I tried New Cafe for the first time today. It was delicious! Very fresh food and fast service. I tried the bacon egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel it was $8 and worth it! The bagel was so good! It wasn’t heavy, it must be homemade because it’s fresh, soft and flavorful. I am so impressed by this spot I will definitely be back! The donuts looked AMAZING!
Am updating my review by adding what a personable place Towne Cafe is. I'm an avid road cyclist. Today they made me a delicious egg bagel sandwich to go. Double wrapped it. I tucked it into my bike bag, and 20 miles later ate it overlooking the ocean. Yummy! This is definitely my go-to place: the food is so consistently fresh, tasty, high-quality AND - the people serving you couldn't be nicer. Also, the prices are very reasonable. The owner and his very friendly staff provide their customers with a pleasant, welcoming and clean environment, too.
Mom & Pop coffee shop with everything and more to offer for breakfast and lunch. They are open 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm. They offer 28 flavors of coffee, from New England Coffee who roast the flavorings in, so no syrups needed! Highly recommend coming here versus chain competitors.
Was house-sitting near here and my friend said it's a must go place. And I will never get any other coffee shops sandwiches, coffee, anyting if I have a say in it it will be Common Grounds. The staff is patient, amazing, and knowledgeable. They'll suggest things if you're new. My friend I brought the second time I went that lives in Worcester area which is almost an hour and a half away. She is very indecisive and needed some coddling LOL. And again the staff was very sweet and gracious helping her decide. And listed so many options right off the top of their head. The conversations great the food is amazing coffee is amazing. It's just a great place all around you'll be stupid if you don't try this. And I don't even have to tell you that you won't want to go anywhere else because it will speak for itself.
We were visiting family and happened upon this place. The food and service were so good! I had the BLT with fruit. The sandwich was huge and the fruit was plentiful!!! My husband had croissant sandwich which he devoured! You won’t be disappointed!
I went for lunch, had a ham egg and cheese on a bagel. The sandwich was very good. The ham isn't your deli ham, it tasted like a home baked ham. The place looked very clean and staff was friendly. This is a great place for a quick lunch or breakfast. I also had a donut and it was nice and fresh.
Coffee was excellent, my bagel breakfast sandwich was cooked to perfection, and the staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful describing possible fillings. This will not be my last visit! Highly recommend for a quick fresh breakfast sandwich!
I’ve been searching for a breakfast place on the way to work and I highly recommend stopping by! It’s a short ride off of the 495 exit and way better than Dunkin Donuts or Andyman’s in Amesbury (which I know people love, but my in my opinion it’s unsanitary and gross!) they have lots of coffee flavors to choose from and a drive-thru with great staff!
I come here every morning and Sherry pumps me up for the day. Always a pleasant greeting and conversation filled with compliments and spunk. They all work so hard! And it shows. Definitely support this small business
I absolutely love this place. I have yet to be able to go inside, but I use their drive thru whenever I can. I am always on the road, so I don't get too much time to stop and eat, but when I'm in the area. I always make time to go to their window and get some food. I seriously cannot rate this establishment high enough.
Sometimes if they get busy they get distracted for phone in orders. However once there they are quick, friendly and the breakfast sandwich and burgers are decent and well worth the money. They are made fresh which makes a huge difference
First time I’ve ever been there due to getting gift cards for this place. Staff is friendly and patient and food and the coffee was amazing. Highly recommend. Even though not from the area will definitely come back
First time - Great breakfast, had a: pistachio muffin (best had in years, good flavor, not greasy), coffee (good standard coffee, hard to get better unless you make your own) and ham-egg-cheese breakfast sandwich on everything bagel (best had in years). Very pleasantly surprised, reasonable prices, very good service. Wife had gluten free breakfast sandwich, very good gluten free bagel (they buy, don't make themselves) good bacon-egg-cheese sandwich. She was very happy.
Heading home from an ocean trip. Stopped in to grab a quick lunch that we thought we would only eat half of so we asked for a to-go container but, it was so delicious we ate everything! When we headed up to the counter to give back our container the woman offered us some free doughnuts since it was the end of the day! Well thank you kind doughnut lady you made my day! Your food is delicious and you seem like a lovely person. I hope your business flourishes! 💜 🍩

Had a great experience as usual today! The drive through was incredibly quick, always great service and reasonably priced. I had a delicious gluten-free bagel, which is so hard to find! Looking forward to my next trip!

Used to be Common Grounds, was the town donut shop in Merrimac Ma. They recently changed to an everyday Cafe. Great Egg sandwiches. Nice to have a local place to have breakfast!!
Pleasant people and good selection if brewed flavor coffee. This IMO is very comparable to Heavenly Donuts quality but has a larger menu. Certainly better than Dunkin Donuts.
Great pastries and bagels and terrific service. It's a local version of heavenly donuts. They both serve New England Coffee, which is meh. I wish they would offer a super premium coffee like Intelligentsia.

Almost $5 for 3 donuts that seemed stale. It was our first time in this place. The woman who took our order and got our donuts was quite rude. I definitely will not be taking anyone (including myself) back here again. Do yourself the favor and go to Dunkins that's right down the street. There's also a heavenly donuts. Oh the six elderly people that were only drinking coffee made me think this is the only reason why they come here.
