The food was really good The speaker on the window that you drive up to did not work so staff had to come out and take my order personally all in all everything was good will definitely come back when I'm in town

For the most part I've had good experiences here. They have the occasional deals (advertised on Facebook) that they always honor unlike other Sonics that you hear about. Out of the 5 times that I've come, only once did the food turn out way worse than expected. Depends on the cook I guess, but it's still been good for a majority of the time. Always size down on the ice cream sundaes and whatnot, very large portions on the drinks/anything that comes in a cup. Burgers, hotdogs, sides are all alright except the chicken tenders, probably don't get the chicken tenders.

Stopped in for a sonic blast dessert through the drive thru. Butterfield and a reeses blast. Really good. They were able to make an adjustment due to an allergy my daughter has, so that she could have dessert too! They were really busy, but even then service was fast and friendly. Would recommend stopping here.

Since my boyfriend and I have started dating this has been our go to spot. Mozzarella sticks and the corn dogs are fire 🤤🔥 but what really keeps us coming back is the Ocean Water 😍 since he introduced me to that drink we make it a point to go specifically during Happy Hour and get the biggest cups you offer with Nerds. That will definitely keep us coming back. Thanks Sonic for making us happy and keeping us that way! If I could offer one suggestion: please bring back the junkyard dog it is also one of our favorites ❤️ I gave it 3 stars on atmosphere because there is a large amount of homeless people who hang around the menu boards asking for money, cigarettes etc., If it wasn't for that I'd give full 5 stars 👍🏽

I love this place. I usually get pretzel twists or the iced coffee . The food is good but I would really just recommend finger foods or drinks . The meals are a bit pricey. Taste and flavor is great . The staff is usually precise and friendly.

The only thing that frustrates me is that it seems to me the people working have very little patience for listening to the intercom, and are rather abrupt and rough in answer to you having to repeat yourself several times. It's brought us out the wrong soda, and that's only after we had to order a separate one because she just added my drink to my mom's order even though we had two separate food orders instead of giving us two separate drinks. I mean how hard is it to ask us to speak up or turn the volume up on your headset? I work in fast food too and we are by far not the rudest or most complicated order.

And this was to be a large size" "That's not what you ordered" was the reply. Showed her the receipt, "Oh you didn't want cheese and the soda was suppose to be a large or the tots were a large too?" Pointing to the receipt, "This is what were ordered, so yes, no cheese, large size." Car-hop says "Oh, ok I'll get it fixed". About 2 minutes later she came back 2ith the large soda. Another 4-5 minutes later she came back with the correct burger. I inquired about the tater-tots. "Oh yea, they are coming" another 2-3 minutes later she came with the tots. Food was good, once they got the order correct. Hot, as fresh as any other good fast food place. Sonic is mine and my husband's favorite date night spot. Set up a laptop, enjoy a movie, yummy food, then top it off with dessert!! Also a super fun menu for kids of all ages. Lol.

Service is always fast & their soft serve ice cream treats are some of the best. Sit outside, in your car or use the drive thru, but there is no indoor seating.

Hit and miss with the customer service at drive thru, usually nice car-hoppers, food is USUALLY on point, never received bad food just really really long wait times even for small orders. LOVE Sonic! Their food is fast, hot and yummy. I took away one star for the guy who came over to our car asking us to buy him dinner. I got him a burger. He was known to our server so apparently he hangs out there often. I was happy to oblige but it was uncomfortable when he was hanging around without a mask talking to my children.

Love Sonic. Live over an hour away but sometimes worth the drive. Lemon berry cream slushy and soft pretzel sticks w/cheese sauce-👍 chicken sandwich-👎 was dry and crusty like it had been under a heart lamp for a long time.

The food and service was great. The location? Not so much. The menu voice boxes weren't working, nor did the card swipe on them. This Sonic definitely needs some TLC. Other than that, service was quick and friendly.

