Very fancy, a great place for a date. Loved the fire dancer. My waitress was great. Would highly recommend
Great atmosphere, very nice staff. Food was delicious and the ambiance was all of that!
Sharon was the best part of this experience. She was attentive and hard working. The live music was unexpected and the food was above average.
My friend and I were looking for a place to have dinner and also listen to music! This place did not disappoint! The best part of this experience has to be the service, both Jesus and Samuel were attentive and offered great dining and drink recommendations! We got the Cazuela Tequilera! Highly recommend!!
The food was delicious and they provided a unique dining experience! There’s loud music playing and to get you excited for the night ahead. If you’re looking for a quiet meal this is probably not the place but if you want to keep the energy up and have some good food this is the spot for you! Service was also exceptional! Fast, efficient, and friendly.
This place is really cool and unique. Definitely it is an experience. Make sure to make reservations. Beautiful greenery ambiance. The staff was also very nice and helpful. I ordered the guacamole and elote as my appetizer, and it was delicious! It was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the short rib and shrimp dishes as well. Lots of cocktail options.
From the moment we walked in, this restaurant exceeded every expectation — and much of that is thanks to our incredible server, Amalia. Her warm welcome, genuine smile, and effortless professionalism set the tone for a perfect evening. Amalia was not only knowledgeable about the menu, but she made amazing recommendations that we absolutely loved. Every dish came out perfectly timed, and her attention to detail — from drink refills to checking in just the right amount — made us feel genuinely cared for. It’s rare to find service that feels both polished and personal, but Amalia nailed it. The food itself was absolutely delicious — fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in every plate, and paired with service like Amalia’s, the whole experience felt elevated and memorable. Whether you're celebrating something special or just treating yourself to a great meal, this place should be at the top of your list. And if you're lucky enough to have Amalia as your server, you're in for something truly special. Can’t wait to come back!
Probably one of the best happy hours in Miami, can’t beat the prices and the spicy margaritas are so good, and they just remodeled I’m so obsessed!! Bartender Mel really took care of us, make sure you ask for her at the bar!
Had a great time having a New Year's Eve brunch. The restaurant wasn't very busy but I still made a reservation and was seated immediately. The dragon roll was amazing. My brother ordered the French toast and said it was delicious. I ordered the ribeye and eggs and it looked very pleasing, but the ribeye was overcooked from the medium rare I requested and needed more seasoning. My cocktails were good. I think I'd come back.
Everything was amazing — the food, the vibe, and the whole experience. But what really made it stand out was the service from Aleja. She was incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely made us feel taken care of. You can tell she loves what she does, because it shows in the way she treats every guest. Honestly, the night wouldn’t have been the same without her. Highly recommend asking for Aleja when you go!
The place is beautiful, music is good!! Drinks are bomb!! And the food is good as well, just have to look at the menu beforehand but ask any questions and the servers will gladly help you. After 9:30pm only 21 & older can enter. It turns into a club with entertainment which was amazing!!! *Downside waited over an 1 hour to get food
If you love Spanish songs for dancing this is the place. Came here to celebrate my friend birthday. I would say the drinks are very nice. The guac is also great. The vibe is vibingg. They play great song. And funny enough everyone that order table is celebrating something so there’s always a lady coming to bring a walkable billboard.
There were 4 of us and we had a great time. The drinks were good and the food was tasty too. Fun vibe and a perfect spot to hang out with friends. Definitely enjoyed it!
Jesus was great. Super kind and attentive. The cocktails were delicious and the Ceviche was creative and delicious. Would definitely recommend.
Amazing service at Mayami Wynwood! Grecia and Carlos were absolutely fantastic — super friendly, attentive, and made our entire experience unforgettable. The vibe, music, and energy at Mayami are always top-tier, but they made it even better with their great attitude and professionalism. Definitely recommend asking for them if you visit — they’ll take great care of you.
