Thank you it was our first time eating at the California Pizza Kitchen and we were very pleased. The atmosphere, food and service was wonderful ❤️our waitress Evalyn was very helpful and we welcomed her suggestions. We had pizza and Jambalaya a refreshing drink of mint and cucumber 🥒! I was pleasantly surprised when she brought out olive oil dip with the 🥖 bread. We will definitely be back!

Very pleasant atmosphere. The pizza was great, our server was very nice and helpful. I tried half the Burnt Ends pizza and the California Club, they were both tasted amazing. Also tried half BBQ Chicken and half Pepperoni was also delicious but first started with the appetizer, which was the Spinach and artichoke dip with tortilla chips and for dessert, was the butter cake with ice cream and whipped cream, which was very good. Would definitely go back!!

The bread is soft with delicious dips. Lots of choices for appetizers. We settled with "healthy" avocado rolls and lettuce wrap, both delicious. We love pizza but do not want carb. That "the works" pizza with cauliflower crust was just perfect with generous toppings. There is that creative soup dish, two in one bowl. We filled in with tomato bisque and pea soup with barley. A wonderful eatery whether you want a bite while waiting for your EV charge up, or to reenergize for more shopping.

Our recent visit to California Pizza Kitchen in Monterey was a delightful experience for the entire family. The restaurant was bustling with activity, particularly with families enjoying their meals, which added to the lively atmosphere. Kids’ Choices: My children were thrilled with their pepperoni pizza and the five cheese plus fresh tomatoes pizza. They also enjoyed the burgers and chicken with spaghetti, each dish arriving hot and flavorful. My Dish: I opted for the salmon, which was cooked to perfection. The exterior had a perfect char, enhancing the natural flavors without overpowering them. The accompanying corn salad was refreshing and added a nice texture to the meal. Drinks: Our server brought us strawberry lemonade drinks, which were a hit with everyone, especially the kids. Service: Our server was exceptionally professional and friendly. He ensured we were well taken care of, bringing bread and two bowls of olive oil for dipping while we waited for our food. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We appreciated his excellent service and tipped him accordingly. Ambiance: The restaurant was quite busy, with a lot of families present, which created a warm and welcoming environment. During our meal, a busload of tourists arrived and were seated outside under the shade. This large group added to the diverse and vibrant atmosphere of the place. Overall Experience: We thoroughly enjoyed our time at California Pizza Kitchen. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a lively ambiance made for a memorable dining experience. We will definitely be returning for another family outing.

Great place if you are craving some warm pizza and refreshing mocktails. We got some Margherita pizza, California veggie pizza, spicy cauliflower bites and mocktails. Everything was delicious, plenty of parking fast and friendly service. Liked our experience here.

Everyone was welcoming! Our server was so nice! You can tell everyone love their job by the way they treat their customers! I got the club pizza-- sooo delicious! Has generous toppings, the avocado was fresh, the crust was phenomenal! My husband got the chipotle and it was super delicious, too! My daughter don't really eat pizza [ she's 4 ] we ask them if she could have a bowl of black olives, and they did. That was super nice! The bathroom was clean, the restaurant is clean, the ambience is great! Can't wait to go back!

Food Family Fries

The best pasta I have ever had. Flavor melts in your mouth and its super good. Their complementary breads are super soft and yummy. Also I tried their Vegetarian pizza super filling for one person. Must try their cauliflower appetizers, they were so delicious. Beehive drink was soooo good if like your drink sweet.

We checked out of our hotel in Monterey, did a bit of sightseeing before hitting the road. Ended up (by accident) at this place for lunch. I wasn’t expecting much but surprisingly the food was pretty good. We had some Caesar salad on a pizza base thing (pictured) that was actually a refreshing change from a usual stodgy cheese pizza. They were running some kind of promotion with a “scratch card” type thing that only a CPK Manager was authorised to open 🤣. Even if we won the cash prize, we would have been ineligible as we are not California residents. Always read the ts and cs kids.

The food way very good. I enjoyed the food and the drink. I’m only giving 3 stars because we ended up waiting a long time for our server each time we needed something which was kind of upsetting. However this with the fact that it was overall 60 dollars for my boyfriend and myself for potions that were a little on the small side kind of irritated me. I did enjoy the food but I will probably not go back due to the service and the prices here.

We’ve come here several times during holidays with family and seemingly forget the poor service only to be reminded by our next visit! This time we all agreed to remember NOT to come back here on our future holiday get togethers 😝 the service is pretty rough- most of us gets our food while one or two others sits and watch everyone eat only to be told “it’s coming!” Yikes. We were all done eating by the time one of the children got their kids meal. So weird! Same with the drinks. All drinks came except the carbonated water. Appetizers were even served while the carbonated water drinkers sat that thirsty 15 or so minutes waiting for the waters. Asked twice only to be told “they’re coming!” They seemed bothered if you asked for a straw they forgot to give you or napkins (should’ve been on the table already) just pretty bad service . They made you feel bad saying something which was just as bad as having to wait for things. Never again. Nothing like pins and needles while trying to have a fun experience with family. Our bill was over $400 as a group of 15. Maybe understaffed every year?

The food quality was terrible, I was so disappointed, I ordered two different types of pasta and it wasn’t good at all. The pizza that we ordered wasn’t fresh and the drinks were below average. Overall bad experience.

Hello, I visited the restaurant because I'm a tourist and I'm staying at the hotel near the restaurant. I decided to go because there's a California Pizza Kitchen in Atlanta and the service is good, but in this location, the service is terrible and they are racist towards tourists who are not American. I went on Monday, September 15th around 8:40 pm, and I think the girl who served me was named Sophia. She handed me the food without the drinks, and when I pointed it out, she only put ice in my drink with very little juice. The food was disorganized and a mess, and I realized it was done on purpose. But I know God will punish people like that!

I recently visited California Pizza Kitchen and unfortunately had one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. After being seated, my table was left waiting for over 45 minutes without even receiving water or having our order taken. What made it worse was seeing our waitress, Sophia, actively serving other tables that arrived after us. Those guests not only received their drinks and food promptly, but some had nearly finished their meals by the time we were still waiting for just water. It felt frustrating and unfair to be ignored like that. When our order was finally taken, the food itself was actually very good, which made the service even more disappointing because the kitchen clearly delivers on quality. Unfortunately, the terrible service overshadowed the meal. I left extremely dissatisfied with the experience. Great food means nothing when the service is this neglectful. I truly hope management addresses this, because no customer should ever wait this long to be acknowledged.
