As one of the only places truly capable,. of not just tapping into the scenic dining experiences the Bayside Inlet is known for providing, but also an accessible menu ; with the host being flavor, into the wide range of gustatory and olfactory delight the Caribbean and Canjun descendants of the Americans are historically known for providing 😋, i am delighted to bring to your attention the amazing food, drinks and customer experience of Margaritaville Bayside. Ok that's the most of my big brain anyone gets before I start writing a food review site. So let's gets to it From the very first steps up to the bar from the front porch, I felt like i was stepping onto one of the many yachts or cruise ships circling in the port just behind me. Even walking in at 11 30 on a Thanksgiving its a good amount of people here. Gotta be decent right? RIGHT! I hadn't even made it past the bar before I was greeted by 3 different employees, once by the bartender and once by a server and a host just walking in. Buddy I've eaten in luxury restaurants not sitting in a tourist venue on a Thanksgiving already busy 30 mins into the restaurant opening... so let's just say I was "above impressed " as my intro into the place. I was offered a bar or a booth, i slide into my bench and start my war with the menu. I say war, because even though I don't really suffer from any dietary restrictions (other than , ewww that's nasty) I battle with indecisiveness when it comes to good food. The eastern border of taste was being represented by a pacific stir-fry bowl , with them broccoli I like!.. flash fried vegetables lil teriyaki sauce and the chicken over the rice, a hit! But end the it was the Caribbean that won. That summer taste beat my hunger into a willing retreat, and through combined efforts of Jimmy's jammin' jambalaya , set of his jerk Caribbean wings( extra sauce) and a tall bottle of Landshark to wash it down, the afternoon lunch/ dinner war of 2025 Thanksgiving was won.
So the wife and I were touring Bayside for the first time and we decided to have an appetizer and a few cocktails at Margaritaville. We got ourselves a Memorial Cup for Jimmy as well as the Cajun Shrimp Dip and Coconut Shrimp. Gellisa (Lisa) took care of us at the bar and she was so fun, on point and a great bartender. If you see her, sit at her side of the bar and you are good to have a great time.
You can never go wrong with Margaritaville! Always a fun time. And the volcano nachos… SO GOOD
Lovely place to eat and drink, the cocktails are amazing. Delicious jerk salmon, yum. Take a walk around here, there are lovely little restaurants and shops along the river.
The portion sizes here are generous. I had the Beach Club sandwich and the BBQ combo. I only made it through two of the three club sandwiches, and my son ate most of his meal, only leaving a few ribs. He mentioned they could’ve used more sauce. The atmosphere is great, and if you sit outside, you can enjoy some beautiful water views depending on your spot. One thing to note is that an 18% gratuity was included in the bill, which is good to be aware of. Overall, a solid place to enjoy a filling meal with a nice vibe.
Special all day $16.99 delicious bacon cheese burger with fríes and soda/beer Nice place at bayside right in front of the chicago view ,excelent service, tips already included in the bill.

I ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich and it tasted like one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had. Not only that but it was a pretty good size portion you get so it really felt like it was worth the price. My server was fantastic and the views of the bay were fantasticer. My only problem was actually getting to here, with traffic and parking. Some people claim that there’s a woman to blame, but I know this is everybody’s fault (doot doot doo do do🎵)
My food was amazing. I ordered the chicken taco lunch special with chips and salsa. Paired it with a tsunami drink. The drink hit, it was tart and strong. The tacos fabulous good portion side. The chips were delish and the salsa had a little kick to it. My waiter started off strong but as soon as I had my food done it took 15 or more minutes then I had to flag him down So I don't think the forced 5 dollar gratuity on my 35 dollar bill was deserving. The lovely lady in the souvenir shop was awesome. We had a conversation about never finding either of our unique names on shot glasses or any type of souvenir. Jaewea was really nice.
The food and customer service was outstanding! Ivy was an amazing server who was very at my partys requests! Johnny was very nice and polite, although we came to the restaurant near closing time! Definitely had an amazing experience and will return to this establishment on our next vacation to Miami!!!
Angel & Wayne were the best servers/bartenders at margarita ville. Our first time visiting Miami & they did not disappoint. Interacting with customers & made very good drinks. 10/10 would recommend coming here !!
