Love this restaurant! Food is always great. It’s clean and the service is always excellent. We love coming about once a month to have a nice dinner.
My husband and I came in here today for the 2nd time and it was absolutely wonderful the drinks are made perfectly and the food was excellent so much flavor we ordered a appetizer the lamb lollipops so much flavor and so tender then we ordered the New York garlic steak and the braised ribs and the seafood pasta everything was delicious and the employees are wonderful our server today was Isabella R and she did amazing customer service so friendly we loved her she made my mother in laws birthday so pleasant and nice and then surprised her with a birthday ice cream we appreciated that and the time before we had a pretty blonde woman wait on us I forgot her name I’m sorry but but she was so wonderful as well we def will be back here soon.
Service is great, drinks a little pricey, I eat lunch there almost every day, so I must like the food. It's like "cheers." Everyone one wants to go there
Sabrina took great care of us!! Being our first time, we had a lot of questions, order modifications…to which she handled with grace!! Service was impeccable!!!! #WildfireModesto #buzzybooth
We have been here four times. All four times the food was delicious. The service was excellent. Most importantly for us they are very careful with food, allergies, and have delicious gluten-free options. They also have fantastic craft brews and delicious mixed cosmos.
Food is always good and cocktails are stiff! Overall, always a great time and great atmosphere.
Very friendly service but more importantly great pasta dishes. Our favorite is the Harissa Spiced Shrimp Penne.
The staff was super kind and always was available and brought me all my food hot and fresh. Easily recommend this restaurant if you want delicious food. Great stuff.
We drove from Salinas to Modesto to visit a car dealership where we had purchased a vehicle from before. We wanted to eat before we left the city but didn’t know where to go. I ended up choosing this place because I wanted to taste their rack of lamb. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint! They were the best I’ve ever had, ever! Their drunken mussels were also a hit. If like rack of lamb this is the place to visit. We’ve drove here 2 hours two other times just to eat.
Been wanting to come to Wildfire for a long time since seeing it pop up on Briggsmore. Had a really enjoyable time with my mom. Food was supreme and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was very modern and relaxing. I ordered the Bahn Mi and Chicken Piccata. Both were super delicious and fresh. Will be going back hopefully in the near future!
The food was excellent! They have a brunch menu!! Forgot to get pics. Darn. Ordered Melted Mushroom Brie, WFPH Pancake breakfast with chorizo, and WFPH benedict with potatoes. Everything tasted wonderful. The melted Brie was my favorite!! Pancakes had crispy edge!! Yum!! The chorizo was spicy but not overpowering. Benedict was delicious and comforting. Karina, our mixologist and server, was knowledge, personable, and attentive. Gincident and cucumber cooler cocktails were refreshing and done right!! We enjoyed ourselves and will be back.
This place is a gem. Really great food and atmosphere. The Halibut was amazing. Thai Curry Mussels were also very good.
Nice atmosphere. Delicious food. I love the selfie photo booth. Had a really nice time. Pretzels too die for!
I walked in late Friday evening, with a girlfriend of mine, no reservation, and I'm at the risk of sounding pessimistic in saying that I was half-expecting the food to taste like the usual mass-produced, ‘corporate distributor’ type of fare. Instead, I was so pleasantly surprised. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and had that genuine, made-with-care taste you just don’t find in chain-style cooking. We had dill pickle pizza... Don't judge me just order it and their truffle mac. Yum. AND GET OUT with that brown butter cake. I almost took our server's devilish offer to wrap one up for me to bring home "for my husband". Let's be honest... That beauty woulda never left the parking lot. And I would be a total liar if I tried to convince you otherwise. And the service... *chef's kiss* A total standout.
Their food can be a little pricey, but generous proportions and delicious. We often find a salad and appetizer are more than a meal.
The wait staff was on point. She was attentive and struck up friendly conversation. She also suggested we try they're Scallops. WOW! Easily the best we've had, and we try them everywhere. We'll definitely be returning even though it's a bit of a drive. We'll worth it.
