Wow- just wow! We stopped in to have a celebratory meal and Vice Steak Bar did not disappoint! The steak with the chimichurri sauce is both tender and flavorful. The steakhouse burger with the Russian dressing and tallow roasted potatoes convinced us to order another side of tallow roasted potatoes. And the desserts... The peach cheesecake with sweet tea gelee is a surprising, yet delightful combination of Georgian flavors. We highly recommend.

This is my second time coming here, the first time they had veal schnitzel so I ordered that instead of steak, this time I went back for the steak. We had pork belly burnt ends, fabulous. As sides we ordered Crispy Broccoli Cauliflower and cream spinach, both were amazing, I liked the spinach more. For my steak I ordered the filet, MR, they nailed it. The quality of the beef is spot on! I had the garlic butter sauce with it. My girlfriend ordered the Pan Roasted veal cutlet, heads up, its fried not pan roasted, we love it as it was basically schnitzel. The roasted mushrooms they put on top flavor did not go with the schnitzel, too sweat. I don't remember what we had for desert but it was really good, see photo.

We came on Valentines and needed to reschedule and I am SO happy we came back. The food was amazing, Emily, our server, and the Jamie Saad , the manager, truly are amazing and made up completely. We already scheduled brunch for Sunday! Come back and give them a chance !!!

We came here for brunch and had such a great experience from start to finish. We sat on the patio, which was pleasantly peaceful and had a really romantic feel. Perfect for a relaxed morning together. I ordered the avocado bruschetta and the Cobb salad with wagyu both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I also had an espresso martini, which was smooth and so well-balanced. My boyfriend had the wagyu strip and eggs along with the fresh scones and homemade jam, and he couldn’t stop talking about how good everything was. He also ordered the spicy Bloody Mary, and it was the perfect kick to start the morning. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was lovely, and every dish and drink felt thoughtfully made. Highly recommend this spot for a delicious and memorable brunch!

This felt like a proper city steakhouse, but right here in Crabapple! We went just to have drinks at the bar, but decided to stay for dinner. None of us wanted to spend a lot of money, so a couple Steak Frites were ordered and the veal shanks. None of us were disappointed! The steak was tender and cooked perfectly, the arugula salad was the perfect accompany and the fries were totally delicious. My friends who love a good wine, we’re happy also!

We went here for dinner after sampling their offerings at Crabapple Fest that same day and we had the best experience as a family of four with our children who also loved the food as much as the adults. Delicious food, perfect service from Sam, outstanding cocktails, steak was cooked perfectly. The crab mac and cheese as a side was probably my favorite item on the menu, and my kids and I know our mac and cheeses! Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality. We’re making this one a regular part of our rotation and are so excited to have Vice Steak Bar in our area. Let’s keep this one here!!!

Great and friendly atmosphere! Food was amazing and dinner sevice was absolutely outstanding. Jamie (manager) and Emily were absolutely great tonight and made our Friday date night experience a 10 out of 10. Would highly recommend anyone to stop by Vice Steak Bar!!

My first visit to Vice Steak Bar for my birthday dinner. I couldn't have found a better dining experience or food. We chose the scallops and the burrata salad to start and that really set the tone for the quality and excitement for the rest of our dinner. The presentation was so colorful and beautiful. The wagyu steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection. We had the street corn and roasted potatoes. They were equally as awesome! Our server was attentive and shared the restaurants farm to table concept and had great recommendations from the menu. We finished our meal with a rich chocolate budino. It was a great birthday meal and we will be back!!

The brunch experience here was fantastic from start to finish. A welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff along with the meal was everything my girlfriend and I were looking forward to! I had the Wagyu steak and eggs and it was cooked to perfection! We’ll definitely be making this our Sunday brunch spot!

If I could give them a 20, I would. This is by far the best new restaurant in the entire Alpharetta and Milton area. What took them so long? This is the comfortable and sophisticated steakhouse we all have been waiting for with some of the best food I’ve enjoyed. Wine is a great value too for the level.

