We had a great meal at Qusqo! The lomo saltado and pollo saltado were delicious, and the ceviche was my favorite — super fresh and full of flavor. Cozy spot, warm service. We’ll definitely be back!
Kids and I dropped in to try Peruvian food since our family is from Peru. We were very pleased, the food was riquísimo and Chef Lucy was very personable and friendly. We definitely recommend, the quality of the food and service is top notch!
This place rocks! I drove here from Brentwood at the recommendation of a friend! Very cool place with really great vibes. Great music. Lots of care in the menu and wine selection. They have a great understanding of dietary needs, so if you need something veg or vegan, just ask! They are really accommodating! Highly recommend: Chicha!! Cauliflower Bites Yucca fries And of course - saltado!! You can't go wrong here!
Great, authentic Peruvian food. Everything was fresh, crafted thoughtfully, with incredible attention to detail. The staff/ owner was kind and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
I had an absolutely incredible dining experience at Qusqo Bistro. The authenticity of the dishes truly transported me to the heart of Peru. The yucca fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully tender on the inside. They were a wonderful introduction to the flavors that awaited. The kicking shrimp dish was a knockout! The perfect blend of spices and the freshness of the shrimp created a symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds. It was an unforgettable dish that I'll be dreaming about for days. Let's talk about that green sauce! It was nothing short of magical. I couldn't get enough of it! It elevated every dish to a whole new level of deliciousness. And the drinks! Oh, the drinks. The chicha juice was a burst of fruity goodness that left me feeling revitalized. The Peruvian herbal tea was a soothing finale to the meal, leaving me feeling refreshed and light. The attention to detail and commitment to authentic Peruvian cuisine truly shines at this restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of the culinary treasures this gem has to offer. Bravo to the talented chefs and staff.
If you're in LA and haven't been to Qusqo Bistro, you need to go and stop missing out on one of the city's hidden gems. Every dish takes you via Llama straight to the heart of Peru, with the Arroz con Pollo standing out as my absolute favorite. The flavors almost have vibrant colors, making it easy to say that the food is soooooo good. Beyond the delectable meals, the ambiance captures the spirit of the Peruvian and chill culture beautifully. The vibe is effortlessly cool and warm, making it a perfect spot for both intimate dinners and group outings. And if all this wasn't enough, the service is friendly and exelent. Every visit, the staff ensures a memorable and warm experience. Highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Update: "THEY ARE NOW OPEN!!!" To be honest I must have driven by this place (located on the Corner of Santa Monica Blvd & Barry Ave) over a million times! It always looked closed. And it was......Well, Only during the Day! What I discovered was it was Only Open for Dinner! I finally got the opportunity to go by and I was pleasantly surprised. Although it isn't perfect Peuruvian Cuisine, it was Very Tasty and a Pleasant Experience. The Seafood Dishes I ordered were both cooked perfectly, not overly, not salty. And Yes...Very Fresh! What I truly appreciated was the opportunity to eat in peace. No long lines (try driving down Sawtelle Ave.) The server was right on point. She did not keep asking "Are you OK?" or "Did you need anything?", "Can I get you something else?" Well, you get the point! I eat out a lot and can only compare my experience to the overpriced & pretentious restaurants in the West LA area. Many of them are good, but have become very pushy. They want you "in & out" ASAP! My Qusqo Bistro experience was like eating dinner at someone's home. The Manager was pleasant and gracious. If you want to chill, eat great food and want a different experience, give Qusqo try. I always recommend ordering a couple of different dishes. You won't be disappointed!
Super authentic Peruvian restaurant! Sangria is a MUST TRY! The ambiance is amazing, food is great and drinks are delicious. The Lomo Saltado is definitely a must but honestly everything on the menu is delicious. This time I got the green rice with cauliflower for a vegan option and it did not disappoint!
I stopped by after a busy work day! For my first time I had the, fish ceviche for my appetizer and the lomo saltado for my main entree! The flavor was on point and I was very pleased with chef Lucy’s take on these dishes. The atmosphere was peaceful and artistic. I definitely enjoyed and wanted to let some friends know about this hidden gem! Five stars forsure!
Very cute decor. Food was good.
Delicious VEGAN OPTIONS. They have a separate vegan menu plus a full menu for meat eaters! The paella is delicious, the tallarin Saltado de vegetales...yum.....and don't leave without having plantains. Very cute place, adorable decorations. I think it's good for a date night, hanging out with friends, or even solo. Soo goodd!!
This is the first place I’ve ever tried Peruvian food and it did not disappoint. I came here with my mother a couple of months ago and I loved it! I ordered the steak tacos and they are DELICIOUS! Good portions. Perfect if you’re hungry but not super hungry. The restaurant itself pretty neat too. Always fun Latin music is playing, so it keeps an upbeat mood.
Delicious - everything we had! - and I went with a discerning friend! The best sangria I’ve ever had, amazing avawaca, scrumptious ceviche, delicious vegan “hot wings,” yummy yucca fries, a veggie noodle dish to die for, arroz con leche that was mouth-watering… ample servings for leftovers, charming indoor & outdoor seating… HUGE BONUS to support a local, Peruvian, female-owned business. I’ll be back :-) Next time for the *pitcher* of sangrias!
Wow the flavors, nice to get our fave lomo saltado but with great appetizers of veggies and seafood. The server was nice enough to have kitchen split our lomo saltado as we wanted to share plates, and no rice to avoid getting full fast. The stuffed avocado with shrimp was nice surprise. The papa ala huancaina and warm rice pudding reminding me of our family's meals in Lima, Peru. Def hope they stay and survive these times of pandemic.

Excellent, fresh Peruvian food! Great service as well. We had the ceviche, paella, and mixed bowl, all delicious. The plantains are an absolute must.

Had an amazing paella and a great glass of wine at Qusqo! The atmosphere is so colorful and fun, and Lucy, the owner, is the sweetest she made us feel so welcome. Can’t wait to come back!
The only reason i came to check out Qusqo was because it was on the inKind App. If you are also someone who likes to take advantage of the InKind Rewards, save your rewards. For one, they don’t accept your InKind payment method unless you spend a minimum of $75. I read the entire T&Cs of InKind and nowhere is there a minimum amount mentioned, so i believe this is at the misjudged discretion of the owner/operator of Qusqo. So my friend and I said, oh well let’s still give it a shot because we were in the mood for some good protein after a workout. We ordered the Lomo Saltado and one Plantain starter. Eat your starter very slowly, because you will have to wait for that Lomo Saltado for at least 30 minutes. When you do get your Lomo Saltado, maybe save the bits of stake towards the end because there’s not much of it. Also wanted more of that green Peruvian sauce that i’m used to at others places, as they only gave us enough to lightly drizzle over our 2 orders of Lomo Saltado. The steak or carne asada was very tasty very delicious, cooked very well, it’s just a shame that they are stingy with the amount. My recommendation is check out Pollo A La Brasa in South Gate/Downey area for a generous and incredibly delicious plate of Lomo Saltado for about less than you would pay here which was about 20 before the starter. They also don’t offer the Saltado for 2 option if you were planning on getting that great sounding deal from their website. Photo added was before I ate anything off the plate.

I dislike giving negative reviews but I have to warn future customers. If you want real peruvian food, please run away from this place. Very small portion of food for the price. Most of the food we ordered had no flavor at all. The arroz chuafa was way too greasy it was inedible. However the waitress was awesome.
