Awesome sandwich fast and extremely friendly service! Thanks Willie Moore
Absolutely love their bread always have!! I do miss the buttermilk dressing they used before in their sandwiches but still too much of a fan of their sandwiches.
Came in to get a to go order, was greeted immediately with friendly service. Ordered two sandwiches and when went to eat them found they were loaded with tons of meat. They were amazingly full, and more than filled us up!! Thanks for the great service!
Drove to Marshall, Texas from Shreveport, Louisiana, JUST to eat here at Schlotzsky's. I was immediately greeted at the counter by Breanna, with a smile and a warm friendly "Hello, How may I help you?" She then suggested a few choices and pointed out some newer selections on the menu. I was unsure about some sauce, so she allowed me to sample it before ordering it on my sandwich. I decided on the Fiesta Chicken (Forever my fave), with a few edits. She even suggested a cookie to me since she saw me looking at them before ordering my sandwich. The sandwich was amazing as usual. The restaurant was clean and spacious. I felt warm and welcome on this cold January night. All in all, it's a great experience, and I'll MOST definitely be back! Thank you for providing excellent service and AMAZING food!
I can't say enough good about this place. There was more meat on our sandwiches than on any Schlotzsky's sandwich I've ever had. And I've been eating Schlotzsky's since 1980. I hate to say it, but there was almost too much meat. The meat slightly overwhelmed the other flavors in some bites. The service was impeccable. The counter attendant was friendly, personable and efficient. It was good to be back in Texas and enjoy Texas hospitality, friendliness and value. Other Schlotzsky's franchisees should learn from this location (especially the ones in South Carolina). We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
I tried Schlotsky's again today. I have been here before on a Friday evening, hoping I could enjoy a $5 pizza as advertised. They were unfortunately out the day I came, so I had a sandwich instead. The sandwich was NOT my vibe - more bread than toppings in each bite...A little bit pricey... So today, I switched it up and ordered the sausage and peppers calzone. It is served with 2 sides of ranch which is generous in my opinion. It was delicious! Soft and flavorful bread, warm and gooey cheese, plenty of sausage, peppers, and onions - all of these flavors combine for a true party in your mouth! I felt like the rat on Ratatouille eating the grapes and cheese together! The employees are helpful and the restaurant is clean. I didn't have to wait long for my meal. I ordered at 11:21 and got my food in ~5 minutes. My meal was hot and fresh. I am deducting one star from the "service" category due to drink machine issues. One of the drink machines would not dispense ice. The other had a loose nozzle - it fell out in my drink and I got sprayed with soda/soda water. This location offers both dine-in and drive-thru. They have a specified parking spot for mobile orders which is nice. Overall, I would return here for lunch. Hopefully the next time I come for a pizza, the will have them!
The food we waited forever for was cold. They look like they hate their job which is a management problem. Definitely not up to standard
Staff were friendly but they forgot part of our order so we had to wait for them to fix that. They also forgot one of our drinks. The food was sub par. We had been driving for almost 10 hours or so and were looking forward to a good meal but my order was wrong, my daughter said her caesar salad didn’t taste good and on the original sandwiches had maybe 5 black olives on each one. Very disappointing.
Ok, I go to Cinnabon in Marshall and ask for frosting—girl offers it in two sizes—pint and half pint. I ask for a visual, so she grabs the pint sized cup and shows me. It seemed very small, so I hit google to very the size. I brought it up to the manager on duty, so he measures it and verifies it is well short of a pint, but tries to make the case for a full pint anyway. I choose to just make my purchase and move on, but I’m a little chapped I got shorted at least 4–6 oz. Also, look up the pint size frosting on the website and it shows in a distinctly taller cup. One saving grace here—the woman who helped me as cashier, Kennedy, was extremely sweet. I tipped her and she probably deserves more for dealing with me.
From walking through the door, several table tops matched the floor small tid bits of food scattered about.☹️ Since the new owner tvs have been removed with nothing replaced. Now, since November, while dining, we have sat in total silence or tried not to hear others' conversations. The care of the restaurant has declined emeinsly! I order my sandwich the same every time, and still I received it with onions! What has happened to pride in work and ownership?
I have been to Schlotzsky’s in Marshall on several occasions and I have to say it is a hit and miss. Maybe that is all fast food but I expect more out of a place that chargers so much for a sandwich. It should be the best sandwich I have even eaten and sadly most of the time it is not. Today I got breakfast. This is only the third time I have done so at this location. Breakfast is priced better than lunch but that bland hash brown is some how dry and greasy. How is that possible? I have a feeling it may have been sitting there too long. The time before last I got a Beef Smoke Cheesy (my normal sandwich choice) I bit into it and most of the meat on that half came out with the bite. The majority of meat happened to be on the other side of the cut in half sandwich. To top it all off I had to hear an argument with the staff the whole time I was waiting on my food which was well over 10 minutes. The other thing that throws me off is you cannot choice a sandwich at this location. I will still visit from time to time but I really think this location can do better.