Always an amazing experience. Vice is a comfortable, family feel with incredible food to boot! We’ve eaten at the bar and in the dining room- both are great!

Sam is amazing! He has great wine knowledge and led us to the perfect bottle for our evening. His recommendation of the steak tartare was spot on as it was the best we’ve ever had. The steaks are delicious and the service is outstanding! Must try in Milton

Vice Steak Bar is new and exactly what the Milton area needed. The venue has two patios, a fantastic bar, a wide open dining area, a private dining room for bigger parties, and I always appreciate a place where you have view into the kitchen. The restaurant itself is well kept, you can always judge a place by their bathrooms and theirs is stunning! The food is farm to table and the quality shows. The cocktail menu has a fun take on some traditional drinks and some new modern ones too. The wine list is impressive for a fun date night or big life celebration. My favorite about of my experiences there is by far the hospitality. This place goes above and beyond to make sure you have a good time and they truly look forward to seeing you again soon. If you haven’t been yet, get yourself a reservation and be ready to have yourself a great time. I have every time I’ve gone!

We are local to the Crabapple area (within walking distance to the restaurant) and absolutely love Vice! The food, service and overall atmosphere are always top notch! Everyone at the restaurant has always been so welcoming, attentive and accommodating to our dining experience…every single time! We will continue to make this one of our “regulars” and would highly recommend!

Olivia was very attentive, even on a busy night like Valentine’s Day. She made sure our waters were full even though she had lots of tables to manage. She gave us updates anytime she could on our order status. The food was delicious, especially the steak tartare!

I had a great experience at VICE. My waitress Daisy was great and very friendly. She made the meal feel very special and ensured all the drinks were always full. The food was delicious, and I will definitely come back.

Farm to table is the BEST and this place is legit! Steaks were so tender and full of flavor. The sides were complimentary and the desserts were to die for! When you go, make sure you order the Burrata & Roasted Pear salad. We've gotta get back soon for more of ALL of it!

Hands down the best oysters that I’ve had in the Atlanta area along with an excellent steak. Service and staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Easy 5 star and worth every penny with fair prices.

We recently visited your restaurant for brunch. It was in a beautiful location - nice staff and great food. We had the avocado and egg on toast and the Belgium waffles with fruit - WOW! The banana bread had a rich flavor to it! We hope to return and would definitely recommend your restaurant to our friends. It was a great experience!

I enjoyed my visit and brunch at this very cozy and great vibe steak house! My server Daisey was the best server I've ever had. She was professional and prompt. And the food was delicious. I've been here a couple of times and will continue to visit! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Our dining experience at Vice was one of the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, and every appetizer was excellent. The shrimp came with a fantastic sauce, the oysters Rockefeller were large and flavorful, and the tuna tartare was incredibly tasty. They raise their own cattle, and it truly shows in the quality of the meat. Be sure to checkout their Butcher Shop Vice Kitchen! Both the picanha and ribeye had beautiful sears and were cooked to perfection. Tracy was a 5-star server—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Chef Nick is very talented. We’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommended! 5+ stars.

You have managed to do something truly rare in the culinary world: you’ve created a space that feels like a prestigious, upscale destination while remaining as warm and welcoming as a neighborhood haunt. From the moment guests arrive at your Milton location at 3000 Heritage Walk, there is an unmistakable energy—a "Southern edge" that perfectly balances sophistication with a laid-back, approachable vibe.

We had the best experience thanks to our waitress Skyla! She was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely made our day better. Our food came out fast, drinks stayed full, and she made us feel really welcome. Definitely one of the best servers we’ve ever had! Atmosphere was great as well

Our community finally has the steakhouse it’s been missing — and it’s incredible. From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the perfectly cooked, flavorful steaks, everything is done right. DO NOT forget to order the beef tallow FRIES… dreamy!! The space feels upscale yet comfortable, making it perfect for date night or a casual dinner out. The service is attentive, the sides are just as impressive as the mains, and every detail feels thoughtful. Highly recommend — this spot is here to stay.

