We had an amazing experience at Serafina Downtown Miami! Huge shoutout to Semet, our server, he was absolutely amazing and made sure we had the best time from start to finish. Attentive, warm, and on point. Popping champs! And the food… WOW. The carpaccio was perfect, topped with the most yummy, beautiful, tiny, potatoes — seriously outstanding. Every bite was delicious and beautifully done. Everything was amazing. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

The food was amazing and the restaurant is phenomenal. I got the crispy calamari, risotto of the day which it had all the seafood in it and definitely didn’t taste super fishy it was a super nice blend. Their tiramisu was really good and better than I expected. Definitely took me back to Italy for sure! The service was so great. Samet helped me with what I should choose and he was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu as well with the restaurant even if he’s been there for short time. Excellent service, food and atmosphere definitely will be back again!!!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. On top of that, the service was outstanding. Jessica was extremely attentive, friendly, and professional, making sure we felt welcome and well taken care of at all times. Thanks to her excellent service and the incredible food, our visit was truly memorable. I highly recommend this place and especially Jessica!

Serafina in downtown is hands down one of my favorite spots. The food is consistently amazing, but the mussels are on another level—absolutely delicious and always perfectly cooked. What truly makes this place special, though, is the service. The bartenders, Kat and Alyza, are incredible. Their energy, professionalism, and genuine care for guests are the reason I became a regular. They always make you feel welcome and taken care of, and they know exactly how to elevate the whole experience. Great food, great drinks, and even better service. Highly recommend!

Attended Serafina Downtown Miami for date night last night. Our server was Daniel and he was very attentive and kind. Our food arrived to our table very fast. It was delicious and you could tell, house-made. I ordered the Gnocci, it was soft and delicious. Only thing I feel it was missing was a nice piece of bread. The tiramisu for dessert was quite good as well. I loved the chocolate shavings on top. Overall we really enjoyed our experience and would return next time we visit Miami.

I ordered the chicken parmesan, the serving was huge. You can def share if you wanted to. My friends got the pepperoni pizza and it was also a good size for two to share. Also order the truffle fries! All in all the food was good and the atmosphere was great!

I come to Serafina often as a regular usually sitting up at the bar area. Kat is awesome and a great bartender! The food is great and atmosphere is perfect. There is a good balance of happy hour food specials + regular menu items. Also they sponsored an event with my apartment complex. It was very nice and great environment for meeting other people. The best items are the Alfredo with chicken, the meatballs and the chocolate cake. It's great Italian food matching the quality of other restaurants in the area. Recently my last two visits were really great. I could not travel for Christmas because of nose surgery. Serafina had a Christmas brunch which was so great and made my holiday. Also for New Year's eve they had a nice menu with really good cake. Serafina is fitting into the neighborhood very nicely and caters both to tourists and the regulars like myself very well.

Stopped by Serafina with a friend to kill some time before a Miami Heat game and really enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere. We first sat at the tables near the bar, but no one came by after several minutes. As soon as I moved to the bar, we were helped within two minutes. We had two glasses prosecco, a Margherita pizza, and the fried calamari. The pizza was just okay, but the calamari were really good. Overall, a nice experience, and I’d come back to try more of the menu.

Great spot for people watching seated at an outdoor table. Conveniently located just outside CitizenM hotel. Delicious mussels in garlic butter, shallots, cherry tomatoes and sprigs of fresh thyme. My waiter, Samet, was informative, attentive, efficient and very cute. Enjoy your time here!

This is the place to be if you love to take pictures, need a place close to the Omni and love Italian food. We came when it was Valentine’s Day, so the prices were elevated but so was the quality of food and service. I loved it. They were kind enough to make me a mock tail from the menu.

Absolutely the best. My boyfriend and I loved it so much we went there twice during our three day vacation. Cute and bougie, close to everything. The space has a lush green vibe and the food was incredible. We left smiling and our hearts are still with them.

Tammy was an excellent server at Serafina—on point, super efficient, and genuinely attentive. I never had to track her down for anything, and she knew the menu inside and out. The food was amazing, and the tiramisu was absolutely out of this world. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Reviewing all my restaurants during my art Basel week in Miami. Arrived for dinner with the ladies to start our night out and i must say, everything was beautiful starting with the hostess to the ladies at the bar, even our server who looked like Drake was handsome (we’re sorry for harassing him about his dating life 😂). Overall the food was ok but we loved the decor, music, and espresso martinis which got us ready for a long night out.

