Love this place. Great burgers and fries and the best spicy chicken sandwich in town. It's not really listed on the menu but it's there. I get mine with bacon, cheese, onions and mustard only...so good.

Best burger place in town. I'll take this above any other around. Big, juicy burgers, great fries and always fresh. Weird side note: their drive through speaker is the clearest sounding one in town. No ones mic is in their mouth.

Don't let the look outside and inside fool you. The burgers are delicious. If the vibe of the restaurant isn't for you, ordering to go or delivery is also good.

Good burger and chilled fries.

The olive burger is me and my wife thing. I'm 20 minutes. Away from mesquite. But when we come around there , it is a must. 20 years we've hit this place. And split chili cheese fries. And a large cherry limeade. There a lil pricey compared to sonic hint hint. Enjoy!!!!!!

So usually since it's just me I try and order extra items so I have several meals to last me. I haven't been to Burger Street in many years so I decided to give it a shot. Before I get into my food review I want to give BIG props to Vonda. She made my wait time really enjoyable. She's super sweet and very thoughtful while I waited on my order. She brought my drink out while I waited and kept me up dated on my order which didn't take long at all. From what I could see she was the only one taking the orders and cooking them as well. Burger Street you need to give Vonda a raise and let her train people on outstanding customer service. Now for the food. I ordered the double cheeseburger combo and for my side I got the Frito Pie and their pineapple shake. I also got a cold turkey sandwich and two apple pies. Sorry if you see my photos but I had to take a bit of each so I can give my honest opinion. First the double cheeseburger, where do I start, it was hot and juicy and cheesey and a must get if you like cheeseburgers. The only downside is that I ask for no pickles and still got them but not a deal breaker because I can always remove them. The turkey sandwich was delicious and I like that they serve it on a hamburger bun because I love the taste of a good hamburger bun. The apple pies are great as well and I asked for extra cinnamon and that made them even tastier. The Frito pie was delicious as well, brings back memories. The only downside for me is that it's a little salty but still tastes great. Now on to my favorite is the pineapple shake, it's s Awesome, thick and has a wonderful pineapple taste and they definitely use pineapple because it kept blocking up my straw LoL. If you're ever near the Town east area please give them a try and I hope Vonda is there to help you out.

I'm totally hooked on Burger Street's frozen lemonade. Seriously, it's a lifesaver on scorching Texas days.

I love going to this location the workers are always polite my food is always fresh. I recently ran into a new employee I guess named Chris M with two s's, he was very polite patient and I just feel like he deserves some type of recognition because it's hard to find people like that in the industry so shout out to Chris with two s's!!!

Great burgers and shakes. A little bit pricey but I have never had a bad meal here. I actually go out of my way a little to get dinner sometimes. Yes I think they are worth the extra money. I have never had buyers remorse . The burgers are big and juicy and the ff are delicious . The bacon on my burger was really crispy witch is unusual. If you are close to Town East Mall I recommend stopping by and grabbing a burger and shake!!

I’ve been coming to this location for over 30 years and the quality of the food remains outstanding. The burgers are always made fresh to order. I’ve NEVER been given a precooked patty like Whataburger continuously gives. This is just a great burger place with Yummy In My Tummy food. Mesquite Burger Street team keep up the great work. I have a big rig so I can’t go through the drive way, they were closed inside and a staff member saw me and opened the door for me, outstanding customer service and their Burgers are equally great! Super fresh super delectable been coming here for nearly 20 years and for me it’s never a miss

Burger was fantastic! Frozen lemonade was great! Curly fries are great and just the right amount of crunchy. Have been going since I was a kid and I am so glad it's still here and still tastes just as good! Service was fast even with 4 to 5 different entrees!

I'm not a big fan of the burgers, they aren't bad and I think I'm just very particular and snobby about burgers haha but I get curly cheese fries in a cup! That's my favorite thing to order with a side of jalapenos!! They have the best cheese for cheese fries 🍟 everywhere else just chunks a slice of Velveeta on some fries and microwaves it 🤢 this place has that melted cheese you buy in a big can and mix with jalapeno juice 💯 love it

Overall Great food. Never disappointed me personally. If you want something more tasteful than mcdonald's, this place gives a nice burger.

11/16/25 UPDATE- HELLO MANAGEMENT!! WHILE food is still good, in this economy, at 6:20,pm your parking lot and drive thru is empty! Staff needs to happily greet customers and thank them for their business. They seem half awake./This is my favorite drive thru burger! Also, the seating area is quite nice and you get free ice cream when you dine in. What's not to love?

Kept driving past this place, finally decided to go in. I ordered the #3 (can't remember what it's called), it comes with a double patty. Upon the first bite, OH MY GOODNESS! The beef was well seasoned, it amplified the flavor of the beef, it was not over salted it was just right. I don't remember what my husband ordered but we were both surprised how filling these burgers were, I didn't even finish my seasoned fries! I think they have complimentary soft serve icecream. Fast service, hot, fresh food, and wonderful atmosphere.

