⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rosita’s Mexican Restaurant is an absolute gem! The food was amazing—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite tasted authentic and delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal, whether you’re out with family or friends. The restaurant was also impressively clean, which really added to the overall experience. Special shoutout to Julie for providing the best service ever! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her great attitude truly elevated our visit. Highly recommend Rosita’s—can’t wait to come back! 🌮✨
My 2nd time coming here. Food is delicious, atmosphere is chilling with music. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Service is really good and the ladies are really nice. I had Bistec A la Mexicana and my husband had The Fajita dish.
Was introduced to this restaurant 1/2 a lifetime ago when I would dive the Keys and we would come here with our dive mentors. Was in the neighborhood now and in the mood for Mexican; glad I was able to jog my memory with help of google! Food was great then and still is. 🤤 Portions plentiful, everything was flavorful, seasoned well (even the tortillas) and service by the young lady was prompt and friendly. My husband‘s first time here and he loved it! Will come back again when in area. Happy and bellies full. 🥰
Delicious Mexican restaurant 🤍 we loved every dish! Fried quesadillas were the best! Totally recommend it.
Very very good food and service I had not been there in a while and it looks like they really cleaned it up a lot everybody was friendly and it was delicious
Very casual amd laid back atmosphere. More authentic mexican not tex mex. Which we prefer.
Great food and great service! There are many authentic dishes to choose from at good prices. The inside and outside of the building are very pretty and there is fun music playing.
Food came out fast, would highly recommend the quesabirria tacos
I had a wonderful experience at **Rosita’s Restaurante** in Florida City! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried had that authentic homemade taste that’s hard to find. What really stood out, though, was the excellent service from Rosi. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Her warm hospitality added so much to the overall experience. You can tell she truly cares about her customers and takes pride in what she does. If you’re in the area and looking for great food with even better service, Rosita’s Restaurante is a must-visit. Highly recommended. 🩷

Rosita’s was so delicious! I ordered the enchiladas with carne asada and they were so yummy. The service was excellent too!
Salsa was spicy and delicious! I got the Molcajete Mixito which was pretty unique here with Cactus and green onion mixed in. The fried cheese was amazing and I’ve never had that in a Molcajete before. The sauce and meat were great though, lots of food and spicy flavors. Service was fantastic with the server being super chill and friendly. Overall just your standard Mexican joint with some unique Floridian options.

This is my third time coming here and every time I come here the food is always good. I’ve had the flautas de pollo, the chicken enchiladas, the quesadillas de barbacoa and carne asada. I will continue to come and try other plates. The Tres Leches was fire
Stopped at Rosita on our way back from Everglades National Park, it was a great choice. Our family of 5 ate for under $40. The chips and salsa were a bit spicy for our kids. The portions were generous, the taste was 5 star! The ambiance was great, and the service was super. Highly recommend supporting this small business!
Shared Tacos and Nachos, was amazing. Will be back.
They always have authentic Mexican food and I have been coming here with my parents for decades.
Excellent hole in the wall restaurant with great tacos and good beer.

Everything you’d be looking for with a small local Mexican restaurant. Great food, friendly staff, great atmosphere.
Recent stop at rosita's. My go to place for delicious Mexican food. The chimichangas are the best. Worth the time and money. Pay them a visit.
Dona Margaritas food is the best all around. Best server are Rosie and Stephanie. Very friendly and know how to treat customers.
We were headed back to Miami from the keys looking for a good Mexican restaurant. My husband found this place. The rice and beans were to die for. I had the carne asada tacos with the fabulous salsa. Oh and homemade chips.
Excellent service!! Food very delicious !! Highly recommend 👍
Good food and great deals .. Stop by and visit if you’re in Fl city
Had a nice lunch here with my parents. Great food and service by Alexandra. Will come back.
The caldo de res was great, tasty with enough veggies, flour tortillas and the works. The service was outstanding, thanks Alejandra
Delicious food, great service, very family friendly. I’ve never been to Mexico, but it seems really authentic! Would recommend to anyone!
Great service. THe food is very authentic. This place never disappoints.
We’ve been going to, and loving Rosita’s for years, and are so glad, the new owners kept everything as it was. Delicious food, reasonable prices, great friendly service, and an atmosphere that feels like family, authentically local, clean and simple. We live in the Keys and whenever we make the drive to Miami Dade County, our “go to” gift to ourselves, is an obligatory stop at Rosita’s.
If you want real authentic Mexican food, this is the place to be. The staff is super friendly. The food is amazing. We’ve been coming here for years.
We love this place and eat here all the time! Very authentic, great staff!