Every time I eat there, the food is consistent! I recently had dinner at Vice with my family who was in town . We were taking care of by Tracy. She did a wonderful job. My parents really enjoyed the Vice Steak Burger and my brother and his family loved the grass fed filet mignon’s and ribeye. When it comes to value and quality, I would choose Vice Steak bar over most of the steakhouses in Atlanta. I definitely recommend this restaurant!!!

The restaurant is nice and the food is good. I went here for Valentines day with my friends and was very pleased. The best part of the meal was our lovely waitress Daisey. She was an absolute pleasure. While the food was good and all, I would mostly go back to the restaurant to see her. The best waitress I have had at any steakhouse I have been to.

Absolutely fantastic date night spot, great service from the second we walked in. Our server, Danny, suggested the steak frites for myself. It came out perfect rare as ordered with a mountain of crispy shoestring fries. Danny also let me know they use beef tallow in all of their fryers and it shows. Great wine pairings provided by our server as well. Wonderful spot, we will return soon

Had a great experience here! My boyfriend and I ordered the steak frites and the Vice steak burger and both were excellent, perfectly cooked and exactly how we wanted! Our server Danny was very attentive and had amazing recommendations for wine parings and cocktails! Loved the vibe of this place and will definitely be back!!!

Went there on Sunday Night the course entree on the menu that we wanted they don’t have it , also french onion soup is watery lack of taste, I can see the intention behind the dish, but the flavor didn’t fully come through for me.

Good, not great. It has potential. The staff is a little unprofessional IMO. We were the only ones in the place, so there were a lot of waitresses with nothing to do. They hung out for a while at the kitchen window talking. Didn’t love listening to that. Mussels were amazing. Caesar salad had good flavor but was way overdressed, rendering the lettuces a soggy mess - loved the fried capers though. Mains were good, just not hot. They were warm, but on the edge of sending back. The thing about the temperature is that we watched them come out of the kitchen and directly to our table. So they should’ve been piping hot and weren’t. The meal also felt rushed, just not paced well. Again, since we were the only diners, that should’ve been different. One other note is that on my Market Fish, there were raw, seared leeks on the plate - maybe a garnish but it was a gross one. We will be back, but they need to work some kinks out.

We had family dinner celebrating a special occasion. I thought the food was good and wine list was fine. The atmosphere was very casual, a little nicer than a sports bar. The atmosphere and food quality didn’t match the price.

Sam was amazing. Truly cared about the guest experience! The steak was absolutely delicious but the atmosphere and some of the offerings left us feeling like this establishment hasn’t figured out who they really are. Not bad, but not great. The female staff were dressed like the were servers at a biker bar, I’m sorry to say. Embarrassing and very inappropriate for a place offering $70+ steaks in Alpharetta. We’ll be going back to Lapeer, where the staff and the food are deserving of the higher price point.

Going the day after Valentine's was probably not the best idea, but life happens. We didn't realize Sunday is a fixed menu otherwise we would not have gone here. With that being said a lot of the menu items are sold out, on a fixed menu. But I can say they had plenty of arugula and fries. The ladies lying in the sun drink was okay, the lemon drop was not good. The service was okay. There were only 2 waitresses and the manager on the floor. One waitress was great, ours was just okay. I had to flag her down to get another drink but later she wanted to take my plate when I still had a file of fries left. Several reviews mentioned they had great mac and cheese, I was very disappointed when we found out they had a fix menu and Mac and cheese wasn't on it... But it would probably not have been available even if it was on the menu. The chef at the window was wearing a Buc-ee's shirt, definitely a different vibe then Aberdeen's.