What a great experience. We had our night out and decided to give it a go. We ordered the Shrimp and Crab cakes as an appetizer. They were good, more like a ball than a cake, still cooked perfectly. Dinner was the Chicken Picatta and the Rib Tips. Both were excellent, the Picatta was the better of the two though. Desert was the flourless chocolate cake. Was delectable, way above what we were expecting. Our sever was great too, Carlie D, Thank you.
First time and can not wait to come back for a date night!! Spent my birthday here and the food is delish and artistic. Also, our server was attentive and very sweet! Also, I believe the owner is there interacting with the customers and greeting everyone that comes through the door. I love the setting dim and discreet. Thank you so much again for my special birthday tiramisu treat. Keep up the awesome work chef, servers, and owner!
I recently dined at Wildfire Public House and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Now, onto the food – where do I even begin? Let's start with the wagyu burger; it was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, with each bite bursting with deliciousness. The ribeye was simply divine, cooked exactly to our liking and melting in our mouths with each savory bite. The pasta was a delightful combination of perfectly cooked pasta and a rich, creamy sauce that left us wanting more. And let's not forget about the butter cake – it was the perfect ending to our meal, with its crisp outer layer, the buttery goodness left us in dessert heaven. Overall, Wildfire Public House exceeded all expectations with its top-notch quality food and impeccable service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
I e been a long time customer participating in ALL THINGS WILDFIRE! The ease at which they are able to provide with expertise your food and drink needs is stellar. It proves that they are TOP IN CLASS as a restaurant! Looking forward to sitting in my regular stoop and giving Mike, John, Kristin, Dawn and Carli my next drink order CHEERS GANG!
I've been here a few times now and the food has been amazing. I recommend ordering a ton of appetizers and eating family style. The scallops are particularly delicious and cooked to perfection every time.
My boyfriend, sister, and I just tried this place last night for the first time, and it was amazing! We were a little skeptical because we’ve read some good and some bad reviews. But it was really great. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the food came out fast! We tried the asparagus cigars and the crab cakes, which were both amazing. Then my boyfriend had the New York garlic steak, he loved it. My sister had the penne shrimp pasta, and I had the Mongolian Pizza. We also shared the fried cheesecake, which was not only delicious but beautiful, and the brown butter cake with a berry compote, which was my favorite. Needless to say we were full and happy, and took lots of food home.
Well at first I'm not going to lie I was not impressed but came back after speaking to the owner Michael Yokans and had the manager Kathy and I must say I was beyond The service this I was beyond impeccable for me and my wife We had first bruschetta bread with their house butter which was great and I had a eggnog milky drink which was to die for and I still can't believe how amazing it is Then we had the asparagus cigars which my wife loved it was to die for and for me to say that because I don't like vegetables at all that means a lot then for our dinner I had the flaming ribeye which was not only amazing and impeccable and taste but it was just like butter it was savory so tasty that you wouldn't believe my wife had the ribeye which was so flavorful and savory with the vegetables and for her birthday we had a chocolate doge cake which was to die for I plan on having date night in my business meeting everything was so impeccable I would like to take the time to thank Michael and Kathy this was truly exceptional service and will becoming back
Great food and excellent service! We loved the booth super comfortable and cozy, made the experience even better. Definitely coming back.
We love this place! From date nights to family celebrations, it’s always our first choice. The food never disappoints, the service is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere makes every visit special.
Food was amazing easily my Fav place hands down now! The Rack of lamb was on point! 5/5. The Truffle brie was amazing I literally could have ate the brie straight out the plate!
The food was great had the chicken with the lemon sauce. Cant remeber exact name. Pinacolda berry drink and hot cheeto fries pretzel and so much more. Thanks for being here. Ill def be back. Also the atmosphere was great, dreas up a lottle and come enjoy a bite to each 💜#WildfireModesto #buzzybooth
Came here with my wife for her birthday along with her family. The balsamic lamb and the New York strip were amazing! Would definitely come back here again.
