You can take your time and see what you truly want. I don't know if they always do that or just because it wasn't so busy. The burger may be on the pricier side but it's well worth it. My only gripe is that these burgers are waaayy too good to be served with these wack fries. The current fries are dusted with flour. Please switch those out for steak fries or crinkle fries to serve with those amazing burgers. Location is great..there is outdoor seating so you can people watch.

Bomb as* food ! Food was made to order. Great seasoning and portion size. Price points were slightly above average but would say worth it! You can add your own toppings to burgers - like a salad bar which was new fun thing! Only annoying thing is we have to pay .50¢ per side of dipping sauces - we did get tenders and fries, I feel they should be complimentary with those very universal dippable food options! THOUGH sweet potatoes were the best ever had! Staff was nice n efficient.

This was our second successful Uber eats purchase. We got a little hungry later in the evening. Luckily Fat Ronnie’s is open until 11. Not a huge selection of burgers, but you are able to add sauces and topics which leaves limitless possibilities. There are also other delicious options on the menu. The food arrived quickly and warm. Burgers were wrapped in aluminum foil to make sure they stayed hot. The fries weren’t as hot, but were crispy and delicious. I had a fat Ronnie and added guacamole and chipotle to mine. I think this burger is a great value because you’re able to add guacamole for free. Most places give an up charge. My wife got portobello on hers, also no charge. Overall great value for what you get. More importantly, the burger was friggin delicious. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I tasted the juices pouring out of every bite. The guacamole on top of was creamy and smooth. There was so much I was able to take a spoonful and tasted by itself. It was better than some Mexican restaurants Guacamole. Huge surprise. Just an amazing experience at Fat Ronnie’s . One of the best burger places I have ever eaten from. I highly recommend if you are just visiting Miami or live here. Five huge stars!

The best burger in South Beach! My wife and I walked the few blocks up to the corner of Lincoln and West on the advice of local residents on a Facebook group. And what a great recommendation it was! The burger was fresh, delicious, and cooked perfectly. The lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp and the toasted bun was amazing. The service was just as awesome as the burger. The restaurant was super clean and inaccessible vibrant location. I highly recommend. The cheese fries were a great side, too! Thanks Fat Ronnie's for a great meal!

THE LOBSTER ROLL IS AMAZING! Worth every penny! They put ALOT of lobster on this roll. (I actually ate a few pieces off before taking this picture.) The lightly sweet toasted roll they put it on is good as well. The onion rings are really good too. That yellow sauce you see didn’t come with the food. It’s Chick-fil-A Sauce and it goes GREAT with the lobster roll and the onion rings. Highly recommended.

We are regulars at Fat Ronnie’s Martha’s Vineyard every Fall when we visit from Arizona. My wife loves their burgers but for me it’s the Lobster Roll. Best lobster rolls in New England in my opinion..... Today we visited the Miami Beach location and they did not disappoint. I can now say that I’ve had the best Lobster Roll in Florida as well. We will now be seasonal regulars at both locations...

OMG!!! I’m not even a big burger fan, but damn Ronnie, I can’t get enough. Burgers buns are toasted on the grill, the meat is spectacular, I had a burger with bacon and cheese. The bacon was thick good quality bacon. Hubby had portobello mushroom burger, and that was great too. The fries and wings are great too, But I’m not a fan of the cheese fries. Besides that, I can’t wait to go back for more

I was pleasantly surprised to see Fat Ronnie's on my last trip to Miami! I had eaten at the one in Martha's Vineyard and remembered it being the best burger that I have even had. I ate there 2x on my trip and had the Portobello Burger and the Fish and Chips. Love the sides too. This is a great place for a top notch burger. This is probably the best burger I’ve ever had in my 43 years on this earth. No exaggeration! I let my son pick a place and he choose this place. I was a little skeptical at first, we just ordered what we usually order as far as burgers. Wow, you will know what I mean at first bite. Fresh beef, toasted bun, real American cheese, cooked onions!!! super crispy bacon, OMG!!! The fries were just ok. On to the milkshake, another wow! Might be the best milk shake also. A must go if you are in the area! May go back before I leave Miami, yes it’s that good!!!! Just go!!

