Had an excellent evening meal out with my mom and Aunt, and we had the added delight of having Jill as our waitress. She was extremely kind, made fun banter with us (which is a sure fire way to get on our good side), and took such great care of us! Applebee’s is lucky to have her!

I just ate here, and I have to say it is now my new favorite restaurant. The food came out surprisingly quickly and was cooked to perfection. The service was tremendous. Everyone I came in contact met me with a smile and seemed eager to help. My server, Brenda, was an all star. When it came time to order she pulled up a chair at my table and pointed out numerous menu items that she thought I might enjoy. I chose the brunch burger and it was amazing. After the food arrived she was constantly checking in on me to make sure I didn’t need anything else or crack a quick joke. I will definitely be going back soon.

I've had Applebee's multiple times in the past, and it's never been a good experience. That said, our experience at the Marshall, MI Applebee's was nothing short of phenomenal. The food was delicious. The waitress was friendly, fast, and always had a smile. The price was quite reasonable (we did not have drinks). Overall, the Marshall, MI Applebee's has won be back to being an Applebee's fan! We'll be back to this location for sure.

I mostly wanted to comment on the service staff there. They were highly attentive they were super fast and they actually cared if we enjoyed the meal or not. The service specifically that we got from Carly and Jarrett over the last several days with excellent. There was another gentleman who when he brought out the steak he asked us to cut into it to make sure it was cooked to our satisfaction. Good job guys

Perfect Friday night at the bees. We entered the establishment with more than we had made a 9:30 pm reservation we had set. While we felt bad, the amazing hostess Morgan O’Dell welcomed us with open arms and ensured we could all be together. This is the kind of hospitality I believe should not go unnoticed. Even with a few hiccups she went above and beyond with accommodations. I would highly recommend this establishment, especially if you care about friendly service.

Applebees is a great option to fast food. I wanted fresh soup and a salad. Spent $10.05 and was very satisfied. Thank you for having fresh food like soup and salads on your menu. One doesn't always want expensive fast food thats killing us. We need more healthy options available around. Service was fast and excellent and my waitress was very friendly.

A very late lunch for us at this location after being on the road for quite some time, thus turning a bit sick, yet the waitress managed to get our order fast despite the rather busy place. We both had steaks with a lovely refillable and a non alcoholic cocktail for me. And yes, most surely we will return to eat at this chain - very rarely we had bad experience because of other bad customers.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. I had the Asian chicken salad, which was crispy and well-balanced. My food came out quickly and my waitress was as attentive as I wanted her to be (which was give me space). I also ordered the triple-chocolate meltdown that hit the spot alongside my cup of decaf.

I ordered the boneless wings which are late night half price apps. They were good and hot. I also ordered the small plate of riblets with fries. The top ones were hot to warm but the bottom ones were lukewarm to cold. I should have complained or something but it was after 11:30pm at night and they close at midnight and I was hungry so I just ate them as is.

I shouldn't have ordered from them. I took a chance at ordering something to go instead of going inside. It didn't matter, still messed up my order, food was ice cold and the gal that brought it outside to me was annoyed by something else when she practically forced my order in my hands and ran back inside!

Some peoples food was burnt, husband his order was given to someone else and they touched it and expected him to eat it? NOT! Waitress then asked well who is gonna eat the reg. Cheese burger? Not him, he ordered a vegetarian impossible burger. They brought him another one an hour later and I swear it was a reg. Burger again. He took it home to try and eat and regular burger again. Impossible burgers are pre formed and even all the way around. That is what I eat as neither of us eat beef, pork products or scavenger fish. Won't have that waitress again, or will find a different place to have our church monthly birthday dinners. Manager gave him his meal free, but still received a beef burger instead of a impossible burger.

This place is slipping bad. Both steaks cooked wrong, service was poor We both ordered sirloins cooked medium, one was thin and we'll done the other was really thick and rare. Some meat thermometers and a little training could fix that. Our server was obviously overwhelmed by her three tables. We had to get up and find her to inform her of the issue. Again, some basic server training would fix that. Overall, it seemed like the bartenders were the only employees aware that they were even in a restaurant. Everyone else seemed complacent.

Where to start. First off I stood at the entrance for 5min before anyone at all greeted me. Was at my table for 15 min before my waitress even came over. She was apparently new and no one notified her that my table was hers. She was sweet and apologized multiple times. Ordered a steak medium rare and it was medium well. Ordered bbq wings that were clearly not fresh and microwaved. Over all not a good experience but the bubbly personality of my waitress when she was made aware of me was wonderful she was the only reason I stayed and finished my meal.

Grilled chicken SIGNIFICANTLY overcooked. Terrible service. We have had great service here in the past- this was NOT THAT. Drinks sat empty half the time we were eating. I am not picky & very and understanding, but this was BAD.