This is a really nice place to enjoy a good meal, and they have the most gluten-free substitutions available, definitely a bonus, if you're gluten-free you know the struggle of finding places that offer a lot of options. Next time, I'll try their gluten-free pizza, looking forward to it. Excellent customer service!
This place was outstandingly delicious. I am very picky with my food at restaurants, but this place blew my mind. I ordered the New York Steak comes with mash and Asparagus 😋 very good I also got appetizers Asparagus cigars and the Mac and Cheese so very good and flavorful. I recommend 👌
Tonight was our first time trying out WFPH. Great music in the lounge area every Monday. Great beer list. Even carrying my personal favorite, Mangocart! I opted for a yummy guava specialty drink, which was like being back in Costa Rica. So many items on the appetizers I wanted to try, but we went straight to dinner. I had a hard time deciding what to order for dinner. I ended up with vegetable pasta and added on crispy chicken. It was soooo good! Best crust on a chicken I've had. My husband had the NY steak and was very happy. Cooked to his liking, on point! Our waitress was so sweet and brought a special dessert for our anniversary. I got super excited when I saw Tiramisu. I knew we had to bring some home. Can't wait to go back to try all the appetizers!
We have been frequenting this establishment for 13 years, even before it was Wildfire. This is a 5 star restaurant. Great vibes, never a drastic wait, the friendliest staff in town. Michael is the man.
we love wildfire! we went there earlier this month for my 21st birthday and just went back tonight for a holiday family dinner! my grandma really loved being able to take a selfie when we left - random, unique, but so worth it to snag a picture! #WildfireModesto #buzzybooth
Food and drinks are great here, great for an evening of drinks or to dine with the family, I love the lighting not too dark but not too bright that you can see every pore on peoples faces. Chicken piccata is amazing, also drunken mussels are a must try, they also have good options for children. Our server Gaby was amazing, I definitely recommend this place !
Went to Wildfire on Memorial Day for a quick lunch with my mates and it was a swell time. The interior of the restaurant is clean and pleasant, the service was pleasant and attentive, and the food was really good. Everyone enjoyed their items, from the pasta, to the pizzas, and the complimentary pretzel. The beer was especially good, I really enjoyed the Cali Creamin Vanilla cream ale. I’d come back here again next time I’m in the area
Our sever was really nice. The food was a 10/10 drinks were also amazingIf you're looking for a spot that nails both the bar and the kitchen, this is it. I started the night with their Raspberry Lemon Drops, and they were absolutely bomb perfectly tart, refreshing, and clearly made. For the main course, I went with the Spicy Shrimp Pasta. It arrived at the table steaming hot and fresh, with the shrimp cooked to a perfect snap. The spice level had a great kick that was immediately balanced out by those crisp lemon drop, a pairing I’d highly recommend to anyone. What really tied the whole experience together was the all-around great service. The staff was attentive and fast, making sure the 'hot and fresh' food actually stayed that way from the kitchen to the table. I'll definitely be back for another round! #WildfireModesto #buzzybooth
I drove over 30 minutes for the asparagus cigars and the Thai curry mussels. This is my fourth time here and I love it!! I recommend it to everyone!! And the photobooth at the end makes it all a 10/10! 😊 #WildfireModesto #buzzybooth
Saw this place on IG and went for lunch on my birthday to try it out. The food is pricey but I’m aware everything has gone up so it is what it is. (Over $100 for 2 people no alcohol). Reagan was our server and delivered sensational service and made my first experience incredible. Great food, clean atmosphere and top tier service from her. She was super informative, friendly, and attentive. I don’t live in the area but it will be worth the drive to visit again. Thank you Reagan! :)
As a family of 5, this is one of our go-to places to have a nice family time with a delicious dinner. We have been coming here for about 2 years and so far we haven't had a bad experience. Customer service is great and the food is always delicious. We also like the fact that you can find simple (yet flavorful) and affordable food and also some dishes that are a bit more expensive but great for special occasions. But from appetizers, to burgers and pizzas, to steak and lamb chops, we haven't been disappointed. #WildfireModesto #buzzybooth
It’s Friday night and you are looking for a place where the food is phenomenal, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere will make you feel like you’ve walked into “Cheers” where everybody knows your name! WildFire Public House is THE place to be! Don’t be fooled by the “small town” of Modesto…this place rivals the 5 star restaurants in the Bay Area! Best part…it’s in my backyard! If you are anywhere within a 50 minute drive, you MUST make it in to try one of the dozens of signature dishes that will make you wish you could come every night!
