Probably my favorite bar on the planet. This bar is cash only, lots of fun, good service, and a killer view of the ocean just outside. Also, it’s dog friendly which is awesome. Every time I’m in Mendocino, I come here for some drinks and music. I love it here.

Spending an evening in a bar on a romantic weekend getaway was not on our agenda, but one of the highlights of our trip was stopping in for a quick beer to catch a little football. Ending up spending 4 hours here. The bartenders were friendly and made us some top shelf drinks. Talked football with some locals and my wife loved that it was dog friendly as she was missing our boys. Thanks for a great memory.

If you come here with a good attitude it's great. Best espresso martini. If you're coming from the Bay Area prices are reasonable. Also only place open late.

My wife found this on some list as the Dive Bar wth the best view in the US, so naturally we had to grab a drink here while in Mendocino. Definitely lives up to that reputation, great view facing south over the bluffs. Friendly staff with fairly stiff drinks. Pretty cool local vibe here, definitely not many tourists like us ventured in. They have an awesome miniature model of the bar that is stunningly accurate. Lots of great historical photos on the walls. Definitely the best place in town to grab a drink.

I've been coming here when im on vacation and its been awesome however we went in yesterday and if your not a regular beware because the bartender never even acknowledged our existence even though we were directly in front of him. He just went around us and helped everyone else. It was not a great experience we love this place. I must say I won't be going back and im sure they could give a crap less. It wasnt the regular bartender that we've had in the past maybe it was that but I dont know if im willing to be treated that way again.