My girls and I have been coming to Mayami on the occasional Thursdays after work for a little over a year now. There is a Happy Hour from 5pm-7pm on weekdays with the most delicious appetizers to share as well as a few cocktails for $5. I’ve loved everything on the menu but especially don’t miss out on the oysters, crispy rice, mango & spicy margaritas, and $30 hookahs. They used to have ladies night on Thursdays from 7pm-10pm with free “Mayamigas” drink for ladies. Unfortunately they don’t have that anymore, but ask for the “Clandestina” instead! The service has always been amazing but I’m especially leaving this review for Jesus who had made today’s visit my favorite of many. If you’re considering visiting Mayami, do yourself the favor and bring friends
Mayami is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a fun night in Wynwood. The vibe is electric — music, lights, dancers, everything feels like a party. The place is beautiful and very Instagram-friendly. Cocktails were strong and tasty, and the food was actually better than expected. We went with friends for a birthday and had a great time. Definitely a good choice if you’re in the mood to celebrate and dance!..
Amazing indoor/outdoor Mexican Restaurant with Mexican/Asian fusion food. Went there for brunch but still had a party like vibe with DJ and music. Extensive menu, all the food looked delicious but unfortunately only 2 vegetarian options to choose from. If there’s anything recommendation I would make, is to get with the times and offer more just plant based options.
My experience here was amazing! The food was delicious. The staff was super attentive. I got the shrimp ceviche for an appetizer and it’s was 10/10. We got the tomahawk steak which was phenomenal as well. For dessert it was a chocolate ice cream ball. Was great! The entertainment and music 10/10. Love this place.
I came here with promoter Chris The Vip King and his wife along with a couple of friends and we had a fantastic time! As someone who doesn't go out clubbing I was nervous but they made me feel super welcomed and comfortable! We had plenty of delicious bites and drinks to go around the whole night! The music was lit and we all danced and it was actually a vibe like movie type moment my introvert heart was LIVING !!! Very thankful it was amazing! 1000/10
As the night goes on, the energy shifts seamlessly from fine dining to an electrifying club vibe, with awesome DJs setting the perfect tone. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for an elite night out, this spot delivers on all levels. Definitely a must visit for anyone looking to experience the best of Miami’s Wynwood luxury dining and nightlife scene! 🔥✨🍾
This spot is super cute, trendy and the atmosphere is classy bohemian! There is a dress code so please be mindful no beach attire or flip flops. My bestie and I came in for happy hour for the first time and everything was reasonable priced and fresh. Jesus and Jeremy helped us today with table service and it couldn’t be more of a better time. We will be back for sure. As far as food recommendations, try the shrimp skewers, seafood platter and shrimp tempura. Plus $5 cocktails you can not go wrong!
What a great night spent at Miyami!!! Gina and Gabriel were so attentive to our group. We were 30 and they never missed a beat. Definitely a place I’d come recommend😍
Went here for my bday dinner and had a timeee. Jesus was the best waiter we could’ve asked for. He gave us good help about food choices and drinks. The music was great and the performances were soo unique. Definitely will be back. 10/10 recommend!!!!!
I celebrated my birthday at Mayami, and it was an unforgettable experience! The decor and ambiance were absolutely stunning, with festive vibes, exciting lighting, and music that really set the tone for a celebration. The service was top-tier—our server made sure my party was seated in an excellent spot, which made me feel extra special for the occasion. The food and drinks were delivered quickly, which we truly appreciated. I loved the variety of sushi options and the impressive cocktail menu. To top it all off, I was served a complimentary dessert, complete with a cool lightbox, candles, and sparklers—such a fun and memorable touch! Mayami made my birthday feel truly special, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for celebrations or a great night out in Wynwood!
Loved the place, drinks and food were delicious. They have a live dj and after 9:30 I believe the music goes really loud and they had a fire performance that was really cool. The place is really dark too and it was packed the whole time we were there. Only bad thing with our visit was how hot it was and we had to wait at least 20 minutes to seated eventho we got on time for our reservation, which would’ve been a problem if they didn’t only let you have the table for 2 hours from the time of reservation. But overall great experience and will be coming back.
If you want a have a SUPER NICE AND FUN NIGHT go to MAYAMI. The food is fantastic and the staff is super professional! That take care of you during the whole night. After dinner you can jump to the dance floor and enjoy the music and the great cocktails. There is a parking very close to the place. A must if you want to have an unforgettable night in Miami!
We celebrate our 21st anniversary tonight at Mayami. Our waitress was Ale and she was amazing and very tentative. Food, drinks and atmosphere was great as well. Definitely will come back.
Amazing experience. My wife and I are currently sitting here at the bar for Happy Hour, which I gotta say is awesome. Drinks were made well even considering they were made during happy hour. Our bartenders service was exceptional! The drinks are NOT pre-mixed like most places that have $5 drinks... The management staff was testing out new menu options and we happened to be guinea pigs to one of them. It was great! This is a Miami must visit!
