I cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant…as a LOCAL. I have been here solo (at night) and I’ve gone with my boyfriend (early evening) and both times the service was friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed. If you take the time to get to know your server, you find out a lot of really cool things about not only them but the restaurant. Did you know that every server speaks Italian and the majority of them all are from Italy? I bet if he took the time to get to know the people that are there on a daily basis the more you understand the quality of food that you’re receiving. Pasta is freshly made. All the vegetables looked and tasted fresh. The burrata was perfect. And the choices on the menu were not TOO many but had just the right amount. BTW they have GLUTEN FREE PASTA! I also enjoyed a glass of rosé, both times and two different glasses of red wine. Great selections. After dinner I enjoyed a cappuccino and an espresso the other time and had an overall great experience. This is now my favorite spot to go for Italian in South Beach. Highly recommend

Had dinner with my Dad on 5/27. I had the bolognese and an aperol spritz to drink and he had pepperoni pizza with a Donna Sofia to drink (vodka, mango and Prosecco). Drinks were refreshing and tasty. The bolognese was amazing, the noodles were cooked perfectly and the sauce was really flavorful. The service was top notch, it was a total team effort from the bussers, the managers and server. Manuel was a knowledgeable server and extremely attentive, he made the experience memorable. 10/10 would recommend!

This restaurant is the location of the old Pizza Rustica on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach. The new owners refurbiished the restaurant and made it Italian cuisine. The server Matteo was quick with his service, suggestions, and his promptness to oblige us at the table. We chose to sit outside. My wife and I ordered the Caprese salad and a margherita pizza to share. We also ordered a white sangria. Although it tasted a little weak, Matteo returned it to the bar and they rectified the drink. They play oldies italian pop music throughout the restaurant. Matteo was lively and very attentive to us. I will be coming back!

My pizza would have been really yummy if it wasn’t burnt on the bottom. Unfortunately we were staying at a hotel, brought it back to the room before we realized it was burnt. We were too tired to walk back to the restaurant to take it back. Tried a few bites and then just had some toppings. PS…. Yes I know this Tote of pizza will have some black on the bottom but it was completely black and tasted burnt.

Food was decent, but their service was the worst I have experienced in Miami. All the staffs, from a guy at the front to the server were unkind and unprofessional. The rating is overestimated. Only the location is great, but there are a plenty of better options nearby.

I'm so confused by the fab reviews. Spent $120 on terrible food. I opted for the rigatoni carbonnara, and it was cold when it arrived and much too salty. My husband had the 'serve at the table' cheese cacio e pepe with chicken. The waiter put the chicken in the cheese before mixing and serving which I found very odd. He then added a huge amount of cheese sauce (why should that be necessary if its mixed in an ACTUAL CHEESE) and way too much parmesan. Again this was cold and very much overloaded with cheese. This place was meant to be authentic and have a chef from Naples but the menu stated all pasta was imported and overall, just terrible. We've eaten in Italy and many authentic Italian restaurants but this was by far the worst. A big fat waste of $120 on terrible cold (could have done better myself at home from a jar) pasta.

