Yesterday I visited this place and it was an incredible experience. We were served by Isamar who welcomed us with a big smile and was friendly. We asked him what he would recommend for us to eat and everything was delicious!!!! Thanks to Isamar we had 5-star service, 100% recommended.
Great beers and good food along with fast and friendly service. Lots of social distanced outdoor seating. Personal favorites are the cauliflower balls fish tacos chicken sandwiches. Oh did I mention live music.
Did you ever happen to get someplace before opening hours? It happens to me ever so often, mainly because I never check them... Not so long ago I spent a sunny weekend afternoon at CCB; kids had fun while adults enjoyed the beer, food and the atmosphere. Heck, even the design, especially in the bathroom. Today I happened to drive by Moraga during lunch time, and stopped here with hopes of another great time. I stepped right into a staff meeting, and somebody really nice walked to me and stated they open at 4pm. I wasn't disappointed but this person was a very aware guy I guess, and asked me if it's my 1st time here. I replied that it's only my 2nd. He then turned around, pulled a 4-pack of beer from the fridge, handed it over and said something like - this is for your 3rd time! A. This is the first time, that I meet someone who cares so much - both for customers and for his business. B. I would definitely come back here, even if I'll have to come to Moraga more often 😉 Cheers!
Canyon Club is a wonderful place to hang out and enjoy beer, food and friends. It is so warm and welcoming, eclectic in design and thought. I have enjoyed the burger and a word about the beer: excellent.
Great outdoor space. Lots of beer on tap. The only "real" bar and place to grab a drink in Moraga. Food service can only get better. The old OSH parking lot is often close to full. Thanks to the owners for taking a chance on our town. Hopefully, more will follow. 🍻
Great beer and good food. Would've been lovely if this place had existed 20 years ago when I was going to St. Mary's. But oh well. Will definitely go here before any basketball game from now on.
Oh, wait - they haven't even opened. No worries. I love beer. However they have been selling at the Hacienda nights, and the beer is good and the people running it seem very nice. Supposed to open later this year. I sure hop so!
Fantastic brewery, great food, super family friendly. Really glad we stopped in and will definitely come back. Pretzel comes with this crazy honey mustard butter that's incredible. Jeremy at the bar was awesome too. We'll be back!
Awesome place with a good food selection that will expand over time. Only salad available currently available is kale. Not my favorite but have to give it a try. The all meat chilli was spicy good and the pulled pork sliders were a well made classic. Yes this was shared food for my group. The place had a family vibe that should do well with the Orinda neighborhood. Interior space is unique with tall ceilings and a large skylight that proved a very open spacial feeling. Beer and they have plenty of it. Great selection with numerous on tap. We stayed inside Saturday afternoon. We would have ventured into the their open beer garden patio if they had a few more shade umbrellas. Try a flight of beers to figure out what you like. It's a lot of fun!
Great first date, night on the town, or family dinner environment. Wait staff are really great and accommodating. Very vigilant on social distancing and sanitation. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with excellent beer and food. Highly recommend a visit in the evening to partake in some life music out on the courtyard next to on of their fire pits.
The atmosphere was so pretty and chill! The music made my sister and I feel like we somehow stepped into our parent’s backyard while our father was barbecuing. It was awesome. The staff was so kind and made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. The drinks were delicious. I had a grapefruit Kambooza; good for you and fun! I look forward to coming back and sharing this gem with friends.
Brewery with a good selection of beer and good food. This is a particularly good spot for parents with kids. It's super easy to just order food from your phone at the table and the kids can just run around and have fun there. I have to put a special nod to the bathroom, decorated in celebration of "The Dude".
Good food and good beer😁 definitely will be back
Love the outside space! Particularly the fireplace combined with live music (holiday songs of course) made it feel super cozy. The beer selection was quite diverse and food options were OK. I‘ll definitely be back!
I photographed an event here tonight. There was room for a dance floor, photo booth, seating for 150+ guests, a full bar with a lively, young staff, clean bathrooms & ample parking. My only beef is your shoes get jacked up b/c of the dusty dirt out around the tables so dont wear your Jimmy Choo's out there. The big screens & fire pits are lovely!