What can I say, by far this is THE BEST burger in Miami Beach. I tried the caramelized onion and my wife tried the portobello and oh boy! both of them were simply fire! Huge portions, fast service, great customer service but the quality is what will definitely bring me back every Friday. And don't get me started about those fries! my wife got the sweet potato fries and I even liked those. Amazing! i'm glad they opened next to my house.

Best fast-food burger I have had in a long time. Well cooked and juicy. Just some constructive criticism as there very few customers on a Saturday evening, while both places next door was completely full. The place seems too industrial and lacks some coziness and warmth (Miami Beach vibe). Also the name Fat Ronnies doesn't go to well in a place where everyone is trying to stay fit and healthy.

My servers name is Laura she made excellent shots and the chefs made the best smoked bacon burger. My first visit to Miami and the food is great. I will return before I go home to California.

Walked passed Fat Ronnie’s a million times. It’s away dead. One day I go in for a bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. OMG sooooooooo good!!! The bun! Usually not really talked about if done good. But when done exceptionally, a game changer. I’m not sure if the bun or the patty itself is better. Together they are transcendental. Finally tried the $32. Lobster roll. Even more mind blowing then the burger. Over flowing with meat, after 20 bites your finally down to the bun. My mind was totally blown, how is this place not packed. Wow what a hidden gem!!!! Coming a couple times a week now.

Fat Ronnie's is probably the best quality for the price Burger on Miami Beach. The burgers are really big and use high quality ingredients - a nice thick patty, really good bacon etc. Once they are done making whatever Burger you ordered they will put any additional toppings on there for free, five-guys style. I would never have put banana peppers on a burger if I hadn't seen it on their burger bar, but now I get them every time. They have perfected some new secret burger technology that keep the sandwich from getting soggy or falling apart not matter how much you load them up with extra stuff. They have other basic fare like subs, wings and mac and cheese which are also all big and high quality. Also cocktails. Go to Fat Ronnie's.

One burger with cheese fries and a beer was more than enough for two. The burger was 1/2 lbs or bigger. Awesome cheese fries have a light batter coating and with excellent cheese sauce. This was one of the best hamburger meals ever. Signs say Angus Burgers 5 Generation old business, it sure tastes like it. Never know about the timing of seafood so I always ask what's best and the response was we have excellent burgers so that was my go to.

Best burgers we’ve ever had hands down! We went to Fat Ronnie’s by chance during our stay in Miami. We did not expect to have such a delicious meal! We ordered burgers, wings, fries, and onion rings and every item was beyond delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. The owner Ronnie was working the bar when we ordered drinks and was a pleasure to meet. He made all of our drinks to perfection and even made us custom drinks when we asked him to “surprise us”. The seating outside was comfortable and we ended up staying for a couple hours enjoying the atmosphere, drinks, and great food. Anyone in the Miami area looking for a delicious meal should absolutely check this place out. We will be coming back every time we visit Miami!

I was on vacation and came across this restaurant my last day in Miami. I’m a very picky eater so it was difficult to satisfy me. This restaurant was my favorite. I had a turkey burger and fries. OMG! I’ve never had such a delicious burger. It was huge. 2 people can eat off 1 burger. If I’d found Fat Ronnie’s in the beginning this would have been the only place I’d eaten at. The customer service was awesome. Very friendly and professional. The restaurant is very clean and neat. At first I was thinking the burger was a bit pricey but one I bit into it, it’s worth every penny. I wish we had a Fat Ronnie’s here in Atlanta. I can’t stop thinking about my turkey burger. An elevated, clean, friendly, posh burger and hot dog eatery. Well worth the walk from the east side of Lincoln to the west side. The hot dog was tasty and great quality, and presented on a seared brioche bun. The onion fries were perfectly seasoned so that no dipping sauce was needed. The fries also had seasoning and were cooked to a lightly breaded, flaky crust. Excellent all around. And if you’re ever north in Massachusetts, you will find the same establishment in Martha’s Vineyard. Great addition to South Beach.