It's not your typical fast food joint; they serve slushies, blended coffee, hot dogs in various preparations and infinite drink options oh and let's not forget that you also have the choice of tater tots or fries with your meal. Also, they do have the option for you to park and order from your vehicle if you're not in a rush. They have the menu displayed in such a way that it's easy to see all the food choices and you can decide what you want without the pressure of having to hurry because there's people in line behind you.

Well, it IS a drive-in. They have great shakes and their service is very fast and reliable. If it's on theirwnu they have it, unlike McD's who don't have ice cream or their shake machine isn't working more than 50 percent of the time.

The service is pretty fast and the people are friendly. Some of the speakers do not work and some of the menus are not lit up. You need to hit the call button for someone to unlock the bathroom. The restroom is dingy and not lit very well..kinda creepy i think lol..but clean. Food is good and priced well. There's a outdoor seating area of you want to eat outdoors...garbages are usually full. I'll definitely go there again.

It was fast service and very tasty. We bought off thendillar menu and go the new chili crunch burrito things. They are very small. I was good with ine but my son had two. They were yummy and we were satisfied and ready to do more shopping. Remember happy hour is between 2-4 drinks are half priced!

I love the shakes! Can't go wrong with it, unless they forget a specially requested ingredient. Burgers are filling. The sides are as good as you can get them elsewhere. Wait time is a bit slow on drive thru. Definitely not a place to go in a hurry. Sometimes give me a straw when I also want a spoon, especially if the shake is quite thick.

They have the Bogo footling chili dogs again on special days and they gave us free cups of water, not like the one in Fresno that charged us for cups of tap water.

Food is good. Some of my favorites are the blasts and the cherry limeades. They even have them in diet .

I love this place! They have these frosty drinks that are so good they taste like real fruit. Plus I just love their sloppy hamburgers, and they have the best chili dogs. The service is so fast and the kids that bring your food are so courteous and friendly. I just love that I don't have to get out if the car. Sit right there and eat. Not drive through.

One of the thing I liked about this Sonic was that it was open late at night. We got their single hamburger and their double cheeseburger. The fries were pretty good but the box itself were they came wasn't full to where they're supposed to be. Other than that, it was a good late night snack.

The slushies and shakes are awesome. I would rate them higher other than the service is slow. You need to have plenty of time when coming here because it takes a while to get your food and drinks

Good food but the combos are never the advertised price. I like this place, but, they tend to charge you for every little thing. A 5 dollar combo can quickly become 9$ if you're not careful.

Merced location specific: They haven't messed up an order yet and we've been going every couple of weeks for a year now. There's something wrong with their online ordering system, it never confirms they got your order even though they have, so that's a massive pain that I hope someone will fix someday. Other than that and a milkshake story I won't get into right now, it's usually good.

They often get the orders wrong, I am editing to also add that even if you use the app and schedule a pick up time you may still have to wait. I placed an order at 11:30 am am for pick up at noon, I waited an additional 15 minutes for the food it was frustrating especially because I placed it before hand since I have lunch at that time and I don't like feeling rushed when I eat.

Decent food at decent prices. Knocked off two stars for the incredibly slow service and miscommunication. I remember one night when my roommates and I ordered from the car and waited about 45 minutes for our food. Understandable since there were five of us. Eventually, when our server arrived to give us our orders, she messed up on one roommate's order and just said, Oh well. So, we got out of the car and wanted to speak with the manager. The manager didn't do much. Service from then on went downhill, especially before closing time.

I've gone here about 5 or 6 times. Of these, at least 3 of them had my order either incorrect or wrong size given of sides or items themselves. The quality is good and taste is fine, however make sure to check your bag before you leave to ensure your large meal is a large or that you have the right amount of wings/mozz sticks.

My drink order was fine. The outside cleanliness could be better but my main problem was the car in front of me that waited a long time for someone to take their order. It's a drive thru. No one should have to wait that long.