Hola everybody I have been here a few times but never had the chance to give the staff and especially the bartenders their well deserved praise. Tonight I got to chop it up with Gina and as always she delivered top tier service. From bartender to bartender her cocktails are bomb. I usually swing by for happy hour since it is never too crowded and tonight the spicy salmon roll and cosmopolitan were the highlight of my visit. Big thanks to Gina for making the experience memorable every time. 🔥
Amazing experience at Mayami! The food was delicious, the music was fantastic, and the atmosphere was just perfect. But the best part was the service from Alejandra — super attentive, friendly, and with such great energy that made us feel right at home. Thank you, Aleja, for making the night even better
Probably one of the happy hours in Miami, bartender Mel really took care of us, ask for her when you go to the bar. Recommend the spicy margaritas and the crispy rice omg. And they just remodeled I’m so obsessed!!!
Had an amazing time at Mayami! The atmosphere is next-level — the music, the lighting, the performers — everything is designed to keep the energy high. It feels like a mix between a restaurant and a nightclub, in the best way possible. The staff was friendly and made sure we were taken care of all night. We loved the tacos and the drinks were on point. Perfect spot for a night out with friends. We’ll definitely be back!..
We had the opportunity to attend an event a Mayami in Wynwood. It's a beautiful place, tables on several levels, two bars, the roof open to the night sky. Service could not be better; we were carefully looked after. The drinks were great; if you like you espresso martini less sweet, they gladly make it without the Baileys (much better, than you). We enjoyed the few bites we tried - the blue point oysters were fresh, the ceviche delicious (maybe a touch too much vinegar). The crispy rice tuna tartar was the best; I wanted more and we only had one pass. Their Happy Hour menu is very attractive.
My husband and I came on Valentines Day for dinner. The food was amazing. Everything tasted so good. We got the Kobe meatballs, truffle pasta and Apollo Criollo. For drinks we got the special Valentines drink and an AguaSanta. And the service was great from the moment you walk in. The server team was present and there when you needed something without hovering. We definitely recommend this spot!
Maria and Gabe were absolutely amazing!! Went with a large group and they completely fed the vibes and ensured we all had the best time! Great place to socialize and grab drinks/ bites!
I visited for my friend’s birthday dinner. I loved everything about it. ♥️ The service was great! The food , yummy! the atmosphere was everything and everyone was in great spirits. The place was beautiful and classy, and the bathroom was clean and pretty.Lol 10/10
We had a great time at Mayami Wynwood. Dinner reservations are recommended. We started with some drinks and appetizers. We had the crispy rice sushi and the avocado dip they both were delicious. We had the tomahawk steak with mashed potatoes and carrots we also ordered a couple of sushi dishes and for dessert we had the churros. Everything was very tasty. Our server was awesome. He kept coming by to make everything was okay. The drinks came in quick we kept ordering through out the night. The music and atmosphere were amazing.
Went to Mayami Wynwood for Sunday brunch with my family and loved it. Great vibe, delicious tacos al pastor, and awesome service. Sharon was super helpful and hooked us up with a great deal on two bottles. Definitely coming back!
Went here for dinner with four friends and had a great time. Food was delicious, ambiance and atmosphere was energetic and fun. We really enjoyed our meals and our server Santiago was amazing. We will definitely be going back in the future.
My husband and I went to dinner here and had such a fun time!! The food and drinks are delicious. The Filetto was my favorite! Our server Barbara was amazing, super attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is very lively and they have fire dancers performing throughout the night! This is the perfect spot for a fun dinner party and it’s conveniently located in the heart of Wynwood.
I went with my team on December 31st and wow, what an experience. Incredible service, the staff was always attentive and trustworthy, and the vibe combined with amazing music kept us entertained the entire time. We especially want to thank Sharon for her wonderful attention. Without a doubt, a highly recommended experience. We’ll definitely be back for more!
Great experience! Jesus was an excellent server—very attentive, friendly, and professional. The food was delicious, and the happy hour has great deals with really good prices. It’s definitely my favorite place for happy hour. Great service, great food, and great value. I always come back here.
Came to Mayami Wynwood for dinner and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was fun and energetic, the food was delicious, and the service was on point. Sharon took great care of us and helped us get a really good deal on two bottles. Perfect spot for a night out — highly recommend!