The food is amazing. Bring your appetite because the burgers are huge. The onion rings, sweet potato fries, and tostones are a must. I really wish I would have tried the lobster roll. They have a bar side and a dining room for families. If I am ever back in Miami I will be visiting again.

Great spot! Excellent burger and so happy to be supporting a family owned and run business. The burger is absolutely delicious with perfectly crunchy delicious bacon, it’s a smash burger patty and I can’t wait to go back and try more of their items because their whole menu looks like you can do no wrong. Really cool is that at the side of the bar there is a speakeasy that looks like you’re walking into a meat locker but it’s actually a really cute bar with well-made cocktails, I had a cucumber Mojito which was fresh and refreshing. How good could a burger place really be?? Really good! In fact, quite great! My bacon and cheese burger was big, juicy and cooked to perfection. You can select from a wide array of fresh toppings and when I was done adding the chipotle mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles, the burger was as as tall as my hand. My friends and I couldn’t decide between the yucca fries and sweet potato fries so we had them both. They were served piping hot out of the fryer, complemented by a nice aioli on the side. We also shared the lobster roll as a starter. :-) The abundance of fresh lobster meat, lightly dressed on a hot buttered bun was finger licking good. As an added bonus, the hospitality was warm, friendly and attentive. We had a fantastic meal and can’t wait to go back!

While on Holiday in Miami Beach my family and I decided to try Fat Ronnie’s and it was soooo good! What surprised me is that they have 3 different veggie burger Pattie’s to choose from which was great for my family of mostly vegetarians. My son had their bbq bacon burger and was very satisfied! They have an amazing selection of burger toppings!!! We went back the next day to get more burger and fries and Carlos provided great customer service (Mango Margaritas are a MUST!). We will definitely come back when we are in the area again!

Excellent burgers!!! An order of fries is plenty for at least 2 people. The Caesar salad is HUGE! It's big enough to feed a whole family, whew!

Quality burgers . Not greasy or heavy and fresh ingredients. Also bonus- they have local beers on tap. Met the owner and he was a nice, humble guy. Didn’t try to sell us anything just nice convo and even recommended some local places. Will be back for the lobster roll!!

Amazing and huge burgers of all kinds. Everything from heart-stopping beef dripping in cheese and bacon to turkey and vegan options! A little pricey for burgers BUT I do not regret one penny. Also! Get the cheese fries! It’s worth it! 🤤

Excellent food! They use seasoning, quality buns, quality tasty burgers and all the fixins you could ever want. Milk shakes are present and various, reg fries were seasoned fries. My son had the fish and chips and was satisfied and he knows good food. Btw FULL BAR! I didnt know till i was leaving thought it was only beer(5$ drafts) This is now an official Monthly if not more frequent ritual for me since "thats mine burgers" closed down and found this on Hungry blackman Blog. Worth the price for quality non fast food burger and fries on the beach you expect to pay around 20$ after its all said and done. The owner is from a family line of butchers n burger spot runners and it shows in the quality of food and service. I will be back, I will highly recommend, and will bring visitors from out of town. Great job great place. Oh! And the music selection is very civilized and reminiscent 80s 90s occasional oldie Goldie.

Amazing carmelized onion cheese burger. 3x the size of a shake shack burger and 5x more delicious. Sweet potato fries and vanilla shake were a great addition!

OMG this burgers are amazing, the homemade soda its so nice too, if you want to eat a really good burger you can’t miss this place!

Maybe it’s weird to list the margaritas first, but their margs are awesome! Also great burgers! I really like the sweet potato fries — some places serve them kind of soggy but here they’re crispy and delish.

I've been eating burgers for 45+ years and this is was one of my top three burger experiences! The self made soft drinks is a nice touch too!

