Excelente restaurante japonés, especialmente para amantes de sushi. Carta corta pero con sorpresas interesantes, servicio amable y un sashimi sublime. No es barato pero la calidad que ofrecen va en consonancia con el precio. Un valor seguro y uno de los tres mejores sitios para comer sushi en Madrid sin duda. Se puede cenar bien por 40 euros por persona, algo más si somos caprichosos con el vino. Lo bueno es que pronto olvidarás la cuenta pero siempre recordarás lo bueno que estaba todo.

Para mi Miyama Castellana, junto con Miyama Flor Baja es el mejor restaurante japonés de Madrid. Sé sobre seguro que si como aquí voy a salir encantada. Producto de primerísima calidad, perfectamente preparado y presentado, servido por el atento personal de sala. El nigiri de vieira es sencillamente espectacular (tanto que repetimos), al igual que el de anguila y el de wagyu. El sashimi está riquísimo, calidad superior. El rollo de buey wagyu y los makis de atún picante con crujiente de tempura estaban también buenísimos. Y los postres deliciosos. Pedimos el helado de cerveza japonesa y salsa de mango, y el mochi con bizcocho de té verde. El servicio es estupendo; si dudas te aconsejan sobre cantidades, platos… Nos invitaron a una copa de un sake espumoso muy rico. Absolutamente recomendable.

Destaca la calidad y frescura de sus pescados. Una presentación de los platos muy esmerada, cortes limpios y perfectos. Todo contribuye a que el bocado sea un placer.

Muy recomendable! Es la segunda vez que voy y se nota que el producto es de calidad. El menú del día merece mucho la pena. Volveré pronto seguro.

Stumbled upon this great restaurant after a fun day of shopping in Madrid; so glad I did too! The food was incredible - had the salmon and tuna belly nigiri and a few rolls. The service outstanding and the only regret was that I didn’t find it sooner! Mavic and Keila not only gave above and beyond service, but made me feel at home. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back on my next trip.

Had an outstanding dinner at MIYAMA Castellana—easily one of Madrid’s best modern Japanese spots. The star was the black cod: perfectly caramelised miso glaze, silky flakes that melted on the tongue, and a clean, lingering finish that made us go quiet mid-conversation. Everything else impressed too: pristine sashimi, light-as-air tempura, and thoughtfully balanced sauces. Service was spot-on—warm, attentive and well-timed without ever hovering—and they offered smart suggestions on both sake and wine pairings. The room feels sleek yet comfortable, the pacing was flawless, and the attention to detail (from plating to tea service) showed real craft. Prices felt fair for the quality, and we left already planning our next visit. If you go, don’t miss the black cod—it’s worth the trip on its own.

As advertised. This place did not disappoint. Sashimi, maki, tempuras etc. were fresh and skilfully prepared. Sake and wine menu were bountiful. The suprise highlight, however, was the simple grilled eggplant with red miso paste. Just divine. Service was professional and friendly, albeit they keep forgetting to refill our water since they were so busy. Cake with candle request was easily catered for with no fuss. A class act in every sense of hospitality. Arigato gazaimas.

Pedimos un menú degustación para dos que nos prepararon sobre la marcha y en base a recomendaciones. Sabores sorprendentes y un servicio muy cuidado donde te explicaban cada plato y te trataban muy bien. El sabor de alguno de los platos era inferior a las expectativas que teníamos y no estaba justificado con el precio que tenían, pero en general una buena experiencia. Eso si, 55€ por persona

Some of the things were really good such as the scallops, the spicy tuna tartar and the desserts; however, others were not up to standards like the king crab and the toro. Overall experience was good.

La comida es de muy buena calidad pero si no ponen más gente en el servicio, se hace lento y tardan mucho en servir. Pidan la carne wagyu, está muy buena. Creo que se puede tener mejor experiencia por el precio; fueron 190 euros.

Buen servicio y experiencia correcta en general. El personal fue muy atento y se esforzó en entendernos en todo momento, lo cual se agradece. La calidad del producto es buena, con sabores bien trabajados y presentación cuidada. Sin embargo, en mi opinión, las raciones son algo escasas en relación con el precio, lo que afecta a la percepción global. Tuvimos un pequeño problema puntual con uno de los platos, que fue solucionado correctamente por el personal. En conjunto, una experiencia sin grandes sorpresas. Personalmente, no es un sitio al que tenga previsto volver, aunque puede encajar para quien priorice el trato y la calidad del producto.

my family and I have been coming to this place regularly in the last four years. It used to be very good, friendly and a reference in Madrid. Unfortunately we learned today things are going pretty bad as the historical manager Edoardo is gone , the gentleman parking the cars is gone, of the 3 Sushi chefs only two remains but I am ready to bet one of the others will leave soon. in the kitchen from four people they are done to two. Some of the staff mentioned they are have not received their salary for two months. Sad to say but this is the beginning of the end. The food was still okish but even the waiter said not to order hot food as no more personal in the kitchen to provide a good service. Staff was pretty downbeat as they are seeing ruin arriving... sad for us as it was a great place but the owners somehow lost the plot and not paying salaries it is a very dangerous things in hospitality.

This place was good but it lacks personality. It caters to an executive type of diners. The food was good and their lunch menu wasn't too expensive. But there are more vibrant places (Santoku 😉) on this budget. It felt as if though the staff were the ones filling the place and not the other guests. The timing of the servers wasn't all that good either. They removed the plates too quickly and were a bit invasive. On a positive note. Kudos to the waiter who modified our order for us. They could also use some fresh menus and good Oshibori (hand wipes). Their bar area needs a touch up. It was uninviting and cluttered. Unless you're in the area for lunchtime. I wouldn't recommend this place that much.

Tenía muchas ganas de probar la cocina de Miyama y sinceramente, no soy experta pero he vivido 4 años en Japón, mi experiencia ha sido decepcionante, quizás si hubiese pedido un menú normal habría sentido que el valor de la comanda era justa, pero al elegir una de las opciones de especialidad del chef, el bento Miyama en concreto, me esperaba más calidad tanto del producto como de la ejecución del chef. El espíritu de Japón que cuida el detalle y la perfección no lo he encontrado en mi experiencia en Miyama, y eso me entristece. Sí soy sincera no volveré

I recently dined at Miayama, and while the service was satisfactory and the food quite good, my overall experience was marred by an unfortunate issue: an abundance of flies. From the moment I sat down, I noticed flies buzzing around, which persisted throughout my meal. This was not only uncomfortable but also unacceptable and rather disgusting. Despite the attentive staff and enjoyable cuisine, the fly problem overshadowed the positives, making it difficult to fully appreciate the meal. Given this issue, I cannot recommend dining here until it is addressed. The presence of flies significantly detracts from what could otherwise be a pleasant dining experience.

Por un menú degustación Omakase de 100€/persona, esperaba platos más interesantes que "salpicón de pulpo" o "dorada a la romana". El plato de tataki de atún y la sopa de almejas con verduras han sido para olvidar. He tenido experiencias y platos más memorables por mucho menos. Decepción
