Always good, try to eat here once a month. Prefer it to the other Mexican food places in the High Desert and come here from Apple Valley. Prices are good and only occasionally have we had slow service but we usually eat here on Sundays.
Wonderful service and food. The waitresses were polite and kind, got our oders fast, the food was incredible. I heavily recommend any of their shrimp meals, just to die for
Love this place, they serve me breakfast past noon recommend huevos rancheros
Great delicious food in preparation for big bear adventures! Clean facilities. Great service. Food quality was phenomenal and the portions were perfect, not too big or small. Will definitely visit again!
Stopped by here on the way back to SD. The restaurant was packed and it was obvious that the staff was a bit overwhelmed. Despite that, everyone was extremely friendly and made every effort to serve us in a timely manner. Our food came out fast once we ordered and was delicious! The refried beans are amazing and the enchiladas were bomb. Highly recommend
Went a couple nights in a row. First night everything was 5 star! Next night, we had a different server, she didn't seem to care as much as the guy we had the night before. Overall, happy to stop in. Hope ya get the waiter vrs the older lady.
What a surprise! Great! Clean! Generous tasty portions with awesome service! Great little family spot:) we just moved in the area and love this happy spot. Definitely going to be our regular Mexican restaurant for years to come! Cheers
Wonderful service and the best Barbacoa burrito I've ever had. ❤️ the salsa was also fantastic with just the right amount of heat. Will definitely come again if back in the area!
I love the food here and they make delicious bloody Mary's. My favorite things to eat here are the nachos with your choice of meat. The chicken nachos are my favorite and my sister always had the beef because that was her favorite. I also love the Taco salad and it is huge so bring your appetite for that one. The place is nice and clean and the service is great. Excellent
A fine dining establishment out in practically the middle of nowhere, the experience I had at this place was excellent. Wonderful service, delicious food, and hospitable atmosphere rich in Mexican culture. Highly recommend this place for anyone heading towards Big Bear via SR 18, or if you're coming down the mountains. You won't regret the time spent here, I assure you.
Always friendly, food comes fast and always delicious with reasonable prices.
Easy to find on highway 18 ample parking, very handicap friendly. Orders to go or dinning room open. Wow big upgrade since the remodel 2020 looks very clean and nice. The restaurant seems more lit up with beautiful mural seating benches, Love the blue lighting around the bar entrance. Manuel are server was awesome & lots patience, We were a party of seven, it's not easy taking four very young children out to eat, Manuel got all the food orders perfect and it tasted phenomenal. We ordered... quesadillas with french fries, quesadillas with beans and rice, chile rellenos, carne asada plates, combo plates with enchiladas & tamales, even the sample platter, everything was hot and fresh tasted wonderful.
Wow! Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had and in the middle of nearly nowhere. Thank you to our lovely waitress, Lupita for recommending the Mexi salad. If only I hadn’t devoured before I realized I hadn’t photographed it.
Adelitas Mexican food restaurant in Lucerne Valley California is delicious! For the most delicious Mexican food try Adelitas when your nearby. After spending a fun afternoon of driving exciting quad atv's at "Happy Trails ATV Rentals" in Lucerne Valley-Ben Stone the owner recommended Adelitas for mexican food-it was a great suggestion! The service and staff at Adelitas Mexican Restaurant are very helpful, first rate and they always make suggestions from their extensive menu. Their menu features traditional Mexican dishes that are really great and they also feature a very extensive Mexican fish dish menus that is excellent! They have seafood tacos, enchiladas, burritos, salads and appetizers galore! There portions are generous and prices are very fair for all that you get at Adelitas. Family, kids and senior friendly, plenty of parking and convenient to other shops and store's . This was a great family experiance at Adelitas Mexican Restaurant Lucerne Valley California!

The Carne Asada Buritto served wet with the deluxe sauce is the bomb.com
I visited Adelita's Mexican Restaurant in Lucerne Valley earlier this week and had an absolutely phenomenal takeout experience. Called in my order and picked it up without any hassle. The nachos were incredible - loaded with amazing toppings that made every bite perfect. But the real star was their deep-fried ice cream - absolutely amazing! The contrast between the warm, crispy exterior and cold, creamy ice cream was pure perfection. If you're an ice cream lover, you absolutely must try it. Highly recommend Adelita's for excellent Mexican food and outstanding desserts!
Great Mexican food that is fresh and homemade. The atmosphere is authentic without being overdone and the service was fast and friendly. Great place to stop on the road or even as a destination place.
Great Mexican Food 10 out of 10. Totally recommend it.

