Wanted a quick meal and my wife and I were pleasantly surprised with the great service and friendly staff at this Subway. Every customer was greeted as they walked in.
This is a great Subway. It is clean with plenty of seating. The cool thing is the old building. The food was fast and fresh. The service was polite and good. I have gone back here over and over.
Ok so this subway was amazing in the sense that per lady inside actually cared for customers. She was giving informative replies to tourists asking for general help around. She actually served a family in need that arrived slightly after the closing time. Her gesture was well appreciated.

It's a great experience having a Subway sandwich in a place like Mariposa. Mariposa is quaint little town, quite different from your typical suburb or metropolitan area. This Subway feels just like a regular Subway in a regular suburban area or a city. So it gives you something that tastes familiar, in a place that may be a little strange to you (if you are used to city life like me).
I had some issues with the app and the staff were more than happy to help me. I ended up being 75 cents short and the employee bought my sandwich for me!! I almost cried
There was this worker named Samantha who made my sandwich so fantastic. She is truly a gift to this establishment 10/10 will be coming back
Poor lady serving was on her own and had a line out the door. She was super fast and gave excellent service.

This its great subway to stop at if you're liking for a fresh bite on the way to Yosemite or just exploring the beauty of the journey out west I would consider stopping here for a fresh choice to fuel any time

My family of four came in while passing through the town and although the place was low on staff, the one employee managed to make our meals very quickly. However, part of the restaurant seemed cluttered and was closed off to customers and it didn't seem like there was an apparent reason for it.
A little bit of a wait for the oven roasted chicken but we'll worth the wait. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere ensure that I will bring my daughter back.
I thought I would never step foot in this Subway again, but I am glad that I did the sandwich and the service was good. I had a bad experience here about a year ago service was terrible and the sandwich wasn't good at all. But that person wasn't here this time. Much better now!!
A good place to grab a meal on your way to Yosemite. Take a sandwich along with you and avoid the overpriced food in the park. New protein bowls perfect for those on a low carb diet.

Was there 5/13/23 around 430 pm. Service was excellent and they made my sandwich into a salad, which was AMAZING. The 2 employees handled the large crowd very well. Store was very clean all items were well stocked. Total for feeding 4 people was under $40. Almost unheard of to pay that little to feed that many. And it was delicious and filling!

Very cordial staff. On a Friday night it lacked the basic ingredients for a vegetarian. No cucumber or onion or tomatoes. But managed to get a 6inch filled with lettuce
This Subway was a little bit slow to serve and wanted to charge a lot more than most Subway's do for the same thing I order every time (with ALL of the cheeses). Food quality was good, Subway is pretty consistent fortunately.
Workers looked like they really didn't want to be there. They bag all your stuff so you leave instead of staying there to eat. Who cares though, it's still Subway so it was pretty good.
It's always so busy and I don't like that they offer online/app promotions not in store ones too. If it's offered online it should be available to everyone. Their cookies are really good but they're too sweet they'll make your teeth scream. Order time takes a bit longer than one thought necessary. Their sandwiches are phenomenal though, every single one of them.

One hour before closing the oven was turned off and nothing could be melted. There was no avocado. The guy wanted definetly home and forgot about the sauce. Very disappointing experience
This was 2 weekend in a row that the bread was to dried. We usually go early on Saturdays witch is fine. The last 2 weekend we when on Sunday not the same. This is in Mariposa
The only reason I stopped and diverted my way 20 minutes to go there is because I was hoping they had broccoli soup (it was 8:30am) they are supposed to open at 7:30 I don't understand why the customer service woman told me that I still had to wait 30 more minutes. This is a quick reminder that in the mornings it is cold and the broccoli soup is something delicious that is enjoyed in this type of weather, I recommend that it become one of the priorities because I suppose that while the rest of the kitchen is organized in the morning they can heat the soup so that it is ready for people like me who arrive early.

My sandwich was so small for the price I should have just went somewhere else. I am extremely disappointed with the sandwich and service provided. They tried to rush my husband when making sandwiches. I can say that they have lost my business..