Burger Street is known for its deliciously cooked to order hamburgers. If you are looking for a homemade quality burger and fries you need to stop here.

Absolutely one of my favorite burger places. They used to all be great every time. Not always the case. However this location is consistently great. Lightly toasted fresh bread. Just the right amount of mayo. Fresh veggies and quality cheese. The curly fries were seasoned and crunchy. Not at all greasy. Customer service was also very good

I think I’ve written a review for this place before but it may have been a few years back. Either way nothing has changed, STILL the best burger, IMO, in all of DFW. And I’ve narrowed down the reason why, the bread, not too thick, not too thin, that makes all the difference. The staff has always been good, kind, quick, and consistent on the grill. I usually order the same thing, Bacon Bacon Cheeseburger, extra pickles, extra Mayo with grilled onions. Love me som street Burger!

Burger Street is the ONLY place I’ll have a burger. Period. It looks like they recently remodeled the bathrooms. The whole place was clean and the service was amazing. Oh, and free ice cream.

Burger is big, I cut it in half. They were slow and they was a wait. Overall the food was good. I mean its fast food so, of course it's not gourmet. But I'd go again.

This is probably one of my favorite local fast food joints! I love the burgers and the curly fries are delicious! I introduced my roommate to Burger Street tonight and she thought it was delicious, as well. The only thing that would help improve this restaurant is to fix some of the lights on the outside of the building. The signage lights have been burned out for quite a while. I feel as if a lot of people see this at night and don’t give this restaurant a try for this reason. Invest in fixing these issues on the outside and I’m sure you’ll see an increase in business.

Ordered Double Cheeseburger combo switched to large Curly Fries. Also changed drink to Frozen Lemonade. Also, ordered Double Hamburger no combo and side order of Tator Tots. For future reference, it's cheaper to just get the combo instead of Ala carte items. Burger was flavorful! Really enjoyed it. Tator Tots needed some seasoning. They were bland. Company uses ketchup with high fructose so I did not use ketchup. I wish more restaurants would avoid ketchup with high fructose. Overall, great Burger.

Upon first glance it really doesn’t look like much! The building looks kind of dated and weathered. However burger street has great food, the spicy chicken sandwich is FAR better than a lot of popular chain restaurants (Including chilfila, yes I said it). Unfortunately, maybe there is a lack of management, but there are some really non-helpful, id even say lazy people that work here. There was a very nice woman who helped us today, but we did over hear her tell one of the young men in the kitchen (who was pretty much just leaning against the counter the whole time while the lady did everything) “just so you know there are a few spicy chickens in this order” and he just sucked his teeth and didn’t budge. No sense of urgency and just blatantly rude.

They're food is really good and never let me down throughout the years I've ate there. But four star bcuz i found hair stacked between my burger today. Please put your hairnets on properly. Smh (shaking my head)

The food was good. Everything was hot and fresh. The cashier wasn't very friendly, and then dropped my change in the drive through. I was waiting for her to acknowledge what she did, instead she handed my food and closed the window.

Clean place, staff not too friendly. Food is delicious. But very sad that customers parks their trucks using 2 parkings. Specially a handycap parking.

Burger was exquisite as always, as is to be expected. But, when you include the soggy curly fries that aren’t season correctly, and the fact that I was in the drive thru line for well over 40 mins (three cars were ahead of me), it honestly is no longer worth the hefty price tag to eat here, sadly.

The people are very friendly and the food is always good. This is not the greatest hamburger in the world but the olive burger is one of my favorites!

We got 1 chili cheese dog - the bun of which tasted like paper, and 2 burger meals, which include fries and a med drink. Went through the drive- thru, and received outstanding service. The food was fresh and quite tasty. The cost was unreasonable. Almost $40 for the above mentioned meal. Whatever. We paid it and ate it. Not likely to return. It's like maybe 26 dollars good, but not 38 dollars good.

I had the "spicy" chili cheeseburger and curly fries. The burger was okay, but not spicey. Also, mustard and pickles seemed to clash with the chili. Fries were good, and fresh. Service? Well, it was fast, but not too friendly. More like "watch you want?" And "here you go" I may try again, but glad I didn't get it to it in, as the dining room isn't to appealing.

The burger was good but, they are way overpriced for what you get. The burger is good quality but, the cleanliness of this place is what brings the score down. I just feel if I am going to spend $10 For a burger, fries and iced tea the place should have workers that can make sure there us ketchup and the table clean.

Burger was good but the fries were mediocre. Expected to get curly fries and got different fries that were soggy. They charge for unexpected things. I asked for a medium drink and they charged me extra for fries and the drink, but couldn't explain why. We spent $29 for 2 burger meals!