Beer was fantastic, good reasonably priced food, and nice chill atmosphere. It was obvious that everyone working there genuinely enjoyed what they do. The home made root beer was probably the best I've ever had.
Canyon Club Brewery more than fills the void of the long overdue local watering hole for Lamorinda! The house brews, Burning Ram Kolsch and Not A Bougie Pale Red Ale were great and paired well with the pretzel and fried chicken sandwich. Ambiance feels like your own backyard with plenty of seating, stage for live music and multiple fire pits and is kid friendly to boot. Last but not least, great service from Jack and Kevin.
Went here on a Sunday. I loved how we were seated right away. It was a cold afternoon and they had a large fire place as well as heaters. The food arrived extremely fast. We tried the Brussels sprouts, German pancakes, and chicken tenders. The Brussels sprouts were delicious, the German pancakes were ok, they needed salt. My boyfriend loved the chicken tenders. The beer was also great. We both had flights, I noticed a man was setting up his music to perform a live show. Will definitely come back here.
Lively place to get together. Large outdoor patio with shade. We ordered online after using QR . The food and drinks came out pretty quick even with a busy crowd. Loved the crunchy fries and tator tots. The vegan burger was good.
Great spot with great beers. Had a vet familiar vibe from the breweries back home on the east coast but with a warm west coast feel. Chris behind the bar kept us well taken care of while there. Although we didn’t order any food, it all looked delicious and only heard great things from others about it. If you’re nearby definitely check this place out for a good assortment of beers
This is a great place, nice outdoor dining area with trees so it is cool and inside is air conditioned if it is too hot. Staff is very friendly but very busy so service may take some time but it is ok for the size of the place. Food was also very good, we got fried chicken sandwich, wings and Caesar salad. Price was on the high side but with the seating, staff and food it was fair. Would come again if I am in the area.
Update on my previous post. Service is top notch! Roni is an absolute gem. I can get a paper menu!!! Food is a 10 Service is a 10! Best new place in Danville!
My wife and I visited Canyon Club on a weekday. We'd never visited before, nor had we visited the town of moraga. Anyway, canyon club is evidently very popular for families; they have a big beer garden that was chock full of kids running around. The inside was light and airy, so all in all a pretty welcoming vibe. We had one of the tasting flights (their dark beer selection). Overall, a very nice visit and we'd likely visit again given the chance.
Had an amazing experience last Saturday evening with family and friends at Canyon Club Brewery. The service was excellent and the food delicious! Not being much of a beer drinker, I was happy to have had great wine & cocktail options to choose. Also, the live music made the experience complete. The music duo, Tawnee & Steven were interacting with the audience and sounded amazing! Outside under the trees and stars, families, dogs and happy people. Definitely going back! Only suggestion is to get there early so you can grab a table. 😀
Others have complained about ordering from a QR code. I personally found it super easy. We needed another beer, hit send and 4 min later a beer showed up. Want fries or wings? Just hit send. Plenty of awesome servers helping people. Beer was cold. Great atmosphere. Enjoyed the live music. Check it out. Won’t be disappointed.
Idk I felt like this place rocks. Good yummy beer great bar food awesome tv with the game on I mean what more could you want. Also really dog friendly. I don’t get why this place doesn’t have better reviews, for a sports bar it hits it out of the park. I got a bulgogi sandwhich that was awesome. Also had some wings that were meaty and delicious as well. We sat by the fire as a group of 4 and had a great time after a hike. I’m def coming back.
Excellent food and drinks. 9 out of 10 for us. One point deducted from a slow service. We waited a half hour for our beers. It happened twice. Food is amazing though. I love the atmosphere of this place. Strongly recommend!
Wow - what an amazing spot! Stellar service and very covid conscious - find a seat and scan the menu - order online, put in your table number and boom. So convenient, it's crazy. I had the "Canyon Club Burger" with avocado and bacon added and it was delicious. I was also a big fan of their porter. Can't wait to come back here! Bathrooms are super cool too 😂.
