The place is well-kept, and clean. We went in a bit early than the dinner rush hour, so there was no wait. After we ordered, the waiter cooked our meal for us at the table. It was bit pricey, but everything was top quality and very delicious. Definitely would visit again.
Prime Angus Perfection & Bold Korean Flavors — Daedo Sikdang Brings Seoul’s Finest Steak to LA 🔥 From the moment the sizzling ribeye hits your table, you know you’re in for something extraordinary. With a rich heritage from Seoul since 1964, this upscale Korean steakhouse has perfected the art of showcasing Certified Angus Beef® Prime cuts — delivering flavor, tenderness, and quality that’s second to none. We indulged in the Daedo Cut (8oz) — ribeye roll, ribeye cap, and ribeye strip — each one offering its own bold personality. The ribeye roll was luxuriously tender and buttery, the ribeye cap delivered an explosion of rich, beefy intensity, and the ribeye strip had that deep, satisfying flavor steak lovers live for. The sides elevated the experience — the kimchi fried rice was savory and addictive, while the cold noodles provided a refreshing contrast to the richness of the meat. Add to that a sleek bar stocked with luxury wines and a private karaoke room for an exclusive twist, and you have a dining experience that’s as refined as it is unforgettable. From the immaculate interiors to the unmatched quality of its Prime Angus cuts, Daedo Sikdang delivers the bold flavors and elevated atmosphere that keep you coming back.
Meat and in general, portion sizes were a bit small, but the quality, service and vibes were great. Loved the interior. Free ice cream dessert
Daedo is pure class. This is perhaps the classiest way to enjoy Korean BBQ. Just snooty enough so that you can expect more and impress your date, but not to come across awkward. It is just enough class that you know the experience is special all throughout but also you don't lose the essence of grilling meat fresh in front of you. And most importantly, Daedo absolutely paves its own way compared to high end yakiniku joints. Daedo is unapologetically Korean. And that's how we like it. It is Korean BBQ done in a way with proper form, effort, and dedication to excellence. Nothing is skimped throughout. The quality of meat is excellent. Every side banchan is great. It is laid out well and thoughtful. And every dish you order has been prepared well. Be ready to grill meat. You'll be doing this on a proper cast iron surface heated to the right temperature with beef fat and garlic as the oil. Whatever cut you get, it's great. Our meat was soft, buttery, and just right (sometimes wagyu can be too buttery). The kakdugi fried rice was a masterpiece. This one isn't easy to get right given that you have to fry the diced turnips just right. And it was well prepared in a wide skillet, with just enough crunch rice bits on the surface. The beef consomme was also great. No frills. No pretention. Just a good bowl of soup with many chunks of meat. And yes, do not forget the milk soft serve. I'd pay $10 just for that but they give it to you for free. Daedo really takes Korean BBQ to the next level and starts to touch the heels of fine dining. Prices are high but not exorbitant. No matter what you order, you'll leave happy. We will absolutely return.
Great spot for dinner- relaxing and fun experience ! The food and service were both solid. We made a reservation on OpenTable, which got us seated right on time, and the valet parking right outside was super convenient. The meat quality/selection was good, and we really enjoyed the fried rice — but the cold noodles were next level! Service was friendly and welcoming. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back.
This is the perfect restaurant for date and or group party’ it’s beautiful restaurant and they have this cool karaoke lounge attached that is incredible and perfect for after dinner celebration! Now to the food it was really good!! I was in love with the need tartare it was probably one of the best I have ever had! We also ordered: Daedo cut nice cut of meat and with the dips yes please! Kkakdooki rice I really loved it was like a tomato base rice with lil crispy pieces Yukjeon this was unique but flavorful gave me like a scallion pancake but sweeter in a way Bulgogi was delish and not over marinated Service was friendly and on top of it!
Valet parking was $5, which is reasonable I believe. The menu is not big but the quality of the meat, service, ambience, and decoration are all great! It’s more like a high end kbbq place. I like the beef stew a lot! And the ice cream at the end is a must try!
This restaurant excels in quality of dishes, drinks and atmosphere. I love that the menu is not overwhelming so it's easy to make a choice. The meat quality was great, we ended up ordering Daedo Cut and Classic Korean Cut and Kkakdooki Fried Rice, it was a lot of food but we managed to some how stuff ourselves and finish because it was so good. You can't go wrong with your choice, even though I am not a huge fan of thinly sliced beef, I really enjoyed the presentation, quality and taste of the meat along with their sauces. The service was absolutely top! Very much like what I am used to from KBBQ restaurants here in NYC. We had a subpar experience at another-more expensive-KBBQ restaurant in LA the day before and it was completely different experience as soon as we walked in to Daedo, it was soooo refreshing. I really commend the staff and managers for creating a team that looks out for one another and who work hard to please all the guests. They must have amazing communication skills amongst each other and it shows! The cocktails were delicious as well! Suited for my personal style I guess because the drinks felt light going down, gave a fresh sense and tasted great. I will definitely be back if I am in LA and hopefully I can try other dishes from their menu.
I’d never been to a KBBQ place where they cook for you. I was expecting to do everything but was glad I didn’t have to worry about screwing up the meats. Service was efficient and the place is bustling. I suck at portions so this is a nice Korean BBQ option that won’t put me into a meat coma.
Daedo Sikdang is a meat favors' restaurant, especially prime beef. I ordered that one prime steak for my partner and Kkakdooki fried rice and Yolmu cold noodle for me because I'm vegetarian. Foods was delicious, but I don't have that many choices. The meat refrigerator was well designed beyond the bar.