Were walking around Bayfront Park and decided to find a place for lunch that offered gluten free options and wasn’t too far walking. We were pleasantly surprised to find Margaritaville which has gluten free items clearly marked on the menu, including gluten free buns. When I asked about the fries, they told us that they have a separate fryer for the french fries. As we walked in we noticed you can sit inside or outside and we had the luck of nabbing a table with a great view. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich (gluten free bun) and my partner ordered the crab cake sandwich. I enjoyed my sandwich–it was nothing special really, but the bread was pretty soft for being gluten free and I’m always happy when I can safely have fries, too! My partner didn’t love his sandwich and said it was just okay. Overall was really happy to have found this location with gluten free options and a nice view. Would consider going back if in the area again.
Stopped in for some drinks before brunch because we are brilliant people...the outdoor seating is abundant and inviting and we were glad we stopped. I had a few frozen blueberry pomegranate margaritas and would definitely recommend one! The star of the show was Alex though! Alex was very attentive and far more polished than most service with just drinks. We all agreed Alex was a highlight and he really made our afternoon! As good as the ambiance on the water and the great cocktails, Alex was my motivation to review today and hope his day was as great as ours!
Food was amazing! Eric was great! Had to come back before we hit the airport!
Stopped for a quick bite to eat and a beer along with a margarita for my wife. It was a rainy day but it didn't matter the nachos were massive and the best margarita and so friendly staff, can't wait to go back.
Service was superb, food was more than adequate and prices were fair. Speciality cocktails were terrific….many to choose from. Nice setting on the water and music in background was pleasing. Worth the trip if you enjoy theme based restaurants.
Angel and Nemo and keny were amazing and took great care of us. They were friendly and personable. Some Of the best we have been around.
angel and keni were the best bartenders in bayside! so helpful and funny! they made me a perfect margarita and i loved it!
Keni and Angel were amazing! They created some shots we loved it! I’m going to come back just for them! Thank you Guys! We spend a good amount of time there until last minute and we had so much fun!
First time to this establishment after 20 years cruising from Miami. Lisa was our server at the bar. She was friendly, great service, great drinks and good food recommendations. Best service in 2 days visiting and having our meals at Bayside.
Our server was awesome!!! On point with the orders and the food was served nice and hot. The drink was everything some Ruby Red grapefruit thing...it was awesome especially with the Tito's....we were a big group and the server had no problem splitting the bill. The food was great! Simple and good!!! I will definitely come back on my next visit!!!
We stopped here to grab nachos and some drinks after a boat ride on the ocean. I love the location so close to the shoreline with so many things to observe while sitting on the patio. Our server was really energetic, kind and quick. Overall, the food was delicious and our drinks were cold and good quality! I was also impressed that our server asked if we had dietary restrictions as soon as we ordered; this was a nice touch.

Eric was a most excellent server and our food was fantastic! Food arrived as ordered and hot vs the room temp food we have been getting many places. The chicken stir fry deserves special mention—rice was perfectly done, chicken crispy outside and tender and juicy inside, and the SAUCE!!! I will order this again for certain.
Eric was an amazing server and waiter. He helped us with her daughters food, allergies and was very informative about the Miami area. We appreciate the care he provided.
Lots of Margaritaville restaurant/bar locations worldwide, here is the one in downtown Miami, with video... I opted for the frozen variety, which I found out, they premix prior, with several bottles of alcohol, get the core margarita mix done, and simply add your favorite flavor to it when ready to serve... Lots of outside seating with spectacular views of Port Miami... Don't feel like sweating outside? Go upstairs to a HUGE space, with large glass windows, with an even better view... all featured in both pics and videos here... I had a frozen mango margarita (video), and also caught the prep and delivery of an "Its Five 'O Clock Somewhere" drink... looks wicked...
This place is in a great location. It has indoor and outdoor seating with a great view of the bay. They also have an indoor and outdoor bar. The service was great, the cocktails were a little weak and the food was very good. It was hard to choose which restaurant to eat at with so many choices nearby but, this place was good, no big complaints, other than the drinks.