Cannot talk highly enough of this location! They just did a full renovation (I was here a few months ago) came to a promo dinner with Marie and the food was FABULOUS!! The truffle pasta is to die for!! Massive shout out to Mel who made us impeccable drinks from the bar. Music was great everyone was dancing and vibing. Also a wide sushi selection! Thank you Mel and Marie!
First time coming here and didn’t know what to expect and honestly everything from our server Jesus to the food was excellent. Such a welcoming environment and definitely recommending to friends and anyone coming to Miami. We loved the happy hour menu to the dinner menu and the drinks were so good. Highly recommend the passionfruit margarita for sure.
I had an amazing experience at MAYAMI, thanks to Sharon. From the very beginning, she was attentive, professional, and brought such a positive energy. She made us feel comfortable and well taken care of, always paying attention to details without being intrusive. The service was smooth, friendly, and full of good vibes. Sharon truly elevates the experience, and you can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does. I would absolutely come back and request her again. Thank you for such a great night 💫
Mayami is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience. From the moment you walk in, it feels like you’ve stepped into another world where fine dining meets a high-energy Latin club. The atmosphere transitions seamlessly from elegant and stylish to vibrant and electric as the night goes on, making it perfect for both dinner and celebration. The food was beautifully presented and full of bold Latin flavors, and the cocktails were just as impressive—crafted with care and creativity. What really made the night unforgettable, though, was the service. Our server, Sharon, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and had such a great energy that made us feel taken care of without ever feeling rushed. She guided us through the menu, made spot-on recommendations, and added to the overall vibe of the night. By the end of the evening, the music was up, the crowd was alive, and it felt like the perfect mix of luxury and fun. Mayami is the kind of place where dinner turns into a night you’ll be talking about long after it’s over. Highly recommend for a special night out in Miami. 💃✨
My wife & I had dinner at MAYAMI & loved it . Our waiter JESUS was amazing !!! He checked in periodically & made sure we were good . There was a small mix up & he corrected it right away & I wasn’t expecting that .. very good customer service ! The entertainment was amazing as well . Fire show & a violinist were great !! On top of that he even surprised my wife with her fav dessert , churros for her birthday . Thank you Jesus ! Thank you MAYAMI !!!
This was my second visit to Mayami, and like the last time, I was impressed by the food and service. My only gripe this time was that the drinks were lacking in alcohol, and the first drink was mostly ice. However, the food was delicious, and the entertainment was fantastic. I definitely recommend it.
What a great, caf experience I had here! You have to visit! It's unlike any other resto club I've been to. As a Miami Wedding and Event DJ, I've also had long runs working as DJ at successful club franchises like Blue Martini, and Cafe Iguana, so I can really appreciate good hospitality, but here it was EXCEPTIONAL! The hospitality, starting with the hostess Ariadna, then Amalia our server, helped by Luis as busser (he cleaned our tables between courses much appreciated). Then the food! Wow! We only had the Icy Hot Ceviche (served on a bed of ice) and Tuna Nigiri which were both melt in your mouth delicious, well presented, reasonably priced, and sooo enjoyable. The entrees can be a bit pricey, but look like they're well worth it. I prefer the option of paper menus, which they don't have, but the scan of a QR code works well too. I likely notice music more than most, and DJ Daniel did a really great job of playing tasty, sexy grooves which really complimented the sexy, cool, romantic vibe here. It was a mix of cool House grooves mixed with well chosen remixes of familiar tunes. Bravo! It turns into more of a club at night, and we caught the fire dance show seen here. Parking can be challenging around here, so have patience. That notwithstanding, it's still well worth a visit. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!!
This place was great! We had a very nice dinner with some friends from out of town and they were blown away. Our table wasnt the best first choice but upon request we were moved to a more central seating. There menu is extensive so your bound to find something you like. Everyone really enjoyed there meals and cocktails. They had music going with a dj and a fire dancer show which was pretty cool. The servers were very attentive and friendly.
