We’ve been to Oh Mexico twice now, a couple of years apart, and it’s been consistently great both times. The restaurant itself is so fun and festive, cute details everywhere. From the lighted woven lamps and glass orange star hanging lights to the patterned floors, tiled poles, and playful wall art, the space is full of colour and character. The teal barstools pop beautifully, and there’s a mix of booth and table seating, plus indoor and outdoor options. It’s one of those places where you can’t help but look around and take it all in. As for the food, delicious across the board. Today we tried the nacho salsa sampler, Mexican ceviche, carne asada tacos served with rice and refried beans, and the tortilla soup. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and well-prepared. A great spot for tasty Mexican food in a lively, inviting setting. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Miami Beach.
I recently revisit this restaurant after some time I was delighted to find that the food and service remains the same as perfecto. Delicious as ever with consistent quality. Diana Gonzalez was our waitress. Great customer service. I look forward to dining here soon definitely worth coming back.
I’ve been coming to Miami for several years and without a doubt Oh! Mexico is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Miami! Being Mexican, standards are probably a little higher for Mexican food than they are for others. We’ve branched out to other areas and keep coming back to this restaurant, specifically the one on Washington Ave. To say the least, this is the THIRD DAY IN A ROW we’ve ate at Oh! Mexico during this trip! Our server was Augustina and she was the best. She suggested menu items and seemed to know all the details pretty well. We chatted as if we had known each other for a long time, it was great! Everything was amazing, from our server to the ambiance to the food! 100000/10 recommended ♥️🫡
Hidden gem in the Miami Art Deco district! This spot has such a beautiful, bright, and chill vibe — perfect for unwinding after a South Beach day. The margaritas are next level — made with real fruit and hands down the best we’ve ever had! 🍹 Their nachos are homemade, loaded with fresh ingredients, and so delicious. Our waitress Azul was so pleasant and attentive, which made the experience even better. A must-stop if you’re in the area.
This is my second time after few years visiting this restaurant and the service and food was as good as the previous time. Our server Toni was very pleasant and knowledgeable with recommendations about the food we ordered. Food was great quality and service was very quick. Would highly recommend and return when I’m back to the area
Great place ! Very welcoming ! Very authentic Mixican , during Halloween stuff dressed up in costumes, creating an amazing vibe. Diana, took care of us, so sweet , kind and knowledgeable . She suggested to try tacos El Pastor, absolutely delicious. Will come back again! Strongly recommend!
Isela was an amazing waitress. She was very attentive and ensured that my order was correct. She kept checking up on me to ensure everything was good. This is my 3rd visit to Oh Mexico! The Jalapeño margarita was really good and the tacos 🌮 were delicious 😋.
Azul was amazing she was friendly recommendations were perfect! We really enjoyed our experience together with her!
Amazing place!!! All staff are super friendly but Cruz in particular who was our server, he was attentive, personable, showed great knowledge of the menu and looked after us well. The taste of the food is unbelievable - soo authentic ! Portion sizes are very generous as well. Such a nice vibe sitting outside on Espanyola Way - a must go in south beach.
The Green Aguachile was amazing and our server Diana was so sweet and remembered orders we even forgot! The drinks were amazing too!
Oh Mexico was so good. We especially like to thank Diana, our server! She is amazing. She had great energy, had helpful tips/recs. Overall, she was super nice would 10/10 recommend
The esquires and guacamole were delicious! Lissy was a great help with the menu and made great drink recommendations. We will definitely be back.
The experience was great from start to finish. Agus was always aware of our table and came to check on us multiple times during dinner. Food had great taste and drinks hit the spot.
I went to this place twice and the food it’s so good, with big portions and good price. Evelyn was so nice and helpful. Next time in Miami I will come for sure
Lissy was an amazing server! It was raining and she made sure everything stayed dry and amazing. Her customer service was outstanding! I live in Miami Beach on west ave and have for years, this place has now become one of my favorites!
The food was so delicious! I also got the tequila pop which includes a popsicle on the drink and I found it so unique. Our server was Azul and she was amazing and very attentive.
Agus is an amazing waitress & took great care of us ! She is awesome ! Kind & very attentive brought us extra salsa & great drink recommendations! We love the Cadillac & Cucumber Margaritas! Thank you for making our vacation better !
Helen was an amazing waitress! She was very nice and made the experience more enjoyable. The restaurant's drinks and food is very good. Get the cucumber margaritas, you won't regret it!
We absolutely love this place! Great food, drinks, atmosphere, and service! Our server, Liszt, was incredible—super sweet and very attentive with excellent recommendations and service. Highly recommended for outstanding Mexican food in Miami Beach!
