Staff very friendly, cakes looks insane, classic American style. I’m not a fan of cheesecake, but here is a must try, very light and yummy.

We had blueberry and strawberry cheesecakes. Strawberry one was for me too sweet, but blueberry just perfect! Nice staff, they speak English and are attentive and polite.

Before visiting the palace we wanted to have breakfast: this was the closest option. The terrace looks really great as it is below trees and umbrellas. The menu was a bit complicated at first as there are many options and prices. I choose the scrambled eggs with avocado: very nice! As it was so lovely to sit there, we decided to stay for tea and carrot cake. I need to go back to try the other cakes as well. It all looks amazing. Service was friendly and they all spoke English which makes life easier. Thanks!

I was craving an American breakfast so I Googled places. Initially, I was hesitant because it has less than 4 stars but I’m glad that I took a chance. It’s a cute restaurant, the staff was very friendly, the service was fast and food and coffee delicious. I had the Savory Omelette with prosciutto and cheese and a cappuccino. Delectable. If you are close to the Duomo and want to have a nice meal, I’d highly recommend it.

If U want to enjoy your time and eat grateful food, try it out. Kind and nice staff and friendly ambient. Two thumbs up! 👍🏻 I’ve been there several times. It has a nice atmosphere outside also.

Nice coffee and lunch place, they have vegan, vegetarian, gluten free dishes... The ambiance is super chill, the servers speak English fluently and the food is really tasty. The waiting time is pretty short and they have a large menu, sweet part and salty part. A good place to try in milan for sure.

Great atmosphere! Great food, really healthy with the top choice of the ingredients, I also loved the coffee and the service, but the Big Minus are the prices... It's pretty expensive for a breakfast and coffee...

We entered and immediately gave us a table. The waiter was very nice and gave us our food quite soon. Pancakes and the juice were really good. Slightly expensive but worth it for the quality and quantity. I would defenetly recommend.

Good place! The food was very good. I had tha pancakes and eggs (they dont ask if you want them fried, scrambled or boiled…) and bacon (12,50e) and added a mini salad fruit for 4e which it seemed to me VERY expensive for 3 pieces of fruit. Even though i asked for maple sirup and I didnt pay more for that. The coffee was nice! I recommend this place if you want an american blunt breakfast to go for a walk all day long! I didnt try cakes and cheesecakes but they had very good looking!!

Great food! The menu has an excellent variety of California staples like avocado toast, bagel sandwiches, and plant based burgers. I wound up taking a slice of poppy seed cake home for later. For the sake of clarity, this is a sit down restaurant, and also has the option to order takeaway. Make sure to announce that you want take away, and move to the cafe area to lessen the crowd at the pay station.

The salmon avocado toast was amazing. It was one on the best I have tried. I enjoyed my fried potatoes as well. What you should not miss here is its fresh cocktails. I take green cocktail and was super fresh and tasty.

Found this place for a brunch. Various plates to choose. We took Salad with chicken and Bagel plate with hash browns potatoes. While you’re waiting they give you a plate with some vegetables, bred and souses, which was pretty good. Brunch menu includes also 0,5 l of orange juice and coffee or tea. Tried also the apple pie. We chose the smallest peace (slim) , that was really big. Generally we liked this place. I would like to come back and try other plates. For two person we paid €47.

I ordered avocado toast with salmon & eggs. I also ordered a cappuccino. They were both so average. Salmon wasn’t fresh at all and super salty. It basically took away all the taste of the toast. And the cappuccino was so milky that I couldn’t feel any coffee. All in all my breakfast experience at California Bakery wasn’t good.

Came here past 11:00 on a Sunday, the menu looked great but they only served brunch options at this time. Service was slow and it wasn't full so be aware. Some of the items were good and others a bit disappointing (we even had fruit with a hair on it which they swiftly replaced, to be fair this can happen anywhere). I think this is a place you come to get big portions but don't mind about gourmet quality food that much (great for hangover or big families).

Very slow service. Waiter doesn't speak behaves like a wild man, brought the wrong order and took it later back without saying a single word. Food is mediocre, presentation is poor.

We came in at around 1pm and it wasn't until they sat us down that they told us that the only thing we could have was the brunch menu. The brunch menu seems amazing at first glance, cause you only have to pay for the main dish and then the side order, the orange juice, the coffe, and the little platter with bread and spreads comes included in the menu, but the prices of each dish were expensive. 17 euros for 2 pancakes, 30 euros for a hamburger, 20 euros por a bagel/avocado toast. So either the prices are super expensive or you are actually paying for everything else that comes "included with the menu". When we finished eating we waited for them to come with the coffee and take our dishes away, but no one came to check on us, it wasn't until the other table had to order that someone finally came to our floor. They brought us coffee without the milk, we asked for it and one of us had to go to the first floor and ask for it again when after 15 minutes of waiting it became clear that they weren't coming. When it came time to pay, we noticed that when we asked for water they automatically brought us the most expensive one they had, without telling us there was another choice, and they also charged us for the extra juice that we had to order, since we were 4 people and the jug they brought was barely enough for only half a glass each. The only reason I'm not giving it 1 star is because the food was okay.

They charged us a coperto even though the digital menu said “table service included” which includes the coperto, so it was a scam, also doesn’t say anywhere on the website or at the door or counter, stay away

Seriously, do not come here. The food is below average at best and overpriced. We ordered the poached eggs and avocado dish and the eggs came so overcooked they looked hard-boiled. The only redeeming quality was that staff were quick to replace the dish when we told them. But the replacement came with one less egg!? The dish was very underwhelming and plated sloppily without any care. Towards the end we also found a hair in the avocado but at that point we just wanted to leave. Seriously ruined a nice Sunday morning
