Linda’s cafe has delicious fresh cooked Asian food and the ladies are so friendly. My husband and I like their sweet/sour special on Wednesdays.
Has been one of our weekly favorites for 20+ years we have always ordered the sweet and sour chicken and pancit special. Rosa and her sister have been great and knows us by name !
Super tasty! Pancit and menudo are my favourites. Never ordered takeaway so I don't know much about that part of their business, but eating in has always been a pleasant and quick experience.
First time there. I ordered the menudo and it was the shizz. Not like Mexican menudo though. Totally different. The staff was nice and helpful. They dont have fountain drinks so be prepared to pay for expensive cokes. Very good and affordable unless you like to drink a lot of cokes then itll add up.
I ordered lumpia and casava cake and pansit everything was delicious. The menu is awesome. Lots of items I didn't know. I will come back here and try something new. The ladies were nice that work here
I've been coming here since they were located at the other site. I absolutely LOVE thier food even after eating there every day for over a month when I was pregnant. Lol. I could eat here every day. Completely recommend this restaurant!!
Found Linda's last year and I LOVE their food. Pancit is my favorite (reminds me of my mom-in-law's) but their chicken and pork adobo, menudo, and leche flan are also wonderful. 😍 If you don't know what something is, just ask - they're happy to describe or show you.
I have frequented Linda's Cafe for many years and love their food. The owners are three sisters and they are the nicest people. My favorite dish is the special pancit.
The very first thing I noticed is how clean the place is, second the owner/cook is extremely kind. She kept me company as I was eating on a Saturday night, and of course the food is authentic Pinoy. Definitely a back.
2 sweet ladies making good Filipino food! Had the Pancit with an order of Lumpia and it was just as good as my Step-Motherr's cooking. I will be back!
Great place for fresh food. You may need to call them in 15 mins before and order. They cook everything fresh
Love the food. Very affordable. With unlimited rice. Friendly staffs. Feels like home. Must try the pancit, spring rolls, Shanghai chicken, crispy pata, halo halo, chopsuey, fried pompano and vanguard, and more!
The two ladies (I think sisters) very nice and helpful. I went for the balikbayan box. Ended up staying for lunch special "very good food, excellent rice. It's just a little place in small shopping Plaza. Great find!! *****
Delicious Philipino food! The lechon was crispy and flavorful. The chicken pancit was amazing and huge portion size for the price! Everyone was kind and the traditional Philipino recipes are spot on. Can't wait to go back and try more authentic food!
The food is authentic and very tasty. Thank you to the people there, you are wonderful.
Missed eating Filipino food and stumbled across this place. Had the pleasure of meeting Linda and ordered one of my favorite dishes “Kare-Kare”. She was generous and surprised I like Filipino food. Sat down and enjoyed my meal to the bone lol. Visited at least twice and if I have another chance before leaving Lubbock, I’ll make another stop. Thank you Linda.
The food is delicious I got beef n shrimp fried rice. The only thing is..it should come with sauce on the side. You only get soy sauce... other than that it's a great place to eat .
We ordered the pork and chicken pancit, egg rolls, and spring rolls. Overall impressed! The flavors were subtle but definitely there. Spring rolls were delicious! I could only finish half of my meal. Looking forward to leftovers!
Very nice and clean , they got our food out in a timely manner and the food was 😋 delicious . I ordered the chicken pancit , very generous portioni will defiantly go back

Two special ladies serving kindness and great cuisine. Love this place and price is very fair.
Had the chicken pancit, with egg rolls, and spring rolls. Lots a noodles and fair amount of protein. The egg rolls and spring rolls had a nice and crispy shell.
I absolutely love the food here. This is my go-to place every time.
It may not taste exactly like your mom’s home cooking, but this is definitely one of the best options. The people are really nice, and the food is genuinely good.