I thought Earls had the bar set pretty high, but Serafina took it even further. One of the best pastas I’ve ever had — the farfalle limoncello was insane — and the pistachio panna cotta? Brutal in the best way. What started as a quick lunch turned into a 3-hour dinner with a bottle of prosecco and zero desire to leave the table. The outdoor seating is a dream — there’s something about the vibe at Miami Worldcenter that just hits different.

I haven't been to Serafina in a long time and never to this location… Food is good, ambience is amazing but the best part that made it unforgettable is the server Samet. He was very friendly, professional and gave me amazing recommendations. I come from NY often and he definitely had the nyc vibe and speed!! Which is refreshing in Miami… I will definitely recommend to others and have them ask for Samet!!

The Best Italian Restaurant! I totally recommend this place. The food was simply amazing — every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Alejandro, our waiter, made the whole experience even better. He recommended new dishes that we absolutely loved, and thanks to him we discovered flavors we might not have chosen on our own. We enjoyed it so much that we came back again during our stay in Miami, and it was just as perfect the second time. Had a great experience at Serafina in Downtown Miami. Andrea, the hostess, was incredibly kind and accommodating on very short notice and even made an exception timewise to squeeze me in. The hospitality was unexpectedly delightful and truly appreciated. I look forward to returning with a larger party now that I know the welcoming and professional ambiance that is established the minute you walk in. Expecting to be told that I was too late or should try somewhere else, I again would be remiss if I didn't emphasize Andreas nonchalant and helpful assistance, particularly since it is an area I am not at all familiar with.Had a great experience at Serafina in Downtown Miami. From the moment we sat down, we experienced GREAT service at Serafina – attentive, friendly, and just perfect. And let's talk about the food: the meatballs were the BOMB! I have been a loyal Serafina customer at both NYC locations and now the new Downtown Miami World Center location. I am a Condo owner at a neighboring building called Marina Blue at 888 Biscayne Blvd. I am so happy that Serafina is my neighborhood restaurant. I order takeout most of the time due to the proximity of the restaurant to my home. The bartenders and hostesses and especially the manager are always professional and respectful, which I expect as a New Yorker and they have always gone above and beyond to make me feel like family which is rare as a transplant from the Northeast. The food is always delicious and ready on time. Best addition to the neighborhood!!!

Came in with a large group on a busy Sunday evening, and we could tell right away the restaurant was packed. We were a bit worried about timing since we had a show to get to, especially after seeing a nearby table waiting longer for their food. That said, I have to give major props to our waiter, Samit . He was amazing—quickly stepped behind the bar to prepare our drinks himself, made great recommendations, took our orders efficiently, and truly saved the night for us. His attentiveness and hustle made all the difference, and we were extremely appreciative. Samit absolutely rocks.

Dinner tonight at Serafina Miami was exactly what we were hoping for — great energy, incredible food, and a place that works just as well for a date night as it does for a family night. From the moment we sat down, Samet took phenomenal care of us. Attentive without hovering, great recommendations, and especially thoughtful with our kids. He made the whole experience feel easy and fun. The pasta was outstanding, the pizza was perfect, and the vibe strikes that rare balance — elevated but still relaxed enough for our son and daughter to feel right at home. If you’re in Miami and want authentic Italian in a lively setting with top-tier service, Serafina delivers. We’ll absolutely be back.

Party of 5- Beautiful restaurant with extremely friendly and accommodating staff. My grandmother’s diet is very restricted due to her health. The chefs personalized a dish for her and she loved it! Samet was the best! He was very patient and catered to my grandmother’s food requests. He listened to what she wanted and delivered phenomenal service. Thanks Serafina! We highly recommend!

Stunning space in a beautiful newish area downtown. The space is amazing. Realize it is Miami but I just got back from NYC and felt the comparative prices here were ridiculous for the quality of food. The least expensive spaghetti with tomato sauce (no protein) is $25. It was ok. They advertise San Marzano tomatoes in it but I question it. Service was VERY friendly and accommodating. Shortrib ravioli was ok for $36 for lunch. Looks like it would be a lot of fun at happy hour. Raspberry espresso martini was wonderful!

Serafina is a cozy and nice spot, perfect for a relaxed happy hour. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the overall vibe was great. The dishes we tried were delicious and well-prepared. A lovely place to enjoy good food and a pleasant ambiance in downtown Miami.

Samet was an amazing server; he was so patient and accommodating as we ordered for my grandmother who has dietary restrictions. His service alone is a reason to come back!

Had the linguine Vongole, really good, only complaint was that many of the clam shells were broken and I had to dig them out of the pasta. But overall, service was great and the food was awesome once I got the broken shells out!