Went here on a date with my husband. Originally, I did not like my order. The waiter we had very kindly took back what I got (this detail is very important, as it's the only time I've ever been bold enough to because I usually am quite shy). I was so glad I did because I ended up replacing it with the fish of the day which was swordfish. My God!!! I've never had it before and I will always remember it. It's one of the best things I've ever gotten in -any- restaurant. Maybe it's heavy metal poisoning, but WHEW! That's good stuff. 🤠
Honestly, I never come here and I dont even know why I don't, because every time I come here they never disappoint. From the the short braised rib plate, to the spicy chicken sandwich, to the brown cake and vanilla ice cream! Everything was phenomenal. I need to come here more often! Gaby was our waitress and she was very informative about plates and served us with a great smile! Thanks again for great service and food! Love The FGNT Family IG @freedom_gunsntrucks 🤙🙏🇺🇲 #WildfireModesto #buzzybooth
I had heard about Wildfire and driven by it a lot but never inquired or stopped. Someone suggested it to me so I looked at the menu online and was surprised and the offerings. I’ve eaten here twice now, the first time in January 2025 then again for a birthday about a month or so later. The service was really good, and the interior seating is nice. It’s very large inside and there are different areas, including a bar. They have TVs with various sports playing if that’s your thing. They have a diverse menu with lots of options. I really like lamb so I had to try that and it was really good. The desserts are phenomenal. Everything I ordered was really good (see the photos). Everything is also very reasonably priced. I have told several people at work about this place and I highly recommend it.
What a beautiful restaurant on the inside. Very clean and lots of seating because the restaurant is huge on the inside. There was a wonderful drink menu to choose from. Also a large variety of entrées and appetizers. Some of the best wait staff I have seen and experienced in a while. Let’s start off with the flaming margarita that was very delightful and unexpected. Next was the asparagus spears they came out almost 3 minutes after we put the order in . I could not believe how fast pot fresh that these came directly out of the kitchen. Boy you’re in for a treat. They were quite tasty. Next was the chicken Kabasa that had a very nice delicate lemon of buttery sauce that was on top of a bed mashed potatoes laid out with some very nicely steamed broccoli. The crème brûlée was so creamy with the perfect glaze on the top: The meal was completely satisfying and was not heavy. I walked away full, and also walked away feeling like I ate a healthier meal. There was a live singer, who was very good. It was just a little loud for my personal preference but we will ask to be sat in a booth in the back next time. I highly encourage you to come out and have an amazing meal with great service
This time, the food was really Good! I enjoyed our Bhan Mi sandwich sorry not pictured and the truffle mac n cheese with garlic bacon and asparagus. I also tried the cucumber cooler, very good just a little too sweet for me. The asparagus was a pleasant surprise. Waitress was very responsive.
Bartender was super friendly and I cant wait to try their Bloody Mary Drink as I had their "Bloody Mary Prawns." They use the same mix on their prawns as their drink so I'm looking forward to that. I also had their basic cheeseburger and fries while my son had the pepperoni pizza which he almost demolished which means it was good! I had a bite its pretty amazing. wasn't disappointed at all. A little pricey for my taste but it felt worth what I paid. I'm def going back when life gets back to normal to see if the menu is different then the one I had.. I might have had the Covid_19 temp menu. If I have the same experience when I go back I'll give it five stars.