Had a great experience here today, after traveling to Miami from Virginia. We were sat and then greeted by our server Carolina, who was genuine, kind, and straight to the point which was great because we were very tired and very hungry. Her service maintained that same energy throughout our time there and it made all the difference. You can tell Carolina knows her shit, and doesn’t take any either! Thank you!
My experience at Margaritaville in Bayside was exceptional. I came in with my family and from the minute my family and I arrived we were greeted by the manager Raul who was very welcoming. His enthusiasm brought us in. He introduced our server and proceeded to attend to the restaurant. The server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I saw the manager also multitasking as he was attending the hostess stand as well as the kitchen and made sure our food came out on time. Thank you Raul and his team for making our time at Margaritaville amazing. Our family had a great time.
Our waiter Eric was absolutely welcoming and very conversational, we came 2 days in a row before our flight! They are very complimentary, the food is some of the best food I’ve had while traveling this last week. The drinks are delicious I highly recommend the garlic aoli burger! 🫶🏻

Service wasn’t bad but they were running slow on 1/4/26. Food was delicious. I had to send my Long Island Iced Tea back and get another drink because it tasted like a glass of Cola instead of alcohol with soda as an ingredient. Our waiter was a very nice person and made every attempt to provide good service but the forces of nature were against him. Overall, it was a decent experience.
I always make it a point to visit a Margaritaville when I'm near one on vacation. This is located in a nice area with multiple shops and boats you can take trips on. Service was a little slow as there was only 1 bartender who was also waitressing tables. I recommend getting the Volcano Nachos. Retail store had some good offerings but be aware the price on the shirts is wrong and you'll be charged slightly more. I don't agree with that as they should charge how it's marked.
The food was average and the server took forever just to come and take our order and forever to bring our drinks. The view of the water and activities around the restaurant was good.
The service was very slow and we had to keep asking for things (silverware, our food, napkins). The food was average, decent burger.

We had. Very large group of 30 people including children and they were more than accommodating. Our food came out quickly and was good. The server was fantastic!
The restaurant looks clean, the food was delicious and the price is ok. ⚠️I asked a drink perfect Margarita but it was not so good and my plate was jambalaya it was perfect. My hubby ordered hamburger 🍔 what has the meat as he asked , the hamburger size was huge and he said it was delicious.
The food was tasty. My husband and Mum had the cheeseburger and I had the club sandwich, it was huuuuuuge!!!! Our server was really busy (running up and down, inside and outside) but still managed to pay us some attention (we got our refills!!) The place looks great, music is good and views (if you are lucky enough to be close to a window) are nice! I took one star off because there were only two “family restrooms” on the first floor and I had to wait 10 min to use one! When my husband tried to use the restrooms on the second floor, he was rudely told by a waiter/manager that the second floor was off limits! Not wanting to wait 10 min to pee, we just left… Oh, and they automatically charge 18% in gratuity!
It was all right. We waited for 40 minutes to get a table and watch people get placed ahead of us. And that really kind of set the tone. They were out of a lot of things on the menu. But what they had was pretty good.
It’s the run of the mill Margaritaville experience. We went to see the Bayside New Years Eve show and decided to eat here to watch the Ferris wheel and take a rest from all the walking. We used the Brightline to get there from Orlando so it was on-foot we went from the train station. If you use the metro mover it’s not a far walk at all. Bayside is a nice park, clean and has a lot of shopping and restaurants. Back to Margaritaville… the seating was nice, there weren’t many people there but it’s a nice waterfront view and right next to the Ferris wheel. The normal American menu is in store (burgers and bar food mostly) which is nice food. It also has a cute souvenir shop on the way out we grabbed a blanket at. Service was a little slow and we lost our server a few times (needed refills, extra sauces and our ticket) but overall wasn’t a bad experience.