First time we at there it was good so 2nd time ordered the same thing … beef nachos. Sub par half thrown together and cheese scarce and unmelted . Husbands quesadillas cheese was unmelted and they were served cold . Waitress seemed like she could care less that the food wasn’t hot and that we barely ate it. But since we always tip 20 percent I guess there’s no incentive to anything but the bare minimum . We will go elsewhere next time we visit Marshal: eating out these days is as much of a gamble as going to the casino lol .

I am here right now. Food was sub average. Order was not what we asked for. My food was undercooked and half of my daughters meal wasnt even made. Her mac and cheese tasted like plastic. Management was very good as was the waitress. Kitchen staff needs major help though in the able to make orders properly department.

First Stop at this location, another try for Applebees. Sub-average food. Idk how they cook their steak but mine appeared either boiled or microwaved prior to searing due to its grayish tint under the brown/tan sear marks. Waiteress was very social and attentive. Tried the new double crunch shrimp for a buck, my opinion too much breading, and not fresh enough aka chewy.

Went for my birthday, took over 10 minutes for the server to even come to the table for our drink order. There were at least 3 servers and 5 tables, so not busy. We waited more than 30 minutes for our dinner and was never offered refills on our water. I was not impressed seeing all of the servers standing around in the dining area carrying on and not communicating with us if there was a delay in the kitchen.

This was my family's first time at this Applebee's, and we won't be back. When you first walk in, the foyer smells terrible, like old grease and body odor. We should have left then. Ordering went smoothly enough, but I should have been tipped off when the server was opting to go off of memory that we were in for some trouble (I get it... I used to he able to take orders from memory, too. But not everyone can do it and be accurate). Prior to food being brought out, I'd asked for a drink. The apps came out and no drink. Then the food came, and the server said she'd forgotten to enter my meal *sigh* but whatever. When she brought me meal (everyone else was finishing up their's) , I asked about the drink. I also had to ask for my sauce she forgot. When she brought the bill, I asked for the drink AGAIN. To go. She delivered. The food was hit or miss. My son loved his chicken sandwich. The pretzels looked overdone, but were actually delicious. That's where the positive comments end. The soup was not hot, the breadsticks were not melted (they were not cold, but not gooey at all. People that love their mozzarella sticks know what I mean), and the waffle fries no bacon had CLEARLY had bacon that was later taken off and covered with a couple of extra fries. I try to be as positive with all reviews as possible, and give places the benefit of the doubt. This place was pretty bad, tho. Which is unfortunate, as we meet my son's dad in Marshall throughout the year, and dine out every time. We'll stick with other nearby eateries.

We were told there would be a 30 minute wait and the place wasn't busy. There were 6 to 8 people waiting in the foyer. However there were more than enough empty tables. I waited so long to be seen that by time I was able to order, I didn’t want the food anymore. I hate to say that it was racial discrimination but it was others being assisted as I was looked over and the only difference I saw was race! The manager just took up for her employee instead of making it right and apologizing. I’ll never visit here again!

I'm a little curious about the $5 coupon when you don't see a manager, but I guess it's okay when she at the end and we are about to leave, she helps my grandchildren put their pictures up again, never introducing herself and the waitress had to tell me she was the manager. When I said something she didn't even acknowledge me, she held her head down. Why do you guys even have that? It doesn't make sense when you say something. Both the waitress and the manager isn't inclined to give you a $5, stupid coupon. I definitely won't be back to this Applebee's.

Dirty booth, terrible service. Server forgot my salad, no drink refills and charged me for ranch for my children’s chicken tender meals, they each got mozzarella sticks too, but apparently ranch doesn’t come with them.. Nice up charge Will not ever go back and I recommend no one else does either.

Had an issue with our order. The steaks we ordered were still raw in the middle when we ordered them med rare. Asked for the manager. The manager who's name was Brian came out to discuss the issue. He was very rude and disrespectful. He made the comment "It's always white people that look like you. You just want something for free." We put down the money that we thought would cover the bill and left right away. Called the next day and asked to speak to the general manager, who I believe that she said her name was Kassie. When discussing the incident, she stated that her manager would never speak like that to a customer and if we weren't happy with our experience we didn't need to come back. I told her that we weren't looking for anything free and just wanted to let her know how a manager was acting. She proceeded to say that I was lying and hung up the phone. Great management at this place. I can see why they have issues and the staff look so miserable being there. Just to be clear our server, I think his name was Montey or something like that, was awesome. It is the management that gets the one star for service.

Our waitress came brought us water and walked away saying she'dbe right back. We waited a good 20 minutes (please keep in mind only 4 other people were in the restaurant)! My husband tried to motion to the waitress a few time as she socialized with co-workers and we were ignored..... Finally after a half hour we walked out! I do not recommend this place!

Understaffed for hosting graduation night. Had to rinse my lime chicken in water because the cheese sauce was off tasting. Rice was dry as a bone. And cumin overpowered it. Didn't eat but a bite. If I wasn't an honest person I could have walked out without paying because at no time did server say she'll be back to collect bill. Found that out when we went to pay the bill at door.
