First time here and loved the food! We had the alligator bites for an appetizer and ordered the chicken strips and fish platters for our main courses. Drinks were good and fair priced. I just wish they had a few more severs for busy nights like Friday or Saturday but overall was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

NO ONE does crawfish like tailgators does!!! We get so so so excited once crawfish season gets going just to be able to come in and enjoy it here. We’ve tried from many, many other places and it doesn’t even come close. Spicy, flavorful, cooked PERFECT! Absolutely the best crawfish around, you’ll get hooked from the first bug. The gator bites are a MUST every time we come as well. I’m picky about my burgers and absolutely love their sliders here. Juicy, tender, and delicious! Katie took amazing care of us, definitely asking for her next time we’re in!

I really wanted to like Tailgators in Magnolia, but my experience left a bad taste — and it wasn’t just the seafood. I went in on a busy Friday night by myself. I understand it gets packed, and I also understand a one-top isn’t the most exciting table during peak hours. That said, I’m still a paying customer. When my server came over and I ordered an iced tea, she visibly rolled her eyes and walked off. Not a great start. When I ordered food, she pushed for the $39–$43 seafood boil platter (snow crab, shrimp, potatoes, corn). I declined and asked if I could just order two crab clusters and a jalapeño boudin link instead. She said she’d “have them write it up.” Here’s where it gets frustrating. When my food came out, I received: One full (smaller) crab cluster One half cluster (missing the large claw and one of the bigger legs) So essentially, I paid for two clusters and received what looked like one full and one skimmed-down leftover. Then I checked the receipt. I was charged $30 for two crab clusters, but when I checked the restaurant’s own online ordering system afterward, two crab clusters price out at $25 — and they come with the same spicy garlic sauce, no upcharge. No substitutions. No add-ons. My total was $45 with tea, and I left a $10 tip, bringing it to $55. I tipped well despite the attitude, but after reviewing the receipt and comparing it to their online pricing, something doesn’t add up. Between: The eye roll over an iced tea The aggressive upsell attempts The incomplete crab cluster And the $5 unexplained price difference It felt like I was either an inconvenience or an easy mark. I don’t mind paying good money for good food. I don’t even mind a busy Friday night vibe. But I do mind feeling dismissed and overcharged. Unfortunately, I won’t be back.

Let me start by saying Tailgators Pub and Grill has potential. Unfortunately, that potential was violently murdered the moment Crystal became my server. I ordered my food, lived an entire life, aged like a fine wine, questioned my mortality, and then—after what felt like half my remaining lifespan—my check finally arrived. The other half of my life was taken when she somehow messed up the simplest wing order known to mankind. These weren’t complicated wings. I didn’t ask for truffle oil harvested by monks under a blood moon. I explained my order in grave, painful detail. Slowly. Clearly. Honestly, I was one step away from hiring a courtroom sketch artist. At one point I’m convinced Crystal needed crayon pictures to understand what “simple wings” meant. She claimed she was “taking notes,” but based on the outcome, I can only assume she was doodling unicorns or writing her future resignation letter. And here’s where it really becomes performance art: we watched her taking shots with other patrons like this was happy hour meets spring break. So when my order came out wrong—and I mean impressively wrong—it made perfect sense. Apparently the wings were prepared using the same level of focus as someone trying to read a menu through tequila goggles. The food itself? Could’ve been great. Could’ve been legendary. I’ll never know, because by the time it arrived incorrectly, I had already emotionally detached from the experience and accepted hunger as my new personality. It often seems like Tailgator’s restaurant in Magnolia is on autopilot and in need of many adjustments. Once AGAIN this pub was out of Prosecco, champagne and Cabernet. Our waitress, who has worked at this location for over 10 years had no idea which other types of wine were available; along with not being able to answer basic questions about the menu. “She couldn’t remember” is what we were told. All she knew was that their premium vs. house brands were available. We asked what the price difference was and she had no idea, but said that the premium brand was $9.00. After delivering the premium drink to our table she stopped by later on to let us know that the price was actually $10.00. We didn’t hear sorry that I misinformed you about the price or I will honor the $9.00 price quoted. We explained that if an establishment is CONTINUOUSLY out-of-stock of the first two house brands that you attempted to order that they would offer the premium product at the same price. She simply shook her head to indicate no. This location was disappointing. The pour size of wine that you receive is totally at random and basically eye-balled by whoever is bartending. The woman at the table next to us ordered wine and the amount in her glass compared to ours was significantly different. We won’t return anytime soon.

Awful service. We sat in the back corner for maybe 10 minutes and no one came up to us. Pretty sure our server should’ve been the older woman with white hair on top and black on bottom. I made eye contact with her a handful of times and she just blatantly ignored us. I’m sure we’ll be back but there’s no reason a table should be ignored and have to walk out. Super disappointed.

(Usually I come with my company and we spend money!) but today I came and had 4 lemon drops and was charged $40 when previously I order 3 of the same lemon drops and paid $18.