We were here when it opened at 11:00. Our server was fantastic. The food was very good. We had the beach club sandwich x 2 and the finish tacos. The only negative comment was both the club sandwiches came with cold sweet potato waffle fries. They were very flavourful and would have been excellent if they had been hot or warm at least. We didn't eat them. The sandwich itself was huge. 2 people could easily share. The fish tacos were excellent. Loved the sauce as it had a little kick. Would definitely have them again. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't anything offered to us at all for the cold fries. Just a shrug of the shoulder and an "I'm sorry the fries were cold". We had club sodas with our meal one or 2 of those drinks could have been comped since they are probably on a soda gun and inexpensive. The next time we are back in Miami we will give it another try.
**Caution: Double-Check Your Receipt and Bank Statement!** Our recent visit to Margaritaville was a mixed experience. While the food was decent and our server, Eric, provided excellent service, we did have some concerns. The nachos were enormous and easily fed both my husband and me, although we would have appreciated a bit more meat. The drinks were a bit pricey but tasted good! However, upon reviewing our receipt and bank statement after returning home from vacation, we noticed a significant discrepancy. Our receipt indicated a gratuity of $23, bringing the total to $167, but our bank statement reflected a charge of $201. Even accounting for a potential 20% additional tip, the final amount still doesn’t align with what was stated on the receipt. Whether it's a $5 or $25 difference, it raises questions about the accuracy of the final charge. We just wanted to share this experience to encourage others to verify their receipts and bank statements for peace of mind.
Not what’s expected due to the famous name. Only positive is our waitress. Food was just okay. We had the cheeseburger, appetizer trio, and Mac n cheese. Egg roll was burnt on one side. Spinach and artichoke dip was okay. Chicken tender was the only moist item. Cheeseburger was good. Mac and cheese wasn’t cheesy enough. I ordered the Mountain Margarita and it tasted like Gatorade with cherries spiked. Dining area seems to be leaking from the ceiling a lot so they have a fan to dry the floors. The condensation from the air vents are dripping quite a bit. Overall it’s not bad but not enough to get us back unfortunately. Sorry.
Nice place next to the water. Very friendly nice bartender. Came in for lunch n sat by outside bar. Had fresh Landshark on draft n lunch special. Priced was reasonable for the area. 20% grad automatic on bill. Looking forward to going back

The food wasn't good and served late making it cold but the view was awesome. The jerk wings were the only thing that tasted great
Normally I don't do reviews on restaurants and bars but this one had me quite upset. We only had 2 beers and 2 margaritas and were charged an automatic 18% gratuity. I always do the math before receiving the bill to make sure that it is right. I noticed it was way off. The problem i have is that when I went to pay with my credit card, the slip was asking for a tip. I actually would have tipped more than the 18% because the servers were very friendly but because of the lack of transparency on the automatic gratuity and trying to deceive me into double tipping, I declined. Tipping culture is totally out of control and it's becoming absurd. If you are going to charge automatic gratuities there should be signs everywhere and the servers should let the customers know this before they order.
Lunch for two. Service was a little slow. Took almost a hour for food. Good spot to watch the wheel and water craft. We had fish tacos & coconut shrimp both decent. Food was the usual Margaritaville. 3 stars for the slower side of service and lack of. No offer for refills on empty tea glasses. Otherwise higher stars. The gratuity is added into the bill not a fan of this at all and seems to be the norm in the area.
Cool location! Food was pretty ok, burger and fries where much better than the 22$ nachos, talk about a waste, nothing on the lower layers so it is just a pile of ok chips. Drinks where good but took a long time to show up. A place i wanted to go checked off my list but hopefully in not the representation of this chain as a whole…
We went here last week and enjoyed the view, environment, and food. But one problem. Idk if this is restaurant wide issue or our server. When we got our check, everything looked normal. We asked to pay with Apple Pay, and our server brought the tab machine. When he was ready, I simply tap my iPhone. After that…he was just going to leave, saying have a good night. We were all confused. “What about the tip? What about the receipt?” I mean don’t people usually get the receipt, leave a tip, and sign? When we asked about the receipt, he said their tap machine doesn’t print the receipt. So I said we needed the receipt cause this was business meal. He went inside the restaurant, saying he’s gonna ask his manager. He came back shortly with the receipts, but didn’t even give me a pen or anything. So I looked at the receipt and found that he had charged a credit card surcharge and 20% tip by himself. And that 20% tip was not only charged to the food, but also charged to the surcharge!! If the food was $10 and surcharge was $1, 20% to $11 was charged as a tip. Why on the earth I’m paying the surcharge? No one explained to us. And why am I paying tip to the surcharge? Ridiculous.
