Excellent services, staff and food I recommend
Thank god for Almazar at FIU MMC.
Always fresh and reliable
Great healthy food
the foods so good
Delicious!!!
Fresh food
Atendimento excelente
Almazar is the best food option at FIU. It is affordable, healthy, and tastes very good. Also has friendly staff.
Affordable and incredibly tasty. Great service; get the shawarma sandwich!
Fresh and delicious, the yums are the falafel sandwich and the veggie grape leaves!
The food is so delicious and the customer service is great as well!
The selection and quality of food is on point I highly recommend
Delicious food and fresh , and best service.
Their falafels and shawarma are really good.
Great food and awesome Baklavas!!
I can honestly say this is my favorite restaurant in all of FIU. The food is delicious amd the staff is very friendly and helpful. I go there all of the time!
Almazar is one of the most pleasant places to be in Kendall. I love the food, the seating is very comfortable, and the staff is always kind.
The food is always, always good. I get the chicken platter with the lettuce and hummus 👌🏼+ that garlic butter and pita 🔥please. I’m devastated having moved away from the location that I can’t go back and get food from here and haven’t been able to find anything like it 15/10⭐️
The bad reviews tell of a story about not liking the food, whether it is bad/stale falafel, or they have had better Mediterranean cuisine elsewhere. The good reviews speak of no line, better quality food, delicious food, and good service. Though some negative reviews make assumptions, like the falafel being pre-made (as if to say it was something that was pre bought and not homemade) even though a customer cannot tell if it was such. Based on the reviews, this place seems worth a try, since if you like it, it’s an efficient place to get delicious food. Personally, I have been there myself and find it quite convenient location wise since it is tucked away in a cozy corner, away from people’s eyes, additionally I find the same reports as the positive reviews. Though I do understand the limited options as mentioned in a negative review, it also makes the decision making easy for my indecisive brain. Additionally, a lot of the negative reviews seem to be nit-picking on one specific thing they dislike, which is understandable, but not worthy of making someone turn away from the establishment. Furthermore, the guy running the place is quite nice. It even has plenty of vegan or vegetarian options, as well as gluten-free, dairy-free and even carnivorous (if you so pleased) though it is not specifically advertised to the customers. To further explain, other establishments often make these “alternative” synthetic foods that are specifically marketed to people of certain diets, which people often given mixed reviews on — but the food provided here is naturally available for the limited diet and is able to give one many options for one's diet. It’s good food and a good place, try it if you haven’t.
I love this place! Here’s the deal. FIU has many food options that are always packed! And when you’re trying to grab a quick lunch and go, yeah it’s no going to work out. Here comes Almazar with their efficiency and productivity knocking down the long lines like it’s nobody’s business. Lines at this place are a myth because I’ve never seen one. The food is bomb and relatively healthy too. Im not a vegetarian or vegan but I think they have some nice options for them too which is always nice. Don’t bother with anything else Almazar’s got you covered
Almazar got me through undergrad. I can always count on this place for a filling and healthy meal. Love itt
Excellent food! Sweetest guy behind the counter. Amazing hummus & meat (coming from someone who’s always hated hummus)!
This place is amazing! I just had a falafel sandwich/wrap from them and it is mouthwatering! Definitely a must have when at FIU.
One of the best places on campus and severely underrated. The staff are the most friendly I've met on campus, and the food is amazing. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere is wonderful. I love this place and I get sad knowing more people don't come here. It's like a hidden gem.
i cannot believe it took me until a month before graduation to discover how delicious Almazar is. i always got their lentil soup when i was feeling under the weather because of how easy it is on the stomach, and how warm and comforting it is. but recently i tried their falafel sandwich/wrap and i am HOOKED! if i had more than one class a week at fiu, i would be eating a dozen of them. the falafel is some of the best i’ve ever tasted and the wrap is incredible. i’ll miss this place once i graduate— it’s an absolute gem with very kind workers :)
Ok Almazar is the most wholesome place on campus - the food is super fresh and it’s worker (family) owned and operated. Their wraps are the most affordable option I’ve found in campus. To a reviewer who marked one star and said food was good but complained of service - first, not true at all, and second - people don’t owe you a song and dance!! Thank you Almazar for feeding me when I just can’t pack a lunch!!!
The food is great and actually flavorful in comparison to other Mediterranean resturants in Miami. The service is quick and the staff are very nice. I highly recommend the chicken and falafel sandwiches. The chicken is very tender, nicely spiced, and complimented with tahini sauce. The vegetables add a fresh taste and crunch to the sandwiches.

Nice food.
Good quality fast food and good value for the price.
The place is not bad. I think the place in FIU where you can find halal food. The taste is ok but not the best. Moreover, I felt like dishes are a bit overpriced.

Average restaurant, needs improvement on taste and service.
Decent food, alright service, limited options.
I tried the falafel sandwich. Its avg. Falafel was premade, and didnt like that. Last resort filled the tummy. Havent tried the chicken dishes. Not sure if I'll come back.. 😬

I don't feel this is one of the best arabic restaurants I tried. Few of their options are good and I would easily recommend another restaurant in the same building
I was not impressed at all by the hummus, tabaouli and falafels. It was so bad I didn't even finish it.
Frozen food!!!!! You have a better option inside campus!
Schwarma is over seasoned and tough, rice is bland, yogurt sauce tastes like sour milk. Only redeeming factor is that the salad tastes like it uses fresh vegetables but the store bought dressing poured all over it screws it over.

Too spicy
the food is good but they have very bad customer service
Unfriendly staff, cold very little and tasteless food and overall bad atmosphere this place. Do not recommend at all
I think because we’re students they think it’s ok to be rude and handle the food without care.
