The lovely people working here make this location special. Everyone was so very pleasant and efficient. My drink was exactly as I ordered it and I really enjoyed it.
I usually do online pick up, they do ask for your name when you walk up. They also get really busy, so be aware if you park up front you might get trapped by the drive-thru line! This is the only drive-thru coffee in Buda, and they do a good job. I've only had one drive thru error, and it was just hot vs. iced. The people are friendly when I have ordered there.

Starbucks is always good, even though you have to wait a while. They are quick and almost always get my order right. When they don't, they happily remake it. I like the rewards program too, and all the chances to get extra bonus stars, which means faster rewards!
the customer service here is great! i came in to get my birthday drink and the baristas that helped me was so sweet and friendly. they even wrote happy birthday and drew balloons on my cup <3 1000/10 recommend!
It was busier thru the drive thru than going inside.
First time in a long time that my app order was ready at the stated time. They had a long line of cars in the drive thru, many people ordering and waiting inside, and yet, my complete order was still ready on time. I ordered from this location while traveling... please give my local Starbucks your secret.
Always on point!! My fave Starbucks out of all the locations in Buda, Kyle & south Austin! Never disappointed. ◡̈ Although the drive thru is a hassle and people don’t know how to NOT block drivers and incoming traffic — once you get past that you won’t be disappointed!
So the Starbucks was exceptionally great because even though I had to take a turn around to get to it at for something five in the morning and I'm coming out of Austin after dropping off at an emulator but didn't tip and it was great cuz like I could go use the restroom didn't have stupid door locks on it I guess cuz I was on the nice side of town they don't have to lock their bathrooms. Hate that so tacky so truck stop but the coffee was on point of some people. Love to say it was delicious and they were chatty and a little bit sarcastic and fun. It was a nice stop. 🙂 🙂
I love this Starbucks. And you should go to this particular one. Be sure to ask for Abbi. She's amazing at her drinks. I go in for the best John Wayne/ undertow, and she never disappoints. Always delivers with the best tasting one and a smile. Thanks Abbi. You're an Angel. The store is always clean and the staff is always so friendly. Love it.
Very convenient location between San Antonio and Austin. They do have a drive-thru but I usually stop and go inside to get a break from driving. Everyone is super friendly and efficient and my orders are already correct. Really easy to get to the off the highway.
I went during lunch time and there was plenty of room to sit, enough shade to sit outside and read a book in the hot Texas heat. The cookie frappe I bought was made beautifully and tasted delicious. It was too sweet.
Heard of service after the sale? Service at this Starbucks is absolutely amazing during the sale warm, friendly and accurate. The line for the drive through is really long most of the time but if you are not in too much of a hurry, it is worth the wait.
This Starbucks was packed with people due to the boil water notice in Austin. Austin Starbucks were closed due to the notice. The crew was operating like a well oiled machine. They didn't slow down our show the stress they had to be under. I was truly impressed with their energy, composure and friendly demeanor!!! Hats off to an outstanding crew!!!!
I love this location, one of the better locations I go to daily/weekly. Drinks are consistently good! Please stock up on more potato chive egg bites though, they are always sold out :(
I often stop here in the mornings (too often...). I order with the mobile app and pick up inside, which typically makes things super quick and easy. The baristas are always friendly and working as fast as they can. Can't wait to see the renovations. 😁
I normally don't write reviews especially for Starbucks, but the lady working today was so incredibly pleasant and kind! And my matcha was absolutely perfect. I didn't catch her name ☹️but she's awesome!!

This location is so fast and friendly. They haven't made a mistake on an order of mine yet. It takes less time to get through a line of 7 or 8 cars at this location than it has taken to get through half as many at the average Starbucks.
Whichever girl or gay made my pink drink at exactly 7:34 this morning...I love you. I've been living in this area for over three years now and my orders are consistently wrong. My go to is a pink drink with sweet cream cold foam. The past six months whenever I've stopped to get a drink there is always an ingredient missing or very little cold foam on top or both. You restored my faith this morning with a perfect drink. Thank you.