We came in as a party of 17, and our server Alexa was incredible from start to finish. She was friendly and attentive but unfortunately our experience fell short due to short staff. One server for 5 large parties is ridiculous and led to cold food and long wait times. This wasn’t a service issue—it was a staffing and management issue. We counted 5 large parties just on the patio with no food or drink runners. Our food was cold and our drinks were watered down. Watching our server run up and down stairs beat red is not enjoyable and unfortunately leads me to less than 5 stars. We will be back and asking for Alexa but hopefully this place starts backing its workers sooner rather than later!!
Our server, Christian, was fabulous! He was personable & accommodating. We shared the nachos & a bottle of wine (I know, great combo ;) ). Would recommend serving a bottle of white wine in a bucket to keep it chilled. No bucket was offered. Nachos were just a pile of chips with the toppings just on the top & sides. The upstairs dining room with the views was closed, so sat on the patio on the lower level. Views blocked by tour buses. Good experience, but could've been better. All no fault of Christian's. He is great!! Pics of great looking nachos & what they look like once the top layer is picked off. Hope this helps.

I went with my family yesterday and specifically chose Margaritaville because I wanted a great Margarita. That wasn’t the case at all. I requested a spicy mango margarita and the server upsold me to the large. It was the worst margarita I’ve had. I couldn’t finish it and did not ask for a refund. It didn’t taste like mango and didn’t look like a margarita. I did let the server know my dissatisfaction and just left the cup. Also, I went to use the bathroom and it was extremely nasty. I’m not sure why it was so nasty on a Tuesday night. They were not busy at all and only had guest sitting outside on the first level. Why come to a place named Margaritaville and they don’t know how to make margaritas? Also, I ordered 2 appetizers for my family but all the food came out at once. The
What a disappointment! Horrible food! I used to go to maragarita ville in key west and in Hollywood. This one seems to have a different owner, different chef, different providers. I've asked for a veggie burger. It was so tasteless, so poorly presented, so disgusting that we've barely ate it.... The waiter, on the other hand, was nice, Even though we've waited 30 minutes to get our food. No. I don't recommend this place!
No issues with the food, but the fine print on the menus state they have an 18% auto-tip which can be altered. After the meal, the server stated the menus weren’t all updated and the 18% can’t be removed. The receipt requests another tip in addition to the 18%. Getting a potential +36% from customers who might not notice the double dip seems really disingenuous. The front of house person was aaabsolutely incredible for what it’s worth!
Waiter saw the table was rocking as she continued to place drink on the table that spilled all over my leg. Food took close to 40 minutes when it wasn’t busy and everything was cold. Also took forget to get the check. Everything is overpriced and more that the typical Miami overprice. They also added a tip without letting us know beforehand
Our waiter was the ONLY one working, had more than 5 tables running around trying to get everything for everyone. Over our hour or so sit down for dinner, I think we saw him for less than a minute just to take our order... When it came time to leave, I had tried to get his attention several times to let him know I found a short black hair in my food (I was with two other ladies who have long brown hair, so it couldnt have been any of ours) When I told him, he just looked at me and asked to see it closer up and then just said "sorry" and left it at that... first, there should never be only one waiter working. second, to find HAIR in your food and to only get "sorry" as your waiter runs off to another table comes off very unprofessional, not impressed.
Not the Margaritaville atmosphere you would imagine. Service was very slow. Restaurant was just opened for the day and was very dirty. Wet floor signs all through the dining room. Our table was propped up by a wadded up napkin. The whole place just felt dirty. Hot honey chicken sandwich was tough and almost burnt. Our server was very inattentive. The door was left open on a 100 degree Miami day, so it was very muggy inside. Very unsatisfied for a $50 lunch.