I ate here 6 years ago, when the'r store was still small. I came back again yesterday to eat & I enjoyed it. Their store is bigger now. The food reminds me of how my nana cooks it, I liked it because I've been in other filipino restaurants but they've already converted it the be more americanized taste but linda's food is original to The filipino food. It iis more bland and needs condiments (bagoong, toyo and patis to taste). I liked it like that. There are some things that needs to be improved. Their portion size is too small for how much they are asking for. For example ,$15 for a piece of meat w/ a tiny veggie and sauce for a karekare is expensive I liked it tho so I had to order another one for takeout. But having a very small portion size is not going to work in the american serving. It's more expensive than Max.The rice is cheap, And needs to improve. My hubby liked the bbq but told me how tiny it was, and the friedrice he did not liked as it was more bland. But he enjoyed the halo2x and we even get another dessert for take out to which we both enjoyed too. The ambient of the restaurant is simple, But i did not like the wobly broken seats. The planters needs to go too as they don't look good. Other than that the place is clean. The 2 ladies we're pretty nice.
This, as my Filipina wife said, is a standard philipino cafe. The Ate's behind the counter would probably agree. The food is authentic, but the cost of the food is high (American inflation). I wanted to try it to see if it was a decent alternative to cooking when my wife arrives. Maybe, but only for a few things.
She cooks good food.
Being a trucker and passing through lubbock I wanted some local from guam/filipino food. Ordered chicken adobo and Chicken curry which both came with rice. The adobo was delicious and the taste was bringing me back some flavors of home. As for the curry its ok but needed more flavor. You can taste the curry and coconut milk but maybe a little more seasoning wouldn’t hurt. Overall definitely returning to this spot whenever in town! They were out of Lechon which is what I was craving. Toll next time, Thank you Lindas Cafe!
Friendly staff and freshly prepared food. Menu extensive but lacks ingredient information for those of us unfamiliar with items. Clea, reasonably priced, and good proportions. Ordered 2 types of pancit and not disappointed. Not a dine-in atmosphere place. A little challenging to find.
Pretty great Cafe, the people who are running this operation are awesome. The lumpia are pretty small, so I recommend ordering double what you think you need. Their pancit is delicious, some of the best I have had. Overall, its a pretty good Filipino restaurant.
Very good Filipino food! The chicken adobo is delicious and legit. Very soft chicken with the bone in, making it legit lol most places I've been to do boneless, for some reason. I also got the barbecued pork on a stick that was also smokey, sweet and delicious! Highly recommended if you're wanting some Filipino deliciousness in Lubbock!
Delicious vegetable pancit! If I can't have my lola's cooking while in college, this will have to do! Sweet ladies, clean, and makes you feel like you're at home.

Clean facility, small portion, friendly service, tasty food.
I'm half Filipino and any time I'm in town I come here. I have a smile on my face every time I look at the menu to decide what to eat. This place is real Filipino food and reminds me of the food I'd eat in my Grandmothers house in Las Pinas. I even love soap opera playing.

First time visit. I only had the spring rolls. The grease, they were fried in, tasted old. I would like to try another item on their menu. So I haven't written Linda's off. The prices reasonable.
We ordered take out from here around 4:00 on 9/7. The place was empty when we arrived, and after a few minutes of reviewing the menu, we chose the Mandarin Beef and Pepper steak combo plate and the chicken fried rice and a couple of egg rolls. About 20 minutes later, our order was ready, and we took it home. To my disappointment, the same tough beef was used in both the pepper steak and the mandarin beef. And only a few pieces between the two. The portion of each was very small. The fried rice portion was huge, but it had little to no flavor, and the egg rolls were soggy and full of oil. Sadly, we did not enjoy our meal from here.

2 trips. The first was excellent and food was great. 2nd was so-so. Portions were half of what we received the first time and seasoned differently. I'll try one more time.