Overall, this a good / almost great place. The only thing holding me back from a 5 star review is that they only offer one size of burger, and it's big. We've been here twice. Once we got burgers and the Mac. Our second excursion featured the chicken tenders, cheese fries and onion rings. First time: I would never recommend the Mac and cheese, just not good / not worth the price. The burger was good but was just so much food. It's like if five guys had one thick 1/2 pound patty. They offer a lot of toppings. But it would be nice if you could just get a 1/4 pound burger and fries with out needing to gorge yourself. Second trip: the fried chicken tenders were delicious; had the buffalo sauce and garlic parm sauce. Garlic parm was a bit too runny but the Buffalo complimented the seasonings on the chicken tenders perfectly. The highlight for me tho was the cheese sauce on the cheese fries. It was perfect. Beer battered fries, would highly recommend. I personally wouldn't recommend the onion rings, but my wife loves them. I find them a little too doughy. In sum, would recommend.

Really good food, nice little bar - food is really delicious, and the side bar is cute but seems like an afterthought that they can't really decide what to do with. If you want great burger, fries, or chicken sandwich, they're the best in the neighborhood!

Surprisingly good food. Lots of veggie options. They cook the bun and the patty and you fill the burger in. Not a great margarita. Also big negative there's the burger joint and a bar next to it but they could not really handle both at the same even though it was practically empty.

Had the amazing Caramelized Onion Burger (added bacon) after an active Sunday funday on South Beach. Delicious, fresh and well seasoned 😉. Huge size (shared it with the Mrs and still full). 4stars rating only because I feel the service could be better and more attentive to customers needs especially for the pricey amount for just 1 burger and fries.

After I orderd I went back and asked do I get to pick how I want my burger prepared she said I could have medium or well done. The other things I didn't enjoy were - 1. There was a large speaker hanging from the cieling by the speaker wires 2. Theres a bar with a couple of bottles of hard liquor on display but I couldn't tell if you could order a cocktail 3. There were some banks of lights off and one back corner where there was a tv on but lights off and a tarp around the area 4. The food isn't served in a tray, at least mine wasn't, just gave a me a burger weapped in foil and a cup of fries. I saw some people get theres in a basket. 5. My final gripe is the size of the fountain soft drink, its very small and you cant serve yourself. They have great fries but the portions of fries is bigger than the soft drink. Maybe they have different sizes but I wasn't given a choice when ordering and the drink they gave seemed like it was in a child's cup. I would visit again cause the food is good, but I hope they pay better attention to the details.

I'm confused how this place gets good reviews. Perhaps people like eating a pile of salt on a dry burger. Actually the fish, chicken, fries and onion rings were all good so that's why I'm giving 3 stars. But it's a burger joint! 5 guys and shake shack blow this place out of the water.

It was okay. $10 for this tiny drink and cheese fries. Wasn't a big fan of whatever type of cheese they use. The root beer was good though, wish there had been more for the cost.

Cleanliness, customer service, and the preparation of the food has declined over the last few months. The quality used to be so outstanding. Trash is consistently left on tables long after people leave and the restaurant frequently looks like it's in disarray and uncared for. Which is strange because it's never really busy and the workers are usually just standing around. Recent hires have brought down the vibe entirely. Came by to watch a game on Saturday and the person working was unhelpful in finding the right channel - felt like we were really bothering them by being there. Front desk and cook area was left unattended for awhile after we ordered so we stood around waiting for them to come out from the back. When they did step up front again, we were able to ask for additional condiments to which she told us they were an up charge. Just really unhelpful and unkind in her tone. After we sat back down with no additional condiments, her and the cook proceeded to stand at the bar and eat a meal together. They were laughing and having a great time together, which is cool but when we needed to order something more or had a question, the smile dropped and she took on a chilly attitude again. No hospitality in the last few visits. We left at halftime because it felt so off-putting to be inside. We didn't even finish what we ordered because it was cooked so poorly in comparison to prior visits. Tried to find an email to let the owner know instead of writing a review! Hopefully things turn around.

Place was EMPTY on a Friday. Food was horrible. Saw pictures of the fish and chips and thought great it looks well seasoned. It was just horrible. No seasoning. Fries were not fresh cut. McDonald’s had better fries. Milkshake was okay. Wasn’t made with strawberries, just strawberry sauce and regular vanilla ice cream. Service was just as bad as the food. The boy was nice but the lady, not personable.