The service here really leaves much to be desired. After sitting down, we were not given a menu within the first five minutes. When my partner asked for a menu, he was shooed away by our waiter, even though the menus were right behind him. When he asked again minutes later, he was told to wait. Once we were finally given our menus and decided what we wanted to drink, our waiter then made a gesture for us to wait again. We ended up being helped out a few times by another much friendlier gentleman that was working with him. Once we got our drinks and requested to pay, our waiter took my card and added himself a 20% tip that he calculated AFTER taxes and not before as is standard protocol, netting himself a few extra dollars in the process. To be quite frank, the service was so terrible from this man that I wouldn’t have tipped anything, as we had just gotten two drinks anyways. This was my first time at a Magaritaville and I have to say between the relatively weak margarita (not much tequila was inside in my opinion) and the diabolical service, I don’t envision myself returning.
Not exactly a great meal. Unfortunately.... l had always wanted to go to this restaurant so looking forward to the whole Margaritaville experience. The food was dry and the burger had so much salt l couldn't eat it. This is my first review l have done where the only positive thing l can say is the atmosphere was a fun upbeat environment. Be prepared to have alot of people and noise if you go.

So extremely disappointed. The upstairs was closed and maybe that’s were all the fun was… boring atmosphere. Food was trash. Fish and chips was store bought fish sticks. Exactly the cheap stuff you buy at the store but of course cost about $20. Fish tacos were 99% lettuce and one single strip of “fish” and was also a $20 meal. Service was terrible. It took so long for the waitress to come we had to order drinks and food at once then still waited forever for drinks and food. Was a nearly empty day at lunch time. Edited to add the waitress never gave us refills and disappeared, we waited so long in this empty restaurant that we had to get a bar tender to go find our waitress and even then it took another 10 minutes to come back, no sorry for the wait and when we got the bill back she had added her own tip without saying anything!
Despite the convenient location, I would NOT recommend this branch of Margaritaville. The entire venue is dirty- grime, sticky. The air does not work well, so they have the doors to the bar open which let birds into the main dining area. Their walls are banged up and it’s clearly not well maintained. Servers were understaffed and clearly not caring on a Saturday. Our server showed up twice, took us 15 minutes to get after, and over an hour for our food. The worst was I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and the chicken was green/gray. The service attempted to gaslight me in telling me it was the seasoning, but it was only on one side of the chicken and into it. While they took the item off my bill (I did not receive that salad, I just asked for it to be replaced without chicken) it took TWENTY minutes to replace a plate of lettuce. Also- why is there a 3% charge for credit cards? You bring my bill out on an AMEX receipt holder and then charge me 3% for using AMEX. This is bad business!

We stopped at this restaurant while visiting the area as tourists. At the front desk, we asked about the lunch special and were told it was available before 3:00 PM. We arrived 2.50 We confirmed and were told “yes.” we can order it. However, after we sat down, a man (possibly the waiter or the owner) came over in a very angry and unprofessional way, saying we could not order it. The tone was rude, as if we were trying to eat for free, which was very insulting. This kind of treatment is not what you expect in a tourist area. We left immediately, disappointed with the lack of respect and clarity. If this is how they handle customers, especially visitors, I cannot recommend this place.
Shitty service. We went to the bar and waited 15 mins for someone and decided to just leave. There were workers around the bar area they could’ve at least acknowledged us. But maybe that’s why this place was empty. Tourist trap with shitty service. The Orlando one is way better.
Service was awful, I sat at the bar ( that had maybe 6 patrons seated ) for about 20 minutes and the bar tender never acknowledged me or made eye contact. They were not very busy as the restaurant was almost empty. Myself and two other people at the bar left after not getting any service m
Staff is inattentive and seems to be very bothered by guest requests. Food is very basic and overpriced. Lots of options in this area I would recommend finding another place to eat.
The bar is a dive and serves anything but a real margarita. The ‘Perfect Margarita’ in the photo looks beautiful—in a glass, with salt—but what they actually serve comes in a disposable cup, no salt, no soul. Just ridiculous.
Food was cold ,ordered tacos rice was hard ,I also ordered buffalo wings never received the wings no biggie and was told that they thought it was extra so the cooks ate it ??!! Anyways before that we was waiting for our food for a long time while others who got there after us received there food before us we just ordered nachos and chicken tenders …won’t be coming back !!