We had a really great experience overall. Estefani, our server, was absolutely wonderful attentive, kind, professional, and always checking on us to make sure everything was perfect. She truly made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Victoria, the manager, was also very attentive and professional. She came by our table, listened to us, and made sure we felt valued as guests. You can tell she genuinely cares about customer experience. However, after being there for some time, we were disappointed that the chef would not accommodate a few items that were listed on the menu simply because it was brunch hours. While we understand that restaurants have policies, a little flexibility would have made the experience flawless especially after we had already been seated and dining for a while. That being said, the service from Estefani and Victoria truly stood out and made a positive difference in our visit. We appreciate their professionalism and attention. We would definitely return, hoping for a bit more flexibility from the kitchen next time.
It's a very popular place in the area, with a $40 entrance fee that you actually use to purchase inside, so this is a good approach. We were sitting at the bar inside, so we had fast service with the drinks and had to wait for the sushi, which was ok but not that great. At some point, a guy came to take our chairs while we were still waiting for the food, and that was not very cool. A few glasses were broken around us, and it took over 15 minutes for someone to come clean up the glass. Also, the music was a bit strange… weird mix of oldies and Latino, with very sharp changes and turns in style, not sure it was that great.
A vibrant and stylish restaurant with the atmosphere of a true Latin American celebration, great music, and creative cocktails. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and the place is perfect for a night out with friends.
Food - 3.5 Service - 4 Ambiance - 5 Price - 4.5 Mayami is a good option for happy hour goers. Happy hour drinks are probably one of the cheapest in town and they are good, definitely a good price-to-quality ratio. At night it turns in a nightclub with great Latino playlists. The vibes are pretty good. Perfect to hang out with friends. For many more nights in Mayami!
I recently dined at Niu Kitchen in downtown Miami and was thoroughly impressed by the creative Catalan cuisine. The cold tomato soup with mustard ice cream was a delightful surprise, and the charbroiled oysters added a smoky depth to the meal. The ambiance was intimate and stylish, offering a cozy yet modern dining experience. However, the limited seating made reservations essential, and the space felt a bit cramped during peak hours.
I recently dined at Mayami Wynwood in Miami and was thoroughly impressed by the vibrant atmosphere and innovative cuisine. The tacos were flavorful, and the cocktails were expertly crafted, adding to the overall dining experience. The ambiance was lively and energetic, with live music and performances that transitioned seamlessly into a nightclub vibe as the evening progressed. However, the noise level increased significantly later in the night, which might be overwhelming for some diners.
Ehhhh. I was expecting better because of the reviews, but the service was good and The sushi was fresh. The drinks also, but the chicken dish we ordered was just not it. Dry and lacking more sauce. The Brussel sprouts were also delicious. It’s a bit pricey for what you get in my opinion but maybe after hours if you’re looking for a party/dinner, this could work.
Definitely recommend this place for the vibes over the food. Try to get seated in the main room so you can actually see the entertainment which was really fun to watch. The food was good, nothing to rave about but definitely a fun place to go on a night out!
If you're searching for a fun party vibe in Miami with decent food, this is the place to be! The atmosphere really comes alive after 10 PM with fire dancing and nonstop music. Be aware that if you arrive after 10, there's a minimum spend of $600 for a table, which only covers bottles—not food. Most of the dishes were tasty, but the black truffle sushi was a miss. I recommend grabbing a light bite elsewhere first, then coming here to enjoy the party all night long! Perfect spot for those looking to dance and have a great time in Miami.
We had a great time at Mayami during brunch. The ambiance was great, the music and even the service was better than expected. Food surprisingly delicious. I am Not a fan of the pre-made mimosas from the brunch menu. Also, if you go early (brunch hours), you better hope they sit you in a shaded place with a fan. Even though we had a beautiful tree view, there was no fan and it was excruciating hot. We asked to be moved but it didn’t happen. Even after that, we still had a great server who made the experience bearable along with great food which gets a five star.
It's confusing and intimidating at first when you walk in. There are so many options and a variety of Asian food choices. The best thing to do is to take your time and look at the menus and how the kitchen is set up. Then, ask questions on dishes you like and how they are made. Then, look at what vendors are busier and scrutinize the prices. One thing that helps is looking at other people's plates and determining what looks good to you. It's mostly self-serve, but there are staff members cleaning up and servers for the drinks from the bar section. Both the outdoor and the indoor sitting are good. The outdoor sitting area has a band playing music. The indoor sitting area looks more popular because of Miami hot and humid weather. The music was a little too loud for me and made me feel like I was in a party or a bar, not a restaurant environment. I wouldn't recommend this place to families with kids. It's not a kids-friendly environment. For such a venue, the prices are too high, and gratuity is automatically included, and you have to pay upfront for your meal. You have to do your research and take your time picking the right dish
I went to Mayami Wynwood in December for a friend’s birthday, and overall, it was a fun experience. The open-air setup with no roof made the most of the nice weather, giving it a chill Miami vibe. The food was surprisingly affordable for the area, but the service could’ve been better—the waiters were a bit fussy and took a while to bring our drinks. As the night went on, the place shifted into a lively dancing club with DJs, lights, and a great atmosphere. Just be careful with parking—Wynwood is notorious for city fines and towing if you’re not parked properly. * It happened to me .
