Stopped here twice while traveling through NY. Staff is awesome. Food is fresh and tastes great. Store is clean. This is how all Subways should be. Glad we found it and hope to visit again soon.

Very nice owner and employees! Frequented this shop years ago on a regular basis dropping in to get my grandson a snack on the way to baseball practice. Stopped in yesterday and we were remembered and greeted like old friends! Fresh and delicious food.

Extremely clean and organized. All of the produce is fresh and the work station behind the counter is spotless. Staff are very pleasant and practice good hygiene. I hope management appreciates their workers!

As quick and efficient as the other subways, prices seem the same. The food is prepared quick and as expected. This Subway is smaller than most others from around the capital district and the parking lot is small as well but it's centrally located near Albany and off a main roadway.

I go out of my way, past a closer Subway, to eat at this one in Menands. The store is clean, and the staff is pleasure to deal with every time I am there for lunch. For an event at my home, I ordered 4 sub platters, and several guests at home mentioned that it was the nicest looking platter they had seen. Literally looked right out of a Subway commercial. Perfectly placed tomatoes and toppings. It is rare to find these days, but the staff actually takes pride in their work and it shows!!!

Always a pleasant welcome when you enter. And really quick at their work too unlike some other Subway restaurants. Of course, the food too tastes good plus they let you customize it and follow every instruction to the dot. 👍🏼👍🏼

Since new management this subway is absolutely terrible, especially for online orders. Always forget half of the stuff I order.

You never know if they're open, just because the open sign is on does not mean they're open.

They don’t carry veggie patties anymore. New management sucks

*Update*: Place was sold to new owner and is now TERRIBLE. The store is always closed during business hours. Door reads "closes at 9 every night," but will often close at random times long before 9. For example, closed down at 7:45 tonight. Went from 5 stars to 1 star. *Previous ownership*: The best Subway in the country, hands down. Immaculate, food prep by the book, attention to detail. Everything is perfect. The same two people have been running the store for over a decade, day in and day out, and they are amazing.

We showed up at 8:12 PM for our dinner that was never to be had because they were not open but better yet cleaning up so they could go home leaving me without my foot-long.

Greeted upon entrance by a woman who appears to not enjoy being there with, "Just to let you know we don't accept coupons." Had she not been so snotty, I would have ordered anyway. I left instead.

A BIG THANK YOU TO PREVIOUS OWNER, RAJ! THE WERE THE BEST! WE MISS YOU! This place sucks now! Service sucks, attitude sucks, food sucks! My sandwich was a sloppy mess that I had to eventually request a fork to eat it with. It's very sad to see this, once, gem of a Subway fall so far so fast. Needless to say I won't be back.

I've been frequenting this Subway shop since about 1997. Raj and Mita sold the place suddenly, about two months ago, after almost 40 years. It's gone from being the best Subway shop to the worst in that time. Familiar, competent employees have been replaced with incompetent ones and grumpy management. Today was the last straw. They refused to toast a sub with spinach on it, even though I've been getting that done since Subway introduced the air ovens. The sub was a foot long but had only half a sub's worth of chicken. The soda fountain has been down for over a week, so I had to get a bottle, which meant an upcharge. The total came to $11.33, which I paid with $20.35. What's my change? $8.70...??? Sorry, Subway, but that's it—I'm never going there or to any Subway ever again!

I have been going to this place sparsely ever since I noticed that Raj and crew weren't working there. Only now that I read these recent reviews, I am saddened to hear that Raj had sold the place. I can't say I blame them considering how Subway treats their franchise owners, but this is a loss for me. It's not just the same. They used to bake fresh cookies right before lunch, but now they're cold and hardened every time I go there. The lettuce I get now is occasionally slightly browned. Lastly, of course, it's just not even nearly equivalent to the friendly faces I used to see.

I ordered online , the food wasn’t ready when I went to pick it up. I ordered a tuna sub with bacon . The flat bread wasn’t toasted and the bacon wasn’t cooked. Won’t be going back . Especially now that I know Raj isn’t there anymore. ✌️ I see this Subway being closed within a year !

Cancelled my order 7 min after I paid for it and started driving lol without zero explanation. Very funny place. I’ll let corporate know about their franchise pulling shady things like that :)
