This location is better than some other Popeyes around. My husband and I go out of our way to drive to this location rather than the Popeyes down the street. Chicken is always freshly made and hot.

Great service here and the chicken was freshly delicious. Can never go wrong with Popeyes chicken. Good team very respectful and kind here. The young girl with very short hair was good worker and the Asian manager was also respectful 👍 they apologized for the waiting time but I understand they were super busy.

Its Popeyes, need I say more about the chicken sandwich? IYKYK And the classic red beans and rice!? Their seasonal lemonade is very sweet (if you like very sweet items, get the mango one.) This location's staff has a good team, who was very helpful in answering questions for returning and new customers.

Customer service drive thru is truly awesome! Food is absolutely tasty!! The mac n cheese with the nuggets are sooo yummy together! Everything is absolutely delicious and they always make sure what you ordered is in the bag before giving it to you! I can see the excellent customer service and excellent quality of service to their customers! There is a line sometimes or many times but it is well worth the wait and the price is perfect!

I've never craved Popeyes until I had THIS location, the food is consistent. Today specifically I really wanna highlight Amanda. I've encountered her before and she was nothing but kind, but today she went above and beyond for me to get my order, and I REALLY appreciate it. I went today with my partner around 6:00 (PM) today. I haven’t had Popeyes since they came out with the Chicken Sandwich. I didn’t get the craze, but my partner really loves their chicken. It was on the smaller side, but it felt homey and cozy. The music they had on the TV was relaxing, and I ordered a 2 pieces combo. The chicken was alright. The red beans were good. But my partner loved their food. They left not even the bones 🤣. We stayed for around 2 hours and it was a pleasant experience. The cashier who helped us was patient because I didn’t know what I wanted at all.! I would come back and I recommend this place if you don’t mind a wait and get quality food in return. (In terms of fast food.)

The fried chicken tasted ok. I like the mashed potatoes. In the past, when ordering through drive-thru, there was always one piece chicken nuggets missing. That's why we have not been here for years. This time we bought it in-store. A few chicken nuggets were very small, so the clerk gave an extra piece.

I just use the drive thru but love the shrimp tackle box good price right now. love the biscuits. and the people in the drive thru are always nice

NOW THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS great even tho I went in a busy day they were patient, efficient, and made sure my order was correct. Popeyes has great chicken. Seasoned perfectly. Pieces are juicy and sizable compared to KFC. Love side dishes like red beans and rice and cajun fries. But this place is insanely expensive for what you get and prevents me from eating there more often.

We had to try the chicken sandwich that everyone is so excited about. I had the spicy one and thought it was very good. I am not one to eat fried foods very often but it was good. I would recommend it to those that like it.

This was my first visit. Their chicken and biscuits we're good. But I was surprised that they did not offer any kind of chicken sandwich. Also, you have only two choices for soda. In the future when these facts are inline with what I would like to eat, I will return.

We got the food via the drive-thru, so I can't vouch for the "atmosphere" inside, but the drive-thru was decent. We got the shrimp & chicken tenders/strips combo dinners. Although the pieces of shrimp were a bit smaller than I had expected, they were cooked just right and were hot and tasted good. The chicken pieces also seemed to have been cut thinner than tenders would normally be but they too were hot, cooked right, and had good flavor. I was the only one who got the mashed potato (w/Cajun gravy) side, the others got french fries, we all enjoyed what we ordered. The biscuits were good too.

If you're coming for the new chicken sandwich at peak times be forewarned, they're cooking and holding well in advance and the quality just isn't there. Also, use the drive thru at your own risk, the wait times are in-n-out worthy.

I really like Popeye's BUT this one is $.50 more expensive than the East Pasadena one. The classic chicken sandwich is 3.99 in the pasadena one and 4.49 here. Also, every time I go in the store, the cashier is wearing same gloves when touching cash and packing the food. Just take off the gloves and wash or sanitize your hands. I like them though cause they deal with all this craziness. Keep the good job.

I purchased green beans and rice. I love their food but it's disappointing when the cups are not filled all the way. Our order came with one breast of chicken , why can't they give two I disappointedly ordered it on the side.

I ordered the $10 meal that has 6 tenders, 2 sides, and 2 biscuits. We also ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and the classic chicken sandwich with no pickles. As for a drink I ordered a large Dr. Pepper that was a disappointment. It tasted like a seltzer water. The tenders were very skinny and flat. The mashes mashed potatoes were watered down and had no flavor. Our second side we decided to get the cajun fries that weren't bad. The tenders weren't good but the sandwiches were delicious.