As regulars of the establishment that previously occupied this space, we walked in with high hopes and a bit of nostalgia. Given the positive buzz surrounding the new spot, we wanted to see if it could live up to the standard of our old weekly haunt. Unfortunately, the experience was a bit of a roller coaster. The Service & Drinks Our waitress was nice and attentive. She pointed us toward the Cowboy Wagyu Shareable, which sounded promising. However, the bar experience got things off to a rocky start. I requested a Long Island Iced Tea, specifically asking for it to be "strong and sweet." What I received tasted more like a sugar-free iced tea. I traded it in for a Moscow Mule, which was fine, but certainly didn't "wow" me. The Food The kitchen results were equally hit-or-miss: Cowboy Wagyu: We asked for Medium, but it arrived Medium-Rare. While some prefer that, it wasn't what we ordered, and it made the "shareable" centerpiece of our meal a bit disappointing. It also relied too much on salt which was visibly on the steak. The Sides: We tried several, but most were unnoteworthy. The Standout: The Crab Meat Mac and Cheese was the undisputed star of the table. It was the only dish of the night that was memorable for the right reasons—creamy, flavorful, and well-executed. The Verdict We gave it a fair shot, but it didn't quite capture the magic of the previous spot or live up to the glowing reviews we’d read. While the staff is friendly and the Mac and Cheese is excellent, the inconsistency in the bar and the kitchen means we probably won't be returning to our "weekly regular" status anytime soon.

First time here. Way overpriced for the quality & quantity (see bill in picture), way too loud, took forever for the food to come out and poor service (empty drinks, cold/over cooked food, etc.)

My wife and I have been here a couple times and the food is always pretty solid. Expensive but good. We decided to go there to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year. When my wife first made the reservation there was no mention of a special menu, we were only made aware of The planned 4 course menu when we walked in…It was expensive but we decided to splurge. Disaster! The food was ok, but it took over 3 hours from start to finish. The wait staff seemed confused. They were barely present because they had jammed as many tables as they could in the dining room. Way too many diners pushed into 1 room. Other than the main course, the portions of the other courses were quite small. Again for what we were being charged I would have expected more. We sat patiently between course 3 and 4 for 45 minutes….yep 45 minutes. My wife and I just sat and watched as other diners were leaving early frustrated with their experience as well. Being shoved so close to each other it was easy to hear complaints. I’m not saying I won’t go back. But for future consideration I hope the managers consider a more manageable menu and take the time to better structure the support staff to make sure they are working just as hard to provide a special evening for their customers as the managers were pushing way too many folks into the dinning room. I felt bad for the servers, they seemed alone on the floor. I couldn’t tell if anyone was trying to direct traffic or not.

We had a terrible experience on New Years Eve. The set menu was awful and everything came out cold and took forever. We had a 6:15 reservation and at 10PM still didn’t have an entree. We just told them we had to leave. Basically it was 300 bucks for four bites of food and cold bisque. We expected someone from management to come around, but all we got was a social media guy taking a million pictures of us and telling us he has no idea when the food would come.

Went for Valentine’s Day- the servers were wearing crop tops and jeans while all guests were dressed very nice and served a not very well advertised special menu that was more expensive for one person than it would’ve been for two normally. Servers lacked attentiveness and all food was majorly under seasoned. I also think they added more tables which made it a lot less intimate and my husband was back to back with another person. Currently am not considering coming back for regular menu. Only reason they’re getting more than one is because the dessert was good.

Had a reservation my boyfriend made a month ago at 7:30PM, got out table at 8PM. Had our first course at 8:30PM. Was served our second course at 9:30PM. The food was subpar and ultimately worse than Outback, which I would recommend faster than this place. The only positive thing was that we were not charged our food and only for a drink, yet the negative was that the drinks served were supposed to be on the house. We do not plan on ever coming back, because there was clearly a breakdown between the kitchen, the hostesses beginning to serve as waiters/waitresses and the food hardly being high class. The bartender was PHENOMENAL, a sweet brunette we never got the name to. Add to the icing of this cake, I was served gluten when we let the waitress know I am Celiac, severe to add, and she “foreshadowed” I would receive a gluten based dish.