I enjoyed a group meal here on Friday evening 23 Jan 26. Due to the group size and price point per head we had a set menu. For the price range the food did not meet everyone's expectation. However, my personal view is that the food was more than adequate for the price range agreed by group. Had we have gone for a higher price point I have no doubt the food options would have been a lot better. Irespective of all this, we had a lovely time together and the service provided was very good. I must highlight the great customer service provided by Tammy who handled a few challenges from the group very well. Her service, politeness and friendly and welcoming demeanour helped to keep things running smoothly. Thank you.

This place is located just downstairs of the building where I live, so I had visited it for a couple times already. I can say, very average and definitely not for a special occasion. Beautiful interior, nice patio, but food is not so great.

The restaurant is beautiful, with a pleasant atmosphere, and the food comes out very quickly — that’s a strong plus. However, several issues affected the overall experience. The bread served with both the tartare and the bruschetta was extremely dry — so much so that it actually hurt my gums. The Caesar salad was disappointing, no better than a 2/5. The dressing didn’t enhance the flavor at all. I was offered water, but it was never brought to the table. Also, the salad plate was unstable and kept moving every time I tried to take a bite, which made eating quite uncomfortable. On the positive side, the calamari were tasty, and the beef tartare itself was very good. The Margherita pizza was also enjoyable. Overall, the place has potential, but several details need improvement.

Great atmosphere, but the service is slow and the pasta a la vodka or the spicy pasta did not impress. It tasted like Ragu sauce on top of boiled pasta with no extra effort. $18 old fashioned drink was ok.

We were served by Alejandro A., who was polite but clearly lacked proper service technique and attention to detail. The restaurant’s decor follows the same interior design formula as many of the newer spots in Miami—stylish, but ultimately indistinguishable from the rest. The only standout feature was the bar, which I found visually appealing. Unfortunately, the lighting was among the worst aspects—far too dim to fully appreciate the food. We had the Truffle Fettuccine and Spaghetti Al Pacino. Both dishes were well executed, and we enjoyed a bottle of Torres Celeste Crianza from Ribera del Duero to accompany the meal. That said, I must point out a growing but problematic trend: the automatic inclusion of gratuity on the bill. Regardless of how common it's becoming, I believe it undermines the freedom of the guest to tip based on service. Including tax and tip, we paid $159—perhaps excessive for two pasta dishes and a bottle of wine.

Food and drinks are good. The staff is rude and inconsiderate. I would not go here for Miami Spice unless you want to play musical chairs with the staff. They’ll move you outside into the hot Miami sun because you are not allowed to order or eat Miami Spice menu in the dining area inside or at the bar. Nor are you able to order happy hour in the main dining area. It seems they built an entire dining area in the air conditioning only for those who want to pay full menu price. If you want Miami spice or happy hour you can sit outside in the heat while the inside air conditioned area is empty. Food is good though. Staff has an attitude and thinks they are too good for you. What is the point of having a happy hour or Miami Spice menu if you are not going to let customers order?

I live nearby and was excited to try this place. My sister and I came for happy hour and sat at the bar, which was crowded—but there was no one actually working it. Servers came by to pick up drinks for the dining area, but none acknowledged or responded to patrons sitting at the bar after more than 30 minutes. When we finally spoke to a bartender, he said it was only his second day and that the lack of service “wasn’t his problem,” then rolled his eyes. Needless to say, we left and enjoyed happy hour elsewhere. Hopefully, Serafina gets the kinks worked out.

The truffle pizza has a thin crust and is served in a relatively large portion, but it’s extremely greasy. I’ve never had a pizza like this in my life — I couldn’t finish it because of how oily it was. The red wine was served extremely warm, completely undrinkable. But honestly, I should have noticed it earlier: there’s a wine cellar where the bottles are displayed under very strong lighting — inside the cellar itself. That alone should have been a red flag. Despite the beautiful decor, it’s clear the place doesn’t really understand wine, since storing bottles like that can easily ruin them. I’m giving 2 out of 5 stars — and not just 1 — because the waiter genuinely did his best.

I usually don’t like to leave reviews like this, but we felt it was important to share our experience. We went yesterday with my boyfriend and had to wait about 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. No one approached us, so I eventually had to get up and speak with a manager to see if someone could attend us. Unfortunately, the hostess was a bit rude from the moment we asked where we could sit, and that tone continued when we later asked whether she had notified the server about our table. That interaction also contributed to the overall experience. The happy hour runs until 7:00 pm, and we arrived around 6:40 pm. Between the wait and trying to get someone to come to the table, it was already almost 7 by the time the server finally arrived. We ask him about the drinks in HH, he replied “all of the classics”. There is nothing personal against the server — he was nice. Also the server assistant came to apologize and we said we understand. However, the experience would have been completely different if someone had at least come by earlier, brought us water, and said something like, “We’re very busy right now, but we’ll be with you shortly.” That small gesture would have made a big difference. We visit Miami World Center often and really enjoy the area, but I don’t think we will return to this particular place, as we truly value the overall experience and service.