Great the girl taking orders was polite and helpful. Its great that tgey have zero sugar drinks and freezes for people with diabetes like me. I havent had a freeze in 15 years until today when she told me thetes no sugar in side. Very nice people and helpful

The young lady was rude at the drive through window. I asked for ketsup and she either could not hear or could not understand what I was requesting. She told me "what, what's happening" so I repeated myself and she gave me the ketsup. I thought to myself maybe the fan at the window was too loud or she has poor people interaction skills. However my order was correct, the food was well prepared.

I've been to sonic 2 times now and both times I had to call them out because they would not come when I checked in through the app (have waited 25-35 minutes the first time an hour on the second time.) Yes food and atmosphere is good but that's no right to have someone sit here 25-35 to an whole hr especially when other people have already gotten here after me and left before me. (4-7 cars).

Don't have the bad tents up. The service has messed up a few times where I've waited 28+minutes just to get a refund. But when they get it right its good to eat. Definitely better than before. I even brought my kids. But,lol,we had to get a refund for the wait and the food was still wrong. But they are at least getting better.

Sonic- it's cool way of drive-in and eat. Kids loved it the way of ordering food. I would call it "laid back, lazy way of eating food" lol... other things the status of ur food... I just got the number 10 which is the ultimate chicken sandwich soda and fries. On the picture for the chicken sandwich shows a piece of chicken as thick as the bun but it turns out that it would have took 5 chickens to add up to the size of a bun. It was actually the opposite of ultimate. I would call this meal the number two because it was like shitt. It is almost the same size as a McChicken sandwich that cost a $1.49 and I just paid $8 for this worthless meal and now I'm still hungry. And now I barely have any money and we'll starve the rest of the day. Thanks Sonic for nothing... Update June 28th 2023 just got a slushie and the slushies are really good. I drank it slow and had flavor almost to the end.

I was so disappointed in my visit. They were very busy but I got through rather fast considering. When I got my order the fries were the worst fries I've ever had and I know that sounds exaggerated but it's true. It was like they had them sitting there for so long they thought they better throw them back in the fryer and try again. Half of them were beyond dark and half were soggy. I used to LOVE sonic. Great burgers with crisp shredded lettuce, plenty of mayo and soft, tasty buns. They switched buns, I got over it. Their tots were airways perfectly cooked and nice and hot. They started coming out colder, I didn't fuss. Over time I've noticed the quality slipping more and more. Just 2 weeks ago I went and ordered the chicken slider. Chicken leather is more accurate! Literally, the chicken was so flat and over cooked it ate like jerkey. Also the tots were hard and cold. Went again last night, swearing it was their last chance. Hot dog was cold and bun was slit on the bottom, causing all the toppings to fall out. That's when I noticed the pale color of the dog...I swear it was as if they took it out of the pack and skipped the cooking process all together. Had 2 bites and chucked it in the bag. The tots were colder and harder than they'd ever been. Threw them away. The final straw was the Blast I ordered at the end. Ordered a chocolate blast with banana and peanut butter cups, got a chocolate shake with nothing else. So, I'm done.

Got there at 1:58pm for happy hour. Drove into the stall and hit the buzzer. Didn't get my order taken til 2:15. Didn't leave with my food and drinks til almost 2:40. To top it off they got my drink order incorrect but I wasn't going to wait any longer.

I got my very first meal from Sonic last night. It was pretty busy. I chose to order from one of the stalls and wait for my food since I was in no rush. I waited approximately 20 minutes and when I received my order, I put it in a hot bag and when I got home, 7 minutes later, ZERO items were hot. My tots had CLEARLY been sitting under a warmer for longer than they should've been. The box was saturated in grease on the back and bottom. My double cheeseburger was BARELY warm and my cinnabon treats weren't hot either. They were still tasty but I couldn't believe I waited 20 minutes of my time and $20 of my money to receive food that had been sitting! I couldn't even finish the meal. The tots were not consumable. They tasted like old grease. Had to waste a large. The only thing I was able to fully enjoy was the Snickers blast... But It's hard to mess up ice cream. I'm sure the food would've been better if it were hot but I'm not chancing waiting that long and paying money for another waste of time. Disappointing. I was hoping to find out why this place is always busy but, thanks to my experience, I have no clue! 😩 I only gave it 2 stars because the Snickers blast was good. Otherwise, it would've been a 1.