Honestly, I don’t know what happened to the Popeyes chicken in Monrovia, but it’s definitely not the same so we started going to the Popeyes and PASADENA chicken crunchy when you get spicy it really got that kick We just so happened to stop at this Popeyes in Monrovia because we was jumping on the freeway to go east and my husband was like Something isn’t right about this chicken. The skin feels kind of soft even though it’s freshly made so he ate it anyway after he complained he ended up sick for four days two out of the four days, he had a doctors appointment to check his blood, his doctor called him and said that they found an infection in his blood So they wanted him to come in this is like eight days later maybe two weeks I’m not sure I can’t remember but they wanted to check his blood again at this time. He’s feeling better and they check his blood and he Didn’t have the infection anymore so the only thing he could think of it had to been the chicken from Popeyes Popeyes in Monrovia so y’all be careful and if it don’t seem right trust me don’t eat it .

Popeyes used to be fantastic. Now not so much. I like real chicken pieces over tender. They were so greasy! That's just poor frying technique. The tenders seem to be better done.

Chicken is good, but I don't do hot/spicy. So twice I had to come back with my mouth on fire and my stomach bubbling. The good thing is they replaced my order and the spicy order I was able to bless a homeless person on the way home.

Last few times that I have purchased food here it has been disappointing. The last time we went I ordered a chicken sandwich and there was more mayonnaise than chicken. I had to scrape off so much that it grossed me out and I couldn’t enjoy my sandwich. The time before that I ordered the blackened pepper chicken sandwich and I was given a spicy one. The 2 piece chicken meal was cold. The chicken was dry and hard as a rock. The biscuits were dry and tasteless. The coleslaw taste was very bland. The drive thru person was nice.

The only item you should be getting is the chicken sandwich, everything else tastes bad and although the staff are nice the customer service could do better, they forgot my straw and sauce. My chicken was stuck together and tasted decent, their cajun fries were dry and greasy, mashed potatoes and gravy did not fit to my taste and overall could have done a better job

I presented the cashier with a completed receipt for two free pieces of chicken & biscuit with the purchase of a large drink. She told me they had new registers & she didn't know how to complete the order. I told her I had waited in line to place the order & needed to get the food before leaving. She then placed the order & I received it only after telling her I had to leave for a doctor's appointment. She (Ruby) apparently needs to be either further trained or told by management not to offer such excuses when taking orders from the public.

My orders here are up and down. Today, they only gave me two pieces of a five piece. Fine, I went back and they replaced. First they had to inspect my receipt, I walked back to the car cause I left and then they kept it! Then I asked for a jalapeño and they charged me for it. Do better. The employees seemed like the food was theirs! It’s ok to comp a jalapeño for bad service!!

After spending 💰 $50 on basically 2 meals they forgot 1/2 the meal when I went through the drive through. I called and asked them to credit my card and they said no I had to be there. You know you didn't give me my food and now I have to go all the way back for my money. To top it all off the chicken was tiny and dry. Not 🚫 going back.

This has happened to me several times here, I was the only customer in the restaurant and the cashier was bagging my food. Checking off items from the receipt, but when I got home an item was missing. I asked for 3 piece tenders with fries, but they forgot the tenders. Just gave me the fries. When I checked and counted bags I had the correct amount of bags just not the correct items. Be careful and always check your bags even when they are not busy. Had to drive back to get 3 tenders.

I truly wasn't happy with my visit, hopefully they can get it rite next time. They had only two fountain drinks working and they mixed up the order.The chicken pieces were super small, burnt or old. They gave us all regular and never spicy, and we ordered rice with beans that they never had. Biscuits were not golden fresh...Not the best day, they need to show more improvement.

This is one of the worst operated drive thru that you can have. Average 10 minutes for one customer served. Are you kidding me? Whoever own this Franchise is not going to make any money. There were 7 cars in the line when I arrived at the drive thru, after waiting for 30 minutes, I’m still 5th in line. Ridiculous! Fortunately I drive a high ground clearance SUV, jumped the curb and left. Told my daughter we could go to In and Out 3 more times instead of wasting another 30-40 minutes here.

Each time I've been here they never have any Mac and cheese, this time was my last. I ordered 4 chicken sandwiches and they would only allow me two sauce packets. I offered to pay more for the extra and they denied me. What's the point of eating chicken without the sauce!

I was expecting the same Quality serve in a box full, like I always order not long ago.... Since I order Large fries I wanted Ranch instead ketchup. The cashier' said I have to mention ahead because Ranch not free I have to pay for it... Many places even when U order something small they give u FREE ketchup, salt, peppeer, masterd,Ranch, BBQ sauce, straws, napkins, etc....

Great if you like cold hard stale chicken and fries. It's hit and miss with this place. Sometimes it's good and other times it's horrible. Never in the middle. I would not recommend going at night they fry their chicken and let it just sit there. In the afternoon it's hot and fresh.