Fantastic place. Nice and friendly people. Luke is a fantastic host. It was our first time in there and he couldn’t treat us better than how he behaved. Great environment. Lovely southern music. Strongly recommended
If you like dark lagers, the Benevolent Shadow Overlord is excellent! How can you go wrong with a name like that?!
Great place to hang outside. Plenty of seating. Live music quite often. They have tasty beer! I had the burger and wife had the fish n' chips, both were great.
Great ambiance! Big area outside to hang out with lots of types of seating options. Cooler in the building if it is a hot day! All staff was quick and helpful. The cherry cider was quite tasty. The bartenders are happy to pour you a taste if you want to try first. The pretzels come with a mustard butter which is more butter than mustard but it's quite delicious. The chicken sandwich had a bit of a kick but was a little hard to eat due to the size of the piece of chicken. Chicken was nice and crispy. Sandwich arrived piping hot. Fries were tasty too.
As a Moraga native, I can't help but be excited about the Canyon Club; it's a fantastic new addition to a town that has held onto its timeless charm for decades. The brewery's diverse drink menu caters to all tastes. While I'm a big fan of their kombucha and enjoy sipping on champagne, the real treat is their craft beer. However, their kombucha and bubbles provide a refreshing alternative for those seeking a non-alcoholic option. The food menu is equally impressive. The tacos are bursting with flavor (I typically order them grilled), and the fried chicken sandwich is a crowd-pleaser. They've truly mastered the art of pairing great food with great drinks. I'd also highly recommend their Barvarian pretzels with beer cheese. Another aspect I truly love about this place is the local merchandise they offer. From stylish shirts and cozy sweatshirts to mugs, disc frisbees, and hats, it's impossible to leave without finding a souvenir that suits your taste while of course representing Moraga. Don't forget to ask for free stickers! The staff here consistently deliver a positive and fun atmosphere. Whether it's the bartender recommending the perfect brew or the servers ensuring we have everything we need, the service is top-notch. Their outdoor seating area is a true gem. It exudes a comfortable, laid-back vibe that makes us feel right at home. It's the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy a sunny afternoon. I can't forget to mention the bathrooms - they're like no other. The guys' bathroom is a tribute to The Big Lebowski, complete with quirky decor that puts a smile on your face. On the other hand, the women's bathroom is decked out with a Princess Bride theme, adding a touch of whimsy to the experience. I’ve noticed that a majority of the clientele hails from the Lamorinda area, making it feel like a closely-knit community hangout. It's the kind of place where you can strike up a conversation with friendly locals or simply enjoy some quality time with your loved ones. In summary, this Canyon Club is a hidden gem that I'm happy to call my go-to spot. If you haven't visited yet, it's definitely worth a trip to experience its unique charm and positive vibes.
Slightly less personal experience with QR ordering system, but nonetheless efficient and solid service. Would be nicer if at least one staff was floating around to check in/follow up with customers during dining experience. Good beer selection and reasonable prices for the area, great outdoor seating - dog friendly and kid friendly. We'll be back!
I had driven by here and wanted to check it out with my wife as it looked like a fun place to sit and unwind with a flight and a meal. The place is decorated for a nice fun atmosphere. I noticed how much outdoor seating was available, though we sat inside on this visit. Looked at some of the weird 1 star review claims about a lack of physical menu's, slow, service, and paying/tipping upfront and there was none of that when we went. Yes, there's a QR code menu on the tables, but when we asked for physical menus they were perfectly accommodating and gave them to us without issue. The server even took our order directly when I had a question about customizing my flight order. We each ordered a flight, some apps, and shared an entrée & desert. Food came out to our table quickly, and was delicious and fresh tasting. The Angry Wings were better than many other breweries I've had wings at. Bathrooms each have their own fun theme to them. Women's is Princess Bride themed, while the men's is Big Labouski themed. Pricing was standard, not overpriced. This place would be great to hold group events with friends at, I'll definitely be returning!