Visited 7-18-21 on a BUSY Sunday afternoon. The drive through line went to the frontage road and hindered traffic getting in and out. It was quicker to park and walk in to get a drink. Inside seating area was open and tables spaced out. Our orders were processed correctly and the barista was friendly. Bathroom needed attention but wasn’t disgusting. Parking was ample. Easy access to I-35 north.
This location is amazing. Superb fast and friendly staff very professional! They were very understanding when my wife tried to add funds to her Starbucks card and kept clicking “add” thinking it was slow. Well, it turns out she added several hundred dollars to the card all the while triggering a fraud alert which locked her out of her bank card. I’m still in a bit of trouble about the amount of laughter...
Pretty standard Starbucks. Staff was friendly and efficient. Our drinks were correct. We did a mobile order and so just used the drive through. Have been inside before and was clean and felt cozy inside even though it was crowded.
It was good coffee, place was really busy in the drive-thru, had cars wrapped around the building, so I went inside and nobody was inside. Was able to tell the cashier I ordered ahead and was in and out in about 5 minutes. Really nice actually. People were real friendly and helpful.
Starbucks is an experience so when I order I want the drink to look like the picture I ordered a drink this morning I was very disappointed what I ordered and what I got completely different as I walked up to the counter the barista noticed I was not happy with my drink and she told me it was the newest drink on the menu she ask if I wanted something else I did not have time for her to make me another drink I did not want a different drink I wanted the I ordered not happy service is great most people who choose Starbucks go for the experience of the drink I ordered the Caramel Vanilla Swirl Iced Coffee I did not have no Caramel Vanilla Swirl I got a basic Iced Coffee 😫
I do not go to Starbucks very much at all but it just appears to take a long time for a half and half iced tea. Lots of other people ordering more complicated drinks but 15 minutes for a drink seems excessive.
Let me just say the lady that greets you in the morning is super friendly and is a joy. The service is consistent with the brand. This location does have a bit of traffic flow issue, but its Texas and we are courteous. There is nothing really spectacular about this store its good its not the best ive ever been to but its right up there serving caffeinated consciousness by the cup.
Consistent with beverages but not with service. I've been coming here for years and more often than not, they seem a bit slow in comparison to other locations however, they have had their speedy moments which are always a welcome surprise. It's not an issue if you are running ahead of schedule or like to sit down inside but don't stop here if you're running late to your destination. I've never had an issue with staff. They have always been kind, courteous and do their best to accommodate customers. It's a big reason why I come back. I live in NYC and an done with people treating you like a number which is NOT the case here. To top it off, the inside is always clean and the displays are always on point which speaks volumes about staff. The parking lot is the worst layout I've ever because the cars in the drive-thru are either ignorant, oblivious or selfish. Don't park in the slots in front of the main entrance unless you want to get blocked in by them. I just watched a car wait almost 15 minutes to back out so they could leave.
Amazing Starbucks visit! The cozy atmosphere was perfect, with friendly baristas who nailed my latte—beautiful art on top! Drinks were perfectly crafted, hot and delicious. Clean store, quick service even during rush, and great vibes for working or relaxing. My favorite spot for quality coffee!

Great staff. Great coffee. Great experience **Update** - lately I've been really disappointed with consistency. Several times over the past month or so my drinks have been made wrong. Sometimes I just deal with it, but other times I ask for it to be corrected and usually get a unfriendly response and the drink is made wrong again!... I worked at Starbucks for 3 years in college. If a drink was made wrong we would be more than happy to fix it and make up for the mistake trying to give the customer an even better experience. Mistakes happen. It's how they are handled the determines good customer service. So I felt the need to update my original review. I've written corporate a couple of times. I'm really concerned about consistency and customer service. This location used to be 5 stars. Now it's unfortunately a 3 star on most occasions. Hope to see change in management and operations. Also forgot to mention.. if your in a hurry your better off driving to the Starbucks in south park meadows and walking inside to get your beverage. On multiple occasions I have waited in line for near 20 to 30 minutes. Come on Starbuckd I know you can do better start taking pride in your art!