Wonderful food every time I've been here, whether you're getting a burger or a rack of lamb, it's all super delicious. Most recently I had the lamb, pictured here. The lamb was great. The 3 asparagus were still pretty raw and had the tough lower ends on them still. For $45 you would hope the sides to be a little better and more of them
We’ve not eaten dinner , but have had lunch a handful of time each of them enjoyable. Dinner exceeded our expectations! Service was not at the same caliber as the food. I do like the place and would recommend it highly
First things first...parking sucks...This place had a nice atmosphere. I tried some mac and cheese (I think there was bacon in there), the chicken picatta, and garlicky green beans. It was very good. There cocktails were tasty as well. I will be going back to check out the outdoor seating next time. Also, google says you're looking at 20 to $30 per person, when actuality you're looking at around 50-$80 when you add an appetizer and a drink or two.
The food’s taste was average. I didn’t think it was worth what it costs. This probably wouldn’t be the number one spot I would recommend. Granted, I would be open to try a different dish if I visit it again. Their service is great, so is the atmosphere! We were seated rather quickly, but did waited a little while for our food to come out, despite the restaurant not being too busy.
Steaks are good. Service is unpredictable, it's good once they realize you've been seated for a while. The menu gets stagnant after a while as it is short and repetitive. The atmosphere makes it look better than it really is. A- for a date night. C+ if you're a foodie.
The service was pretty spot on, and the food was delicious. They have a variety of foods to choose from, all of which (from the ones I tried) were delicious. I ordered two meals just to try. I do intend on returning to try some other items. Very classy inside with the decor, and an awesome date night spot. They are a little on the pricey side, but well worth it.
Wildfire Restaurant offers really good food with solid flavor and great portions. The environment is adequate—comfortable enough for a casual meal and relaxed conversation. Overall, it’s a good spot if you’re looking for tasty dishes and a simple, pleasant dining experience.
The atmosphere is always great at this place. The food was done on time. The wait staff was very friendly. The taco meat was well seasoned and cooked properly, the salsa had good flavor, and the tortillas were little greasier than I would have liked or expected. Not that I'm afraid of a greasy tortilla but this was a bit much.
The only reason I gave 4 to 5 stars is because for two months, they didn’t have my favorite wine, which was dark horse Chardonnay and I had to go to another venue to have lunch which took me away from this atmosphere which I love wildfire, the service the personal they know your order before you sit down they give you the attention that you need. The food is fabulous just enough, but yet it fills you up. The restaurant is very clean and sometimes you see the owner comes out and greet you and I love it.
The food was pretty tasty, I had the Harrisa Penne that comes with shrimp 🍤 and added chicken 🐔. My wife had the mushroom risotto and didn't care for it. While my dish was tasty I expected a bit more from this place which is why I'm not giving 5 star. This was my first time in and so these are the only dishes we tried. I would try some other dishes if I'm back in the area.
A very nice restaurant, especially for Modesto. Kind of an industrial feel but still cozy and somewhat dark for a romantic evening. I only had an overpriced espresso martini and didn't eat. The menu selection was good though and plates out of the kitchen looked attractive. Expensive tho - $20 or $25 for a burger and $17 for a single pretzel. I wish I could say more positive things about the service - when they engaged they were very cordial and professional but getting their attention (when we were 2 of 5 people at the circular bar) was more challenging than we liked. We discussed leaving three times before we finally got our drinks about 30min after arriving. All around, it seems like a nice place, if you're patient and have money to burn. #WildfireModesto #buzzybooth
This place was alright. I felt like the environment was pretty monotone and lacked personality. There was literally nothing hanging on the walls... aside from that the food was OK. We the asparagus cigars and they were pretty good and the pretzel appetizer was alright to. I had the Bacon and Pickle pizza and it was edible lol. I don't think I'd ever come back to this place again but give it a try and have your own experience.
Atmosphere and service was great. Our server was really nice and attentive however the food flavor was was a miss. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great for the price. Had the ribeye and it was swimming is sauce but the actual stake wasn’t seasoned very well. The best part of the meal was the vegetables.