I'm so glad we finally got to try this place. We came here for lunch on a weekday holiday, and there was a good-sized crowd. I'm partial to dark beers, and their porter and brown ale are solid choices. For the food, we had garlic parmesan wings, a salad, and the pretzels. All were tasty and came quick. I do want to try their chicken sandwich next time, which I heard is pretty amazing. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall, it was a very good experience. The outdoor space looks really great. We will bring our dogs next time.

Great spot, I just wish there were more vegetarian options. Fried, breaded tofu as an option for salads or as an appetizer would be nice, or cauliflower wings. There could be some inspiration drawn from other breweries in Oakland for vegetarian options!
Good beer and food. The COVID days are past, so get rid of the QR code ordering. Ordering that way is very impersonal, and tipping before you are served does not inspire good service and may reduce a good server’s tip.
A little pricey, option to order is over the phone only by using a QR code at your table; great location, some shade available; servers are friendly; house beer selection is delicious; full menu is not always available- brunch, dinner, ...; relaxed environment
Had fun, great singer awsome wings and quesadilla. You put the QR scanning code on your phone and order or the bartender can help you if you need assistance 😀 My only complaint is the flooring,it's all dirt outside, your shoes get filthy
A little pricey, but beer was great. Salad and Philly sandwich were also good. I felt kind of confused regarding ordering and food. Some hybrid thing going on with the taco truck outside and even though I'm a tekkie I'm just not a fan of ordering through a QR code even though I know it's becoming more of a thing; that's for Doordash IMO. I prefer a waitperson. But overall a good experience.
Awesome spot to drink a few cold ones. Beers are solid but nothing super unique. Also have guest taps. Food is also really solid. The real reason to come here is the bier garden. Outside area is great, awesome setting to join a few friends and drink in the natural light. friendly staff, go there often and will continue to show up because we love it. Also great fire pits for when the sun sets.
Great vibe! Good food! Delicious beers and ciders! Love the ordering system (app from table) but it’s not for everyone. Also, seating is not consistently comfortable, but it can be part of the fun.
Update: I understand there is a new manager now and I can already see some of their kinks being sorted out. Original post: Disclaimer: they just opened and I understand that they are working everything out. Excellent job on the remodel everything looks nice. The 441 cc BSA motercycle tap is a really nice touch and all the staff are friendly. Unfortunately, we waited at the bar for a long time, it would be nice to be greeted at the bar where we have to order beer. The kitchen was so overwhelmed that the food takes forever, if they figure out how to increase the volume in the kitchen it would really help. A suggestion is to hire someone that has worked in a food truck and has produced mass volumes quickly. Lastly, when we were there they had a bar staff meeting and a waitor/waitress staff meeting. They were blocking the bar and the exit. We could also hear everything they were saying. It would be best to have these where customers can't see. This place has potential but a lot of work to do to get there.
Great vibe. Good beer and live music at the weeks end! My only complaint is that you have irresponsible dog owners who think that letting their dog sniff other dogs while not paying attention to behavioral queues is ok. It was evident that some of the dogs should not have been brought into such an environment, of course with the typical Bay-Area dismissal of "oh he just wants to play" (as their dog snarls and bears teeth)... Not the most comfortable tables to be next to during the oblivious owner interaction...
Beautiful outdoor space, dog-friendly, kid-friendly. Good food, good beer, good service. Huevos Rancheros, fried chicken sandwich, burgers and fries were all good. Brussels sprouts appetizer was spicy and delicious. Love the mobile menu/ordering system.
After a day of driving through the twisty, tiny, winding, elevated roads of Lafayette Orinda and Moraga househunting, it was time for a break at the Canyon Club Brewery for dinner. We had our two small dogs with us so we needed to choose a place that welcomed animals. We ordered directly from our phones and the waiters brought our selections as they became available. Easy! My husband enjoyed the Hazy IPAs and I sipped an ale as we dipped our pretzels in warm cheese. I really enjoyed the chicken sandwich. There was something on the menu for everyone. The outdoor seating was necessary since we had the dogs. We chose a shaded picnic table today since we were eating but they were other lounge chairs available if you were just here to enjoy a beer.