It is just okay. Prices are higher on the ticket than on the drive thru menu. Burger was ehhh. The fries were fried in old oil. Won't be going back. Ate the hamburger and fed the fries to the birds. Drink tasted musky like the lines needed to be cleaned. Classic Mesquite joint.

The Food is really Delicious bad customer service the lady was really rude asking for the order.

The burgers are good. However, there are major issues that prevent me from purchasing food from Burger Street. Service can be very slow, so far they have messed up my order once out of 4 times, the bread can be soggy, and the prices are pricey for a burger, sometimes it can be $20 for two people. A good perk about this place is that it closes kinda late, which is good because other places close earlier.

I want to like Burger Street but honestly the meat doesn't have a good grilled flavor. It has no char or spice To me it tasted like the meat had been microwaved which always really ruins the flavor of beef, kind of like boiled and water beef and real mono flavor and the onions. They always cut that too thick way too thick on the purple onion. I have to remove most of it and I like it in you. I just don't like it. Overbearing so I've tried it a couple of times and I always come away with despite the location that same opinion for a lot less money. I just assume eat at Griff's where the food tastes better and you get it much faster. I would choose a Griff's Burger any day over Burger Street and most people will say that's crazy but but I would especially one of the old griffs like the one on South Buckner that has a cast iron grill rather than a stainless steel grill. Oh man. Big difference. The meat tastes a little charred on the edges and has just a lot of different flavors to it. It's infinitely better

First visit here on a Saturday afternoon, dine inside, odd no customers inside? But had the college football game TSU beating Arkansas. Got the hotdog with onions not bad. My coworker tried out the chicken strip basket., young Kevin crew very detailed to actually repeat the Order, they serve good sweet tea (one thing noticed had a strange odor may be sewer) hopefully it’s from outside? Overall would come again but will be drive thru. ( decent value menu)

Not worth the money. The meat is grey, but the burger is still good. The curly fries are decent. Cost the same for a burger at a sit-down restaurant. I don't like paying premium prices for grey beef.

A bit disappointed in our visit today to the Mesquite Burger Street. While the food came out very soon after ordering and was delicious, the minute we opened the door, the horrible smell of their grease trap hit us in the face. It seemed to get worse the further in we went, so we opted to sit at the front of the restaurant. Also, very quickly, we noticed they had an inappropriate T.V. show playing with bad language, seemingly only for their employees, as one of them kept pausing it as she came back and forth from behind the counter. After noticing another customer was irritated with the bad words of the show, I finally asked them to pause it until we left, since we had young children with us and there was cussing. Very unprofessional of this place!

Mesquite TX, stayed in the drive thru line for about an hour. Each car is at the window for almost 15 minutes which is ridiculous for service. I've been going to Burger Street for quite some time now and the drive in service has never been this bad. It's like they wait until you get to the window before they start preparing your meal. The meal is always good & hot.

food was good and hot. When my kids drinks were empty I asked for a refill and the cashier said refills were the same price as a drink. Was not happy that there was not a refill allowed on beverages. If I had known that I would have not dined at this establishment(it being hot that day also).

I tried their double meat. Burger with bacon was not great. Had a lot better than that and their hotdog with chili was absolutely awful the root beer didn’t taste like root beer taste like water down Dr Pepper. The only thing good were the fries with that I’ll never go back.

Good burgers, just be prepared to sit for a long time in the drive thru lane and be prepared to pay outrageous prices.

It's been a while since I've been here but I used to love it. Burger was just ok but I can't put my finger on just why? Curly fries are seasoned not and not just regular curly, which is not nearly as good. Disappointing.

Painfully obvious that this is just a frozen patty. Generic, frozen curly fries. Burger is just good enough, there are tons of better options around. Restaurant was not very clean, tables felt sticky and there’s a lot of food and dirt between the cracks of the bench seats. Will not be back.

The burger that I received today is not up to burger street standard, I’m pretty sure it was a frozen patty. Been coming here for years once to twice a week. Since mandates were lifted, I haven't had one problem with entering the facility without a mask. Upon entering today, I was abruptly told by a woman (who wasn't wearing her mask correctly) that I needed a mask. I asked under which mandate since the Governor had lifted that? She just said "we don't want your business here". Instead of answering the question. I told Karen that I had no problem with that and would NEVER frequent their store again. Ridiculous.

When you pull up to the drive thru and the order taker asks "What do you want" and with an attitude.I think it's time to find staff who likes the job they sought. This location has been going downhill for awhile,not to forget that they have closed the inside dining,as well.

During this time of uncertainty the drive thru was terrible the girl that took order had serious ATTITUDE . I advise her to give me minute she sigh like a kid. That made me change my mind and go to a different restaurant. Would never allow my order to be placed

One star because I love tea and it was ok. But I had a quick snack and ate a hot dog. It was squished beyond means and tasted like old grease. My sone got a very small old looking order of onion rings that was on there "VALUE" menu for almost $4. I see why they have almost gone out of business since I was a kid. I haven't been in years and won't go again. If I do it will be for tea only , again it was good and any size for $1.