I visited this restaurant for the first time after hearing it's famous in Korea, and I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was stylish and clean, making it a great place to have meaningful conversations with someone important. The brass tableware was a nice touch too. The quality of the meat was excellent, and the staff kindly grilled and cut everything for us, which made the experience even more comfortable. The ice cream served at the end was the perfect finish truly amazing! I highly recommend this place for special occasions or meaningful gatherings. I also love that you can enjoy a drink at the bar while waiting for your friends. I'll definitely be coming back again.
Came here with my family for KBBQ and had a great experience overall. The restaurant is super clean and nicely designed. The host was so friendly, and the servers were really attentive. The Daedo set was delicious, but the Galbi set was a bit underwhelming. I do wish they offered more banchan like other KBBQ spots, but the quality of the meat and service definitely made up for it. We'd come back again for the Daedo set. This is the place to sit down relax and have a nice meal and not having to cook it yourself vs other popular KBBQ restaurants. Valet parking is $5.

Recommend: The rib cap, the classic korean cut, and the soup they gave my toddler. Dont recommend: the omelet and the beef consomme. Needs work: The fried rice portion was not enough, though it was tasty. Staff should clear table and plates before serving dessert. It is a clean, fresh milk yogurt and feels gross to eat at a messy grill full of dirty plates. Did not try tho curious: the G Dragon cocktail
Came for lunch craving kbbq. But disapppointingly, they only serve it for dinner. They didn't even have a sign on the front about it. Just found out when we sat down. We were already there so decided to stay. They have a limited lunch menu of soups, noodles, and 1 galbi for an exorbitant $53. Caved in got the galbi as we were craving meat and the spicy cold noodle. The meat was very tender and tasty. The spicy cold noodle was also good. I was disappointed at only 2 banchans even though they tasted good. The free ice cream was quite good. Came in at 1:30 p.m., and it was virtually empty. The lady servicing us was very nice. Definitely an upscale kbbq. There is a karaoke lounge connected to it. Might be back to try the kbbq at night.
Making a reservation online was quick and easy. Got seated right away upon arrival, and there is a valet parking right outside the restaurant which is always convenient. The quality of meat is definitely great but a star was deducted due to the limited menu options. The kkakdoogi fried rice was good but nothing special. Cold noodle was amazing though! Service was alright - we had to flag down the servers whenever we needed something. They came by to cook the meats and quickly went to other tables so the service felt a bit rushed overall.
Food quality was amazing. Loved the cold noodles. Actually sour and not too sweet. The soft serve at the end was soooo good. Only thing is I wish they had more side dishes. It was also awkward with the way the table was set up to get the dishes.
Korean steakhouse where you order a la carte and they cook the meat for you. Came here with three other friends to celebrate our friend obtaining her doctorate. Reservations accepted. We had two orders of the special which had the three cuts of meat, the cold noodles, and the kimchi fried rice. At the end of the meal, they gave us a small milk soft service with a rice cake adorning the top. Our waiter was nice and polite. We sat down to the banchan and sauces already set out. There were also whole green onions that were marinated in some sort of chili sauce. There were marinated radishes on the table as well. Metered street parking or you can try your luck in the residential neighborhood. Credit cards accepted. Restrooms are available in the back left hand side of the restaurant. It is good for big groups.