By far the worse customer service ever. First time visiting this chain ever and definitely my last. Ordered a 12 piece family since I was in the area and caught traffic on my way home. 45 mins later I get home to realize I was given a 2 piece meal. I called to request credit to my account and was told they can't do that. To go back to have order corrected. Seriously? I believe in giving young people an opportunity to work but leaving a teenager in-charge as manager and all you hear is "I can't. I can't" at this point I wasn't so upset at the wrong meal but the inept customer service and unwillingness to assist customer. I wasn't asking for full refund and I made it clear. I said refund me the difference on what you gave me wrong in my meal. I even asked her if she could phone in an order at a Popeyes closer to me and she even said that was the closest to me and soon after I find out that there's three closer to me. After discussing this I asked her for another number wher I can call and she had the nerve to give me the wrong number. First time I ever hear of so much denial and lack of service recovery skills. Wish I wouldn't have ever tried this place.

When you’re in the drive through and you have a change of heart on your drink choice you should accept that and fix it. For 1 it cost you nothing no keep your customers happy. My wife had a change of heart on her drink so when we pulled up to the window she asked if he could “Please” change it to an “Arnold Palmer” and was quickly turned down by the employee which stated “No, your drink.. it’s already made” you have some nerve, “Made”? You poured a cup of soda! Attitude for days as if we are inconveniencing you. Here’s a tip maybe find a job in which you don’t have to provide customer service? We (the grandparents visiting from our of state, & babysitting our 4 grandchildren for 4 nights) showed up w/5 children. To eat dinner, on 2/27, around 7:45 pm. One of them, 9 years old, needed to use the restroom before we ate dinner. There was a sign on the window that said "restrooms for customer use". We asked where it was, & were then told they didn't have a working bathroom! Is that even legal? What do the employees do when they need a restroom?! So I walked across the parking lot with my grandchild to 4 other establishments, being told at each one that we couldn't use their bathrooms either. We finally found one to use. Then we did return to Popeyes to join the others. I found my husband scrolling through his cell phone, looking for his immunization card photo record (he'd already ordered food for 4 kids & himself). I found the photo of my Immunization card & showed it. I said that we are from out of state, my husband HAS been immunized &gotten the booster, can't you please believe me. No, she said, he needs to keep looking for it. We took the food to a table so we could start feeding the kids (it was 8:00 pm by now). He did finally find it, & when it was taken to the counter to show a different employee, he barely even glance at it!! There's no way he even knew if that was his Immunization card! I should've just shown mine again! It was all a very frustrating experience! We will NOT be returning to any Popeye's.

I will say this I’m very disappointed and probably will never step foot into a Popeyes location again. First off I’m going to say the drive thru only had 3 cars in it including mine and it still took over 30 minutes to get my food. Nextly when I got the order the employees working were very rude I’ve never been to Popeyes before so of course I’m gonna ask questions but the employees were rude and did not want to answer anything. I asked for a lot of butter and honey. Literally threw it into the car basically with the food. The drinks were completely watered down and gross. The food was literally thrown all over the bag. Our fries sat at the bottom of the back with the wrapper they are supposed to be in sitting on top of them. Why were they in it? Idk. Then I realized when they forgot a biscuit so I then had to go in and get it myself after leaving the drive thru. Our food was also cold and just gross. I will never step foot back into this place and I wish I could get a refund for the money I wasted there. Don’t waste your hard earned money at this place. Hopefully the owners see this review because for a first timer this was bad!

Ordered dinner for 3 adults through Uber Eats. Food arrived only to find one missing item and one incorrect item. Additionally, popcorn shrimp was a lot of breading and very little shrimp. Also, delivery order bags are not sealed like other restaurants. Tried to call the restaurant 3 times, but they didn't answer the phone. Won't be ordering here again.

Always running out of specific food, App indicates something not avaliable, but sometimes you don't find out till you get there. This is almost every time we order. ***Lowered my rating. CAREFUL USING THE APP. The app is junk. I went to order food and added $34 worth of food, and total popped up $52. It was adding almost 15 dollars more at check out. Went back, calculated it was 34 dollars, removed everything, and add it back to my bag. Same thing inflating the final price should be $39 or $41 dollars with tax but still showed $52. Asked my wife to complete it on her app same issue random $10+added to final price. This was for pick up, so there shouldn't be any fees. Wife sent an email, and they didn't do anything about it. Tried it a few weeks later same issue. Check you total before checking out.

I ordered the butterfly shrimp box and was assured that 3wasn't spicey, it burned my mouth. The coleslaw should have been thrown out yesterday. The chicken was too salty(I've never had this problem with Popeyes before.. the strawberry pie was old and it tasted it. The time on it was more than 2 1/2 hrs old. I don't live close to a Popeyes, I consider it a treat. They are going to open a Popeyes in my town. I just can't communicate how awful this food was.
