I like the place because of the atmosphere, so cool and interesting.
Great place, Only thing is the staff was NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL. Guy with glasses was being mean to my friends. He kicked us out rudely even though we were already leaving. Completely a shame because the place had a nice atmosphere and good drinks.
It has been quite a bit since I wanted to try this restaurant and I must say I was not disappointed. The space is nicely decorated, they have an extensive list of very unique cocktails and the food is awesome. I particularly liked the tempura octopus with wasabi soy sauce and the duck skewers. The guys are also very nice, the restaurant was very busy tonight though so sometimes it was difficult to catch their attention but just a tiny improved compared to the rest. I would definitely recommend to try it out!
Went everytime I was in Milan and wanted to eat Japanese. A right selection of tasty and well cooked dishes. We tried all menu in different years and also most of the drinks they offer. They have a menu dedicated to long drink and cocktails with particular and asiatic ingredients. Atmosphere is Japanese/chic . In the toilets the “music” is the recording of terminals in airports.
I enjoyed all the dishes and the sake.
I've been to Kanpai multiple times really love the atmosphere and the food! Service is also good. I believe there is the opportunity to make you feel a little bit more welcome. That said, amazingly authentic Japanese vibe paired with exquisite food.

Food was incredibly delicious, wines and cocktails were on point too. Staff is very friendly and knows their products. Would recommend to book a table as they re very busy. Definitely will be back here.
One of my favorite places to hang out in Milan. The food is really delicious and you can always find new things on the menu, the drinks are nice and creative, the staffs are super friendly. It’s always full so it’s better to book early. I prefer sitting at the bar than sitting inside.
It has its own unique atmosphere when i compare with regular places in milan. food was delicious, the prices meet the quality & taste of the food. Stuff is cheerful and respectful. A great place for dinners with small group of friends

Nice Japanese-style bar. The ambiance is genuinely reminiscent of Japan and they exclusively offer Japanese products. The staff is not only knowledgeable about their offerings but also incredibly friendly and welcoming. I recommend this bar for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic Japanese experience.
Very nice restaurant, great service, decent wine and good food! Dined in for dinner. Not the best ever, but satisfied. Split bill 4 ways, paid about €40 each for drinks and dinner. Recommend
Fantastic Japanese restaurant in town. Great service and cocktail card. Quite peculiar interior and definitely great food with quite some creative twist.
Recently opened in February 2018, this stylish izakaya offers an ambience to match Chef Jun's modern interpretation of Japanese cuisine. The bar also offers plenty of interesting cocktails with which to commence one's evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here!

Says open til 1am but doesnt serve food. Dont come here for food past 10
I was super excited to visit this eatery for dinner but it was extremely underwhelming. The quality of food does not match the prices. The cocktail I ordered was literally iced chicken curry with gin. The texture of the meat on the skewers tasted like it’s been spiked with meat tenderizer. The crispy chicken bao had nothing but a touch of wasabi and a fried piece of boneless chicken. The staff is helpful and friendly, the place is very earthy and eclectic, but at the end of the day what really matters is the quality of food and value of money, which is missing.