Edited review after my second visit. Beer was good and the food was better this time. Had a burger again. I ordered medium, but it was well done. On point, otherwise. Fries were great. I checked the tap list on the website before going, and it wasn't correct. I found a nice stout to drink, though. My friend went in and opened a tab. That worked great. I tried to get the QR code system to work, but got irritated with the difficulty of getting a scan and the authentication process. That all seemed pointless as my friend was already drinking a beer. The employees were all nice and the service was very good.
We arrived around 5pm, and there were three benches available outside. The menu and ordering are now all online, and require a smartphone to read the QR code glued to the table to go to their ordering mobile website. It displays the menu, where you place your order and pay. The wait staff person shows up with your beer and/or food. As long as you don't have any questions, it's an effective system. The beers were ok, not great. We had a hamburger and a Philly Cheese Steak. Both were excellent. The people we interacted with were very friendly, and overall, we enjoyed the experience.
It's a brewery and restaurant with most Mexican and American cuisines in a great casual setting. Indoor and outdoor seatings. Full bar. Live music Friday and Saturday nights. Great selection of beers. Outdoor seating with fire pits and big screens. Very decent and clean settings for outdoor gathering. Indoor has bar, tables and big bench. Service is quick and welcoming. Free parking lot and accessible with flat and wide entry or outdoor seating.
Pros: The chicken sandwich was FABulous; the beer-battered situation is creative & distinguishes it from the standard. Garlic fries were abundant & worth the up-charge. Salad was good, dressed well. Pretzels were the second highlight of the meal; mustard & beer cheese both well executed. Bartender gal was friendly and attentive. Big fan of her service. Low Points- The burger wasn’t up to expectation. Patty was small. Nothing unique to this burger. Root Beer - good flavor, a bit flat. NA selection - wish there was more than one NA Lager choice, but what was present was great! Would return.
Great atmosphere. Yummy food! A group of us visited after a lovely hike nearby. We sat inside due to the cold weather. Surprisingly quiet inside. I was expecting not to be able to hear each other over the chatter of others. Staff were friendly but very busy. Getting their attention took some work. I'm not a fan of QR Code ordering. Missing the human interaction with staff. I wished they had paper menus so not everyone was staring at their phones at the table. Our table had the big a$$ quesadilla, brussel sprouts, kids tenders, kids hotdog, fish and chips and some non alcoholic beverages. Fold will definitely bring me back. The brussel sprouts were a huge hit around the table. I'd visit for those alone. Portions are huge. You can definitely share the quesadilla between 2 people. Food tasted fresh. The plating was very appealing. Hoping to try the pretzels next visit. Outdoor seating looked comfy. Looks like a hot spot when the weather is warm again. While they did have heaters outdoors it was cozier inside. Glad to see Moraga getting more great restaurants in town.
It’s really great to have a beer spot in Moraga and there’s nice indoor and outdoor space. Beer selection is solid. Maybe a dozen beers on tap. Service is a little slow, but they are new and hopefully will work out the kinks. Food: Menu is very limited. We tried the fried chicken sandwich and burger. Both could be radically better with one small tweak - they need SALT. The chicken sandwich was pretty amazing in terms of freshness, texture and size but was bland. The burger was not as good but again could have been much better with some seasoning. Also, Canyon folks can you please put salt and pepper shakers on the tables? Overall happy to have this spot in the neighborhood and hoping it just gets better from here.
So enjoyable, i believe everything is tasty i got the fish n chips i liked it, i wish the bar seats are more comfortable and that is all.

Food was really tasty, and staff were attentive and friendly. The outdoor fireplace was a treat. Not many Gluten-free options.
Great Hard Kambucha, Asian nuts and Asian wings. Easy good food, staff was efficient. Pretty good, fun family atmosphere.
They don't offer a sampler flight of their beer? Seems like a miss opportunity. We thought the wheat was ok and the saison to be tasty. We got the pretzel, the beer cheese was not worth the extra charge, what comes with it was very tasty. ProTip before you ask, you can order glasses of ice water from the ordering app. Also be aware there is an app fee when you use it.