We decided to change views and went with Family there, the food was great and Alexa our server was amazing but when we were going to pay we see that our check had a tourist fee and if you pay with credit card they add 3% to the check. Who carries cash nowadays, why do we have to pay a fee if we are not tourists. No wonder why the restaurant was empty and the others places had a line. So sad
They deny us seating when they had plenty of empty tables. They told us we could seat at the bar, or wait 25 minutes for a table. When we walked to the bar outside there were plenty of empty tables. We only came for a couple drink and an appetizer. We order the spinach and artichoke dip, they brought it in literally 3 minutes. It looked awful, didn’t taste bad but looked old and microwaved. Too bad for the bad reception and dish presentation. Server seemed to be upset or unhappy to have clients. Too bad. Next time we will definitely bring our business somewhere else.
I don’t like posting these but they put an 18% tip on the bill and we are just 2 people. Ordered a Margarita and a burger. Burger came, no Margarita. I cancelled the drink as it’s meant to be a cocktail, not an after meal drink. Waitress said, sorry the bar is backed up. It’s literally empty. See pictures. I’m sorry we ate here. We should have gone to the Hard Rock.
This restaurant was the worst I have been to in Florida in a long time. We have visited other Margaitaville restaurants and from the minute you walk in the door the atmosphere is electric. This one there was no atmosphere whatsoever! We ordered our drinks and food. Our soft drinks came straight away but we sat and watched our beers sit on the bar for a good 10 mins before they were taken to us. Then came the food. We upgraded our fries to sweet potato waffle fries which were cold when they came. My daughter’s wings were cold and one was so cold I wondered if it had actually been cooked. We complained to the waiter and ate what we could. Once we asked for the bill out came new meals from the kitchen which were actually cooked, however we were on our way to the basketball so it was too late and the rest of our party had finished their meals long before this. We had also ordered another round of drinks in this time which again took a while to arrive. When the bill came and 18% service charge had been added, I asked if this would be removed however I was told this was compulsory. I always tip 18-20% but I didn’t feel that this meal deserved any tip. I now know why there was only us and 2 more tables in this restaurant! Avoid this restaurant!
Arrived at 5:45pm on a Thursday to eat dinner before a 7:30 boat cruise - figured we’d have plenty of time…ordered 5 drinks, 1 appetizer, 2 adult entrees and 3 kids meals right away. Fast forward to 6:50 and we still have no appetizer or meals and weren’t checked on once. Food showed up at 7 and it was barely warm. Would be a little more understanding if it were busy, but there were only 4 other tables occupied. Avoid like the plague.
We decided to go and get drinks at the bar downstairs outside, was told the wait for a table was 30 minutes, so we waited, finally got the table for 4 of us, we ordered an appetizer, it was the Cajun dip, we received the app 30 minutes later and it came out cold, the service was very slow, we were going to order meals but decided not to because it would probably be an hour before we would get and saw other tables waiting even longer for there food even when we received our only appetizer, we even went to land shark before hand was told 30 minute wait and we sat at the bar and waited 20 minutes to be even recognized by the only sole bartender, looked around the restaurant and I was thinking why 30 minutes when there was hardly anyone there in the mid afternoon, I have to say as a former line cook and manager there looked like no management were around at both places, I am sorry about this review, wish it would have been better, as a local that I have not been to Bayside in 30 years plus, I would not return at all. I hope you all make it and do better down the road as it seems that both restaurants cater to the tourist that don't know better and will eat what they can get wh I le they walk around. Again wish I had a better experience, will not be back again, the management should really focus on the food product and the wait time......
From out of town and I expected better service. My second time at a margaritaville. My first experience was great! This was horrible! Waiter was impatient. The chef had a say in the menu. We ordered the new chicken and biscuit. Was told no biscuit, no big deal. Asked if we could substitute the biscuit for something else. Waiter had to go ask the chef, was told no. Again, no big deal. I said I will just take the meal without the biscuit. Waiter said the chef blocked it on the computer, seriously? Blocked it because he didn't want alternatives lol. Treat your tourists better, they make your money! I am returning to Florida in a few months and I definitely won't be back here. Chillis is here, will try them.