Great food, I had the Chilaquiles en salsa verde and it was delicious, the waiter was very attentive. Highly recommended
Delicious food like it came from abuelita. Great barbacoa tacos (taco Tuesday) and amazing refried beans. Awesome atmosphere (music) and attentive server.
First of all they have the best menu I've ever seen in a restaurant. Almost all the meals have a photo. Rosita's Mexican restaurant is a quiet little Mexican restaurant that is actually very good in my opinion. They have nachos they have tacos they have meat they have chicken. I enjoyed their melted cheese with the chips delicious. They have enchiladas and more. It's a very quiet place but I think you will enjoy it. Tienen nachos, tienen tacos, tienen carne, tienen pollo. Disfruté de su che derretido -Bluick
We were driving by and saw this place by chance. We didn't regret stopping in for lunch. The coffee was excellent.
Amazing experience and food was delicious! Went for lunch and I was in and out with good service!
9/10 at least. One of the best burritos I've ever had 🌯 Cleared my plate 🍽
Restaurant is so good. They have amazing music in the background so you can vibe as you eat. It’s not overly lit, it’s the perfect lighting. The service is amazing, they attend you immediately. The food takes about 15 to 20 minutes to prepare and brought out. Waitresses are very friendly and provide personal options when stuck or don’t know what to get. Come eat, food is so fire. They are bilingual, they can speak English and Spanish.
Its a cute little restaurant serving authentic Mexican food. I had a small version of the chicken fajitas with fresh corn tortillas
Sandra was so excellent and knowledgeable about the menu great customer service she went above and beyond and was so friendly she really made the experience special everything about this evening was perfect thanks to Sandra. My family and I thank you
The food is authenic and real mexican. The location has been here for years and continues to shine.
THE BEST FRESH! Fresh chopped vegetables in ALL the dishes. Freshly mixed avocado. Superb Flautas. Amazing Caldo De Cameron - yummmy crab and fish - plenty of shrimps! The tortilla chips are fresh too! Hubby was born in San Antonio - we have spent decades tasting Mexican food - here in the USA and in Mexico. THIS IS THE BEST Mexican food we have ever had! They work so hard to get to you quickly - when we walked in the place was packed. It cleared out while we were eating. Just us and one other table. And then it got full again FAST! When we walked out there was one table open. Amazing! I wish my wedding photography and videography business was this busy!
Best tacos de barbacoa in town. Breakfast is amazing. Menudo. Really good place to come eat.
I have been coming to Rositas since I moved to Miami in 92. I will not go anywhere else the food is the best. Thank Rositas for sticking around so long May God always bless your Restaurant.
Authentic mexican food and decor. Good value on food and drinks.
I came here with a large family and the service was very quick and the food was delicious. Nothing was left. I will be returning soon.
A little hole in the wall but well worth visiting! Nothing fancy about it but authentic, delicious and inexpensive Mexican food. If you are passing through Florida City, head west on Palm Drive by Starbucks and at the busway turn left and you are there!!
Very fresh and homestyle food Comfortable environment And great service
I have visited Rosita’s Restaurant several times and never left a review. But it’s about time. They deserve it. I love this place. The atmosphere is simple, not fancy, and it’s very clean. The food is very good and waitress Stephanie is super nice. I live about two minutes south of Broward County, and don’t travel often to Florida City, but when I do, I take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy genuine Mexican food and Rosita’s is the real deal.
Rosita's Mexican Restaurant serves up delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine in a welcoming and cozy setting. Their menu features classic dishes like flavorful tacos, sizzling fajitas, and rich enchiladas, all made with fresh ingredients. The homemade salsas and margaritas add an extra touch of flavor. With friendly service and generous portions, Rosita's is a great spot for enjoying traditional Mexican flavors in a relaxed atmosphere.
My fiance got the giant burrito and I got the lengua tacos. Prompt service and excellent flavor. They bring you bottles of salsa to the table without even asking.