Outside there is a sign “New owner, new attitude”. I don’t know what does this means because the attitude of the employer couldn’t be worse. When we came in he had to do a big order, he didn’t say a word, and after waiting 10 minutes we left the place because we couldn’t order anything! Good luck with this attitude!
Horrible customer service. Showed up on a Sunday at 4:30 pm and met two workers who obviously didn't like their job. I was the only customer and it took them several minutes before asking me for my order. Critiqued my choice of sandwich between the other worker also. During my visit, a local girl walked in and they treated her better and their attitude changed. After finishing my meal, I left while saying "Thank You." They didn't even acknowledge me. If you're a tourist on your way to YNP, visit some of these other local small owned restaurants who actually care about their business, service, and reputation.
11/13/22 2:42pm ...yesterday we went and bucked up oak, split and loaded for a elder; REALLY didnt charge for the work we did,so more of a favor, we got paid 40 bucks for lunch, so I guess we did charge ;) ..IDK if I should take it personal that the guy sliced avacacodo peels in my sanchwhich, $42.76 it cost us not including gas to go have a professional make us sandwhiches as our reward of our efforts of serving a elder, I expect what Id give and I wouldnt of did that to customer I should recoginze at this point, SO YES I AM UPSET my gourmet sandwhich had a avacodo peel that need to be picked out of my mouth with EVERY BITE
Went here for a sandwich and they only had wheat bread left, only two types of chips to choose from, soggy vegetables that we're nearly gone. Mind you this was at 3:30 in the afternoon. Employees here hate their jobs and you can tell by their customer service.

I love subway but there sign said open at 8 am and it's 9:38 am, there girl came outside and said it will still be a 15 min wait since she was the only one there. I asked to use the restroom and she said they were not working and hung up .
Very bad customer service on a Sunday night. I went in 10 mins before closing and I could clearly see the disappointment on the employees face. The employee made very bad subs as she did not even spread out the veggies and sauces on 12’ foot subs until I mentioned it to her. Very unwelcoming service. Management should consider training the employees to treat customers better regardless of the hour. Even the subs tasted very stale and bad. I would probably give negative stars if possible.
Went in for dinner after a long day of hiking. Ordered a sweet onion teriyaki wrap and Kids plain turkey sub meal. Girl working tells me the total is $29.00! What??!?? The wrap is like 13 bucks (which is still crazy), and the kids meal (sub, apple sauce, drink) is 5.99. How is that $29.00 ???? She insisted after arguing for the better part of 10 mins that the kids meal was an "add on". So 6 bucks for apple sauce and drink, plus the price of the plain turkey sandwich. What?!? No willingness to help, or make things right. I told her to keep her food. Left with a super disappointed 4 year old, and went and enjoyed an awesome dinner at Castillo's much cheaper than what I was going to be ripped off here for. One of the worst customer experiences I have had in a long time. I would avoid, don't waste your time! Too many other good local options nearby. (BTW, the ice cream next door is amazing)
This place is worst. The employees really didn’t wanted to help. I haven’t had any such experience in any of the food chains ever. This is the customer service which i can not think of anytime. All the things which i wanted to order were out of stock or the employees didn’t bother to refill. As soon as i told that i wanted to order 10 foot longs, i can see the disappointment on their face. The reaction was like we need to make 10 foot longs. So they started saying no for most of the things. I ended up getting order of 3 foot longs as the town didn’t had any vegetarian options & we consider getting frozen food from Pioneer groceries shop around and consume it. I would definitely raise a concern to management to at least consider training the employees properly. Thats not the customer experience anyone wishes.

Ordered online arrived 20 minutes later to pick up ONE sandwich and then waited another 25 minutes for the ne'er do well to finally discover the online order and prepare the sub. Maybe "new management" should put in a little counter time in order to get this place operating like a real subway shop, not another slow, sloppy, indifferent fast food catastrophe. Until things change, an hour wait at happy burger is refreshing compared to this place.
I have visited the shop 3 times now figuring 3rd times the charm. No charm there. Service was nothing special. And I swear they are using rancid meats. Everytime I've ordered my regular sandwich there is an off taste to it. I think they should check their cooler Temps. Or practice safe food service standards. The cooler in front should be checked many times during a shift. Not sure they are on top of their game.
The staff is friendly and the food is fresh. Get your food to go though for now. The air conditioning in this place has been down for most of the summer and it's excruciatingly hot in this establishment. I feel aweful for the employees that have to endure these kind of working conditions. The appliances are being overworked by the excessive indoor heat too. They have to lower the temp on the counter refrigerator so low to compensate for the place overheating that the veggie bins are frozen. I've been in there twice this week and couldn't even get food because it's so hot in there. I usually would eat there, but not in this heat. No point in sitting there sweating while I eat. I chose to go elsewhere for a cool and refreshing indoor dining experience, you may want to as well.
Would be ok if they had an employee capable of reading direction and making order correct . Don't think I have had an order made correct in the last 4 months . No more subway . Or get robots these people are not smart enough