Valentines dinner was an epic fail. Took 3 hours to get the main course for a prix fixe menu! Nearly an hour before 1 drink order was delivered. Manager said resi system glitched and were overbooked by 100+. If true, there would have been a line out the door - there wasn't. To his credit he comped the food. Server was absent, poorly tended to the table and had to be asked twice or flagged down for anything. His attitude upset several of the tables around us.

L
Leigh Anne Bongiovanni

Vice Steak Bar had an opportunity to address their disastrous Valentine’s evening, evident by the barrage of one star reviews by customers, many who walked out after waiting hours for food. We know because we were there and were served the short rib, which it was incredibly dry. Instead of taking any responsibility they’ve obviously asked several people to give them 5 stars in the last couple of days. Evident by the onslaught of reviews to push down the 1 star reviews. Instead of addressing those that had a terrible experience, the owner has chosen to only reply to the 5 stars reviews and has not addressed one review from the folks that made reservations on Valentine’s Day only to have their nights ruined by the epic operational failure that evening. I encourage those thinking about choosing Vice to take a close look at all of the reviews before making a decision to dine there.

B
Brandy Krivoruchka

In 1 word: horrible. Arrived at 7:00 for our reservation and had to ask three times for drink menus and then wait 45 minutes for our arrogant server to bring a glass of wine and a martini. The food was served embarrassingly slowly and cold. Many couples started leaving halfway through their meals because it was so slow. The excuse given was that they mistakingly double booked the entire evening. However, there was no line to get in the door and we observed 3 empty tables while sitting and waiting for a disgustingly salty appetizer. Our main course came 3 hours after we placed our order!!! …Then it was not even edible. Will not return.

C
Caleb Squires

This place is horrible. $250 for unseasoned food and tiny portions. Problems with our food were brushed off by our waitress. Staff made no effort to make it right. Manager was too busy taking videos of people to realize everything was going to shit. The whole staff was unprepared and under qualified to even be attempting the setup they prepared for Valentine’s Day. Spent $250 for us to leave hungry. Epic failure.

G
Gerard Spice

Had Valentine's Day dinner here... And it was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Pros: got seated quickly and out of the 10 courses between the two of us 1.5 were good. It makes me want to boost up the stars on some of my past reviews knowing how bad things can actually be. Cons: where to begin - the kitchen was a dumpster fire, servers kept coming out with dishes no one ordered or they had already received (at one point the lady next to us said "I can only eat so many eggs" after being offered the same deviled eggs course for a third time), courses came out very slow (there was an over an hour between two of the courses and we were there 2:30 hrs total), the second course seemed to be missing or delayed until asked for at all of the tables around us, the amuse-bouche was ridiculously salty conversely most of the other dishes lacked flavor but hopefully this was the amuse-bouche's fault and not the other dishes actually lacking flavor, a couple of staff members were just standing around while others seemed to be overwhelmed (our waitress bless her heart being on the receiving end of criticism of a bad kitchen) which strikes me as odd considering how poorly the night was going for so many you'd think it would have stirred an all hands on deck situation regardless of normal position and duties. Anyways I will not be coming back. It was Valentine's Day with an expensive preset menu, the damage is done. I hope changes are made and the restaurant recovers but that's a hard memory to erase.

Ronit Erlitzki

We have been waiting a long time to finally find time to eat at VSB. While the ambiance was pleasant, and our server was kind and attentive, the food was a huge disappointment. We ordered GF NY Strip and one of the Wagyu options. It was less than OK - too cold, too rare, and with big chunks of fat. Between the two, the GF option was better. The "bread service" included tasty honey butter and some fruit spread but the "breads" included a tiny piece of "corn bread" which was burnt and as hard as a cookie, and 3 small, dry, and dense biscuit. Even if it was a good dish, for dinner we expect fresh warm bread with savory spreads. Very disappointing. The fries were good and the roasted carrots were excellent. Over all - a disappointing experience, and sadly, we will not return. and yes... not mentioning the price.