Beer is good but the food was disappointing, especially for the price. The $15 burger we got was very basic and other than a decent bun the ingredients were mediocre. The setting is gorgeous, they did a great build out of the space.
Their fish & carnitas tacos were great. The beers were ok. The scan ordering they r doing during covid is very annoying.....hopefully, it can go back 2 normal wait staff.. ..
The overall space was excellent. The outdoor area had good and relaxing vibes. The payment system was a little convoluted (you have to order via an app for contactless service which is nice but the actual system being used doesn’t work all that well so it’s difficult to use) and while the food was good, it was definitely nothing to write home about. Fairly standard food. Beer selection is great if that’s all you are going there for!
Lowering my review as previously Good burger and excellent fries have evolved to okay burger and cold, hard fries. If I hadn't been in the company of guests, I would have sent fries back and requested hot crispy fries.
The most important thing to know about this brewery restaurant is that it is a post-Covid very limited service operation. There's really no one to ask much of anything about the food or the beer. It may have been possible to go to the bar to get tastes of the various beers, but definitely no table service to accommodate this. All ordering is done through an app that you get to by scanning a QR code at your table. As such, there is very limited staff and it's difficult to get anyone to help you with much of anything. Our food was okay, but mine was served lukewarm, probably due to waiting for my wife's entree, which was served hot. It was a cool spring evening so we didn't take advantage of it, but the outside seating areas did appear to be nice for a warmer evening. I find the lack of service off-putting and for that reason will not be returning.
I find myself coming to Canyon Club occasionally, because the location is ideal, the outdoor patio is welcoming and sunny, and it's rarely too busy to find a spot. Also the service is fast and efficient and the phone-based ordering is convenient. However, each time I am just thoroughly disappointed by the quality of the food. This afternoon I had the hamburger with side salad for $20. The side salad is a child-sized portion of mixed lettuce and a single cherry tomato rationed into thirds. The burger bun was dry and not toasted or even warmed, and the patty was really thin, the result is that the ratio between meat/bread is just, well, unmistakably wrong. On other occasions I have sampled the other menu options, never with any level of satisfaction. The beer is fine, not great in my opinion, but I like the idea of supporting a local brewery and local business. I just wish it was better.
The food and drinks were good but the service could have been better. The server that brought our drinks spilled them and didn't apologize or offer to help clean up. In fact he didn't even bring napkins, he just went back to the bar and talked to the other servers. I had to go and get napkins and he still didn't apologize. The other servers were nice and helped but not sure what was going on with the other server, maybe just having a bad day. Outside of that, the food and beer were good and the restaurant had a nice setting.
Great space if you have kids and wanna order on the kids menu and have a drink and watch sports not a great space if you want to enjoy good food and a chill atmosphere.
We go to the Canyon club pretty often as we have family around. It's usually pretty crowded as it is one of the few bars in the neighborhood. Be prepared to wait if you don't have prior reservation. They usually have live music and it is a great spot to hang out, specially if the weather is good. We had the veggie tacos and the meatless burger. It wasn't great. The salad was probably the best. They have a wide range of beers, we had the flight to try some out.

The beer is great. The fries are some of the best. The vibes are great. The three stars, though, are for every other item on the menu that I've tried (hamburger, veggie burger, pasta of the week, and cauliflower wings) being aggressively mediocre to bad. It's really disappointing. But again, great beer. Great fries. So, three stars.
I guess they fired all of their waitstaff and replaced them with QR codes and an online menu. Despite the only employees you will ever encounter being the high school/college age servers, they still automatically add a 20% tip to your bill! Also, they changed their batter for their fried foods making the breading much denser (and worse) than it was before
I found ordering very awkward. Only online and if you order 2 beers you have to enter credit card etc twice unless you want them to store your credit card forever. Worse while they had several IPAs, I didn't like any of them. I found the fish tacos small but dripping gooey with aioli sauce. Very messy
I'm frequent in this lovely neighborhood hang out. Always enjoyed dining and having sip of beer. Came today to watch the Warriors game with my warriors fans friends. Unfortunately, we couldn't order food? Well,.. we were 3min after 8pm. "Sorry, kitchen is closed", and other technical glitches. Ran out of beer?!!Really??? A place that takes pride itself with neighborhood friendly should reconsider its operation. Needless to say, the group left disappointed. We were happy to drive to the 'Fouth Bore' .. (Theater Square)GREAT FOOD, GREAT service and TV screen. Perfect venuetowatch your sports teams. From now on, Fouth Bore is a go to place. Sorry Canyon club. You lost my business as well as other potential patrons.