Pizza was not as good as expected definitely 3/5 Velvety cheese sauce for giant pretzel also not very good. Pretzel was tasty tho but was also $18
Went in hungry and that usually makes the food taste better but was disappointed with all of our dishes. I mean, it's ok at best. But wouldn't go back.
Looking for a dining experience that will ignite your taste buds? Look no further than Wildfire Public House in Modesto! This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who craves hearty, flavorful dishes that are sure to satisfy. My family and I recently visited Wildfire Public House, and we were blown away by the incredible food and atmosphere. We started off our meal with the giant soft pretzel, which came with a delectable cheese sauce that was the perfect accompaniment. The Thai chili wings were also a standout, with just the right amount of spice to make our mouths water. For our main courses, we ordered the NY steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus, which was cooked to perfection and had an amazing flavor. I personally opted for the rack of lamb, which was incredibly juicy and tender, and paired beautifully with the asparagus and red potatoes. My son couldn't resist the WFPH burger, which he added bacon to, and it did not disappoint. The fries were also perfectly crispy and seasoned. Last but certainly not least, my daughter enjoyed the chicken strips and fruit. The chicken strips were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the fruit provided a refreshing balance to the savory flavors of the rest of our meal. Overall, we had an amazing experience at Wildfire Public House. The food was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in Modesto!
Food is pretty good. The restaurant is very pretty. The server is nice. The food came out quick. Very crowded busy place. The shrimp is far too spicy, I couldn’t eat it. The desert options are good. The employee that goes around cleaning the divider glass is rude. He sprayed me with the cleaner and never even apologized.
I've been here several times, and food was always just ok. Love the margaritas they light on fire its a very cool experience, and tasty drinks. The truffle mac and cheese was a let down, not very much flavor, way too much parsley, with thick and hard asparagus stocks. The paco tacos were good but get soggy very quickly and most of the filet tips are fatty. The non alcohol beverages are disappointing, only pepsi products selection. The staff is friendly and helpful, they just dont check in on tables often. The atmosphere is very nice! Never too long of a wait time, even on weekends. Came for lunch on a weekday and there was plenty of seating. Very spacious indoor dining area. On the corner of two main roads, good location. Would recommend at least once while in Modesto!
My husband and I decided to try this place out on Christmas Eve. The wait was going to be a little over 30 minutes (understandably) so we decided to sit at the bar since it was full service. While sitting at the bar, my husband and I saw some waitress with dark hair and glasses walk up to get some drinks that were just made by the bartender, to take to a table. This waitress grabs a straw, sticks it in the customers drink, tastes the drink then throws the straw away, replacing it with a clean one..then takes the drink to the table to serve to the customer. Meanwhile giggling and having a great time. This is completely tacky and unacceptable, especially at a restaurant like this. I was honestly half expecting her to come around the corner with a fork in someone's plate trying their food before serving it to them next. SMH. I just wanted to leave after that. I'm not sure if this is a common thing around there, and I probably won't go back to find out.
Pricey American food with average taste. Presentation is pretty decent. The truffle gnocchi and mac were a little bland. Short rib was tough, probably needed to be braised a little longer. Pretzel was actually good, along with the cheese sauce. Loud busy atmosphere. They have a sit down bar and many TVs to watch sports.
The atmosphere of this location is beautiful, though once seated, it felt comparable to being in an Applebee's. We also felt like the waiter kept forgetting about us, leading to lapses in service. I ordered the sushi tower, which was delicious; all the ingredients paired really well together. The seafood pasta was also delicious, however, the sauce became unbearably salty toward the end. Perhaps there were too many capers, but it was still good overall. I also ordered the espresso martini. After one sip, it literally tasted like watered-down vodka chocolate milk. Thankfully, I was able to send it back and got a bourbon jet, and that was delightful. Dessert was just okay. I got the red velvet cake, and it was extremely dry, but the waiter did a wonderful job writing "Happy Birthday" on the plate. Prices on certain items were reasonable, but some were insane—for example, the $16 watery espresso martini is egregious. While the food was good, I probably would not go back and would instead venture into other restaurants.
