Chipotle

Good food. Server was fine. My only complaint is they weren’t accepting cash. They had all the ingredients I wanted. The proportion sizes here are smaller than other Chipotle’s, but their cost is just a little higher. So given the cost of most things in the area, you have to cut somewhere. Guess they decided to cut proportion size. The restaurant appeared clean. All trash cans were overflowing though. Overall it was good. I’d come back. I’d forego the soda though and just get complimentary water. The soda is $3.20 for a small.

Maybe due to too many visitors or shortage of staff, the environment is not the best. For example, the tables and chairs were not cleaned in time. We had to wipe it off by ourselves. Food-wise, it is just consistent with other Chipotle. Not bad.

Good food at a somewhat reasonable price. The taste is good and the quantity is huge, but if you add anything special (like guacamole), the price quickly becomes high than the value.

Our bowls were more mush than any other location. Hardly any meat. Not satisfying.

The portions are small, Is the guac was brown, tasted ok. If you put a little Limon or lime, it won't turn brown.

Seems kind of integral to the taco experience. Oh, and the cheese. Basically, they failed miserably. Possibly worse than just being f(&ked at the drive thru since I paid all the fees for delivery.

Didn't open the door or apologize for the delay, just Unlocked quietly from the inside and walked away. 5 minutes after standing in line, one of five employees said they'd be right with me. A few minutes later someone else told me they were out of everything. After asking to speak to the manager, she came out and apologized with a disingenuous tone. She gave me a bunch of excuses for why they'd opened late. This was the most expensive bowl I've ever had and it didn't even have the ingredients I really wanted. She didn't care if I took the company's survey or left a review. If you don't care about doing a good job, why are you the manager? Apparently Chipotle now thinks this is acceptable. No friendly service, no punctuality, happy to increase prices though.

This location has the TINIEST portion sizes and it costs more than other locations. They gave me a half scoop of chicken. I added basically every option they have and my bowl was still barely half full at the end. This happened to me previously at this location too but I thought it just happened to be that one employee. Orders Uber Eats from this chipotle. Both bowls we ordered were missing the rice and my steak bowl had 4 small pieces of steak. This is the worst chipotle I have experienced and really shorted out the order since we ordered online

Only gives 1 water cup per customer regardless of the fact that we were two people ordering two items on the same transaction.

On 12/26, we first visited the Chipotle location on Del Monte Center in Monterey, CA and had such a negative experience (left a review there, too) that we left to come to this location. When we arrived, there was a small line of about 10 patrons waiting to order. There was only one employee working the food line and register. She had to make every order and cash out customers. There were other employees working food prep and to-go orders, but the store was obviously understaffed. When we arrived at the ordering area, the girl told us they were out of all meat except Chicken, and several other ingredients. We asked why they wouldn't post a sign on the door or somewhere near the beginning of the line to say they were out of most of their ingredients. Instead our time was wasted waiting in line only to leave because everything we wanted to order wasn't available. This was the second terrible experience at Chipotle in Monterey. Whomever supervises this region needs to seriously review how these locations are managed.