I love Sclotzsky’s but the last few times I’ve been to the Marshall location I’ve been very disappointed. I got a beef and bacon smokecheesy and it was so much fat in the first bite that I had to spit it in the trash or choke. This is not what Sclotzskys used to serve and I don’t know if it’s training the employees to trim the meat or corporate dime savings but I paid $11 bucks for a sandwich that is in the trash. That sucks
My first time trying Schlotzky's was disappointing. I got one adult sandwich meal and two pizza kids meals. The lady at the window gave me a bag and said have a nice day and closed the window, it seemed like i should have more but naturally I assumed that was it and I pulled out of the drive thru. I opened the bag and realized I didn't have everything after all. I sent my older daughter inside and she told them we didn't get the kids meals. She came back out with a bag. I opened and found that we only got the pizzas but not the sides and drinks. So she went back in and told them we still need the sides and drinks, and the girl had an attitude. It's not our fault we had to go back 2x to get items we paid for. Also, to add, they gave me the wrong kind of chips for the adult sandwich meal I got, which I wasn't really worried about, so whatever. That was just so many mistakes for one visit and to end it receiving attitude in return of kindly asking for the missing items, is wild. I was hoping for a better experience, and now to add the cherry on top, I'm late to where im supposed to be after this. Edit to add: me and my daughter had bad diarrhea after eating this... 😑😑😑
Went through the drive-thru asked for a small smoked turkey combo with black pepper chips and a coke. Repeated it to the worker because they didn’t hear me the first time. Drove home and had a veggie sandwich and no chips. Ticket even said combo with black pepper chips. Don’t know where the veggie sandwich came from. My fault for trusting them to get it right.
Bread was as hard as the table I was eating at! Took a couple bites and could barely chew the hard bread, left that garbage on the table and walked out!! I knew complaining would end up with spit in my food or worse so I just considered my $16 lost and I just left!!
What a disappointment! We waited 31 minutes for 2 sandwiches.
There is a pole at the drive-through line that is clearly damaged because it is in the most idiotic place! I damaged my vehicle like I’m sure many people did before me because I ran into this pole! I will not be coming back! Great way to lose a customer for life ❌
I placed a delivery order through Schlotzky’s website for a smoked cheesy chicken sandwich with jalapeño cheese bread. After waiting 45 minutes, my order finally arrived… completely wrong. I called the location to get it fixed, and not only was I told I had to drive up there myself to correct their mistake, but the first employee I spoke with hung up on me mid-explanation. That’s not just bad service, that’s downright disrespectful. Now, imagine if I didn’t have a car. I ordered through DoorDash for a reason.. convenience. Instead, I ended up wasting time, gas, and $10 in delivery fees and tips for an order I didn’t even get to enjoy the way I intended. And no compensation or apology? Just “come get it yourself”? Absolutely unacceptable. Bottom line: poor customer service, no accountability, and a total disregard for the customer experience. Do better, Schlotzky’s.
Awful experience. I went for the $5 pizza after 4pm deal, ordered two pizzas and a side salad. The cashier said $34, then had difficulty changing it to the appropriate price once I had corrected him. After I ordered, my friend would have liked to order as well, but the cashier disappeared into the kitchen without a word for 20 MINUTES! Fast forward to a total elapsed time of 45 minutes, I finally got my 2 pizzas and had to remind the cashier that I had paid for a side salad as well, then had to look at the menu so that I could verify to the schlotzkys employee what dressing went on the greek salad. The food was good, but it in no way made up for the horrendous customer service.
My family and I were passing through and stopped at your restaurant at around 7:50pm today. The hours on the door said 10-9. When we walked in the chairs were on the tables. So, we asked if they were closing. The man behind the counter told us the dining area was closed, but he then told us we could come in and eat anyway. It was weird. He seemed upset that we were there and proceeded to ignore us for few minutes until I finally got fed up and left. I don’t know what the deal was. I’ve checked your website and couldn’t find where I screwed up reading the hours that were posted, or missed some other clue. I figured management would want to know about this behavior. If I am wrong feel free to contact me and let me know.
Every single time, I ask for a sandwich with no veggies. In return, I get vegetables. Every time. Oh look, there’s some olives. Must not be a vegetable, according to these folks. Oh, you don’t want veggies? I guess we will not put mustard or the sauce on, either! Pure incompetence. Ever since they opened, 20+ orders. Barely one of them is correct. The most egregious one was actually correct on toppings, except they cut it wrong. A small 1/3 piece and a big 2/3 piece. I’ve never come across a fast food place that intentionally messes up an order so consistently. I’m in awe, at this point.
