Excellent menu del día in pleasant dinning surroundings downstairs where it's more informal with a good atmosphere. All dishes are freshly prepared and homemade, the steak pie was tasty as was the steak burrito. It was washed down with a good mencia from the award winning winery Guimaro. Good service a bit slow to get us the bill. Best to get there early say 1 ish as its packed by 2.30 pm.

Best arroz señoret we have had (and we live in Alicante and have spent weeks in Cullera and Valencia). Fabulous service. I could bathe in the artichoke appetizer. The outdoor terrace on the upper floor is lovely. Do not miss this restaurant.

One of the popular gastro-pubs in Lugo. Operates a split level, 2 menu foodie experience. Upstairs a la carte and on the 1st floor a sampler more simple menu, if you sitt downstairs you can pick and chose from both menu's, upstairs "a la carte" only,, we sat downstairs... The decor is modern, in shades of blues and grey's, the seating is very comfy and overall a well thoughout presentation. We sampled 5 different plates, skipping from, baby beef to tuna tartar, by way of a succulent chistorra, pausing for a roast beef sandwich, followed by a salmon maki.... The melody of flavors enchanted, of course the usual comments of a bit more of this, less of that and opinions and ranking of each followed 😋 The service was excellent, the prices MORE than fair, all in a very safe/desinfected environment! En Hora Buena España 👏👏👏

We ate at the gastropub portion of España and it was fabulous! I had a Galician beef hamburger (which was coarsely chopped steak molded into a patty) with caramelized onions, kimchi, and San Simeon cheese. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had and was a steal at 8.50€. My husband had the daily menu and selected gyozas with beef, a pork chop, and an apple dessert for a total of 15€. Outstanding food for the price and staff were great.

Had the best meal—steak tartare, croquetas, grilled ox. Everything was excellent and our waiter Carlos was great. Be sure to wash it down with some Terra Meiga. Favorite meal on the trip.

Small portions for glasses of wine. The bread felt quite dry but the ox was delicious as well as the tartar. We asked for a salad and got very minimally chopped veggies, but the service was great.

Great inventive food, good Galician wine, friendly service - it does annoy me when restaurants charge for bread you don't ask for, but everything else was impeccable.