Definitely fills a void for places to hang in Moraga. Cool outdoor patio. That said, beer is homebrew quality. Could really use some high quality guest taps. QR code ordering system is weak. Fun if you have kids and want to hang while they run around. Not so fun if you don't.
We were so excited for the opening of Canyon Club Brewery, but after 2 visits feel let down by the disorganization and poor service. Only one bartender for all the servers and people coming up to the bar. Took 20 minutes to get a beer. There are lots of employees standing around looking clueless, and lines of customers at the door and bar waiting for a table or just a beer. I’ll try again in a month and hope they get it together.
Nice atmosphere, great beers, nice food BUT don't turn up thirsty, after a year of coming home it takes an age for the drink to come out to the table. Plus the ordering app takes a percentage of the costs.
This was not a pleasant experience. We came here for a late lunch after a long hike. I called ahead of time to make sure they had room because the AFC/NFC games were on. They said they had room no problem. We arrived 5 minutes later and waited about 10 minutes - no one said anything, one group of two ahead of us, plenty of available tables, didn't seem understaffed at all. We were eventually helped and taken to a table inside. The staff member said NOTHING when they sat us down. We sat for about 10 minutes wondering when we might get water, menus, something (again, the staff member said NOTHING to us when we sat down). Finally my 10 year old got up to find us self-serve water (which is totally fine to have, but we had no idea because the staff member didn't say anything to us). Another few minutes went by and still no one helped us, how do we order? We asked a staff member who was walking by if we could be helped, he told us, "oh, sorry, I guess no one told you, you order via the QR code," and walked off. Pretty annoying, would have been nice to have been told when we sat down because we had no idea. So we ordered via the QR code. Two kids burgers, fish and chips, adult burger (asked for well done) and quinoa salad (with added avocado and grilled chicken). Our food came and the adult burger that was specified to be well done was basically raw and covered in so much aioli that the whole burger was a soggy mess. My quinoa salad was supposed to come with bell peppers, grapes, apples and arugula. If I had not gotten the avocado and grilled chicken, it basically would have been just quinoa. I had, and I'm not joking, four sprigs of arugula, no apples at all, possibly one slice of a bell pepper diced and literally one half of one grape. We were also NEVER helped by any staff or checked in on. It was the silent seating from the staff member and someone bringing food, that's it. But we were forced to give a 20% tip by the ordering system and they added an additional fee for ordering through the app. Overall it was a pretty lame experience. Giving two stars because my kids ate their burgers, but I definitely would not go back
Not happy. The waitress said they didn't need to check our vaccine cards if we were going to sit outside. Gee, how do I feel about that!?! Does that mean I should not sit outside because it's unsafe with all the antivaxxers out there?!?! The ordering is via QRcode and online menu. $8 for a pretzel? Really? Burgers were expensive and didn't look that good. Never saw a beer menu, because we didn't want to go inside. Waitress was rude. So total loss all around.
Food is just okay, the fries are great though. Super slow service, took almost 45 minutes to get our beers after ordering (on a Tuesday night), a little over an hour after ordering to get food.
Just two of us on a Saturday afternoon, a beer and Lemonade took over 20minutes to arrive, a burger and salad took another 25minutes. Entire families arriving same time or after us had received ALL their food, drinks and paid their bills by the time we actually got to eat = $73. Very dussappoinying experience especially for what we paid. Hope your experience is better than ours.
Nice space, patio is great. Beer is meh. One single men’s room though, absolutely nuts move for a large brewery
Meh. Only brewery in moraga. Way overpriced for very small portions of mediocre food, but sometimes I don’t feel like driving to Headlands in Lafayette. I generally regret that decision once I’m here.