So I read the response from the restaurant to other people that have reviews on here and they state that the reason their prices are so high is due to quality ingredients that they use. We ordered three beers and an order of chicken wings which for those who don't know comes in the order of eight wings. The wings were $18 and each beer is $9.50. our bill came out to $50.62 + $4.12 in tax for three beers and a order of eight chicken wings. The chicken wings were really good but the "quality ingredients" being used in the chicken wings and the beer.... I'm not sure if it is worth the price!
Its a nice place but the food misses flavors, well not all the food my son's salmon was ok flavors, but the ingredients that where added on it tasted good, but it wasn't something I wouldn't order since I've tried it, it was like sun dried tomatoes and capers, my wife enjoyed the salad was beet salad but the the veggie sandwich she said was not good, the mushrooms that where in it where wet and rubbery, myself and another person had Chicken Alfredo and it was not what I expected, wanted creamy galic flavored sauce, we went for relatives birthday, my wife and i hadn't been there in like 2 years because of flavors in food the only thing we enjoy that time was the mussels. And we only a few blocks away. But what do we know its not like we are chefs. Oh wait we are CHEFS lol
A vegetarian pasta entree for around twenty dollars came with just a pinch of cheese (literally) and at most, a cup and a half of flavorless pasta and sauce. Nothing else. Plus, despite the menu's description of different vegetables and a "Gouda sauce" the dish only contained pasta, tomato, red pepper and a pinch of cheese.
Place is very expensive and overrated on my opinion, but also could very well just not be my style of restaurant. They offer a $100 gift card with a free $20, but you cannot use it the same date of purchase. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich which was a regular chicken sandwich and no spice at all. We made reservations for dinner and had to wait a bit longer so keep that in mind.
I paid 20.00 for 2 6-8 oz bowls of Campbell's Chicken Gumbo soup and gave me no spoons in my to go order. Sweet potato fries were good but better if they included sauce. Not impressed.
Cassandra was AWESOME! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! First I must say I'm very hard to please since I love cooking & service is very important to me when I'm paying a high dollar not to prepare my own food... I wish I had my phone to take pictures. I love beer sauced pretzels. Hands down, BEST pretzel ever. The Brie appetizer was wonderful & my husband said his salmon was the best he had had in a long time. I gave her the choice to surprise me with my dish based on what I was craving and she hit it out of the park. I believe it was the Spicy shrimp pasta but the proper name i would need to look at the receipt. The bar tender, oh crap I can't remember her name! BUT SHE made the Addios drink the BEST I've ever had. Thank you girl! I love this place for sure if Cassandra is working. Ask for her. Trust her! She deserves 30% or more tip!!! Darn it. My husband took the pictures of the food, but trust me! Remember I am hard to please.
I went to this restaurant with a small group during the summer. I'm new to the area and hoped to find a restaurant I could enjoy for future outings. Instead I found pathetic food, though the waitress was nice. I ordered the exact same menu item as another in the party. The amount of food I received was noticeably less, though neither of us were given more than what you'd expect in a side serving. The high menu price wouldn't have bothered me at all if the food had been adequate, or at least tasty, instead of meager and mediocre. (The quality reminded me of a mass produced elementary school lunch. A few shreds of waxy tasteless cheese did not improve it.) I didn't need to walk away stuffed, and don't eat huge meals at home, but I didn't expect to walk away hungry and wondering what school cafeteria they got it from. The others in our group ordered items in the same price range and received an appropriate amount of food for a meal, but didn't seem enthusiastic about it. I hate to give such a bad review. But the food doesn't deserve anything more.
My husband took me for a Birthday Celebration, with a tab of over 200$ I would expect a delicious meal. It was the worst food I have ever tasted! The so called filet mignon had no flavor, it was dry & rough! The risotto was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted in a restaurant. My husband tried the rack of lamb, he only ate 1 piece. I would never recommend this place to anyone, save your money you can get a better steak at Sizzler!! Such a waste of money, my dog enjoyed the meal!!
