Estuve hace unos días y solo puedo decir que me encantó, brutal! Los rollitos crujientes de langostinos y castaña, el dim sum, el pato imperial Beijing,... todo riquísimo y muy buena calidad. El servicio fue muy amable, pendiente de todo y el local está decorado con muy buen gusto, es muy agradable. Qué descubrimiento! Tengo claro que volveré!!

We had a wonderful experience at China Crown in Madrid. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the service was excellent from start to finish. Reservations are definitely a must. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, with plenty of great vegetarian options. We asked our waiter to recommend a selection of vegetarian dishes, and every single one was fantastic. We’re not all vegetarians, and our non-vegetarian friends loved their dishes even more — if that’s possible! Overall, it’s a fantastic place for a special meal. Highly recommended!

I decided to treat myself on my birthday and the experience was lovely. The food was good—maybe not mind-blowing, but definitely well-executed and delicious. The real star of the evening, though, was dessert: a chocolate miso coulant paired with ginger ice cream. It was EXCEPTIONAL. The flavors were unlike anything I’d ever encountered in a dessert. My curiosity for bold, unconventional combinations led me to try it, and it turned out to be the best decision I made all night. The fermented umami depth of the miso gave the chocolate a stunning kick, while the earthy heat of the ginger ice cream balanced it perfectly. It was a flavor explosion—complex, surprising, and utterly satisfying. Whoever crafted that dessert deserves a standing ovation… and a raise. It was a true work of culinary art.

I recently visited China Crown Restaurant and really enjoyed the food. I had the chance to try a variety of dim sum, and each one had a unique and delicious flavor. My absolute favorites were the langousteria dim sum and the one made with Iberian pork — both were incredibly tasty and well-prepared. For the main course, I ordered the classic langousteria and the sea bass with a special sauce. Both dishes were amazing — full of flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The restaurant was quite crowded and a bit noisy during my visit, but overall, the experience was very enjoyable thanks to the excellent food. I’d definitely come back again.

We had a reservation for 2 adults and 1 child and the table was not ready and we didn’t quite like the table offered to us. We were offered another table by the manager and from then… the dining experience that night was flawless. The manager of the restaurant was really nice and friendly. We truly enjoyed every bit of the food. Very authentic and the peking duck is to die for. 10/10. Great restaurant with great team and Special kudos to the manager Mr. Adrian who made the night a great one.

China Crown is a MUST when in Madrid. This is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Every ingredient used was fresh and all flavors went together perfectly. I believe I’ve found the absolute perfect menu for two people. Every single dish was amazing — there was nothing I would change. Instead of the tasting menu, do yourself a favor and order these must-have dishes: ⭐️ Xiao Long Bao de Txangurro con caldo de marisco ⭐️ Ha Kao de langostinos y jengibre ⭐️ Rollitos crujientes de langostinos - Crispy Prawn rolls ⭐️ Pato Imperial Beijing - lacquered Peking duck ⭐️ Torrija Cantonesa a las 5 especies chinas Aside from the absolutely exquisite dishes, the atmosphere was great. Service was attentive, restaurant was clean, very cool air conditioning (perfect in the summer Madrid heat), and the dishes came out steaming hot. You won’t regret your visit!

Excellent experience. Everything was perfectly cooked by maintaining the traditional flavours but adding a twist of innovation. I would highlight the Dim Sum and the sweet and sour pork. Also, the noodles which are thin but tasty. The desserts are also remarkable with a torrija that goes far beyond average.

This is such a beautiful restaurant, very intimate and elegant. They play soothing background music that is nice and relaxing. The cocktail ware delicious. I ordered a szechuan margarita and it was so good! I also tried the Jellyfish, which i would definitely recommend if you have never tried it. Overall I would say this is a great spot. Definitely check it out if you haven't been before. I know I will come back to try the rest of the plates I didn't get to order.