Whenever you see a new restaurant with low reviews, and especially a chain restaurant that has done this multiple times, one always wonders what happened, and mostly it’s about the leadership at the top - especially the restaurant management. In our case, we ended up on a Monday with the restaurant 80 percent empty. On this particular day, they had run out of the house red to go with the food. While there were five other wines that were available by the glass , we were not allowed to substitute. Finally, courtesy the bartender we were offered a low cost Malbec that was not on the wine list. Several questions here: why do you have a cheap wine in the bar but not on the menu unless you are feeding it to unsuspecting customers. How much money are you gonna lose by substituting one red wine glass with another from already open bottles? And most importantly, how well are you training your staff to create happy experiences for your customers? After all, 80 percent of the questions your servers face are tied to 20 percent of the issues. Just remind your staff about these issues in your afternoon staff meeting till it becomes like A, B, Cs for them. On the food side, we simply had the pizza and it has nothing special to it. One can totally avoid it if needed. But, not everything was bad. a shout out to Vlada for giving us a listening ear and understanding the issues. To the super senior management, you can invest millions of dollars, but without the right people, you are just another 4.1 rated restaurant in a busy Miami restaurant scene. Good luck!

A stunningly beautiful place with completely clueless management. The food is absolutely tasteless, and the service is unbearably pushy — the waiters, seemingly high, don’t serve you so much as rush you out from the moment you arrive. To top it off, the staff apparently doesn’t know that on a birthday, the candle on the cake is supposed to be lit before it’s brought to the table, not after. Ridiculous.

Ok, so I don’t like to give this kind of review, but unfortunately this place just... I don’t even have the words to express my disappointment. I chose this place for my partner’s birthday and was excited because it was a new spot and we love Italian food. When we arrived, we had to wait a few minutes until someone was available to attend to us. When we saw the host, we asked her if that was where we were supposed to wait, and she said yes—just wait for me, I’ll be right back—which never happened. A lovely woman showed us a few minutes later where to sit and was kind, especially since the table was for four and we were just two. They offered us prosecco on the house, and we appreciated the gesture. We waited more than 15 minutes until someone took our order. The waiter was really kind and did his best with the resources available to him. As for the food, it wasn’t anything extraordinary. Honestly, I’ve been in better places. My boyfriend ordered a truffled beef carpaccio and bruschetta, which weren’t good. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, and I have to say that was the best dish of the bunch. I also ordered truffle fettuccine, and my boyfriend had spaghetti al pacino. According to him, it wasn’t bad, but unfortunately, the chef didn’t want to accommodate our requests, so we moved on. I honestly didn’t have a good time there. Maybe it was just that day, or I don’t know, but for a barely new place, it was pretty empty. And can we talk about the bill? Too expensive for that quality. The worst money I have ever spent P.S.: Please also pay attention to the restrooms. They were pretty disgusting.

3rd time trying this restaurant and so glad it will not last long in the neighborhood. Just tried the pizza, and it's the last thing I'll ever eat there. I'd rather eat the scabs off the leg of a homeless man in July then ever touch the horrific thing they call pizza. Inedible... Junk, we have never had a slice of pizza and throw the rest of the pizzas away. No cheese, no sauce, no taste....AVOID this place. The photo is a pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni. 🤢 The picture looks way better that this thing tastes.

The restaurant itself was excellent; however, the hostess, Andrea, was unprofessional and rude upon greeting us. Her attitude was off-putting and not reflective of the quality or standards of the establishment. It was a disappointing start to what was otherwise a great experience.

I was really excited to have dinner at this restaurant, but the experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The hostess told us they were not accepting walk-ins due to being understaffed. I noticed they still had reservations available on OpenTable, so I offered to make one for later, but she said no again. I then decided to go to the bar, but the situation made me feel uncomfortable, so I ended up leaving. Overall, the interaction felt unwelcoming and confusing, which was disappointing given how excited I was to try this place.

As a person that works in the industry i was taken by shock as i walked into serafina outside of my apartment to grab a few drinks and bites. instead i walked up to the door to be approached by a rude hostess stating “ no reservation, no table.” due to the fact of “ flow of service???? and then stated that even if i make a reservation they won’t accept it even though open table had 8pm-10pm open on the books and restaurant had open dining available. Was excited about the restaurant and try the food but the hospitality and fun was stripped from me and my girlfriend due to this.

