Such a wonderful little spot! The service at Coffee 247 is incredibly warm and friendly, and the coffee itself is absolutely delicious. It’s one of those places that feels special the moment you walk in — simple, welcoming, and full of good energy. We chose this route driving from Joshua Tree National Park to San Francisco, and stopping here was definitely the right decision. The view along the way is beautiful, and this café made the drive even more worth it. If you’re passing through, this place is a must-visit. Beautiful drive, great coffee, totally worth the stop.

I passed by this place once on the way to a Family trip in Johnson Valley. Let me tell you, if you’re hungry, this is THE DESTINATION!! I got the normal cheeseburger with provolone and avocado. WOW!! Was it delicious! I usually say In N Out serves the best burgers. They still do, but if you’re in Lucerne Valley, this spot BEATS In n Out’s burgers! On a side note, I detailed Natalie’s car and she treated me with great hospitality! I felt welcomed as soon as I stepped inside, and am happy to detail for the owners of such a WONDERFUL establishment!

Worth a trip from almost anywhere. Unique. From the old rusted car in front to the pigs made from propane holders on the roof, to all the decals and signs, this is Wild West US combined with rustic art at its best. The food is delicious. Breakfast all day, as the highway billboards say. We ate under the pergola on the patio, and I had the breakfast platter with chicken fried steak for _2 extra, and my partner had the half platter with bacon and pancakes. We've been there before on our way from Joshua Tree to Big Bear or Las Vegas, and the burgers and BBQ are just as good as the breakfast platters we had today. The sign at the door saying No Trespassing to public officials and their agents and quoting the Constitution of the United States of America is another harking to the past. The service by both the counter woman and the woman manager was uniquely fabulous, too, fast and competent besides friendly beyond any expectations. Long live the West and Cafe 247, est. yesterday.

This must be one of those hidden gems in the desert, which we have passed by many times on our way to Big Bear Lake, but not anymore. On our latest trip to the lake from Las Vegas, we stopped here to have lunch, and we are so glad we did. What a truly unique place, with both indoor and outdoor dining areas as well as several stages, which we were told is for live entertainment on the weekends. From the moment you step out of your vehicle, you will be amazed at what you see, and once inside the restaurant area, the walls and ceiling will draw your attention to all the old and new license plates from around the world combined with all the unique stickers and highway signs. As for the food, it was out of this world, and not what we would have expected from a place out in the middle of the desert. The staff members were amazing, with a special thank you sent out to Natalie, who was so friendly and cheerful and made us feel like family. All we know that in the future, we will always be stopping at this location on every trip we make to Big Bear Lake.

The BEST BURGER! Before getting to Cafe 247 there was a sign that read, “the world’s greatest hamburger” and it did not disappoint! The burger exceeded all expectations. The fries were perfectly crispy and flavorful. Such a cool spot to stop at on your travels. 10/10 recommend!

I stopped here around 11 AM on a weekday on my way from Salton Sea to Tecopa CA. I was pulled in by the sign on the road that said "breakfast burritos all day." I had an excellent breakfast burrito made to order, and ate it inside. Although the music was a little loud, it was rocking some classic rock, which I enjoy. The place is funky with the kind of decor that evolves over many years. There's also outdoor seating and two stages for live music. Clean and -- dare I say? -- fun ladies room. I recommend this place and would definitely go back again.

I barely tasted one bite of their breakfast borrito and spat it out, threw it away. Nasty eggs, nastiest cheese ever, gross seasoning, cring Tortilla. Sucks cause it's not cheap. That being said, I'm sure they're good at something everyone is, they have live bands and bbq food That might be incredible. Sorry for the shty stars guys, but please please get some quality ingredients for your breakfast game!

Great spot to stop in for some favorable food,great atmosphere and friendly hospitality. Usually I will make it a stop on the way up to Big Bear, this time was specific to eat the pulled port sandwich (btw, they have on the menu all the time now). The restaurant and bathrooms are clean, plenty to look at between the signage and random fun hanging up. I did play 2 games of pool on their outside patio under a tarp. There was no live entertainment this visit but they do have live music occasionally.

We have driven past this place many times and finally had a chance to stop in for some food and drinks..: it’s was a Sunday afternoon, weather was perfect , they had a live band the atmosphere was terrific. We enjoyed a tuna Melt and a burger…. The decor is super interesting and you could spend hours looking at all the stuff… plenty of car parking available too

If you’re making your way through Lucerne Valley and looking for good food with an awesome atmosphere, look no further. A great menu with delicious food, from fish & chips, to burgers and salads, they offer a lot of great food and desserts too. The atmosphere is cozy and funky with a lot of personality and license plates from around the world. Outside seating offers you a fun experience in a desert museum, with good music and nice service, it truly is an experience you can only get in the American Southwest.

My 11 year old daughter, who had been in a car for the past two hours was intrigued by the “best burgers” claim. According to her “I’d drive 8 hours just to come back and eat their burgers—they are amazing!” I’d have to agree. Everything we had was fresh and tasty. We were treated warmly by the hostess and the chef. Great list-highway-Americana vibes.

Since embarking on my road trip I’ve come across some best described as interesting food experiences and Cafe 247 is like something out of a movie. In most cases, I'm passing through with a good chance of never returning so I'll usually ask the staff what they think I should try. And this case was no different having both the front counter staff and chef recommend the loaded all-meat breakfast Barrido with cheese, bacon, sour cream, and all the great ingredients required for deliciousness. This place is like a roadside attraction that at first glance might cause you to question whether or not to stop but I highly recommend taking the chance. After parking, when walking up to the front door of the restaurant you immediately start to make sense of all the old cars, motorcycles, and fabricated metal objects along with two outdoor live music stages... Wow! It’s hard to believe how my most memorable food experiences have all been in obscure or out-of-the-way destinations and Cafe 247 is on that list of cool places! Yep, this place is awesome and the staff is super cool. And when it comes to personal life experiences know that these are good people and it's worth making the stop!

My wife and I used to love the 30 min ride here just for their fried pickle spears. We've tried several things here and were never disappointed but the fried pickles were the best! Ou most recent visit changed that! For whatever reason they changed their pickles, it's enough that we probably won't go back for food. The fried cheese curds we got were great. The fried pickles were a complete disappoint and NOTHING like what we've had on previous visits. There was almost no pickle to be found, only overcooked pickle skin that remained. We should have asked for a refund but decided to accept the loss and enjoy the cheese curds. Atmosphere is awesome here but unless they fix the pickles we probably won't return. I wish we'd taken a picture of the awful fried mess we received instead of the delicious pickles they used to serve. For the high price of the food they definitely need to do better.

I'm being generous with my food rating, deciding to split the difference between my burger, my partners sandwich, and the chicken wings- which brought the average down. The thick 'drummies' were barely not frozen because they were cooked the same amount of time as the thinner pieces. My partner relayed that fact to whoever was at the counter, and was told "oh my. I'll let her know. This is the 2nd time tonight." No other offers of recompense. Uh huh. As momma always says, 'sorry is as sorry does'. Besides that the burger was average at best, at least the fries were OK....and 2 days later thankfully I don't have any G.I. issues. The atmosphere was like any other dive, nothing special, but to be fair, we weren't there when the outside party area had any action. Wasn't much going on inside either, just 2 tables occupied. Should've been a clue at dinner hour on a Saturday. So, there. I dealt with it.
