of us. One of the best Indian spots I’ve ever been to in the US!
Love the customer service very fast and beautiful cook ware. People are very pleasant. Of course the food is authentic. From san Francisco and it’s very expensive there. This is very reasonable price

Let me start by saying that I usually do not eat Indian food because it's too spicy for me. I tried Tandoori Eats for the first time today and my only regret is that I hadn't tried it sooner. The service is excellent - the people are so nice here. The restaurant has nice seating and is well kept. The food...some of the best Indian food I've ever had! The chicken tikki masala is a must with a side of garlic naan. The butter chicken is also amazingly delicious. The best part - you pick your spice level! I also tried the mango lassi drink ...yummmmm!
Absolutely incredible Paneer Kulcha! The family running this place is attentive and clearly cares about their restaurant. I had the Lamb Seekh Kabab and my partner had the chicken tikka masala. Both blew us away! 100% recommend this place.
The food at this place is absolutely amazing and a true delicacy. I had the chicken with red tomato sauce along with the NAM garlic bread. I was impressed with not only the cleanliness of the place but with the amazing food and great service. This place does not disappoint! Enjoy friends!!
Wow 10/10 Just amazing spices and cooked to perfection. We got three orders of the Manchurian because of delicious it was although I would have loved it to be very spicy..But it was still very good. The cooks were so attentive to how I liked certain dishes but stayed true to tradition. I will definitely be coming back again! Everyone was very genuine, sweet and the restaurant smelled amazing and it was very clean. Thank you for a great and wonderful experience. Sending blessings and abundance to the owners!
Hands down the best Indian food I've had in LA. Price was solid and food quality and amount were excellent. Left fully satisfied with enough leftovers for another meal. Went with my partner and spent roughly $35/person. We both got entrees and orders of speciality naan, plus samosas and rice to share, and I had a masala chai. Definitely recommend the tikka masala, medium heat was just the right amount and the masala chai was so warm and delicious, the perfect comfort food on a chilly evening. ALSO!!! Great vegetarian and vegan options!

Yummy local Indian spot offering a variety of dishes. The tikka masala was the standout dish; nice and creamy with a full flavor. I didn’t leave any sauce leftover as I was putting it on everything. The chicken curry had meatier chicken chunks and a deeper flavor; I ordered medium spice and it had a good, noticeable spice but was not overwhelming at all. The naan came hot and complimented everything well. We got very full with the food we ordered but I’d definitely recommend one main dish per person. Service was friendly and quick. There’s a nearby lot you can park at.
The food is really masterfully made. The flavoring and marinade is perfect. They obviously have a real tandoor and cook the tandoor items on the spot so it takes a while to get them but they are absolutely amazing tasting. Aloo tiki chat was delicious but non spicy. The garlic nan and the paratha were just from bread heaven. The chicken tandoori was really well marinated and flavored, very tender as well and nicely crisped up in the tandoor but not spicy at all. The Achar chicken curry was super delicious and freshly made with fresh ingredients, you could taste the fresh ginger bits, and again very well flavored, but not spicy at all. The chicken tikka masala was well flavored and tender and creamy. It’s only white meat and not spicy at all. The spicy/heat level on all items is 0, without asking for less spicy food when ordering. Clearly it is catered to the American taste to be able to tolerate the spiciness and so it is completely non-spicy. My comment to this is that there should be an option to request it spicy or non-spicy. I’m not Indian but I enjoy Indian food precisely for the heat. The flavoring is bomb here just needs more heat. It’s a small restaurant but we’ll maintained. Service was fast. Not expensive and really good quality food.
Went on a Friday night and noticed it wasn’t too busy for the dine in area, however, a lot of people were picking up for takeout. Parking was a little confusing because many of the signs don’t have Tandoori Eats on them. Service was great, and the food was also great. I definitely enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala a lot more than the Chicken Curry; medium spice was also a good level and not too spicey. Also, garlic naan is a must.

The food was very good. I ordered chicken tandoori, biryani, and garlic naan, and everything was fresh and tasty. However, the restaurant does not have a restroom. My kids needed to use the bathroom, and unfortunately, we were told no. For that reason, I would not return, as I prefer restaurants that have restroom facilities, especially when dining with children.

By reading other reviews, my guess is the dine in and take out experiences are quite different here. Last night was the final time I’ll ever order from Tandoori. Woman who answers the phone isn’t helpful or nice - think it’s her and her husband’s business too? EVERY TIME I order palak paneer I specifically ask for paneer cubes, and they decide to give me tofu anyway. There was so much oil in our tikka masala and last night that no amount of mixing would combine it all. Garlic naan, basmati rice and samosas were good and it is very reasonably priced. But I’ll pay a little more to skip the oil and attitude and have my order made correctly.
The only positive I can mention is the friendly service - the staff were polite and welcoming. Unfortunately, that’s where the good experience ended. I came here after reading good reviews and ordered their top recommendation: the butter chicken. It was a major letdown. Not only did it lack authenticity, but the quality was well below average - bland, overly sweet, and lacking the depth of flavor you’d expect from such a classic dish. Chicken itself seemed like separately cooked chunks which felt disconnected and dry. I genuinely don't understand their higher ratings. Definitely not a place I’d return to or recommend for Indian food lovers.
The food was okayish, the gravy for the sabjis were the same just put paneer and kofta in it. Quantity was definitely not worth the price. The lady (who was the owner I guess) had a disgusting attitude and gave us looks when we tried to order and were talking about the food. Definitely wouldn't go. Only has a good review because of some foreigners but wouldn't recommend at all.
UNHYGIENIC place and NO RESTROOM This was hands down the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. The place itself was dirty and the food was completely overpriced for the quality. But the real nightmare started when I asked to use the restroom. They told me there was no restroom for customers, only an employee restroom. To get there, I had to walk straight through the kitchen. That alone felt like a huge safety hazard — customers shouldn’t be walking through a working kitchen. When I passed through, I was shocked at how filthy it was. The cooks weren’t following any hygiene practices. I saw them using a mop to clean and then handling food without even washing their hands. It honestly made me lose my appetite right then and there. And when I finally got to the restroom, it was disgusting too — dirty, smelly. What really topped it off was the owner. He was talking to one of his employees in such a disrespectful and demeaning way, right in front of everyone. It created such an uncomfortable environment and made it obvious that he didn’t care about his staff, the customers, or the restaurant itself. I left feeling grossed out, disappointed, and honestly concerned for anyone who eats here. This place is unsafe, unsanitary, and not worth a single or even half a dollar.