Coney was cold. Bacon double cheese burger was cold. The drinks were good. We absolutely wasted $36. If we ever go again it will be for cold drinks, blasts, or ice. Those are always good.

Bad customer service since the beginning, as I pull up to the drive thru to order. Was not greeted properly or in a respectful manner, as soon as I got to the intercom and said my first item I’m ordering I was over talked with a repeated question over and over “anything else” “anything else” felt I couldn’t order without being rushed or pressured! As I stated that that was rude, and proceeded to to go the window to get my items and pay, I drove off and left for home and my burgers were over loaded with mustard and my cheesecake milkshake tasted like it only had sour cream, over all none of it was enjoyable, I’ve had sonic before and never had been this disappointed!

The food was worse than horrible. It was cold, I'm sure it was at least a day old. My dog couldn't even chew it. She spit it right out. 😝 And the worst part was, they charged my credit card twice for the same order.

I ordered burgers, two of them, one for myself and one for my partner. I open my burger to see 1. they added extra tomato, and (the bigger issue) 2. THEY FORGOT THE PATTY. How do you give out a burger with no patty? Just two thin slices of bacon and bread drenched in sauce? They were able to add pickles, tomato, ketchup, mayo, everything I asked for… but not the patty? Unbelievable. They messed up my partners order as well, gave him an ENTIRELY different burger. AND on top of that, on that same incorrect burger, they didn’t even remove the toppings that I specifically asked them to take off. Waste of money… retrain all your staff, maybe take them to the optometrist so they can see what they’re doing next time.

Got a sonic Reese’s blast and this how it came out definitely one of the worse experiences going there waited really long over 15mins for this definitely not happy with the service or the Sonic Blast probably will never go back.

Dont even get me started. I came to this location 2 times in the past month. Once, for the new grillos pickle seasoned fries and a dirty dr pepper. And another time for 3 simple milkshakes. BOTH times I have had horrible customer service and BOTH times were my orders inaccurate. I am extremely dissatisfied in this location and their customer service. They treat me as if theyre paying me. And I am NOT here for it. As anyone may understand the frustration of not only not getting what you ordered and payed for. But also getting an immense amount of attitude from the employees. I try to handle these situations with grace. However it is extremely difficult when i feel like I am being constantly looked down upon. It hurts my feelings and ego. Feeling discriminated against. Whether it is truly that, its frustrating getting these constant experiences. I really think we just need some new training experience. Please fix this sonic staff it is an embarrassment to sonic as a whole.

Worst service ever. The girl manager was beyond rude and would not help! App was not working, she took out her phone and said hers was and proceeded to tell us she couldn’t honor app price even though we showed our order. Used to be loyal customers, not anymore. Need new manager, she’s driving customers away with attitude.

Order a number 9 crispy chicken sandwich and pay $11.29 and this is what i got. Been calling the store for over 2hours and Noone answer. I just want to get a better quality of food when I'm paying so much for it.

Ordered a simple coney dog and they didn’t even put any chili, tried calling the stor for over an hour because I live far, no answer at all. And the workers were pretty rude when I ordered. How hard is it to make a chili dog? Lmfao

Ordered a Route 44 cherry lime aid. Drank the hole thing. Opens up the lid to eat some ice. Found dead fly sitting on top of the lime. Super grossed out absolutely disgusting.

They let us sit at the drive up speaker for a good 10 minutes before they decided to tell us they weren't serving at those speakers. The girl in the drive thru was rude as hell and wouldn't make me a mini shake because they were apparently out of cups. When I asked if it could just be put in a small cup she rudely said "no, but I can sell you a small shake". My fruit chili "pie" was 4 bites worth. Terrible service and terrible food. Don't waste your time or money.
