Me trasladó automaticamente a los desayunos de pequeño en el pueblo. Todo casero y riquísimo, en cuanto volvamos a Málaga repetiremos seguro.

Lugar con solera en el centro de Málaga, de los pocos que quedan. Desayuno 3.20 y te ponen el café y un cartón de huevos. Si, con lo que se puede ver en la foto: chicharrones, manteca, mermeladas... Todo casero. Muy recomendable.

Lugar muy pintoresco con una decoración estilo retro. Al sentarte y observar tu alrededor vuelves al pasado. Sirven un desayuno muy rico y de una forma única que no he visto nunca antes en otro local. Comidas caseras como en casa de tu abuela. Buen trato y servicio del personal. También sirven tapas y menús al medio día. Además, económico!!! Muy recomendable. Volveré sin duda.

Hay muchos sitios para desayunar en Malaga centro, pero si queréis un local "peculiar" y tradicional, creo q no os podéis perder la experiencia de desayuno en La Recova. El desayuno está bueno y a muy buen precio y el servicio muy amable.

Un lujo desayunar aquí, y muy curioso. Te tomas una tostada con todo tipo de sabores, zurrapa, chicharrones, sobrasada, mantequilla, 2 mermeladas caseras y de postre una fresa. Personal muyyy amable. Si vas a Malaga. Prueba, por 3,20€ todo

If you love tapas, great service and something quirky then this is the ideal place. Its like walking into an antique shop only to find a friendly tapas bar serving some superb food and drink. We had, Russian Salad, Anchovies, olives and flaming Chorizo all washed down with ice cold beer. Fantastic.

La Recova is always a wonderful choice for breakfast. I suggest arriving between 10:00 and 10:30 am to enjoy it at its best. The coffee is truly special, and the homemade jams are made with so much care—you can really taste the love in every bite.

The breakfast spread featured toasted bread served alongside an assortment of spreads and condiments, all thoughtfully placed in an innovative egg carton tray. The toast was perfectly golden, crunchy on the outside, and soft within. Mint Tea: The drink was a refreshing glass of mint tea. Served in a clear glass, the vibrant green leaves were both visually appealing and aromatic. The tea was steeped to perfection, with the fresh mint flavor shining through.

This place is amazing. Such an authentic and original experience, it’s a breakfast and lunch restaurant as well as an antique shop/museum. Food is really good and cheap, serving mostly local traditional recipes and products, and waiters are lovely smiling and friendly with every single person. It’s a small place so you might need to wait in line for a bit and the place is unfortunately not open on evenings nor on weekends, making the experience even more exclusive and special.

I liked the vibes in this traditional malaga restaurant. Situated in a nice area, they served me what they called a traditional malagan breakfast bite as shown in the pic. I do recommend you visiting and keep in mind that there is a queue but it moves fast.

How we stumbled upon this place I’ll never know but so glad we did. It’s quite a bonkers place in that it’s a restaurant inside what feels like part junk shop, part antique shop, and part ‘Berts’ store (shop in the uk). It’s weird but wonderful, the food is limited, more snack like but jolly cheap and lovely all the same. Definitely worth a visit as it’s so very unique.

La Recova. At first, it’s hard to tell whether it’s a small museum, an antique shop, or a place for a quick and tasty bite. It’s a great spot for a short break while strolling through Málaga. Friendly staff, a great atmosphere, and definitely worth picking up something as a souvenir.

What a little gem this place is. I ended up here three mornings for their lovely little toast breakfast and coffee. The large piece of bread comes with an egg carton filled with home-made spreads, both savoury and sweet. Coffee is excellent. Seating is inside an antique shop, so you are surrounded by all things vintage. Such a vibe. There is also outdoor seating in a little alley. Cost of breakfast with coffee is €3. Best spot in the Old Town of Malaga.

A lovely antique style restaurant. Very busy with a line in the morning. Lunchtime not as busy. Very good menu del dia. Includes 3 tapas plus bread plus drink 🍷 plus dessert or coffee for €11. Good service with the courses arriving as previous one is finished. Other menu options also available. Tables outside in the alley and tables inside also. Toilet is roomy and clean ( one only)

We had a quick breakfast in this quirky and friendly cafe stuck down a side street. It was full of locals, probably because they serve one breakfast for everyone which is made up of a piece of toast and a selection of spreads (sweet and savory) presented in a egg tray. Service was very friendly and you can buy the things in show too. Wonderful.

I like this little place full of spanish antiques that build a nice atmosphere on this café. I know that the egg box thing is what it makes it cute, but it can be a bit weird. Never thr less the topings to put on your toast and the juice are fresh a full of flavour. Well price. Go and give it a go for breakfast.

You must go! I found this place thru google, and I can say that 5 stars is not enough... It's an antiques shop where food is also served.... A visit is worth already, but... bonus, the food is special!!! I was there today and had the daily menu: tomatoes dressed with olive oil and basil, lentils' soup, potates omelette, and a gorgeous dessert made with yogurth, muesli and homemade marmelade... Very simple breakfast of toast and jams / pate. The jams were marmalade and apple (with cinnamon), the pate one was tomato no idea what rest were. It comes in old egg box see photo. Most very tasty but unusual for morning for uk palate. The orange juice was lovely and coffee fresh. We really like it and gluten free toast for my partner.

Lugar muy bonito e interesante. Te ofrecen una rebanada de pan y una huevera con distintos untarles para tu tostada. Lo único malo es que tienes que ir con tiempo porque hay mucha cola.

Como sitio totalmente recomendable. El desayuno especial con la rebanada más toppings de lujo. Y la leche con fresa típica de Málaga. Lo malo que, aunque entiendo el por qué, han decidido cerrar los sábados, pero hay muchas personas que sólo pueden ir ese día y no tenemos más opción. Una pena no poder seguir disfrutando de sus desayunos.

Very nice place to go and eat and enjoy the great atmosphere in Malaga. The place is very authentic, it is a restaurant that doubles as an antique store. All the rooms are all with lots of old features. The service was great and also the food, sadly there was only one kind of breakfast. Toast wilth lots off different spreads. And you can choose between coffee or orange juice. It would have been nice if there was the ability to also have eggs. I would recommend to go there enjoy the typical spanish atmosphere.

El refrán cria fama...esto tuvo su momento hace ya muchos años pero hoy día deja mucho que desear. El problema principal es el tamaño del pan y la calidad, minúsculo para lo que ofrecen para acompañar, todo eso hecho para tener que pedir una rebanada extra, además de muy fino. Sin duda no volveré a ir, una pena, otro negocio del centro que murió de éxito.