Let me start by saying I am a long time customer of starbucks. I order the exact same drink every single time. The location in Kyle and South Park meadows get it right 98% of the time. Then there is the buda location. I order a coffee with heavy cream and a lot of sweetner. At this location it comes out bitter and tastes watered down as if they reuse coffee grinds. I have been having this same problem with them for years but refrained from writing a review because I don't like blasting people online. However, after realizing how many coffees from this place have gone straight to the garbage AND getting another two today that went there I realized it is time. Based on the reviews here it seems I'm not the only one... and I don't see the business responding to anyone else either. Maybe they don't care? Either way save your money and go elsewhere. Summer moon is a bit more expensive but they will make it right every time.
A great place to spend a lot of money of basic coffee.
This place is nice. Staff are nice and everything is clean. However, there could be more bigger tables. The only table that 4 people can sit are almost always being used by a staff. I think they are getting their store related work done there but occupying a big table isn't efficient. They need to get a separate work space for employees. That's my only and big suggestion.
This is a pretty good Starbucks and the food is great, but the waiting time is way too long we ordered first but people behind us got their orders more quick then us, we ordered two drinks and it took FOREVER
Starbucks isn’t exactly the best coffee ever, but from this particular location, it’s even more mediocre. They are also SUPER slow, parking sucks and backs up the drive though, and the employees sound downright hostile in the mornings.
No waiting when I arrived . I gave my order in the drive through but then she said she wasn't ready. Strange. I waited a while and gave my order 1 drank and a muffin. Drive through is taking a extremely long time this afternoon. Got to the window all the orders for several cars were lined up and ready. But the young lady at the window wasn't. By this time there's a line of cars wrapped around.
Customer service was lacking! Ordered on app had a long wait still when we arrived....it's Saturday morning so would've been fine but not one employee was friendly. They all seemed to hate their job. I heard one lady upset her order was wrong and she didn't even get an I'm sorry. The lady just said you want it hot then? Needless to say she left unhappy with a $4 drink she didn't want. Sad.
This is my 3rd time here, today I waited 15 minutes for my quad expresso, too long, and besides that I never get my cup of water. I order a quad expresso ristreto but was not so hot and the taste was poor. I know the girl who prepared it was very busy but she needs help, she has a ton of order. I'm not sure if I will be back again.
This location has a handful of employees that understand customer service. The last several visits have resulted in a longer than normal wait for mobile ordered drinks. Service and attitude is MUCH better at Slaughter/i-35. Although I work in buda, I will probably drive the distance to be treated properly.
My iced chai tea latte tasted like a glass of milk with one squirt of chai. Very disappointing to not discover this until I was already on my way down the highway.
Not too big on leaving reviews, but I’ve been here enough times to say it’s not my favorite. I always get an iced coffee, and it is always watered down here. Not to mention it’s really never done right. This last time, the barista poured my almond milk and syrup’s on top of the ice so it just sat there, as I’m stirring it she approaches me and tells me that almond milk never mixes in properly (sorta true) but that my drink was good and still tastes good almost as if she’s telling me there is nothing wrong with it… I think she just didn’t want to fix it, but the employees here always seem to have an irritated attitude
Nice people at this store, but corporate needs to allocate way more food items. On the weekends you're not getting anything to eat unless you're there at 6am.
I got accused of making a run for it at the drive thru. She handed me my food so fast I didn’t have time to put my car in park I always do because I have short arms and I when I reach for the window my foot sometimes taps the gas pedal. When I turned to put my car in park the lady at the window said into her mic “she’s gonna run” which offends me because I come here atleast once or twice a week and see those same people all the time. The egg bites that she handed me are like $6 and not even that great for me to drive off like that since I enjoy grabbing coffee here before I go to work.
Went at 4:00 on a Saturday. The drive through had 5 cars and wasn't moving so after 5 minutes we went in. We ordered but did not receive our coffee for 15 minutes! The only.reason it took so long is because the 4 baristas we're too busy talking to help the one older lady actually working. We asked for the manager and we're told 2 of the talking girls we're managers! Wow!! I do not recommend this location for the time it took.