Look at the menu carefully; it says the prices already include a 20% service charge, but then you get the surprise that it doesn't. I already told them they need to create a new menu so customers don't think we're crazy. The service was very pleasant; the waiter was nice, but he forgot my glass of wine, and I had to ask for it again. Also, if I order a starter and main course, they bring them both at the same time. All we ordered was one Caesar salad and one pepperoni pizza. We waited an HOUR for the food after asking multiple times what was happening and being promised it would be fixed in one minute. At one point a random server stopped and looked at our empty plates and asked us if “we were done” when we told her we had not received our food yet! She was surprised since we had been sitting there for over an hour waiting. But she walked away! Server: 1 Our server was pleasant and apologetic but did not communicate with us on what was going on and we still don’t know why it took 1 hour to receive one Caesar salad and one regular sized pizza. All of the tables around us received their food after being seated way after us. He kept saying he was sorry when we asked and telling us “we gave your food to another table” or “it’s my second day” or other excuses. I asked if we could at least have our salad and he would say yes and then go the other direction (not the kitchen to get it) and never return with it. He gave us a free tiramisu which we waited another 20 minutes for after we were done with our food. It is the only restaurant I have ever been to that I almost left while waiting for the food. Greeting time: 10. (1 minute) (wrong server though) Drink refills: 2 We all got water and had to ask multiple times for our water to be refilled. Checked in after food came: 5. Checked in when we were halfway through our meal. Hostess: 8. She was very friendly and gave the restaurant a good first impression. She pulled our tables together quickly and sat us immediately. A server greeted us quickly and then she reprimanded him and told him to wipe off our table and that the table belonged to another sever. Management. (Stephan?) 3 I observed this manager being very friendly to guests and at first. He was staying on top of the servers and making sure everyone was taken care of, but after asking him multiple times where our food was after waiting an hour, and being told that he “would really hook us up with something extra to make this worth our time” I soon realized that wasn’t true. I asked him if we could at least have our salad (three times) while waiting for the pizza. He said yes and proceeded to walk to other tables and talk for 15-20 min. This manager is very friendly and has the potential to be amazing, but is very dishonest to his guests. We received our bill which had the full amounts, no discount and a 20% gratuity added to the check. Leif took the bill inside and they gave him a 20% discount. It left a very bad impression after waiting so long to receive a full bill with gratuity added Atmosphere: 8 A few indoor tables and mostly outdoor seating under tents. This restaurant is in a beautiful setting in Miami Design District surrounded by shops and restaurants. Table comfort. 5. Chairs and table were average Reservations. Yes Food overall: 5 Bread- 4 The bread was burned and not warm Appetizer: —- 4 Caesar salad (we received this with the pizza after asking several times if we could have it first) It was an ordinary salad with dressing on the side. It lacked dressing but our server didn’t come back for us to ask for more. We were worried it would take too long to receive any anyway so we didn’t bother asking Main course 6. Pepperoni pizza The pizza was very greasy and the dough was just ok. I was expecting a much better Italian Pizza and the other honest reviews are spot on with their descriptions of the crust and flavor. Dessert 9 Tiramisu. This was delicious and tasted as it should. Drink: —— Speed of food. 0 Speed of drinks 2 Healthy options 2 Presentation of food. 5 Cleanliness 5 Tables clean but smell from kitchen was like a dead body Cost $$$ Out of five. Overpriced for the quality of food. They also add 20% gratuity to the bill Portions. 7 Military discount. We didn’t ask because we had to wait so long for everything this entire experience

This is a rip-off! The menu states that a 20% service charge has already been included in the price for the convenience of the guests. But when the bill arrives, an outrageous 20% is added to the price! There are cheap restaurants down the street. The spaghetti (both portions) were almost cold, by the way! Attached is the menu. The prices then include an additional 20% service charge (which is supposedly already included) and 9% tax.

So i went there on Thursday evening and i wish google had the option of giving minus stars so i could have given that coz 1 star is also too much for this place. This restaurant had rude and arrogant service staff. So this is how things turned out. We ordered bruchetta and drinks first. The waitress (i think she was Celeste) recommended us to get cheese on top of bruchetta. We were like sure. At the end they dont show the bill, just show the final amount. When i asked for the bill, they had added 11 dollars for the added cheese, for the 12 dollars of bruschetta. So in total we paid 23 dollars for 3 pieces of bruchetta (pics attached in review). Also while eating bruchetts we realized they had added arugula instead of basil (as mentioned in the menu). We highlighted that to one waiter, he said what do you want me to do about it in a condescending tone. We said, you mentioned basil in the menu as also thats the way it is made traditionally..he said i will come back..obviously he didnt. Then the waitress who recommended cheese to us came back and asked if we needed anything else. .we highlighted again that the bruchetts had arugula instead of basil, she outrightly denied saying its basil. We said no, this is arugula. (You can see in the pics attached). But she was firm that no its basil. And that too v rudely. After that she left. Then came back to bring our pizza and asked if we will finish our bruchetta, We knew they will charge us for the bruchetta so we said we will finish it. She still had the audacity to pick the spoon and k ife and the tray and we again repeated that we are still eating. She then very rudely slammed the tray down, without apologising and left. After the bill came (there was no concession from their end for the basil error) infact they charged 23 dollars for 3 small pieces of the wrong bruchetta. After i paid the bill, my husband was still finishing his last piece of pizza and drink, the waitress just picked up his plate and drinka and left. The bill automatically has 20% gratuity added so we couldnt do anything about it. In the end we used their restroom and then we realized that the restaurant is just pretty from outside but from inside its dirty as hell and looked like a roadside eatery from inside. The restroom washroom door didnt close at all, and one of the restroom didnt had a door and it was just behind the kitchen. I am sure if there is an inspection, they would fail miserably on so many levels. This was the worst experience ever!! Please avoid it at all cost. They spoiled our last eve in Miami! WORST SERVICE EVER!!