My family and I had reservations for my birthday dinner here as we enjoy dining at Daedo for special occasions. My family had a great birthday dinner here a few months ago for another family member so we expected the same quality of service but we were disappointed with our waiter, River, and his unwelcoming attitude, especially with elder Korean members of this community seated at our table. I don’t normally write negative reviews and I understand not everyone has a good day at work, but for a restaurant of this caliber of fine dining, this type of interaction was unacceptable and very disappointing. I’ve only taken down 2 stars because our second waiter (sorry I didn’t catch his name) made up for his coworker’s lack of tact with his own exemplary service. Food was great tho, it’s a shame that River’s poor attitude towards us took away from the exceptional service Daedo is known for.
Famous Korean steakhouse from Seoul. Very nicely designed interior space with full bar and wine. Menu is pretty tight and they specialize and only serve Angus prime dry aged ribeye. Overall, not the best KBBQ in LA, definitely not my favorite amongst the premium ones here. Interesting experience though, I’d say it’s a bucket list place worthy of trying once. Meat: Daedo cut has roll, cap, and strip from ribeye. Beef was pretty good, but not that amazing tbh. Despite being dry aged, it wasn’t that beefy. Cooked in cast iron and doneness was relatively on point. Bugolgi was kind of disappointing. Cooked separately in kitchen and brought over. Little overdone, didn’t seem that fresh or hot, marinade could’ve been seasoned a tad more. Thinly sliced ribeye was pretty good. Sides: fried rice was pretty solid, nice crunch from crispy rice and kimchi puffs added, cold noodles were pretty good too liked the beef omelette jeon too, was like a beef Japanese okonomiyaki Banchan: spicy scallion greens, spicy pickled radish, wedge of cabbage? Overall pretty small, weak selection, especially the wedge. Drinks: haeundae sunset was refreshing and tasty, makkegolli (Korean rice wine) and grapefruit syrup Yangchon Chungju soju was interesting, kind of funky, umami savory, and taste/smells almost like cooking sake, was also recommended because it was 30% off Also got some free cereal chips as a gift, crispy but very bland

Ordered a delivery. I highly doubted the food here was precooked. It does not make sense that the food sealed in the box. And its taste was awful.

I really like this restaurant and the food is always delicious. I told a friend of mine to meet me there for dinner last night as he loves KBBQ. He drove from West L.A. and got there at 9:20PM (restaurant closes at 11PM). While almost at the restaurant, my friend called me and said we need to order right away as the manager told him he wants to close early. When I arrived the manager repeated with attitude that we need to order immediately. The restaurant was almost empty so he just wanted to go home. The rushing hostile attitude went on the entire meal. He dropped off the bill before we had a chance to properly finish the meal and kept walking back and forth checking if the payment was made. Once he brought back the CC receipt, he said they need to close (pretty much kicking us out). This was at 10:30 which is 30 minutes before the advertised closing time. We rushed to get up to leave and when walked to the restroom before leaving the manager continued his unwelcoming behavior with a very unpleasant stare. That was the point that I had to let him know how horrible of an experience he created for us. Maybe there is a reason the restaurant is empty on a Thursday night? This place used to have a 1-2 hour wait when I first started visiting. The food is always amazing but there are plenty of places that have great food as well as great hospitality and attitude where you don't feel humiliated and disrespected. Completely unnecessary behavior which is a shame given that this was my favorite KBBQ in L.A.
