Pase por ahí hace una semana con un grupo de familiares y amigos y la verdad la pasamos genial, tiene un ambiente muy animado, además de que se encuentra muy bien situado, justo en el centro de Madrid, Sol, lo que lo hace muy fácil de ubicar. El personal igualmente ha sido muy atento y amable, sin duda regresaremos una vez que andemos serca del sitio.

When I saw this bar I knew I saw heaven, as soon as I stepped in I sense the sportsmanship, smelled like grass even. Here I saw how Liverpool destroyed Manchester City so that made me super happy apart from the food, the drinks and the vibe. Also the danish server was kind and cool.

Buen lugar para ver el fútbol en la zona de Sol. La comida es normal, sin grandes alardes, simplemente para acompañar mientras ves el deporte o para un apaño. Pedimos la hamburguesa Angus y esperaba algo más para el precio que tenía de 18 euros. Por la zona hay bastantes lugares de tapas como alternativa pero es cierto que no ponen el deporte como aquí, por lo que ya es valorar las prioridades. Servicio magnífico y camareros muy amables.

Visited this pub for the Ireland v Hungary football match. Great atmosphere, Irish, Spanish, Americans all here watching the game and the NFL game also. The tv would freeze sometimes but didn't matter for the big moments. The pub is located in a nice pedestrian area, plenty to see, eat and do nearby. Metro Sol station 5 min walk away. Pints of San Miguel 7euro, expensive in my opinion, but tasted good. Atmosphere was great for the game, bar staff were friendly, layout of pub was good too. Food available too, I did not try. Toilets located downstairs in cellar, be careful when negotiating the stairs and there is a bit of a pungent smell down there. Good crowd came in for the game and place got busier as night went on. Overall a good day and night spent here.

Weekday evenings was very empty in here. The Guinness was great and good prices. Staff friendly and some English was helpful. But in Madrid, although many know plenty of English, they rightfully expect you to be better at their language. I hesitate because I'm uncertain about the pronunciation here and with only 4 days in Madrid, not much time for trial/error. Anyway, the pub is cool atmosphere, feels a lot like an Irish or English pub, some of the food offerings included. But otherwise, very much Madrid inside. I enjoyed sitting and chilling after a day touring in Madrid, but do go here and do learn more Spanish!

The staff were great. We were there during the day to watch a match. They accommodated us in the corner. The music was blaring over the match. I wasn't here during the night so the atmosphere could be fantastic. It wasn't ideal in the afternoon.

Stumbled across this bar, whilst in the search for another Irish bar. It was a lucky find, had a selection of chairs outside but as the sun was directly on us we wanted to sit inside and soak up the atmosphere. Bar staff very friendly and efficient and would recommend to other travellers who are in Madrid. They served a good pint of Guinness.

We passed sometime here today, whilst waiting for a late flight. The breakfast was awful & the Paella was ok. The staff were generally helpful and put the tennis on etc but did not care when I shared my opinion on the breakfast. One customer was looking for the hurling semi final and that wasn't available. If you're claiming to be an Irish pub then having GAA available, good breakfast meat would help.

Un lunes 22 de diciembre llegamos a las 8 de la noche nos sentamos en la barra, estábamos consumiendo, y nos encendieron el aire acondicionado en FRÍO obvio fue para echarnos del local, fue de muy mala intención, le dijimos al chico de la barra que si podían apagar el aire y nos dijo que no que habían encendido era la calefacción pero que va calentando poco a poco, estuvimos 1 hora más y nunca calentó , nosotros éramos clientes habituales, pero desde que tienen más latimos trabajando en el local se lo han cargado, aclaró que hablamos con el chico que estaba atendiendo en ese momento en la barra era un colombiano y los demás aparentemente venezolanos, y también nos exigieron que les pagáramos en efectivo y no nos dieron en ningún momento tiket aunque lo pidiéramos .

Awful experience, so not recommend. **edit - talked to a nicer waiter willing to explain and he said it’s manager policy. Not worth the frustration for such bad management - avoid. Not the place to come to watch a sport, staff are either very kind or very awful. TVs are plenty but the staff are infamous for switching TVs in the middle of matches or races. Came for F1 today, which they typically have on, before the large screen went out about 10 laps before the end of the race. The groups watching reshuffled to find a spot to still be able to see on the smaller TVs. Instead of turning F1 back on, they popped on the new castle match that wouldn’t start for another 45 minutes. When I went to ask, after the race ended because I didn’t want to miss anymore, the woman was adamant that patrons could adapt. I kept repeating, “I’m not asking about the current match, I’m asking why the race wasn’t allowed to finish for a race that hasn’t started” and just got a lot of “lady, you have that TV (small on above the door) or that TV (tiny one in their back corner”. Why did they change the TVs? 2 British gentlemen came in early to grab seats and asked about the match. Instead of letting them wait, they let the 20 F1 fans around the bar shuffle themselves around. Incredibly frustrating. If you want a good atmosphere where they don’t actively interrupt your sport (this has happened to myself or other matches/races almost every time I’m here), go to literally any other sports bar.

Awful experience. Refused to put on the advertised rugby match until AFTER kick off and anthems - showing adverts instead. Really rude and dismissive when asked. Poor quality coverage, on selected tvs. Removed all tables and chairs, despite place being mostly empty. Dreadful Guinness was the nail in the coffin