Service here is just average. There is no follow up after they drop off your meal. We had the wedge salad and it was a bad joke. They barely sprinkled any bacon on it. For about the same price at other restaurants, it comes coated. Also, the wedge itself is tiny. Really re- thinking how much I like this place.
The obligatory mobile app needs to go. The checkout experience required 15 mins of me screwing with it to save the owner hiring wait staff. Dropping customers off with no menu, no waiter, expected to fend for themselves. If I wasn't meeting someone there I would have walked out. Food was pricey and was not worth the price charged, music low quality. Whole exp was subpar
The burgers are $25! I ordered online and paid $60 with tax and tip for 2 cheeseburgers and fries. That is a ridiculous price to pay for a cheeseburger and fries. Unfortunately, I had to get something close for kids at St.Marys. Never again.
We’ve wanted to try this place for a long time and we were very disappointed with the experience. The place is gorgeous but the service and food were so bad. It’s a personal preference but I really don’t enjoy ordering and paying at the table with your phone. I had a few questions before ordering so this wasn’t ideal because we couldn’t find anyone. We had two burgers and both were ice cold ( cheese not melted) and way undercooked. I ordered medium and it was raw. The bun was also super soggy and bloody from the juice. Also my husband’s drink tasted really bad like cleaning fluid. I don’t mind paying $25 for a burger but when it’s good. Our bill was over $70 for two burgers and drinks that we didn’t even touch.
Food was bland, the fries tasted like someone had purposely sabotaged them. Service was pretty good which is why i left a 2 but man was i disappointed with the food. Maybe it was an off night? or maybe i pissed off the chef ? can’t tell but i won’t be back

Unclear if this is a brewery or daycare. Be forewarned. No menus. Payment and tip required before service. Our fish & chips showed up suspiciously fast. Arrived cold and overcooked. Halfway through our meal the drinks finally arrived, with the server dumping a beer on us. We barely got a "sorry" and no attempt to clean up the mess. Won't be returning.
If you want terrible service and no physical menus, and have food that taste like it's microwaved with inflated prices you've found the spot. Been wanting to go to Canyon Club for 2/3 years, wow was I disappointed. Straight from the beginning it was garbage. We had a group of 8 and went to watch the NBA playoffs basketball game. Told us nothing available outside, so sat inside. Sat down started watching the game and they changed the channel to golf and hockey. They wouldn't change one TV for us. And this was after the complete disaster trying to order with no menu. My mom and dad are 70 and they are not good with QR codes or being able to see things in general on their phones. Asked for menus and they have none. We all got up and left and went to Frank's Sports Bar. Dropped $400 between us all and had a great time. Headed back to Frank's tonight to watch the Golden State game. Avoid Canyon Club, unless you like trash, that's all it is.
The food is bad and very overpriced. The pictures of food on the menu are deceiving. The beer is ok
We were standing at the door to be seated. The waiter standing at the bar totally ignored us. I don't think he couldn't see 5 people standing at the door. He walked from the bar to a table opposite where we stood to serve the people there. I thought he would come and talk to us, but he did not! He walked back to the bar. Then I started to talk to him. He looked at me and put his hand on his ear, as if he couldn't hear what I said. He didn't bother to come to talk to us. He then walked to the back of the restaurant and called a woman out to speak to us. Why could he walk to the table and the kitchen but not to the door and pretend he couldn't hear me when I talked to him? What kind of service is that? Please don't act like you are blind and deaf. With this kind of service, I wonder when they'll be out of business. NEVER GO HERE.
I went here for an early dinner, half my party’s food arrived 15 minutes before the rest kind of annoying but forgivable. What’s infuriating is I ordered a hot tea and it arrived luke warm. When I asked the server who was clearly over worked for him to bring hot water and he said he would come back but never did. The kicker is you can’t adjust your tip because they make you prepay: I will not come here again. I feel like they should limit the amount of tables per server to a reasonable amount given their price point.