El ambiente, la decoración, la vajilla y sobre todo el servicio fueron excelentes y en general, la experiencia fue buenísima y volveré a probar otros platos de su carta. No obstante, algunos platos no nos parecieron demasiado buenos. Entre ellos, el arroz montaña dorada no tenía apenas sabor, suerte que mezclándolo con la ternera tomaba el sabor de esta, que era deliciosa. Recomiendo sobre todo los dim sum de boletos y trufa (en las fotos, los cuadrados) y la torrija.

Una experiencia auténtica de cocina imperial. El Pato Imperial Beijing es, sin duda, el protagonista: la piel crujiente y el corte en mesa son un espectáculo. Se nota la calidad de los ingredientes y el respeto por las recetas tradicionales. Los dim sums también son excelentes, especialmente los de trufa. Un sitio elegante, ideal para una ocasión especial si buscas algo más allá del restaurante chino convencional.

El restaurante es bonito, aunque me lo esperaba más amplio, y que en un sitio que presume de ser un local de referencia, bajes al baño y haya una cola gigante por estar averiado el servicio de caballeros, no habla excesivamente bien del trabajo de mantenimiento..., aparte de eso, me chirríó el relajo que existe en esa zona que no destaca por encina de cualquier otro local oriental. Lo que si es muy distinto es el precio, la comida rica, pero por lo que pagas por ella, es lo mínimo... y aunque el servicio nos encantó porque personal a tu disposición hay, que te cobren 2,50e por el servicio de cada comensal... le corta a cualquiera el impulso de dejar propina. Cenamos correctamente, agusto, muy rico el postre... pero si que es cierto que por la relación calidad precio que pagas, encuentras bastante oferta, por comparativa y justicia, no me atrevo a destacarlo sobremanera.

Beautiful restaurant with excellent food. Every dish our small group ordered met or exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing, especially for a Michelin starred restaurant. Our food was brought out from the kitchen and we saw it sitting at a serving station for nearly 10 minutes before it was brought to our table and much of it was no longer hot. They forgot to serve the rice we ordered so we got up from our table and picked it up ourselves from the serving station. The server never stopped back through the entire meal to check with us or see if we needed anything. We had to flag them down several times. It is a busy restaurant, but we arrived quite early and were one of the few tables there when we first sat down so we had hoped for a different experience. That being said, the food is good enough that we will certainly be back.

El menú degustación 70€, muy bueno. Un poco caro quizá para lo que era. El servicio muy muy lento

Hemos comido bien en general, pero haciendo una valoración calidad precio tengo que ponerle 3 estrellas, ya que por ejemplo el medio pato son 59 euros y no me pareció tan espectacular. En cambio los langostinos kung pao estaban muy ricos, pero 29 euros. Las copas de cerveza 6. El restaurante está muy chulo y el servicio fue bueno. La verdad es que hay muy buenos asiáticos en Madrid en los que puedes comer muy bien a mitad de precio.

Cenamos en pareja en este restaurante recomendado de la Guía Michelin. Platos escasos por el precio que pagas. Empezamos por los rollos imperiales, bien fritos, masa muy fina, literalmente cuatro bocados. Pedimos el magret de pato crujiente y arroz tres variedades de acompañamiento, el magret la verdad es que estaba delicioso volvería solo por ello, el arroz en su punto, aunque volvemos a que el precio que se paga no justifica el plato. De postre el clásico flan que se queda en un fin de fiesta flojo. Decoración sobria y elegante, servicio algo lento, nos sentimos un poco abandonados en algún momento, no sé si tuvieron una mala noche, pero no nos llevamos una buena experiencia.

Menu degustación (70€). No hubo nada destacable salvo las berenjenas chinas, único plato de nivel. Los fideos de boniatos no son agradables por tu textura excesivamente gomosa. El arroz "montaña de oro" y los rollitos imperiales son platos de lo más normales. Los Din Sum en cambio si cumplen expectativas. El pato lacado, plato estrella, llega al aprobado justo. Y la torrija (un Brioche mojado con caramelo) cierra el menú con una sensación decepcionante.