On a girls trip to Miami we brought my BFF to her birthday dinner here. The food was good, not spectacular but it was pretty good. I had a ceviche and the portion was large and it was quite tasty. The guac was a little salty but not bad. The cocktails were very good though. The server was fantastic and she brought over a big light up sign for my friends birthday without us even asking. The thing I did NOT like was that they rushed us out of the table. I’m more of a relaxed person especially when I go out. So I don’t mind slow service but I do mind being or feeling rushed. They were super quick to clear our plates which I thought was just efficient until they literally delivered the check and said they needed the table back but that we could go to the bar. I don’t like being rushed out of a table especially when we spent a good amount. We did go to the bar for a bit after and they didn’t seem to need the table because there were tons of empty tables. The server was super sweet but it’s obviously a policy to turn the tables over as fast as possible. The bar service was good, not great. The decor was fantastic. Super instagrammy for all your influencer needs! Perfect for a girls night selfie. They had a performer with a fire umbrella which was cool too. I think if the service was less rushed and pushy I’d have given a bit higher star count but overall pretty good.
Be aware the high high dollar pricing for what essentially are a 2 years old portion of food. Drinks are average and as usual a rip off. The music and vibe is good though, beautiful decor and details. Thats what your paying for..
I recently visited Mayami Wynwood and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and great music, which sets a nice vibe for the evening. However, the service and food quality left much to be desired. Our server seemed rushed and was not very engaging, making the dining experience feel somewhat impersonal. Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. The octopus was overcooked and dry, the meat was far too salty, and the fish did not taste fresh at all. While the atmosphere is certainly enjoyable, the food and service did not live up to expectations. Would recommend if you're mainly going for the ambiance, but I wouldn't return for the food.
I had higher expectations for this place, but overall it was underwhelming. The atmosphere is somewhat pleasant, but nothing special or impressive. It’s a comfortable environment, but definitely not the “great nightclub” that people often talk about. Honestly, it feels like the hype around it is much bigger than the actual experience. The service was average at best. The bartender was extremely unfriendly and seemed like she was forcing herself to smile just because she had to, not because she actually wanted to provide good service. It didn’t feel welcoming at all. Also, the valet parking is ridiculously expensive — $50 just for parking, which feels completely unreasonable considering the overall experience. In the end, it’s not a terrible place, but it’s far from impressive and definitely did not live up to the expectations people usually create around it. I wouldn’t consider it anything extraordinary.
SERVICE TIP ALREADY INCLUDED ‼️ Just a heads up! Just be aware to ask for your itemized bill BEFORE paying because they do not give it you. All I received was the total and paid adding on a tip. I had the receipt sent by text and that’s when I saw 18% gratuity was already included. So they received a **42%** gratuity by making sure to not let us know that tip was already included. NOT COOL. I am in the service industry and this deceptive behavior is extremely disappointing & unacceptable. Besides that, The vibe is beautiful, sexy, great music, live entertainment with fire dancers and an amazing person who plays violin. Just please do better with communication. The extra dollars you make on people by being shady to get a double tip will not pay off in the long run. I will not be going back due to this.
A group of us decided to have brunch at Mayami for my birthday. We had a mixed experience so we won’t be returning to Mayami Wynwood. The Bouncer at the door was rude to the people infront of us and to my group when asked a simple question. Due to their reservation rules, I decided not to just walk away and lose my $240 reservation fee (they require $30 per person for all reservations). The hostess was very nice however our waitress wasn’t. I had to address her about her attitude a few minutes into the service, then she became pleasant and attentive. Mimosas were terrible, possibly bad/expired orange juice was used. I ordered a few different cocktails, only “The Queen” was good. We ordered carnita taco bowls (1 star); Sliders (5 star); salmon taco bowls ( 3 star). The dance performance and design of the place was great but the food, drinks and some staff were awful. I won’t be returning.
