What can I say...I saw the sign for Pizzeria Ristorante Marechiaro and rushed in, and I wasn't wrong because it's a guarantee of quality, courtesy, and a warm welcome. The owners are extremely kind, the staff is excellent, professional, and always ready to joke with the kids. The incredible selection of pizzas took me back to my favorite times at Pizzeria Marechiaro in Cremona. But the restaurant also caters to everyone with generous portions. Very spacious and spotlessly clean (I apologize because the kids ran around the Palazzo Te park and made a mess, but I only realized it later). Outdoor dining is available during warmer months. The bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, very close to Palazzo Te and on the road that leads to the city center with a pleasant walk. The prices are fair and not at all expensive. I highly recommend it for a stop that won't disappoint.

Very nice restaurant just steps from Palazzo Té. The food was excellent, we had delicious gnocchi alla Sorrentina and it was very cheap, especially considering the location. Service wasn't prompt, but they were busy setting up tables for the evening, which was understandable given that we went right before closing time.
We dined at the Marechiaro pizzeria and restaurant in Mantua before a show at Palazzo Te. Located in a quiet area of the city center, the restaurant is easily accessible on foot from the main parking lots. As soon as we entered, we were struck by the truly intriguing wood-fired pizza oven. We were escorted to our table, located on a charming outdoor veranda, which closes in at nightfall, allowing you to dine under the stars or in the splendid light of the sunset. Inside, the restaurant offers tables in a classic yet elegant and well-organized setting. Enthralled by the charm of the wood-fired oven, we chose to try two pizzas: a prataiola with arugula and wild mushrooms, and a salmon pizza. Both pizzas were delicious, with a light, perfectly leavened dough, perfect cooking, crispy crust, and fresh, high-quality ingredients. Definitely among the best pizzas I've ever tasted. If you're passing through or simply want to enjoy a truly extraordinary pizza, Marechiaro is the place for you. The service was impeccable and we will definitely be back to try other dishes from their menu.
Had an excellent meal there yesterday: penne with ragu was superb, slightly spiced swordfish with olives even better. Dolce to die for. Service was friendly and attentive. Recommended.
Marechiaro is a place located just steps from Parco Te, perfect for a pizza with friends at a reasonable price. One of their specialties is pan pizza. The crust was crispy and slightly thick, but never heavy. I recommend sharing it with 2-3 people to fully enjoy the different toppings. The seafood options are also good. The price may be higher than average, but the quality of the ingredients fully justifies the expense! Recommended!
Fantastic food and tasty beer
We dropped for a quick lunch on a hot day. Risotto con porcini, tagliatelle con ragu, calzone - all really good. Reasonable prices.

The food was good, but my only regret was not being able to try a typical Mantua dessert. The menu only featured the classic desserts found everywhere. It's still a nice place to refuel, and I'd definitely go back.
Pizze con impasto non buono era molto duro e gommoso, non riuscivi nemmeno a tagliarle e con prezzi molto alti. Da dire che gli ingredienti del condimento erano buoni, ma non basta
Locale molto curato (soprattutto la parte esterna), personale gentile e cibo molto buono, in particolare: pizza in teglia (non esattamente economica, ma molto grande e golosa) e dolci in generale (da provare la Zuppa Inglese e Mascarpone con frutti di bosco). Uniche pecche (e motivo delle 3 stelle) sono: il tempo di attesa tra una portata e la successiva (40 minuti per una pizza sono davvero troppi) e il prezzo non esattamente basso P.S. Uno dei bagni più puliti che abbia mai visto
Fantasy football dinner. The pennette was good, but the vodka wasn't particularly noticeable. The Marsala scallops were decent. I didn't like some of the pizzas I tried, but the Margherita looked good.

Camerieri molto scontrosi e arroganti, nonostante il basso livello e organizzazione del servizio si arrabbiavano come se la colpa fosse nostra. Sono arrivate tutte le pizze ma io e un mio amico abbiamo dovuto aspettare altri 30 minuti rispetto a quando avevano già finito (e l'attesa non è valsa la pena in quanto la pizza era molto sugosa), se chiedevamo qualcosa i camerieri sembravano infastiditi. Anche per quanto riguarda il bere ogni volta bisognava aspettare tanto. Infine, riguardo all'ambiente non è possibile dover mangiare con una campanella che suona ogni 5 minuti, è molto fastidioso
They made us wait forever for three pizzas, didn't even bother to bring breadsticks or bread, couldn't recommend a good wine, just adding the most expensive one to the bill, and the staff was old, outdated, and incapable of meeting customer needs. The prices were extremely high, and the location and food were absolutely unsatisfactory. Furthermore, on Saturday nights, which are supposed to be the busiest and most profitable, they don't serve "gourmet" pizzas because they're deemed "too expensive for a Saturday night." Advice: avoid if you can! It's all talk and no action.
Did you request and obtain the deletion of my review? Disgraceful and undemocratic behavior, I'm reposting it, albeit minimal in content but focused on the main issue: they served lupini beans for clams, and once I pointed this out at the cashier, they arrogantly and rudely offered flimsy excuses. Unspeakable. I strongly advise against it.
Fan pointed at the table, called by the table "the bug shooter", 1 hour for the pizzas, by the way, mine in particular had pieces of onion that shouldn't have been there, lucky for them I'm not allergic, decide for yourself whether to come to this pizzeria
