Fantastic! I work for a company across the street from the café, so I arrive early and immediately stop for breakfast. There's nothing better than starting the day with a smile. It's impossible not to leave without a little laugh. Every customer is taken care of. Lunch is quick and the dishes are inviting, and the selection is extensive. For a tobacconist, it's actually much, much better!

E l'unico bar che è praticamente aperto sempre, è il punto di ritrovo per tutti quelli che la sera cercano un pacchetto di sigarette ed l'unico posto che vende le calamite dedite alla città di udine. Nonostante udine non sia una città estremamente turistica e che necessiti particolari souvenirs, mi è stata richiesta una calamita souvenirs di udine ( pensavo non esistesse ...), non vi dico che epopea per trovarne una ed invece il bar americano non so come le aveva... ne ho prese due...

Locale molto ben fornito, buono il caffè e l'aperitivo. Anche le proposte per la pausa pranzo sono invitanti. Personale cortese ed efficiente.

The staff is truly friendly and helpful. The bar, however, right next to the metro, is a bit small. Luckily, though, there's plenty of seating. We'll definitely be back, especially thanks to the kindness of the staff. Thank you!

Start the morning off right with cappuccino, brioches, and a welcoming atmosphere. The guys at the counter make you feel like you're among friends. Quick but not rushed service. A great start to the day, I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the area. Wide selection of sweet and plain brioches.

Castore

A small bar with an adjoining indoor dining area for lunch. A varied selection of pre-cooked and ready-to-heat first and second courses are available. Prices are reasonable but a bit high. It gets very busy during lunchtime, so reservations are recommended to ensure a spot. Given the size of the place, seating tends to fill up quickly enough.

Un porto di mare. Bar molto frequentato, c'è sempre un gran via vai di gente. Non trovo mai i tavoli puliti.

The coffee was excellent, and the staff was polite, with the exception of one barista with glasses who slurred every question he was asked, a very rude and annoying person. If it weren't for the rest of the staff, who were very friendly, I wouldn't go back.

This bar has been open since the early morning, with inexplicably high prices (almost €3 for a croissant and macchiato!) and a crowd that stares at you from 6 a.m. onwards. I didn't feel comfortable; it's not a place where I'd spend my money again. If you want a good breakfast in the morning, go to the other side of the square.

The atmosphere was very pleasant, the food was of excellent quality, but the service from the young man who served us was terrible. We asked questions, and he barely answered or even attended to us. Service rating: 0.

This morning I was at this bar and was shocked by the bartender's rudeness. He responded to customers in a rude and arrogant manner... The bartender's name is Cima, that's what his colleague called him. Cima is: Rude Arrogant Ignorant Unsuitable for working around other people. If one of my employees behaved like this, he'd be fired on the spot. And if the Cima in question is the owner of the bar, it would be even more serious...

Small place inside and unprofessional staff. Three miserable aperitifs, and they don't know how to make a spritz. Poor coffee. I don't recommend it.