Found dirt and hair in the bottom of my frozen lemonade after drinking most if it. The burger was good, but; if the cups are this nasty without ever being used before, I can only imagine the filth found and items that they use often. Needless to say, i will never go back there.

I can’t believe what I just experienced! I was in line for more than 30min! Girl in the window took our payment and another one comes and asks for a payment as well. She then asked if we can move forward and two cars pass right by after us with their food. So I end up getting off the car to exchange my drink again. Yes I Said AGAIN because the machine drinks tasted like water and I had already switched the drink. So I’m inside waiting for my food and one of the girls was touching the vegetables and everything without wearing GLOVES! So then right after I see that she gets the chicken strips (I ordered two sets) and she asked SANTOS they were regular and he said just put it in the bag and go. So of course I hear and when she gives me the bag I told her is it spicy because I overheard you telling your coworker and MY KIDS don’t eat spicy. So then they go and try to make the correct chicken strips AGAIN! If it was up to me I wouldn’t mind for them to be spicy I understand things go wrong but the girl in the window had already said they had messed up my order already and Again the order was for my children. & of course I asked for my money back. Santos didn’t seem to mind either he said ok give it to them in a vulgar tone so they can keep making other orders. No apologies or nothing ! And the tea sucked too. Bad service all around!

I ordered a #1 and that night I threw up. I used to like eating out but too many restaurants are not clean at all. For 2 days I stayed feeling sick. It taste good but I still got sick. For damn near $10 for a meal you would think the food would be safe.

First time coming here for my wife and I. We walked in, noone greeted us. Than the cashier just stood there looking at us. My wife and I looked at each other. We just walked out. Y'all should really work on training employees to have great customer skills. We will not be back at all.

Ordered the Frito burger. They forgot the Fritos. So I drove 10 minutes back to their location to ask for the Fritos. They gave me a small cup. I asked if I could have another cup and they tried to charge me. I just left. Threw my food in the trash bc at that point it was cold

This place is total trash never been treated so awful when trying to get lunch. Wonder where they find the people who work at the location. If you don't like your job u shouldn't work there. The owner should be mortified with the situation I had at the Town East location makes every Burger street look bad. I will never eat at one again and make sure I let everyone hear what happened to me.

Horrible place!!!!! I ordered a Olive Burger WITH CHEESE, the LAST thing I said was “cut in half” the stupid hill Billy lady already had a attitude and blowing her breath. The Burger had NO cheese AT ALL on it and was NOT cut in half. I took 1 bite and discovered there was no cheese. I drove back around to drive through window only for them to go to the back to talk to the stupid hillbilly lady and come back saying all they can do is put a cold piece of cheese on MY burger because I ate the burger already………. Never coming here again!

Used to love coming to this place, new staff is horrible. Girl at the window Lupe was rude about ordering and rushing. When i got to the window she acted like she was mad over the fact i ordered and looked like she didn’t even want to work.

Do not eat here. This was our first time here. We Paid $28 for two burgers and they both tasted like they had been microwaved. The tomato, lettuce and pickles were warm, the meat was gray, it was just awful. Do not recommend.

this location was disgusting. The ceiling was falling in near the bathrooms. There was food everywhere on the floor. You’d think coming out of a pandemic folks wouldn’t be preparing your food with bare hands. The women were sweating by the grill I watched them wipe their sweat and pick a piece of cheese up and put it on the burger patty. I’ll NEVER eat burger street again I’ve been completed disgusted! This location honestly needs to be shut down.

This is one of the worst experience I've had. I ordered through the drive-thru and the lady was talking so fast like she was rushing me to order and when I pulled up to the window she quickly told me my total. It seemed like she didn't want to be there. I checked my order before I left and of course it was missing something. I let her know and she corrected it but had attitude about it. I do not plan to go to this location again.

Went through drive thru ordered something single burger deluxe with cheese dry with grilled jalapeno and onion rings Then ordered another single burger deluxe meal with cheese with lettuce and Mayo only Tator tots and med Dr Pepper. We told the guy multiple times do not mess this order up. The meal one - she’s allergic to onion, jalapeno and we even asked again when he handed us the food if he did burgers right. We’ll surprise on meal burger the put jalapeños ( not grilled) and on the burger by itself no jalapeno. We threw the one burger away. I can’t get anyone to answer the phone. I need a refund for one burger and the $1.02 I paid for jalapeno on burger This is BS

Don’t even deserve the 1 star. Went through drive through order 4 meals. Got home and 3 out of the 4 meals were wrong. This is not the first time they have messed up our order. Will not be back.