Great food and fast service! Best salsa we have had in a while and tasty dishes!
Our waitress July was very friendly and always had a big smile . Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants in South Florida...
If we lived anywhere close (we are from Pittsburgh, PA) we would be in once a week! The food was excellent and the people very friendly. Great vibe!
First of all, I was shocked with how expensive this place was for a Mexican place. But then when I actually ate the food, it didn't matter. Because the food was top-notch. This is true authentic Mexican food. Extremely fresh, very delicious, and of course it's all the way in Florida City You get what you pay for though, this is not a Tex-Mex Restaurant this is an authentic Mexican restaurant. I had the enchiladas which were $15. Enchiladas rojos. Two big enchiladas with Mexican yellow rice and pinto beans. Superb ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The service was very good too
Amazing find in Florida city. We ended up here by accident after the restaurant we intended to go to was closed for renovations and it was such a lucky find that we ended up here instead. The tacos were so fresh, my enchiladas were so filling and flavorful and somehow the guac despite being a vey simple dish was better than most I have had. Next time we come down from Miami I will have to make sure to stop in here again. Also very reasonable prices!
Very clean and friendly service. Our food was out very quickly within 15 min of our order. Everything came out very delicious and filling definitely would come back again
Wonderful place to take family. Visiting from Ohio, to see my son he recommended Rosita's. It was wonderful food. Our waitress was quick and very attentive... 10/10 definitely recommend!!
We ate here both nights when visiting Florida City. The food is fresh, hot, and authentic. The service is quick and very friendly! We highly recommend the tacos, and ask them to add the onions and cilantro as suggested by our server. Delicioso!!!
We were on our way to Robert is Here and we wanted to get some authentic Mexican food. We looked up a restaurant near and unfortunately was closed. So we went to the next available one which was Rosita’s. Best decision we made. The atmosphere was very welcoming and you immediately heard classic Spanish music. Afterwards we got some menus and looked at many options. We mainly got tacos and menudo. Simply delicious! If you want great authentic Mexican food, this restaurant is a must!
This is my husband's favorite place to get chilaquiles!! The green salsa is the best I've had next to my mom's cooking!!! We love coming here and spending time talking and eating good food!!!
This restaurant is great. The food is delicious and the serves is wonderful. They have great authentic Mexican options and all the right beers. And by the way, the guacamole is stupendous

It's rare to find a place where you can taste the passion in every bite, but this restaurant does exactly that. A beautiful blend of authentic Mexican flavors, friendly service, and true family pride. heartwarming If you're craving Mexican food - this is the spot.

We loved this place. It's friendly, small, homemade, cheap and delicious. Had been out snorkeling all day, so we were looking for a sit down that is Uber casual but not fast food and voila! We found it. They had a walk in party of 22 which is more than half of the seats, stills.manged timely service with a smile. I tipped 25% because they don't charge enough.
As a suggestion by the front desk worker at the Holiday Inn Express, I took my son to have some authentic Mexican food as neither had eat any while in Florida yet. I'm glad she suggested this place as we both enjoyed her recommendation. My son & I both wanted more salsa due to the flavor, especially in my shrimp cocktail. The chimichanga was on point according to him as he barely was able to eat anything else including the appetizer he ordered. We're glad they provided to-go menu's as we'll be able to decide what we want to eat prior to our next visit.
The sauce and meat were great though, lots of food and spicy flavors
Food is definitely good but pricey compared to what we are used to. The big disappointment though was them saying they had margaritas and then charging $10 for the Gloria brand wine margarita. Should have to disclose it’s not tequila given the potential for allergy issues.

Food was awful the worst birria tacos I’ve seen or tasted , the tacos very basic . Save your money go elsewhere
Tasteless expensive food is my summary compared to what I have had as Mexican food. Chicken burritos seemed just chicken and rice, - my wife hated it, no flavor. I don’t think I can trust these other reviews about the taste or did we hit a bad day. Anyway, we will never comeback here for sure. But please improve the taste of your food.