I stop at this Starbucks a couple times a week- I came here for a mobile order through the drive thru, the girl got my name wrong and didn’t apologize but busted out laughing instead- i get to the window and she tries to charge me for my mobile order that I paid for already I told her again it’s a MO and then she tries to hand me another persons order and I tell her it’s not mine and then she asks my name again- I tell her and she hands it to me without a “my bad, or I’m sorry”. The service sucked today- I work in a fast paced environment also but get it together girl.
Asked drive thru at the window for a straw, she asked me not to yell at her... Really! You have a headset on, fan on in the window and a freaking highway across the way... Stop taking things personal! I communicated clearly and ensured you heard me.

I am giving an additional star solely due to the kindness of the employee who handed me my order. Unfortunately, my experience with the manager, Bernadette, has consistently been disappointing. She is often unprofessional, displaying passive-aggressive behavior every time I visit. There is no need for such attitude, especially early in the morning. During my most recent visit, she became noticeably rude when I requested stickers for the tops of my iced coffees. While my colleagues and I, who work nearby, have regularly chosen this location for its convenience, we are now considering switching to a different coffee shop due to the consistently poor interaction with this particular manager.
6:55 am Monday morning - ordered 2 dark roast coffees and a latte. The dark roasts were cold and stale. Am I drinking yesterdays coffee? Last order half my pike place roast was actual coffee grounds. Super friendly folks, though.
10 minute wait for a passion tea is ridiculous. 9 at night and three cars in the drive through, lobby empty. There should never be a reason to wait over 10 minutes for a drink. Also, no sense of urgency by the staff, what so ever. I'm sure Howard Schultz would be so happy with the level of service I received.
I done get it. I ask for 3 shots in a tall and it still tastes like water. Ask for extra hot 175 degrees sti only warm. Didn't get stars one day and my app was scanned, called customer service wouldn't do anything. This location is going down in service or chged beans to cheaper.??? Baffled. It's on my way to work. IDK.
Everytime....not just one time, they never add the espresso shot to your beverage. If your gonna charge me then put want im charged in the drink. This is like the 10th time. I'm done with yall
Painfully slow service. 15 minutes for a double tall latte. Seven people working and how it takes this long for one small cup of coffee is pretty unbelievable. 2 staff slowly Making coffee and five staff just milling around doing nothing. I stopped going here because they kept getting my coffee wrong now it just takes forever to get it.
Just went in, the lady that made my drink was rude. The white dude that came after me already got his drink and when I asked where is my drink ... well I guess she did not like that. So when she made my drink she slammed it on the counter , rather than handing it to me . But the lady that rang me up was awesome . Parking situation is horrible. Drive thru is always blocking parking for people that are wanting to go in.
I was hesitant to complain about this one, but I just saw two reviews talking about the ice. I hate too much ice on my coffee because it makes it watery, I just like it cold so I ALWAYS ask for light ice. When I went to this location, I ordered a venti drink and I specifically asked for light ice as usual. I was annoyed by how much ice they put in my drink and I kept wondering: Why would they do that if I specifically asked for light ice? It never happened before, but I see from the other comments that Starbucks basically instructs the baristas to save $$ by giving you less product and more ice. Ridiculous! The coffee is already pricey, my drink was $7.50 and half of it was ice. Very disappointing.
First time at this location and will most likley be the last. I ordered a venti vanilla iced coffee with extra pumps of vanilla. I then was given a drink that clearly looked like blacked ice coffee. I turned to the girl and told her theres no vanilla in it and she states that its at the bottom and has to be shaken. I start to shake it around and proceed to taste it and its clearly still just a black coffee. I would think someone who works at a coffee shop would know that a vanilla coffee would not be dark brown color.
The team is great, but the store is always out of everything. Not sure who does the ordering but I think they need to increase and not worry too much about profit margins/overhead with the product. You are going through it, that's why you are out....
