Avis sur Panther Coffee Miami Beach
long time customer and today was especially pleased here. had a west coast espresso in a mug. blown away by the flavors as usual. i hope they never fix turn the air conditioning back on because the place was especially cozy today with a couple of fans and no poisonous arctic air being pumped into my lungs.
In town from Portland, Oregon and as a home roaster and coffee enthusiast wanted to see what Miami has to offer in the realm of speciality coffee. The Kenya pour over we had was delicious! Well extracted; hit all the notes and the service was friendly and fast. Ham and cheese croissant and guava and cheese pastry were also on point. Ignore the 1-2 star reviews; those folks don't know anything but commodity coffee.
Panther Coffee has some of the best coffee in Miami! I would have it everyday if it wasn’t so expensive for one cup. This place makes Starbucks look like gas station coffee. Treat yourself every once in a while, unless you are the owner of one of the yachts across the street, in which case get a coffee from here everyday!
Tucked away from the bustling commercial areas, this café offers a serene oasis ideal for those looking to work in a peaceful environment. The ambiance is calm and inviting, allowing for a productive retreat amidst the day-to-day hustle. With a selection of excellent coffees, each brew is a testament to their commitment to quality and flavor. Whether you're looking to concentrate on work or simply take a moment for yourself, this tranquil café is a perfect spot.
This was a great stop for coffee after a day at the beach. They have very good espresso drinks and a lovely atmosphere and overall good vibes. It’s a fun place to add to a beach trip and to catch up with people or to just relax. The drink was hot and creamy, and they also had a station of other things to add to drinks, including brown sugar. Seating is limited, and some of the chairs are pretty uncomfortable. Other than that, this place is awesome!
If you really like coffee, you should stop by Panther Coffee. Not only they roast their own coffee, but the single origin options and brewing methods provided are really good. The Espresso and Americano (West Coast blend) are phenomenal. The baristas (shout out to Leah, Amanda, Eric and Diana) are very knowledgeable and friendly and the ambience is tranquil and cozy. My husband and I used to go to other coffee shop nearby and now that we have discovered Panther, we are hooked and never look back :)
Really good coffee sl chain. It's a bit toastier and roastier than your normal cup of coffee, but it's good. This location is a good size with plenty of seats, wifi, and good vibes for working. The almost $9 per cup is a bit tough though.
Panther Coffee in Miami Beach has a great atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff. The vibe makes it a nice place to relax or catch up on work. Coffee is good, though not the standout, but overall it’s a solid spot for a coffee break.
Calm cafe in a great area full of higher end restaurants and cafes. Parking was very reasonable and it had plenty of outlets and wifi to do work in or just relax waiting to go eat. They got some interesting espresso options. I tried the East Coast 8oz as well as Oat milk chai latte. Both were solid. Def recc this place if you’re in the area!
Helloooo there!! This is a great local coffee place to hang out and enjoy fresh coffee. Latte, cappuccino, macchiato, espresso, and black coffee are their speciality... but not only coffee, they also have juices, beers, red and white wine, sparkling and still water. Panther merchandise is there too. T-shirts, mugs, pins, bottles, their brew, and much more. Inside and outside seating. Nice music. Pastry. Talking about pastry they can have more options. It is always nice to enjoy coffee with a sweet pastry. Also find panther in wynwood. That is my favorite location!!!
Amazing coffee shop. Coffee is just excellent and pastries from a bakery next door are so tasty. I wish I can visit this place everyday to get an espresso and a croissant.
Loved this location! Had a morning oat cap after walking my dogs, this place is pet friendly yay!! Personnel is so sweet and nice to both humans and animals. The coffee probably the best one you can find in town. They’ve got seating area outside as well and there’s plenty of tables inside too.

I normally don’t write reviews, but I find Panther Coffee at Purdy Av. to be special enough to deserve one. There are plenty of coffee shops around, but my wife and I prefer Panther for two reasons: the coffee and the atmosphere. There are some reviews complaining that the coffee is expensive, but in my view it is one of those cases of getting what you pay for; I personally find it is the best coffee around, bar none, and I don’t mind to pay a little more for it. It is a good thing that this place exists, and that it offers not only better coffee (IMO) but also a different atmospheric experience than the Rosetta type of trending style (nothing wrong with Rosetta, I also love it). It is all about choices, and it is great to have a choice like Panther. It’s quite a unique coffee shop really worth stopping by and trying out. Last but not least, Leah and Amanda are awesome, and all the rest of the staff, and they always treat us top-notch.
Some of the best coffee in Miami. Great location that’s a bit busier than the Wynwood location, but worth the wait for good quality coffee that’s smooth and not acidic. OK prices on average around $5 for an ice coffee which is ok considering you’re in Miami Beach. Good food and snack options including baked goods and also some cold drinks available. Great location and good staff here.
I really liked going here the whole month I was there. The beans and barristas are all absolutely on point. The people working here were really nice and friendly and made the experience great but their coffee is definitely the best in the area. I am a coffee snob and have an ECM machine at home, so I am a pretty good judge of quality. I even bought a bag of the Brasil roast to bring home on recommendation by the one barrista who was so nice (thank you!). I can really taste the cherry flavors from the beans, but I was sad that the vegan double chocolate cookie showed up on the last day. Big ups on the vegan pastries as well. Maybe more outdoor seating would be my only recommendation. Otherwise a 5 star experience.
Miami's home grown coffee shop, always great. Super cool space with indoor and outdoor seating. Proper baristas. Their pastries are sourced from other places, stick with the the coffee and get some pastries from True Loaf around the corner.
Serious coffee lover ☕🔥 Panther Coffee never disappoints—amazing beans, expertly made drinks, and friendly Miami Beach staff 😎👍. Local spot done right. One of my go-to stops, no question.