This place is utterly inspiring!! George is truly uplifting!! He has a vibe that brings radiant light to any soul!! His drinks are heavenly and the vibe is exhilarating!! Don’t miss this place in Español Way. A gem in the city
We were actually on our way to another Mexican restaurant when we saw Oh! Mexico and decided to stop when we saw the putdoor seating area. Thank God we did! The service, food, and vibes were just what we were looking for. We got lucky enough to be served by the beautiful Diana, who was so friendly, fast, and patient. The birria tacos were a must and you can't pass up the vibes that the outdoor seating has to offer here. This is definitely worth the stop!
Had a great meal here. Always consistent. - bit expensive but it’s in South Beach. Lissy was our server and was super sweet and gave us roses for Valentine’s Day!
Been in South Beach all week, this is the best place I have eaten so far, genuinely. Really good authentic Mexican food and a really cool area with great atmosphere. We came here twice and the last night we had Lissy serving us who was the best. Thanks Lissy for the great service
We loved the place, the food and our server! Diana was great, she recommended our plates and it was delicious. The service was quick and very knowledgeable. Thank you Diana for your great service
Best happy hour margs in Miami! We tried the kiwi, strawberry, and passion fruit, and they were delicious. Diana was a fantastic server and was so friendly and attentive. Great spot to sit back and people watch.
So happy we tried this restaurant! The food and drinks were tasty and the service was excellent. Azul, our server, did a great job, especially in making my birthday dinner special :)
Great experience! Diana was a wonderful server and the happy hour margaritas were amazing. We loved the kiwi and watermelon! It is a perfect casual spot for people watching in Miami.
Juan was an amazing server. The food is excellent. This even beats our favorite place to eat back home in Chicago. We had a Cadillac margarita and a watermelon marg. The tortilla soup is shareable as it’s very large and delicious. We also had the chicken fajitas and the mole sauce on the side that was very flavorful.
Had a wonderful solo dinner outside on Espanola way. My server Agus was wonderful and attentive. The salsa and fish tacos were delicious. Will come back again the next time I’m in South Beach.
Lissy - was our terrific service pro, so friendly and gave great recommendations. Food was outstanding, a pleasant surprise in a touristic area. Drinks were strong and the outdoor seating was exactly what we were looking for. This was our third visit and we’ve always had an excellent experience. We’ll be back!
Roberto did an excellent job with our service and recommending food. The green sauce was amazing! The margaritas were amazing too! I would recommend dining at Oh! Mexico. Excellent
My experience at Oh Mexico was made even better thanks to the outstanding service from Ricardo, the bartender. From the moment I sat down, he was welcoming, professional, and attentive. It was clear that Ricardo takes pride in his work—each drink was expertly crafted, well balanced, and beautifully presented. What really stood out was his customer service. Ricardo offered great recommendations based on my preferences and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. His friendly attitude and confidence behind the bar created a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. If you’re dining at Oh Mexico, I highly recommend sitting at the bar and ordering a drink from Ricardo. His skill and hospitality truly enhanced the experience, and I will definitely be back.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the service made the whole experience even better. Azol was our host and went above and beyond with excellent customer service. We were celebrating our friend’s birthday, and the staff made it such a special occasion. Azol and the rest of the team were fantastic, creating an atmosphere that you don’t always find in other places. The only downside was the automatic 20% service fee, but overall it was a wonderful experience.
Lovely spot for Mexican food in my personal opinion I would rate the food 8/10 it can still be better. Loved the margarita classic. Loved the pico with everything else we ordered. We ordered Mexican bowl, fish tacos and chicken enchilada. They were all delicious. I also liked the fact that they served us with house made hot sauces which went well with the food. The people starting from the hostess to the servers and other staff around the restaurant seemed very welcoming and friendly. They did add a 18%service fee to the total just FYI
Group of friends dropped in on off chance. Sat quickly and served quickly. Good menu selection. All food came quickly obviously cooked fresh and of good quality. Waitress was approcable, friendly and informative with great sense of humor.
Our last night in Miami ended with this restaurant, and it couldn’t have ended better in my opinion. The food was amazing, and vegetarian friendly for my parents as well. Our server, Diana, made sure all our needs were taken care of and made sure to explain menu items to make our experience the best that it could have been. The vibe and ambience of we also amazing, a lively and happening experience especially when seated on the street. Overall highly recommend!
Best Mexican Good in SoBe!❤️Lissy was sweet, attentive and efficient. Great service❤️Good was sooo good. Love the chipotle salsa here and the Quesabirria- crunchy cheese tortilla folded in half and fIlled with cheese and pulled beef. Drinks are also delicious and strong! Yammmm🙌🏻🙌🏻❤️❤️😘.