The drive thru guy that help me yesterday was giving attitude and rolling his eyes like a girl. He didn’t warmup my cupcake and we ask for him to please warm it up his answered was “next time tell me when you are ordering” he is very rude. We requested light ice and he didn’t do it either and when we told him he also got mad. That big guy is always rude to men when men don’t flirt with him.
I ordered online for a meeting for 25 people, two travelers packs. They took my money and told me when it would be ready. I drove out there to pick it up before the meeting and they unapologetically informed me that they don’t do that (“travelers packs”)—even after I paid. They guy behind the counter didn’t care one bit. He made no effort to inform me. Wasted my time. So, thanks Buda Starbucks, no coffee for our meeting.

Deb at register was not polite nor did she greet us. She got our order wrong. They ran out of almond milk so they could not replace drink but did refund only half the amount the first time had to go back in to ask about the other half. Which was refunded at that time.
Ordered on app for convenience and when I go to pick up it wasn't ready so of course I wait. After 5 mins of waiting a worker said if you ordered through the mobile app, go reorder at the line, our app was down. Have to walk back out to car to get phone then wait in a line with 5 people in front of me just to have them make my order wrong. So inconvenient! This store needs to get it together! Always out of ingredients, drinks are not made how they are at other stores.
I normally LOVE this location, but recently the service has been just absolutely horrible. Today (august 9, 2021) I went and the service was decent, but as I was drinking I felt something in my mouth, I thought it was caramel but it was A FLY FROM MY DRINK. I would like compensation for that it was absolutely disgusting having to look at a fly that was in my nought that came from my drink. (Other than that the drinks are normally good)
I proceeded inside for the first time and requested an iced coffee. I was never called up to get my beverage. My beverage posed there for 8 minutes, on the countertop. When the guest and I realized what was proceeding we were surprised that they understood what was going on but accomplished not to mention that our drinks were ready. Plus, as I sat there and looked around the floor was so filthy I took a picture. Yours truly, FOOD 🐉
Second time I have come thru the drive thru and my white chocolate mocha is not made right, no sweetener whatsoever, taste like I'm drinking black coffee. 1st time was like ok they messed up, but now twice . No good going to start going to Dutch bros .
Horrible, this location they get my order wrong every single time I order. All I get is refreshers and add peach juice something so simple and I leave disappointed every time. A few minutes a go I ordered a pineapple passion fruit refresher I got a pineapple refresher. Also my egg bites were literally mush as if they were smashed and given to me. Customers pay their working money for this it’s just distasteful. Unfortunately, I am on my way to my job so I can’t turn around, I tried calling and got no answer.
Gave this location few shots they never get my order right. Several female workers are behaving in an unprofessional manner they either give bad attitudes or overly flirt and grossly call customers Babylove and Hon lol getting the orders right from the get go is what will get you better tips not the tongue twisting
First of all im sick cant get out of the car so placed online order but from whenever i pushed drive thru to the checkout it changed and i didnt pay attention to it hey im human made a mistake, but its not gonna cost you nothing to grab my two drinks ur on the clock anyways....after wating for 10-15 minutes for the order in drive thru, i told the lady i was here to pick up order for isaac,she comes back to the window says she dont see it tell her i made it online and she like u didn't say anything at the ordering box but no one answered there was two cars that pulled up as well so i thought it wasn't working..she finally went to get my order when she comes back hands me one and i tell her its two drink just to verify and she like yeah i know but i only have two hands and starts being smart mouth I didn't ask for any of that and I wasn't being rude cause it was my fault for not checking to make sure drive thru button was pushed but there no need for the smart mouth ..but its fine this is why i always go to Dutch now i only went cause my daughter loves Starbucks but dont worry what yall have we can get at Dutch with no attitude or smart mouth...
The drinks itself are always great but they just simply don’t follow customer directions AT ALL.
Whoever was working the 6:30pm shift tonight needs to be fired. Absolutely incapable of taking orders or making drinks. Line wrapped around the building and every order is being handed back as wrong.