Went to Mayami Wynwood with a friend last night and unfortunately the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. The service was lacking, especially when it came to our drinks. My friend specifically asked if a drink meant for two could be made less spicy, and the server said yes. When it came out, it was extremely spicy. I usually love a spicy margarita, but I just wasn’t in the mood for that level of heat, which is why we asked in the first place. After mentioning it to the server, the bartender made us another one, but it was just as spicy as the first. At that point, I didn’t feel like saying anything further. Food-wise, we tried the guacamole, which was very mediocre, and the gyoza, which was just okay. Overall, the restaurant and dining experience just wasn’t for me. That said, we did come back later in the night for seltzers, dancing, and music, and that part was actually great. The vibe at night is fun, just not somewhere I’d return to for food or cocktails.
Need to be very careful here. The club is cool but the servers play games to get to your wallet. For example, a server asked if I wanted shots “on the house”, so I explicitly confirmed TWICE that I did not want to pay for them because we already had bottle service. She confirmed the round was on her, then ordered +1 for herself, and then cornered me to try charging me $100 for the round. I then had security and a manager essentially threaten me into paying the $100 for the round unless I’d be kicked out. It was classic bait, switch, intimidation. $100 wasn’t worth getting kicked out with my 12 friends, so I paid it, but this is the type of games they play. ALSO, 4 years we went to this same club and someone at the bar took our credit card number and gave it to someone trying to scam us the next day texting us threats about my friend’s family with their names and addresses that we had to go to the cops with. The club is fun but management is overall sketchy. By the way, our main waitress was Melanie, and she was excellent (5 stars!) UPDATE 1/23/26: Senior management called me and refunded the $100. Kudos to senior management for wanting to correct the issue
Food was good but this Saturday night DJ put 90% songs of Bad Bunny and the rest had no tempo remixing at all. The worst DJ Ive ever seen in a club setting.
Went for new years pre fix. the food was disgusting...not other way to describe it. Not fresh tasted frozen, and very cheap quality. it's all Instagram style. looks good on the outside but actual crap. plus make sure you check your bill. they added $40 drunk charge that no one orders plus charges 4% CC fee. wouldn't care if the quality is there....but you're paying for crap here.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience last night, it was my first time in Mayami, and I’ve never encountered such rude staff in a hospitality setting. I work in this industry myself, and I understand how challenging guests can be, but there was absolutely no reason for the way I was treated. While I was simply dancing with two friends—completely sober—a bottle girl pushed me from behind to get through the crowd. When I turned around, she yelled in my ear, “Are you okay? I can call security on you.” That was completely uncalled for and felt like an attempt to intimidate me. As a paying guest, I should not be made to feel threatened or disrespected. To make matters worse, another staff member was dismissive when I asked where the exit was, simply saying, “It’s over there,” without any direction or courtesy. That’s not what hospitality means. Train your upper management to train their teams properly—hospitality is about providing a warm, welcoming experience, not making guests feel unwelcome. Hire better staff.
Please believe the reviews that say this place is racist. I experienced it first hand last night around 8pm. The bouncer was Latino and i had a friend meeting me. She’s Latina & i seen him let her in with no issue and was very respectful. I walked up with my boyfriend (We’re both black) , IMMEDIATELY, he says “how can I help you”. We say we’re there to go to the bar & meet a friend. He says “Nope. You need a reservation. You’re not dressed up”. So I tell him he just let my friend in. He completely ignores that and proceeds to say he can’t let us in. We left and took out business to Dunkanoo because that was completely unacceptable and uncalled for. Next time i will be filming this place and letting my followers on TikTok know how racist it is.
The food was excellent, but the overall experience was very disappointing. After spending almost $1,500, our waiter told us that someone had “bought our table” and that we had to move unless we purchased a bottle. We agreed to move, but the table stayed empty for quite a while. Eventually, another group from the second floor was seated there — clearly showing that no one had actually bought our table, they just wanted us to spend more money. To make matters worse, once we were at our new table, a rude busboy came over and threw away our freshly purchased drinks, saying, “You don’t have a table, so I can throw these out if I want to.” That level of attitude and disrespect is completely unacceptable, especially at a place that charges premium prices.