I had the chili colorado plate the food had good flavor the only problem I had with it was the chips and salsa are not made in house it's store-bought salsa and it's watered down with no flavor something you would feed a gringo
Besides a few weird pictures on the seat I've always loved it but the waitress keeps ripping everyone off in town. We gave her 40 and told her we'll tip on card so she charged the card for food and took the 40 as a tip on top of the 15 we did for our drinks. Idk who in their right mind thinks it's okay to steal from their customers but she deserves to be fired. Everyone I know has a problem with her and I finally found out why
I ordered the two item combination plate, with a chicken taco and a cheese enchilada. They were both excellent. The chicken was very tender and had excellent flavor and the enchilada sauce was perfect. The only problem was that salsa was super spicey and that is probably desirable for many but I wanted to taste my food so I ended up eating a ton of chips to get rid of the burn. Other than that, this is one of my favorite restaurants and chili's and spices can very but their food is reliably good. A go to place for great Mexican food.
Really decent food especially if you want to escape Big Bear crowded restaurants and go DTH to eat but not travel too far! The restaurant is super clean, well decorated and the service is great!! We are a family of 8 and they have 2 huge booths for large parties to choose from that fit us all comfortably 😁
This place is our only Mexican restaurant in town so we’re very lucky the food is so delicious. Homemade guacamole to die for. There are one or two longtime waitresses who are notorious for changing up prices all the time, though. Even though I always order the same thing, my bill ranges in price depending on which waitress I get. But aside from that I do love this spot. The food is ALWAYS consistently delicious.
On my way down from a little trip to Big Bear Lake I googled bars in the Lucerne Valley area and this place came up. Although it has a full bar it's more a restaurant than a bar. The staff was super welcoming, attentive, and friendly. I had a tostada salad with Chile Verde pork and it was pretty good. The menu is full of options including breakfast, lunch, dinner, seafood, and more. The others were more than fair also.
Service was great the food was fantastic! however, when it was time to pay I calculated 20% of $43.43 equals $8.68 = $52.11 (before tax). 20% of the $48.54 tip with tax = $9.71 $48.54 + 971 tip = $58.25 The bottom of the receipt suggests 20% of the bill total WITH TAX. When I brought this discretion to the ladies their demeanor changed from being nice to... Just Pay What You Want!! She exclaimed. it got awkward and uncomfortable I paid an $8 tip and got the heck out of there. They're adding the tip after tax to get a higher total tip! Probably to offset wages and tips on their W-2s, or hoping that the customer doesn't catch the higher tip amounts. Most customers pay what they want. I do not know if this is a policy that is used. I've never seen it before. However, I always make sure the server is properly compensated for their service. I take into consideration that if I was at a restaurant with higher priced meals like a steakhouse for example and the food was much more expensive the tip would be higher! I understand that so help me understand people! Is it typical for restaurants to suggest tips after tip totals after tax? Would appreciate your feedback. From the Internet: In the U.S., tips are never included in the price. Even though a tip should depend on the quality of the goods or services received, it is customary in the United States to leave a tip equivalent to 15% of the total bill, BEFORE taxes, in restaurants and bars. As I said, I've never seen it before. Pay attention to the bottom of your receipts! Kenneth ^
They have great salsa here! I ordered a shredded beef taco and my SO got a soft shell taco with carnitas. The beef and carnitas were juicy and well seasoned. They fry their own shells here, too, which I appreciate. We like to eat here when we're in the area :)
A local refered me to Adelitas which is in my mind the beat way to hear about a restaurant. It was a quiet sunday night and only a few other guests were having dinner. A few guests were dropping by to pick up orders. The salsa is chunky and spicy. The chips are nice and salty. The carne asada was tasty, especially with lime added. Portions were generous and filling. Fried tacos were good and crunchy with fresh toppings and the rice was perfect. The server was very nice and checked on me a few times. She had a smile the whole time. I tried the fish tacos (Not pictured) the night before and they were good too. I will be dropping in again on my next visit.

Adelita's is slipping. They charged me an extra $2 without consent for carnitas that were dry and hard. The ice tea had no flavor straight. The bad ice tea was over $4. They gave me rice that I specially stated I did not want in place of more beans. Some whole beans in the refried beans were hard like being undercooked. Everything else like the Chile relleno and shredded beef taco were good. I hope Adelita's tries harder to do better for us again
It has been a couple of years since we last ate here. We had taquitos for lunch about a month ago and they were delicious. We had mediocre experiences in the past so thought maybe try again after the fire and rebuild. I love a good carne asada burrito but theirs in the past was dry and had 0 flavor. Well, the same still. Too much cilantro and meat was dry and flavorless. Beans are good, rice is good, shrimp enchiladas should have had whole shrimp not tiny pieces. Price was average but probably won't go again. No "WOW"!!! Maybe some flavor in the carne asada. It really was almost like jerky with no salt or seasoning. Our little town should do better. We don't have much to offer so we should try to make the food top notch.
Beware of hidden fees! Nothing or no one tells you there is extra fee for a wet burrito. Also a service charge, apparently for just walking in the door. Food was fair, don't add on the soup , not worth the extra $3.00. Service & decor were fine, music a little loud.
Me and my man have been here multiple times before and had great experiences but unfortunately this time was not so great. I ordered the veggie burrito with green sauce on the side and my veggies inside were cold, We told her about it and she said that we have to ask for them to be cooked which is weird because I've ordered this burrito before and the veggies were always cooked, My man got a carne asada burrito and the carne asada was so hard he also ordered a chili relleno on the side and never got it he reminded the waitress that she forgot it and said she'd be right back and then forgot it again lol We just said forget it.. also ordered a spicy margarita which was not spicy at all and was super sweet..