I'm pregnant and have been craving authentic Lumpia so decided to check this place out....I ordered 8 Lumpia and received something that looked like the little toastitos rol up things and it was like she took 2 and cut th into 8 little tiny pieces....I've spent my fair share of time in the Philippines and was highly disappointed l. The chicken fried rice was nothing spectacular and nothing like the real deal.
I'm giving 2 star only cause the lady was so sweet. But the food was really bad. Never again. Pepper stake came with a hot boiled one strip of beef. The fried rice tasted like Mexican rice. I wont eat here again
Had way too many noodles with not enough meat (shrimp and chicken). Was dry and only had 1 sauce. A spicy sweet and sour would be great and a bigger portion of it. Service was good but will not return. 😊

Ordered 3 meal ended costing $50 and food was very very small portion and mediocre taste. Still would recommend people giving it a try.

I don’t know who they’re paying for these good reviews, but don’t waste your money or time, I bought lunch for my crew, they wouldn’t eat there again for free! Food was tasteless and or covered with to much seasoning to compensate for the poor ingredients. They won’t be there much longer!!
Staff was rude, not a greet nor nod to meet the eye contact. I was waiting for someone to take my order & waited about 5 minutes on an empty restaurant. Kitchen was messy, everything was everywhere & it doesn’t seem to have been cleaned or organized in a while. Food was okay, loads of seasoning to compromise for the missing traditional ingredients. I have personal likings, other than that it was edible & good. I’m native born in Philippines, and moved here from California. The restaurant there is different from this, it definitely did not feel as if I’m home or welcomed. It felt as though it’s just a typical American restaurant compared to it making me feel as if I’m home, sure it gave off the theme and appearance of a typical Filipino restaurant that you would find anywhere, but the feel & taste is just not even on par with other restaurants I’ve experienced. Other than that, I thank you for letting me dine. I think there’s room for improvement. Other than what mentioned- food was good, staff was decent & did their jobs.
$29.45 for two meals. The slimy old "chicken adobo" was hot on one side and ice cold on other and in middle. First time I have ever taken a bite out of food, spit it out and walk right out of a restaurant. Improperly microwaved old food, just begging to be shut down for food poisoning.
Please be honest with your review to help people from out of town.. i will not recommend this place. 1st, the sign "clean before leaving your table " we are still facing covid. So it means no sanitized after other customers used it. 2nd food isn't good at all and not fresh cook. Seems like they just put it in the microwave. 3rd its so pricey for little food. And no customer service. DO NOT Waste of money and time
Definitely not worth the price plus it took forever for them to make my food. The halo halo was melted already when they gave it to me. Beef steak was definitely not how it should have been made.
Ordered pepper steak and mandarin beef and got vegetables with a couple slivers of steak terrible service do not recommend going here to waste your money
The two old ladies are very friendly, but other than that, nothing convinces me to come back again. Food is tasteless, noodle soup is worse than convenient noodle soup, inside is very hot, no sauces available. First time, last time.
Incredibly disappointed. Sadly this is the worst food I’ve ever had. Don’t get a drink - they are severely overcharged. The rice had no flavor and while I got the beef and broccoli and mandarin beef is really should’ve been called side of broccoli and cabbage with a small piece of beef. Both were incredibly watery and tasted exactly the same. It also smelt off, which honestly should’ve been my first indication that I’d made a bad decision!!

Food is extremely expensive & very small servings. The sweet sour chicken looked like chicken nuggets and we were given a bottle of sweet and sour sauce. They did not have combo meals for Filipino dishes & only a la carte at ridiculously high prices!!!??? I am sad for anyone who buys from this place. I wish I could give a zero instead of 1 but 1 is the lowest available score.
If I could give this restaurant a zero, I would. They have the worst customer service. Filipinos are known for our hospitality but the old lady is rude to the highest level. They sell expensive food that's not even worth the taste and she has the audacity to be rude to her customers! Don't go to this restaurant! It's the worst! Might as well go to the Mexican place next to it. THIS IS NOT WORTH IT!