Abolutely appalling treatment by the bouncers. We made a reservation for a birthday for a table of 8. The birthday girl was wearing flat sandals and in a dress, and they refused entry. I absolutely cannot fathom how an establishment is willing to lose out on potentially $1000 just for a girl’s sandals. I understand if someone is coming in without a shirt or something offensive, but this is just sandals. Super disappointing, because we were looking forward to spending our money here. I honestly have been here 2 other times previously and have had a good time and spent A LOT, but sad because I don’t believe I’ll ever come back due to the stupid and archaic bouncer.
Warning. Don’t waste your time or money here. From the moment we walked in, this place lived up to our expectations in the worst way. Hosts and servers were rude. Seems like management spent more energy on the remodel instead of actually curating a nice dining experience. Food quality was poor. Drinks were good, though, but not good enough to bring us back.
Turned away from an empty restaurant at 6pm by a woman holding a dog (!!!) because ‘we have a dress code, darling’. I checked the sign and do not believe I was dressed inappropriately. However, I went to Coyo down the street and had a wonderful time instead. Thanks for the terrible hospitality, Mayami!
I wish I could give Mayami Wynwood zero stars because that would be far more fitting for the disgraceful experience I witnessed here. This is by far the worst and most appalling encounter I’ve ever had at any establishment in Miami. Their behavior was blatantly radical, racist, and beyond unprofessional. Let me explain exactly what happened so you understand why I will NEVER come back to this place and why you should seriously reconsider ever setting foot in Mayami. We were in line waiting to get inside, and everything seemed fine until we noticed something horrifying. One of the men in line ahead of us, a well-dressed African American gentleman, was denied entry without any valid reason whatsoever. He was dressed completely on par with the venue’s supposed “dress code”—clean, stylish, and definitely appropriate for a nightlife spot like Mayami. Yet, the bouncers looked him up and down, smirked, and simply said, “Not tonight.” No explanation, no courtesy, just pure, blatant discrimination. At first, we thought maybe there was some kind of misunderstanding, but it became crystal clear as we watched how they treated other people in line. They were letting in groups of white and Latino patrons wearing nearly identical attire without batting an eye. Some of them were dressed more casually than the man who was denied, yet they walked right in with no issues. It was absolutely disgusting to witness such overt racism happening right in front of us in 2025. How can a place like this still operate with such discriminatory practices? When the man calmly asked why he wasn’t allowed in, the bouncers doubled down on their disrespect. They gave him smug, dismissive responses and acted as if his presence wasn’t welcome at all. Meanwhile, the crowd around us started murmuring, clearly uncomfortable and aware that something seriously wrong was happening. This wasn’t just a one-off situation. It became increasingly obvious as we stood there that this venue has a toxic, exclusionary, and deeply racist atmosphere. They make it painfully clear who they want inside and who they don’t, and it has NOTHING to do with how someone is dressed or how they conduct themselves. It has everything to do with race. I am completely disgusted by what I saw that night, and I refuse to support an establishment that engages in such vile, exclusionary behavior. Racism has no place in Wynwood, in Miami, or anywhere in the world, and the fact that Mayami is still getting away with this nonsense is beyond disturbing. To top it off, the overall vibe of the place was tacky, overcrowded, and overrated. The staff was rude, the music wasn’t anything special, and the drinks were overpriced and weak. Even if we hadn’t witnessed that horrendous act of racism, I still wouldn’t recommend this place because it simply doesn’t live up to the hype. If you care about equality, decency, and treating people with basic respect, avoid Mayami Wynwood at all costs. There are plenty of other places in Miami where you can have a good time without supporting racism, elitism, and blatant discrimination. I will NEVER be back, and I hope this review makes others think twice before giving this place their time or money. Mayami, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Do better.
Absolutely gutted about the experience last night - booked for my wife’s birthday anticipating to unwind, relax and enjoy the vibes and show BUT we got seated at a booth in the middle and it was amazing until there was a continuous waft of sewage (shrugged it off for 10 mins thinking eh whatever it’ll pass but it didn’t) asked to move tables, got sat inside (which was great and all until I realized well the whole vibe and show is outside). The “Black Warrior” drink was amazing we had a couple of those along with appetizers which were phenomenal, along with the waitresses service. It’s just extremely disappointing to fly into town and look forward to celebrating somewhere and the experience is a massive let down. We ended up leaving to salvage the night for her birthday else where.