Me voy a referir explícitamente al menú degustación por ser justos. La comida estuvo bastante normal en sabor como cualquier otro restaurante más sencillo y el único plato que resaltó fue el pato laqueado, lo cual hizo que la experiencia sea un poco decepcionante al haber pagado 70 euros por persona, además de que no hay experiencia como tal, básicamente te traen los platos y ya. No es como otros menú degustación del mismo precio, donde el emplatado es por persona y se luce, en cambio en China Crown, traían el plato del menú normal y lo dividían en dos platos sin más. Por otro lado, el personal muy atento y la decoración del restaurante está bastante bien.

I had high expectations of this place after visiting almost all of its direct competitors in the city(high end, 60€+p/p Chinese restaurants). I was disappointed! Didn't find the quality of the plates as good as I expected except for the duck that was good. The decor is nice, nothing crazy. The service is very professional and adequate for the prices on the menu. Won't be back!

The food was good, but we honestly expected more from a restaurant billed as the best Chinese restaurant in Europe. There were a few interesting flavours, but nothing that truly wowed me. Unfortunately, the atmosphere took away even more from the experience: it was far too loud, with piles of coats next to our table, screaming children and teenagers, and people treating the restaurant like a catwalk. It felt chaotic rather than celebratory, and certainly not the anniversary dinner we had hoped for. A real pity.

We arrived with high expectations, but the service was a serious letdown. While the food was very good, the staff’s behavior was unacceptable for any fine dining establishment, let alone a Michelin-recommended one. Plates were cleared by reaching directly across diners, dirty dishes were left on the table and then stacked under the next course, and the attitude of the waiters was dismissive, as if serving us was an inconvenience. This level of service shows a lack of training and respect for the customer. It completely undermines the quality of the food and does not merit the Michelin recommendation.

Overall average experience. I had high expectations for the food and was missing familiar flavours. We had the tasting menu, which was meant to portray the best of the menu. I felt the dishes were too fast and didn’t leave time to enjoy flavours. If you enjoy quick servings this is perfect. My partner enjoyed the appetiser but I felt they were not fresh. Most of the other dishes are not something I’d mention as they didn’t not wow me. The xiao long and dim sum were average and if you want something that will remind you of the Chinese Xiao long bao this will not. The yuxiang eggplant with pickled chili was my favourite and would definitely recommend. The most disappointing dish was the pecking duck, as they forget to bring the pancakes to go with the dish. By the time we got them, the duck was cold and dry. If you have an allergy make sure to tell them as they do not ask. The staff were lovely but will only be there to bring food or drink. Lovely atmosphere and setting, if you have not traveled to Asian countries the food is a nice introduction.

A bit expensive way to get from being in a good mood to not so happy feeling at the end of the meal. It took them 20 minutes to find out that the entry that I ordered was not available, in addition to already having waited a bit to order in the first place. The duck magret arrived with nothing to accompany it, just meat with cloying sauce. It did not occur to the waiter to suggest a side dish, mind you that in the menu no side dishes are even mentioned. What a treat of a meal. The only food that I did enjoy was the complimentary appetizer. I was served a huge bottle of water for 5 euros, and the cover charge was another "nice" detail.

Estuvimos ayer dos personas y no comimos nada bien. La sopa agripicante que estaba buena, la cantidad, al lado de otros restaurantes con muy buenas o mejores opiniones, fue de risa, parecia una "cata". Pedimos xiaolongbao, nada del otro mundo, pensabamos que en un sitio asi probariamos algo mejor de lo que acostumbramos, peor que en otros sitios que acostumbramos a ir. Giozas que dejaban mucho que desear ya que vinieron templadas, casi frias y encima en dos de ellas los bordes duros. Salsa de soja escasisima (ninguna mas), arroz de tres tipos (muy rico) pero de cantidad, lo mismo, muy poco, y el otro plato igual. el ruido que habia era tremendo... total con dos cervezas y el postre 140 euros!! . Sabiamos los precios y fuimos esperando una calidad y categoria "especial". Nada de eso.... una tomadura de pelo, salimos con hambre y decepcionados. Lamentable, no volveremos.