Tony was an excellent waiter. He was very attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The service was outstanding thanks to him. Highly recommended!
We had lunch at Oh! Mexico and the food was really really good and very authentic. The aguachille was perfectly marinated and the tiger shrimps were very fresh. The soft corn tortilla was perfect. Lissy was very attentive, professional, warm and made sure we left happy and satisfied. Thank you.
We had a wonderful experience thanks to our waitress Diana. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. Her positive attitude and great service really made the difference and made us feel welcome. Thank you Diana for your excellent service — we will definitely come back!
Amazing experience from start to finish. We sat outside and immediately our server Diego was able to turn a fan on us to keep it cool. He checked in on us the perfect amount to keep us satisfied and was always easy to locate. Food was delicious and wine suggestion was exactly what we wanted. Overall satisfactory experience
Absolutely loved our visit to Oh! Mexico! The tacos were incredibly delicious – full of flavor and freshly made. The service was excellent, and our waitress Isela was especially kind and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed and added a really warm touch to the whole experience. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!
Everything was delisious, food and atmoshere was great. I have to also point out that the service from Toni was outstanding, he was so friendly and helpfull. We really can recommend to everyone this nice place. We will came back again to Oh Mexico for sure. Martin from Poland.
The whole street was beautiful, we chose Oh Mexico and got a spot on their patio. Very busy but excellent, timely service and food. The small margarita was way bigger than expected, glad I didn't go with large so I could try multiple flavors.
Just had an amazing meal at Oh Mexico and I’m still thinking about it! We kicked things off with the Oh Mexico guacamole—super fresh, chunky, and loaded with flavor. Perfect start! For the mains, the Oh Mexico burrito was a total winner—hearty, packed with all the good stuff, and seasoned just right. The enchiladas were cheesy, saucy, and downright comforting. Every bite was spot-on 🌮🇲🇽
We had a fantastic time! We started with two Classic Margaritas each, and Diana was absolutely wonderful. She let us know it was Taco Tuesday, so we were able to save some money by ordering individual tacos—a great tip! When I asked for a spicy snack, she recommended the nachos with guacamole and their green spicy salsa, which was delicious. Everything was so tasty, and Diana’s service made the evening even better. We’ll definitely be back!
Amazing location, atmosphere, staff, food. I love it and give my best recommendations! We had an awesome waiter, Agus! Thanks for making our day!! I visited this restaurant several times. Ones with colleagues as well as twice with my son. First day in Miami I had a late meal by my self. Every day and every meal was top notch. Best regards Morten Leopold (Norway)
From the first crunchy chip to the last savory bite, everything tasted fresh, bold, and made with love. The portions were generous, the seasoning was perfect, and every plate looked like it should be on a food magazine cover. You know it’s good when the table goes quiet for a few seconds because everyone’s busy enjoying life. 😄 And Evelyn? Total superstar. She was upbeat, patient, and incredibly attentive, keeping drinks full, checking in at just the right moments, and making us feel genuinely welcomed. Her energy made the whole experience even better. Amazing food + great atmosphere + top-tier service = a place I’ll happily return to again and again. Easy five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend!
Tbh, I was a bit skeptical based on previous reviews. However, Diego really sold the place for us. Great personality, service, and explanation of Menu items. I ended up with the Quesabirria, which was straight fire. Amazing dish and incredible portion. My wife got a salmon, and though we were surprised to be asked how she wanted it cooked, it was pretty good! The atmosphere music was great and the manager even came and checked in on us mid-meal. Anyway, A+!
The food was amazing, my family is vegetarian and we found a lot of good options despite the restrictions we have. The staff was extremely friendly, our server Diana gave us many options and recommended wonderful dishes. She was also very understanding of our dietary restrictions and was extremely kind and accommodating. The restaurant itself had a very lively and enjoyable atmosphere, and we very much enjoyed the outdoor patio seating. The experience was wonderful overall. Highly recommend!

O! Mexico in South Beach was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we walked in, the energy of the place was vibrant, welcoming, and fun — exactly what you hope for in SOBE. The food was outstanding. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every dish felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell they care about quality. But what truly made the experience exceptional was our server, Agus. She was amazing — attentive without hovering, genuinely warm, and on top of everything. She elevated the entire evening and made us feel like VIPs. Great food, terrific atmosphere, and five-star service. We’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend!
