Cozy, tidy, and tasty drinks. I was surprised by the wide selection of beer and wine here. We just got an oat milk latte and cold brew but they had lots of good options. Nearby they had a fine dining room for brunch and dinner, which we almost ate, it looks very nice in there. Instead we ate at the pizza stand they have set up outside in their courtyard. There are several great pizza options that seem to rotate seasonally. Basically, they have a lot of ways to take care of your food and beverage needs. I was surprised and pleased to discover what they had to offer. I highly recommend checking this place out, ESPECIALLY if its a pretty day!

A true hidden gem in a small town!🤩 Cafe Beaujolais is one of those places you don’t expect to find, but once you do, you’ll never forget it. The food is absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The seared Hudson foie gras was rich, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor, and the Liberty Farms duck confit was incredibly tender and satisfying.🤤 And don’t even get me started on dessert — the coconut macaroons were hands down the best I’ve ever had. Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and not overly sweet. Pure perfection.❤️ From start to finish, everything felt special. If you’re anywhere nearby, this place is 100% worth the stop. Hidden gem, incredible food, and an experience you’ll want to come back for.😃

We ordered the Foie Gras, mussels , beet salad, and the duck… it was all super tasty. The mussels were probably our favorite. I had never tried the Foie Gras, presentation was fantastic. The duck was cooked, medium, rare, and the potatoes that came with it were served in a way I’ve never had.

We were driving by and unfortunately had no chance to make the reservation, but the option to grab takeout and dine on the magical backyard patio was even more desirable. Thank you for such a welcoming service and for that incredibly delicious food! Honestly, it was my first time eating foie gras out of a plastic container, but sucraface paid off anyway and I got no less joy for sure!

Cozy and Quaint. Excellent service. Good was delicious! The Duck was outstanding. The corn soup was bursting with flavor. The salad was fresh and flavorful, perfectly dressed. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious dinner! We loved sitting in the atrium versus the dining room- lower lights and enjoy the ambiance overlooking the garden.

Definitely dine here! The chef was amazing, the staff and service were excellent. The food was incredible. We came on NYE so we had the tasting menu which was incredible and the perfect amount of food, but I was super tempted by the a la carte menu as well. The A5 wagyu was maybe the best steak I have ever had, I could practically cut it with my fork it was so tender.

Favorite restaurant in Mendocino County. Fantastic food. Extensive wine list. We definitely look forward to visiting next time we’re in town. Check out the Waiting Room and the Brickery next door as well for breakfast and lunch.

We were lucky to find one table available when arriving later at Mendocino. We were super satisfied with the food and sweet dining place. The green mix salad, fava bean toast, black cod, and New York Strip were my personal favorites!

My partner and I liked this place so much we went there twice for lunch on a recent weekend trip. The pizza is absolutely delicious! They even had one vegan pizza option which was good! I also tried one of their seasonal fig and goat cheese pizzas. It's the perfect place to sit outside on a rare sunny day. Dog friendly also!

We sat in “the waiting room” which was a more casual part of the restaurant since we came with our little dog. We were still able to order food from the Cafe Beaujolais menu. The bar also has its own snacks menu. My husband and I shared the heirloom tomato and burrata salad and the Vietnamese prawn and papaya salad for starter. I had duck breast for main (medium) and my husband had fillet mignon (medium). Everything was delicious. The duck breast was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Parts of the fillet mignon were well-done instead of medium but my husband didn’t mind. The bar tender/server was cheerful and the service was great.

We ate here 20 years ago on our honeymoon and returned tonight 20 years later and they hadn’t missed a beat! The food, service and atmosphere were all 5⭐️s!! Strongly recommend the black cod, the salmon gnocchi and the caramelized angel food cake for dessert! Absolutely amazing meal!

This was the dining experience we were hoping for. Having a miss the previous evening we pivoted from our plans and came here for the final dinner in our Mendocino stay. The staff was fantastic. Kind, friendly, when they were out of a half bottle of the GSM blend we were looking for they had a perfect alternate recommendation. Knowledgeable, friendly, personable, just 10 out of 10. The food, we started off with a risotto which is a favorite of my wife and I'm not terribly big on. This dish convinced me I've been eating sub-par risottos, it was wonderfully rich and decadent. My wife got the gnocchi when she raved on and I got the steak au poivre. Cooked to perfection, smashed potatoes were fantastic. My only nit-pick and made me wonder if I ordered the right dish was the 'poivre'. I expected a decent amount of pepper and it wasn't there. However, I quickly got over that as the taste was divine and the wine perfectly accompanied it. For dessert I chose an affogato which is made with an in house vanilla ice cream. It was incredible and the perfect end to the meal. We had planned on going to the connected coffee shop to get my wife a latte but they were kind enough to head over, prepare it, and bring it to our table. Everything that went wrong at our precious dinner at Luna went right here. We will be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening.

My wife and I celebrated an early Valentine’s Day together at Cafe Beaujolais last week and it was fantastic. We started off with the crab appetizer, which was this seasoned crab on top of the fluffiest yet still crunchiest piece of bread you have ever had, topped with herbs. Unbelievable! My wife had the local black cod which was cooked perfectly. Generally, when I go to Cafe Beaujolais, I always have the duck confit, Because nobody does it better, but this time I wanted to try something a little different and I was not disappointed. I had the braised pork cheeks with polenta. Forktender perfectly braised pork cheeks, creamy polenta with a mixed of local sautéed black trumpet and hedgehog mushrooms. It definitely exceeded my expectations. Our server Maritha, was absolutely the best and the busser Oli was super helpful and attentive. I can’t say enough good things about Cafe Beaujolais. If you have not tried this restaurant out for yourself, you need to now, you will not be disappointed.

The wine list features many local wineries. The only disappointing element is the dessert chocolate torte, which tastes like a overly sweet granola with plain ice cream.

We got croissants, matcha latte, coffee latte, cappuccino. Everything was good and I loved their coffee blend as well. The matcha was good and not too bitter. One of the few places to try matcha and it’s highly rated at this spot and it didn’t disappoint. The croissant was fresh, buttery and crunchy on the outside. Overall we had a great time at this place.

We had an excellent dinner at Cafe Beaujolais this evening. Our waiter Isaiah provided great service and recommendations. We had the foie gras appetizer, bolognese pasta, and duck confit. The foie gras was as good as when we had it in Paris, just keep in mind its a single serving. The duck confit was superb! I've had it at other restaurants and this was the best flavor and execution of the dish that I've tasted. The bolognese was good but not great. We lived in Italy for a few years and the flavor was a bit off. I would suggest using less wine in the dish, the flavor of wine was overpowering the rest of the flavors. It wasn't terrible but not up to the standard of the other dishes in my opinion. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant.
