Can't speak to atmosphere since I never dine in but the food is delicious, I know the dough is freshemade in store and it makes a world of difference. The pepperoni rolls always hit the spot and are hot even delivered. We love the monthly flavors. Their buffalo wings are SO good, not shriveled like others.

Ordered delivery we had the daily deal. A specialty pizza 1/ 2 magherita and 1/2 buffalo chicken a medium pepperoni, and chocolate chip pizza all for a great price and it was very good. Delivery was fast we have ordered many times and always have great service.

All I know is I've been coming to Dave's for years and it's always great! Buffalo chicken pizza is the best kind by far!

We haven’t been to a Double Dave’s in years and this location was fantastic! We ordered a family meal with pizza, pepperoni rolls, and a dessert. All were very delicious! But the customer service was what really earns them the full 5 stars. Very personable and helpful. Thank you for the great meal and great service

We ordered delivery online. They have great deals! The pizzas were accurate.The pizza of the month is the Colt's Queso, and it was the best pizza I have had in ages. So good! The pepperoni rolls and chocolate chip cookie pizza were droolworthy. The delivery driver was friendly and fast! Our food was all hot and fresh. We will definitely be ordering again. You gotta try this spot if you want some tasty pizza. Pepperoni rolls and ranch pretty much got me through college. Gotta say I miss the old 4th and Slide location, but they're still pumping out some delicious food. P. S. try the stromboli dipped in thousand island dressing.

I’ve never written a review before but I made an account just for this place. Great food, amazing specials, awesome service, and very affordable.

Great pizza if you aren't feeling the big box stores. Much more of a local vibe and friendly staff! Big plus is you can buy the dough to make your own pizza! Very fun.

I'm not a huge pizza person, but my husband is. We both agree that this is the best pizza place we've ever been to. We got a pizza of the month special that was a chili cheese dog pizza, and also an alfredo pizza. I loved them both. So much flavor! I actually can't wait to try just a slice of regular old cheese pizza. We'll be coming back for sure.

Been eating Double Dave’s my whole life, just never tried Lubbock’s locations yet. I went to the 19th St. location, ordered a large pepperoni with deep dish crust ahead of time. 15-18 minutes I was quoted and it was ready when I got there! We ordered the 9.99 large one-topping Wednesday special. ($1 more for deep dish.) I got to the store for pick up, and the employee was so welcoming and kind to me and my little one upon picking up, as well as on the phone taking my order, too. the pizza was fresh, and the crust was thick just like I ordered! (Favorite part, but the cheese tasted good too!!) I know their other menu items must be great, I will definitely be back!!!

There's a ridiculous number of ways to customize a pizza, and they come in several sizes. The vibes in here are also immaculate, very diner-y and fun. Staff is super helpful and nice. The only issue I've had is that if you order ahead to pick up, you don't get any notification when it's ready or time estimate on how long it will take. You just have to go up and ask. Not a problem, just good information to have.

Overall, a good place to eat, but not perfect. On the plus side, the pizza sauce and toppings were tasty and hot, the people were friendly and helpful, and the place was well maintained, if somewhat basic. On the other hand, the crust was undercooked and chewy and they have the worst online ordering system I've ever seen. You literally cannot place an online order without filling out a dozen fields including full home address. For a visitor like me from out of town, it's more bother than it's worth. Luckily there was no problem just going there and ordering in person, but they'd probably do better if they just had an option to pay as a guest without filling out everything. It frankly pissed me off. Still, their food was overall fine and the pricing was reasonable. I'd recommend if you're in the neighborhood. Just don't use the online ordering.

Good pizza but nothing special, I had the Dave's fave and it was above average but a little bland and pretty mediocre crust. Salad was a good value.

Basic college pizza place. Good pizza. Lots of topping choices. Clean and bright.

Normally more stars given, but sizes are very small and seem over priced. Good taste though. Other places close by have much more value. Drinks should have better value as well.

My wife and I did dine-in, as this was our first time to eat there. The food was hot, which seems to be unusual anywhere in Lubbock nowadays. We ordered a 3 topping thin crust. It was ok at best. The price and atmosphere left more to be desired. It's definitely better then the Hut, but not as good as Dominos.

The food is great, but they got rid of their buffet which was the best thing about them. I’ll return once the buffet returns!

My deep dish pizza was not deep… looked like hand tossed and overcooked. The medium sized pizzas are more like a small and overcooked as well. The pep rolls are still good and the Stromboli’s are still the best but mine was once again, overcooked. When we opened the boxes we were highly disappointed and upset due to the overall price we paid for what was the best pizza in town. Maybe we got a bad batch, who knows. Overall the best way to describe our experience is disappointing.

Ordering from the website gave me issues, then just went to order in store and was charged by staff for more stuff then I wanted to order. Haven't had this place in years, now I doubt I'll come back.

Basically paid 54 bucks for 2 small pizzas and 4 drinks. Got the order wrong. I won't be back. Edit after her reply: you got the order wrong basically 3 times. It fed 1 adult and two children. The one Stromboli that was made after the first order wasn't even finish and raw inside I left that out of the review. Don't take it personally. I loved double daves, the pizza the buffet... This just isn't what I remember at the new location, even the pizza is different. Again don't take it personal, that's why I didn't want anything corrected either time you offer to fix it, mainly due to 3 people had already eaten and I didn't want to make them wait for the corrected order and for us to eat, we ended up just going elsewhere.