Visited Adelita's Restaruant, 2 tables had people. Waitress was nice, but needed to come back to the table more than once. Maybe our table was an imposition? The tea I had tasted sour, old water. The food was lacking , very bland. Had to ask for another basket of chips and another saucer of sauce for our table. Maybe they feel since there are not very many places to eat in this town, that they don't need to put in the extra effort. The booths are cramped, with no way of adjusting the tables.
It's either really good or really really bad. Depends on who's cooking. Molcajete is a ripoff. No shrimp like it says on the menu. The sausage was the size of a Ritz cracker. Server said I can make it an order for 1 instead of 2, so I did.I figured it would cost less. I still got charged for an order for 2 people. Which was like 34 bucks. When he was bringing my wife's tacos to the table he slipped and dumped the toppings off one of the tacos all over the table said oops but never cleaned it off the table or replaced the toppings on the taco. I keep trying to like this restaurant but keep getting disappointed, and then recently ripped off!
Corporate atmosphere. Left my Potato taco out of the order. Food was subpar and waitstaff was fake. Go to El Coyote Loco instead.

Many moons ago I used to drive and hr to eat here. Got a to go order and the wouldn't even eat it. Over priced now and cheap cheap ingredients. Worst I have ever had 3x in a row and this used to be my favorite place. Literally my dog wouldn't eat it either. Also service is equally as bad the food rude rude servers!
Gross!!! Place is disgusting. Staff is rude even when their not busy. I know someone that worked here and she told me they have cockroaches walking around by the kitchen and dish washing area. Apparently the manager/owner was so cheap he rarely paid employees on time so the waitress who he was screwing around behind his wife's back would take the money out of the safe and make sure to pay the employees. Before I knew this I had eaten here a couple times and wasn't great. More bland than anything but after hearing that I dont eat here anymore. Sad cause this place at one time was one of the best in town
I paid 44 dollars on a meal to go. I remember this because my boyfriend only had 38 dollars so I paid for it as he was short. Go to check my bank today I was charged 60 dollars! Someone added on a nice tip for themselves without my approval. This is stealing!! Watch out if you go here food good but the waitress is a thief! The police owner and better business burial will be hearing from me on this because she's probably doing this to alot of people!
I usually like this place but yesterday I was presented with a bill of $63. I left a 4 dollar tip in cash. I checked my bank account and Im being billed for $71. I dont like surprises especially this kind. I'll NEVER pay with a card again. Cash only. Apparently the server didnt think she was getting a big enough tip and took it upon herself to write in her own. That's called stealing. The place was empty except for one table but for some reason we were being rushed by the server. I talked nothing but good about this place, no more!
Ruined our important family event by serving burnt over cooked chimichangas. Showed the server how bad they were. She said that’s how they do it. Would not replace the order or refund. They are hated in our community. Eat here and join that club. Message them about a bad experience and get canned apology that reads like a bot wrote it. They say they will forward to the team whatever that means. But ultimately nothing will happen. Just more of their famous BS. That’s all they are
Just bought an asada burrito for $13 even tipped the lady $3 idk why. I got like three whole bites of asada meat only in the burrito, the rest of it was rice and beans. I really wanted a good burrito, it's hard living off grid and what little money I can get together I just wanted something simple just to treat myself for all my hard work. It's ok thought, maybe someday I'll give this place a try again, but not anytime soon. 😔
First of all this place was recommended to me. I will not ever recommend or go back. The atmosphere was good, very friendly. How ever I was there to have tasty food.. That didn’t happen. The chips were very good salsa good tasted store bought with red chili flakes., only selection for salsa. My friend said it was spicy so the waitress offered some guacamole to cut the spice. She brought a very small teaspoon of it. I ordered a ground beef enchilada to go for my spouse. My husband was displeased. No meat and the enchilada was a street taco sized corn tortillas. My meatball soup was tasteless. My friends fajitas were small. Don’t go hungry and her guacamole was $8.00. For something she was offered to cut spice. We could have declined if she knew that teaspoon of a guacamole would be $8.00. Ripoff. I would say a trap spot for a middle of a road trip restaurant. They try to charge you up. The cars in front are employees so you think they are busy they are not. Feel bad doing reviews like this because they were nice. However customers need to know. Hidden fees, small amounts for tasteless food. They cook don’t place meat in street taco sized enchilada and don’t think you will be full. Kid sized plates with grilled vegetables and small pieces of meat. Cook at home don’t eat here.
