Excelente comida, si lo que busca es comida con buen sabor, este es el lugar. Es un lugar muy antiguo en el centro, no te asustes al entrar puede que te lleves una impresión, pero vale la pena comer ahí.

Diría que café Alameda es un must, aunque tiene años de servicio la comida es muy deliciosa, cada vez que vamos sabemos que lo vamos a disfrutar, un lugar ideal para comer en el centro si quieres probar varios platillos a la vez, las porciones son pequeñas pero llenaderas, la comida es muy rica y la horchata también

Excelente comida árabe. Los kibis exquisitos. Ya sea crudo o frito. El labne sin igual. La berenjena deliciosa.

A great spot for delicious Arabic food in Mérida! The menu isn’t very extensive, but everything we tried was amazing. I highly recommend the labne, a creamy Greek yogurt dip, the alambre de carne, and the quebbe, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive staff that provide a high-quality experience. Definitely worth visiting!

A local recommended us this place, and it didn't dissapoint. The food is really fresh and plentiful, the staff are very friendly and calm, the place itself is beautiful and has an old decadence to it. I highly recommend you order the babah ganoush and the cheese - it's delicious! We have already been twice, and will continue to return until our holiday is over!

Delicious Arab/middle eastern food with great prices in this old style, modest family restaurant. Good service but be prepared to sweat when it's hot outside - most of the time.

Este lugar está detenido en el tiempo, la comida es muy rica y especial. La atención es regular puesto que son adultos mayores los que sirven pero eso no implica inconveniente. Me encanta venir!

Un lugar con tono muy serio, probablemente sea el estilo árabe, ya que es un restaurante de comida árabe. El cordero muy rico, solo que con buena cantidad de grasa, no se si así sea el estilo. El café muy rico sin azúcar y el pan pita muy chiquita la pieza y fría.

Café Alameda es un lugar muy conocido en Mérida por sus kibis, especialmente los kibis rellenos, que son una delicia: crujientes por fuera, suaves por dentro y perfectamente acompañados de su cebollita, que realza mucho el sabor. La kafta es muy buena y bien sazonada, al igual que las brochetas de cordero, suaves y con un sabor intenso y equilibrado. Las cremas son un gran acierto: la de ajo, la de chile x’katik y la berenjena, todas muy bien logradas. El pan árabe merece mención especial, excelente para acompañarlas y aprovecharlas al máximo. El lugar es viejo y algo descuidado, y algunos meseros no resultan especialmente agradables, por lo que no es un sitio para todos. Aun así, estas carencias se compensan claramente con el sabor, que es el verdadero protagonista

Agradable lugar, el personal de servicio excelentes, nosotros solo pasamos por café y postre, y ahí si nos quedaron a deber... Pero si les doy una segunda oportunidad.

I had the quebbe bola, ajo, tabule, and pan arabe. They were all pretty good (the crema de ajo was delicious!) and inexpensive. Make sure to order some type of cream (garlic, eggplant, or yogurt) with your quebbe, because the meat can be dry and tasteless without it. My waiter was nice and attentive but then again, i was the only person in the restaurant at the time heheh... I would go back

Disfrutamos de rica comida árabe, me encantaron las hojas de parra rellenas, el tabule bien condimentado, nosotros nos sentamos en la parte de atrás , está mejor ventilado. El lugar es antiguo, se ve un tanto descuidado.

La comida es MUY rica (kebbe, ajo, berenjena) llevo tiempo yendo… PERO, NO es para todos, el lugar es MUY sucio, los servilleteros, los saleros y los pimenteros, tienen MUGRE pegada de AÑOS y bichos adentro, la menta te la sirven sucia y la cebollla también. El mesero bajito y moreno da mal servicio. El mesero alto de canas, es una chulada de persona.

Tasty Kibbes's and garlic sauce. The Hummus had an old taste, they serve the pita cold and they could offer traditional drinks like yogurt & mint, rather than just sodas

The Arabic food is very delicious with good prices, but sometimes the service is very cold and you feel that you're not very welcomed. They need to improve that.

Only that I arrive cold, you ordered the drinks from the beginning and they never came and only simple glasses of water.

Original review was about 5 years ago. It was Great food and good Vegetarian choices. Everything was great. After going a few times it has definitely changed. Eggplant was the best they had. Many items not available and only 1 piece of bread in the entire restaurant. I felt sorry for the waiter having to explain that they have no food. Waiters smoking in the restaurant is a big problem. FYI

We've been in Merida 7 months now, a lot of people recommended this place as great Lebanese food but it's been the worst food (of any type) we've eaten since getting here. Lentil Rice - burnt. Eggplant dip - bitter and unpleasant. Pita bread - poor interpretation (more like a thick tortilla). Cabbage wraps - were actually dolmades, not cabbage, best of the bad bunch from what we ate but still poor compared to all the versions we've had around East Europe or in other restaurants in Merida. I've no idea how they have such good reviews.