Panther Coffee is a great little place to meet up and have a chat over a great coffee and pastry. Nice area outside and cool and refreshing inside. The Expresso is really good and the vibe, very South Beach. Located just on Sunset Harbor and frequented by many of the locals and workout clubs nearby!
Very good coffee. A bit pricey, but great quality and good service. Nothing over the top. Nice place to sit and chat...outside is nice too.
Good coffee but it was total chaos when we went in. They were out of "to stay" cups so we had to get our cappuccino's "to go," which sort of makes it no longer a cappuccino. We ordered two coffees, paid for two coffees, but somehow after a long wait only one was made. After another 10 minutes, the other was made. They were also out of most pastries by 10am. Again, great coffee, but it was altogether too chaotic.
The coffee is very good, but the place is a bit neglected, and the food doesn't seem like it was made by them.
Good coffee but OVER PRICED a latte shouldn’t be $9.

2024 Update: The service is often friendlier than before, but varies based on who is working. Some people get a healthy tip for one drink but still want you to walk all the way around the counter to get it at the pickup station. Other people have service instincts and just hand it to you over the divider. It’s kind of amusing. The coffee is generally too strong. They use a pour over ratio of 1:10, which is, IMHO, nuts. The drip coffee is also strong. The cold brew is strong. I just got an iced tea and it’s strong and bitter. I’m not an espresso guy but I wonder if they’ve found a way to pull 7 shots into a one shot drink just for the sake of consistency. The canned water is not too strong. Maybe get that and enjoy the space. 2021 UPDATE: Along with the decline in service, the pour over is now over extracted and bitter. I gave this place many chances. No more. // Original review: This is the best coffee in south beach. It might be the only specialty coffee in south beach. For that reason it gets 5 stars. It gets two stars taken away because the people working here, if they were any less excited about their jobs, would verge on the hostile. I’ve been here 5 times in 10 days. No one remembers my name. No one wants to talk about coffee.
Coffee is great but unfortunately pastries are a little disappointing! Staff is bit forgetful, they can’t even seem to remember a two items order…all in all not the best place in Miami Beach for breakfast!
The coffee here was good and the vibe inside was dope. I enjoyed it. I don't think the staff was very engaging with the consumer like they should've been and the latte was served espresso poured over the milk/flavoring. The flavor was decent but the vanilla profile was very subtle if at all. I think putting the shot and flavor in first with the milk and ice after would have made the latte worth the almost $9 that I paid for it. (a croissant and latte came to just shy of $15)
Great coffee, but skip the food! My ‘pain au chocolat’ was stale AF and a few days old. Staff tried to convince me it came in this morning, what a joke. Donate old food rather than selling it at $5… 15% service charge… 7% tax… and improve training of staff on handling customer complaints. Beans are great, as are the barista skills.

Ugly uncomfortable industrial vibe. $8 for a plain iced latte with regular milk.. served in plastic automatically. Lazy service, overpriced drinks. It’s not that hard not to scoff when I ask how many shots are in a drink. I’m pregnant and need to keep caffeine consumption under a certain amount. This is miami - there is good coffee everywhere. Not coming back.

Tried to ask a question and was greeted with an attitude… it was my first and last time here!
Horrible customer service. This black hair emo looking woman is so nasty. She should learn some manners on how to greet customers. For the price you pay here for a latte $9, the least the staff could do is be friendly. If a client greets the staff, the staff should acknowledge the customer and greet back. Even though I like the coffee here and live in the neighborhood , I won’t come back due to how unfriendly and unhappy some of the staff act.
Just got a small iced vanilla latte, whole milk, extra shot. Cost over $9. Plus tip, plus had to pay to park. So tired of getting ripped off by merchants in Miami Beach. So out of touch. The coffee was fine. Nothing special.
I’ve been to various Panther coffee locations. (Wynwood location 2 years ago once, never went back, Little Haiti location same thing, Coconut Grove couple times and final one it’s Miami Beach (Purdy Ave) which it’s probably the worst one of all of them) They have the good quality coffee but the quality of making a coffee is completely terrible. I always order a simple “oat milk latte hot” and every time it’s always super hot, tongue-burning, taste like coffee mixed with water and milk.. simply a mess but coffee. Maybe on one lucky day I had a good made latte in Coconut Grove location but that’s all. On top of that they charge you %15 service fee on top of tax and still ask for a tip after that! Which for me is not a problem but for that coffee experience.. no thank you! My 12oz oat milk latte cost me $10 (In many other and better coffee shops like: Wells Coffee, Vice City Bean, Subculture it would be around $7)
I’m in hospitality and I hope management pays attention to my comments *** your staff is too loud! They should use inside voices while talking to each other. *** have you considered offering a few healthy food options? *** WiFi is unreliable and frustrating to deal with. When I commented to staff that the Wi-Fi is down, they shrugged their shoulders and said we don’t control the Wi-Fi.