This restaurant is near our building, and tonight we decided to stop by for a simple dinner after the gym. Since it's not a formal restaurant, I was still wearing my gym outfit. When my husband and I arrived, we noticed two hostess who purposely ignored us without say hi or welcome anything, and gave us looks that suggested we were not welcome. Their behavior was the lowest class that equals their title, we are in Miami, you all know what is. By the way, most of the times we pass by this place is empty, lucky to have some customers as it’s holiday time, the restaurant in front Earls is so much better, food, service and vibe.

Bar Service is horrible! I usually come on here to review when I have a HORRIBLE experience. For starters, this location does not give what the NYC location gives as far as guest service! My neighbor and I who are local saw Serafina had their sign outside for Happy Hour so we went there. Long story short they didn’t offer happy hour (least of our worries) but the Bartender was so rude and obnoxious (my arrival was at 10:08pm didn’t get a drink until 10:38pm from female bartender with curly blonde brown hair). I made short conversation because I recognized her from the bowling alley bar. She was so sarcastic and obnoxious when I was just being friendly. She even refused to make our drinks and had the guy bartender, whom magically appear, make our drinks and serve us . Due to the rude behavior my neighbor insisted we leave and go across to Earls for round 2. Upon leaving our tab was $52 for two martinis. I asked if tip was included and sure enough the rude female bartender advised yes proudly (20% by the way). First time I saw her smile the entire time. No wonder their bar is slow and not packed. The service took 30min to order one drink then she was rude because it was auto gratuity (makes sense now).

I was really disappointed with my visit. First, the server never mentioned that soda drinks didn’t come with free refills, so I was surprised to see extra charges added to the bill. Clear communication would have helped. What concerned me most was that I saw what looked like a rodent running across the floor during my meal. It made me really uncomfortable and definitely affected my trust in the cleanliness of the restaurant. Overall, I didn’t feel the service or environment met basic expectations for the amount I paid and I won’t be returning.

The lobster ravioli was overly fishy and unpleasant. The chicken parmigiana was extremely thick with a strange and almost steamed like texture. The salad was bland and below average. Service was cold and limited to taking our order—no follow-up, no engagement. Brought focaccia without us ordering. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

WORST SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MIAMI!! Since the moment we got there place was empty and it took them 15 minutes to figure out where we should sit. After we got to our table we didnt have a waitress stop by for another 20 mins, we went ahead and ordered and the appetizers came in at the same time with our main dishes. They forgot to bring one appetizer and didnt follow instructions on our food and had to make again.

We were in line to be seated when a woman showed up with a dog. It shit in the middle of the walkeay. She began dragging the dog past us in line as the dog was attempting to continue shitting. And they led her inside th restaurant. I suspect it shit on the floor inside the restaurant. At this point, we left. The smell was horrible.

We came to the restaurant and were seated at a table, but for the next 15 minutes no one came to us. During all that time, not a single staff member checked on us, asked if we were ready to order, offered water, or even acknowledged us. What made it especially disappointing is that we were there with a small child. When you come with your family, you expect at least basic attention from the staff. We are not first-time visitors — we come to this restaurant quite often — which made this experience even more frustrating. In the end, we simply got up and left because there was no point in waiting any longer. It’s really unfortunate, because the food here is actually very good. However, the service that evening was extremely poor and completely ruined the experience. I hope the management pays attention to situations like this, because with this level of service it’s hard to feel motivated to come back.

I went to Serafina with friends for dinner on Friday, 12/05/2025, before heading to Factory Town. The appetizers were great, the wine was good, and the service was pleasant at first. Two of us ordered the chicken parmesan, and one friend ordered pasta with marinara. After about four bites of my chicken parmesan, I realized the center of the chicken was completely raw and pink. Because chicken parmesan is breaded on the outside, this wasn’t immediately noticeable. I was extremely disgusted and notified management right away. After seeing mine, my friend no longer felt comfortable eating her chicken parmesan. The manager offered to bring me another entrée, but I felt nauseated and didn’t want another chicken dish. I instead had tiramisu and another glass of wine. We were told a round of drinks would be on the house since I didn’t replace my meal, but when the check came, those drinks were still included. We also asked for separate checks, but the bill was split evenly between the three of us instead. I ended up paying around $40 for tiramisu and two glasses of wine that were supposed to be comped. It made me quite upset, as I felt I was not taken seriously because I am a young woman. To make matters worse, I felt sick later that night and had to miss events I had planned. Serving raw chicken is a serious food safety issue, and the way this situation was handled only made it worse. I will not be dining at Serafina again.