Stumbled upon this restaurant bc they were playing some of my fav Mexican music and it was truly like serendipity. I had a mezcalita (passion fruit tequila pop but instead of tequila I asked for mezcal) and green aguachiles. Everything was to die for. My server Roberto was super attentive and made my time there great! Especially as I was dining by myself. Felt so at ease! Will be coming back.🧜🏼♀️💫🐚🫧

The whole vibe of this place is very cool. I live on the other end of Lincoln Road so I don't get much of a chance to come up here. The staff was very friendly. Ricky was my bartender.

Unfortunately, it was a bit too chilly to eat outside, but we did anyway out of principle. The heat lamps and awnings kept us mostly warm, but the cool wind coming around the corner kept the winter chill on us. Our waiter was mostly supportive and the atmosphere in the are is nice, south beach style. Our meal and food were good, somewhat chain restauranty, but enjoyable for our craving for Mexican / Tex Mex.
On a girls trip , we chose this place for dinner . We preferred outdoor seating - the vibe is amazing ! Food was decent ! We tried a blueberry - mint - lemon mocktail . Was different and we liked it ! We had veg quesadillas, fajita , nachos with guacamole.
The restaurant’s location is across the beach and its a good place to hang out and appreciate the views. They also have good lighting setup in the evening. However I observed few caveats during my dining experience. On a busy evening, the friendly staff can get a bit overwhelmed water refills and simple requests may take longer than you’d expect. If you’re particularly thirsty or in a hurry, be prepared to send a polite reminder. Also, the tables are small, in fact, that it can be challenging to fit all of your dishes at once without feeling cramped. Pricing practices here warrant extra scrutiny. The restaurant automatically adds a 20% gratuity to every bill, which can feel hefty, especially when service is uneven. What’s more, if you pay by credit card you’ll be prompted to add yet another tip percentage, risking an unintended double-charge if you don’t catch it. I recommend reviewing your itemized bill carefully before you leave, otherwise you may end up tipping far more than you intended. Cocktails are another mixed bag. I tried the classic margarita, but was disappointed to find it more soda than spirit, light, and nearly devoid of tequila. At $20 price range, I expected a more robust taste or at least a more interesting twist on the traditional recipe. And yet, despite these frustrations, the food itself is really good. The birria quesadillas have tender meat, and the molcajete platter filled with a colorful medley of grilled chorizo, steak, and carnitas is rich, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. Each bite delivers authentic Mexican-seasoned flavors that remind you why you came in the first place. In summary, this spot is a study in contrasts. The view and the cuisine are certainly worth experiencing especially if you arrive with an appetite and the patience to navigate a busy service staff. Just be sure to double-check your bill before you pay, and perhaps stick to the stronger drinks list if you’re a cocktail aficionado. With those caveats in mind, you’ll find that this seaside restaurant has plenty to recommend it so long as you’re prepared for a few rough edges along the way.

Prime location. Food was fine. Nothing special. Service was so so. We had to 'hunt' for our waitress to order another drink. She also never asked how was our food. Drinks are overpriced, Mohito $26
Lovely location with plenty of outdoor seating however outside seating that my party was placed at was in an area that was partially rubble which made the dining experience a bit uncomfortable. Service was considerate and quick. Loved having the option to drink jarritos! Not a ton of appetizer options. Portions were small, tacos come with a tiny dish of rice and beans that didn’t seem to be enough as a single portion meal. The tacos al pastor were delicious!! The slice of pineapple with on the taco was such a good addition. We had fajitas that were a bit bland, the portion size was good but needed more tortillas. The enchiladas was a great dish on its own, very flavorful
Delicious home made chips and guacamole. Fun atmosphere and music. Friendly staff. Lots of seating on the patio. The downside was the washroom was not great.

We came to this place on Taco Tuesday, and judging by the prices, each of us should have paid around $30 for what you see in the photo. But the final bill came to $90. We still don’t understand if we were overcharged or not—whether they added dishes we didn’t order or if it’s some kind of automatic tip system—but we have no desire to go back.
I visited the restaurant twice while on vacation and my experience was great up until we sat at the bar area for drinks. The bartender CARLOS did not have any kind of personality whatsoever when it came to engaging with customer. We sat there for about two hours, not once did he come to ask us if the drinks were ok, or if we wanted another round. We had to ask him each time we wanted a drink. Restaurant gets a 5; bar service with Carlos as bartender a 0.
Horrible experience- ordered a burger - on the menu the French fries can be seen as thick sir fries, I order the burger medium well - it comes out with McDonald’s thin cut fries, well done, and brunt cheese, not even melted: I had the waitress take away my meal and left. Not worth your time! Wasted 30 min here to not even eat.

# Oh!