This is my third bad review for this location. Why do the baristas never know my order at the drive thru? This is the second time I have been asked “what did you order again” AT THE WINDOW, just to find out my order was charged completely wrong. Even after correcting the drinks which I could have been fine with, they never mentioned to me I was charged incorrectly so I paid more than I needed to and only found out when I looked at the app. This is the SECOND time this has happened to me. I go to this store due to location convenience, but the service is very inconsistent.
Coffee was cold and I was practically forced to give a tip. Ended up going to McDonald’s down the street for fresh hot coffee. Will not return to this Starbucks.
Extremely slow service.. drive thru line barely moves.. Didn't have ingredients to make violet drink. I was standing in line for 30 mins just to not get what I wanted. Is it really that hard to store enough fruit to fulfill the demand? Especially since all the fruit is frozen anyway.. don't exactly understand the difficulty.. I got the dragon drink instead, it was tasty

I feel the perennial pain of the corporatized astroturf that is the Starbucks franchise. The employees endure great feats of strength to work there. But if you can't even be bothered to put cups in a holder or ensure the cup isnt going to burn someone's hand. I can't blame Starbucks because you give crappy service and resent your job. I blame you for taking it out on me and everyone that has to look at your disgusting store that is as unkempt as your service.
It’s a Monday, & I usually don’t got really anything bad to say about Starbucks but today omg I was extremely annoyed first ik it’s Starbucks always a line but it moves pretty quickly, this time it did not AT ALL!!! & when she was taking our order she sounded very unknowledgeable & took forever taking our order. I was so skeptical I asked for a sugar plum cream cheese danish and bacon sandwich and it seemed like they both were cooked in the microwave way too long or they forgot and pushed the microwave again cuz the danish was very crinkled up, hard & soggy and my husband said his sandwich was hard and chewy. I was hopeful the coffee wasn’t messed up too but it looked nice but the coffee wasn’t super bitter and the only thing making it sweet was the caramel. Won’t be going to this Starbucks anytime soon again!
My issue is more about the poor management this store has . Bernadette is the GM and I made an issue with the WOKE rainbow flag they have hanging there just to speak my mind and was quickly shutdown. Furthermore after I contacted the direct manager and spoke with her and she said she would address this issue I recieved a rude call from the GM stating I don’t know her and I don’t know what iam talking about . I think challenging a customer on a complaint is not in policy . I have escalated this to corporate

Woof. This location has been the worst quality of food/drink I’ve ever experienced. I order pretty much the same thing from every Starbucks I go to and this time, the drink was watered down, not even filled all the way, and barely even tasted like coffee (with 4 shots, I feel like that should be impossible). The food was barely warm and almost rubbery? Will not be returning. Dutch bros is right next door with incredible coffee.
The lady in the morning next to the hand out section or something made me feel like a minority. I felt very disrespected. All she did was give me attitude and she wasn’t like that to other people that looked like her . I was only asking if my drink was ready . The fact that I’m a daily customer me and my wife Esmeralda come here everyday and to have this lady be rude to us and ignore the fact that we had placed an order via mobile and still ignored my wife and myself. After my wife mentioned that she was waiting for already 30 min the lady which we did not get her name still ignored our ticket and proceeded to make everyone else’s order. A gentleman who was moping the floor was called over to make my order. The drive through was not full nor the lobby all she had was about 3 orders in which she took care of the walk in customers first then our mobile order. Here is the picture of this rude lady. We have never had a problem with this location at all as the manager knows my wife because she’s a daily customer.

Apparently “CORPORATE” came out with a new rule that if you ask for light ice you’re missing a solid 1/4 of your drink. The response was- “you need to add more milk” Ordered the same drink yesterday and the day before from two different stores and the 3rd day from this location this happens. Very disappointed. Guess this is what you get when you go big brand. Just stay aware. Your $8 cup of coffee needs more milk for an addition $1.25.
The line was long. But not only did my coffee not taste how it’s supposed to it was very watery and all I could taste is espresso, nothing else. I ordered a brown sugar oat-milk espresso, I am from out of town and Houston’s Starbucks would NEVER serve me a water down non tasty drink.
