I don't like brunch..... but then, there's First Watch. Oh my goodness, is this GOOOOOD! We started with the million dollar bacon and the blueberry and lemon cornbread. I can't say enough about both, but the blueberry/lemon cornbread stole the show. The flavors were well blended and the sugary and lemon zest crust was out of this world. My wife had the smoked salmon fritata and I had the strawberry 🍓 tres leches french toast. The frititata was - in my wife's words - to die for. The ratio of salmon to egg was spot on, and the salad was refreshing. For a healthy option, she said she almost felt like she was cheating. The strawberry 🍓 tres leches french toast was decadent from start to finish. The corners had the right amount of snap, and the strawberry compote was prefect. Service was eggseptional! Can't wait for the location in Waxahachie to open. It'll make me a brunch fan - for sure!

We found our new breakfast place and we could not be happier 😀 We were having breakfast at a local place in Mansfield that just got too sloppy and dirty. First Watch is clean! Service is excellent! We go to breakfast on Sunday at 7:30 am and have no issues. Please keep this in mind if you go at another time. We love going early and avoiding the crowds. Food is absolutely delicious! Highly recommended for your Sunday brunch!

My family and I live in Mansfield and have visited this location quite a few times. The food and service has always been consistent and exceptional… until today. I went in to have New Year’s brunch with my other half and son. Our server, Jeremy, “greeted us” with the most mundane, unenthusiastic demeanor. He never actually introduced himself (his name was on the receipt). We came in with our child (5years old) and were never given/offered a kids menu, which you think would be an obvious offer. We ordered our food breakfast tacos, quinoa bowl and chocolate chip pancakes with turkey sausage and a side of cheese grits. The quinoa bowl was good-LOTS of quinoa but very little everything else. The cheesy grits were lacking in flavor and seasoning. The real disappointment, however, was my son’s turkey sausage. The moment it hit the table I knew they were overcooked and possibly sitting under a heating lamp for a while, it was dry like jerky (Images attached below). The server who brought us our food was very sweet and brought us a new side almost immediately. When our own server returned he checked in with us. I explained the issue with the sausage and received no apology, no attempt to clear it away… no personality at all in fact. He looked down at the table, said, “ok” and walked away. Toward the end of our meal he seemed rushed (as if he was just ‘cut’ from his shift), dropped our receipt off and disappeared. The cheese grits and turkey sausage were disappointing but the hospitality was the most lacking in taste.

I love first watch. Today my server was a bit slow. It’s only me. I waited a while before getting greeted and I ordered water and biscuits and gravy and I was waiting a while for water so I didn’t eat much and the gravy got pretty cold. The potatoes were great the eggs were hot the biscuits and gravy were eh. I asked for 2 waters when my server came back so I didn’t have to wait in case. Overall it was decent just not as content as normal. And it wasn’t that busy either. Plenty of empty tables but plenty of work to do. And both servers in my section I’ve seen spending time sitting down or standing next to someone at the bar on the guest side. Not sure if it’s a manager but doesn’t seem like it maybe a coworker off and visiting. I’ve been a server and restaurant manager so I figured this would be a good review to assess and learn from.

First time at this location and well, the wait can be long, so make sure before heading there, to join the waiting list. I joined 20 min prior to arriving and still waited another 15 min or so, while people who didn’t join had to wait 30-45 min. My boyfriend got the chili chorizo omelette and it was pretty good. He also got the mimosa, which was on the pricy side compared to other places we’ve been to. I got the biscuits and turkey sausage gravy with eggs, which I had before. Still one of my go-tos. I also got the mint mocha iced coffee, which was pretty good and I don’t even like to drink coffee. Overall, it was a yummy experience.

I'd heard great things about First Watch and was excited to try it out. I ordered the steak chimichurri and eggs for pick up on the way to work. There was chimichurri around the edges of the container on the inside and outside, which caused grease stains on the bag. There were no utensils or napkins in the bag and some of the potatoes weren't cooked all the way through. The portion size for the price is good, but the obstacles to enjoying it outweigh that. Also, the city is thawing from a recent ice/snow storm yet they didn't put salt or anything on the sidewalk and in the parking lot. I almost slipped twice.

Small portion size on last visit. Food quality is good. Service is usually solid. First watch has been my go-to place for breakfast. On this last visit the portion size was not right. Either use full size toast or add another side, because the food to plate ratio on this looks rather light.

Carrot cake pancakes had too much carrots. Which is a crazy thing to say, I know, but it threw off the flavor of the pancakes. The mint mocha iced coffee tasted like watered down chocolate syrup. Nasty. And the million dollar potatoes weren’t cooked through. Other than those, the service was great and food came out quick. Love that berry compote.

I ordered the new Parmesan bacon dish. I found it just ok but very bland. Here’s where they could improve: needs more spinach there was more arugula than spinach and I was halfway through before I tasted the Parmesan cream. I added cholula to give it a kick. Didn’t help much. The bacon was plentiful but the bacon lacks robust flavor. It would have been cool if they used a smoked bacon and thick cut. I wouldn’t order this again as is. As you can see I left the bacon.

I used to love first watch, but today was bad. Checked in online with the system saying there was a 10-20 minute wait, checked with host and was told it was an additional 20 minute wait. Got our table. Waited another 10 minutes to be greeted. Ordered and waited longer for drinks. When the food came out, only half the order came out. Waited again for 10 minutes for the rest of the order. Food was the worst we've had at a first watch. You can tell the scrambled eggs were from a carton. The food that came out late was cold. Bacon was BURNED and super greasy. Yes bacon is greasy but this was beyond normal. Toast that wasn't toasted. Waffle was under cooked. Potatoes that tasted like the dirty grill they were cooked on and under cooked. Server never checked on us. Had to flag someone down to get refills on drinks. The restaurant was so loud we couldn't have a conversation. Couldn't hear anything the server said. Overall a very poor experience and won't be going back.

My sister and I arrived at the restaurant at 1 o'clock by 2 we still have not received our sandwich. When we ask about our sandwich, it was brought to our table slammed on our table by the girl in the bright pink hair. I asked to speak with the manager she said I am the manager I said can I ask why it took an hour to get a sandwich she said mistakes happen and it was only 49 minutes lady. A a few more words were exchanged but at the end I just asked for the corporate phone number. She said it's a public number look it up yourself I did and wrote two reviews. Please do not visit this restaurant unless you want the worst customer service ever. The only shining light was our sweet little waitress that was hung out to dry. We did leave her a tip.

Quality has gone down hill Fort Worth locations are better. Apps came with the food 1 min apart. Server was super busy so couldn't get to us. Hope management can help get support for staff. Wish food was of higher quality control. Low quality
