My visit to get breakfast went very well. I got my order & the food was delicious and hot and fresh. Price total was excellent for the amount of food I got. I will be a repeat customer.
Can we say "late night tacos"? or "Muchie box me please!?" Jack understands his people at ALL his locations. THIS location however, they definately understand bringing value to their customers by offering STILL FRESHLY COOKED FOOD AT NIGHT AND NOT LEFT OVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Went through drive thru with someone real special to me❤ and was a really long order... We got a Jr bacon cheeseburger 7 piece jalapeno poppers Medium curly fries 🍟 Large oreo milkshake and I almost forgot her 2 tacos 🌮 but I did get them and actually got 4 😅 The food was great and the service was excellent gave us exactly what we needed and asked for which was 4 ranch and 4 Buffalo sauce not for me but the person who was with me wanted all that who knows why lol jk just to have extra at home 😂.... All in all great job in everything...
I ordered the 11 dollar special .. Ultimate cheeseburger.. 2 tacos.. Regular fries and drink.. Get full.. And a side of chicken nuggets.. The best at Jack n the box..

I had a great experience here! I went around dinner time on a Saturday. They employees helped me choose the right meal based on what I wanted (I don't come here often). When I got to the window the employee was super cheerful and asking about my night. I'm sad I didn't get his name but I came around 7 and they were both very nice. Even better, i got the spicy chicken and it's SO good! I'll definitely come back here again!

Actually good service. The older black lady is a sweetheart. And the younger people working there are always helpful and respectful. Great job. This has been MY Jack location for almost 20 years. And this is the best its been. Keep it up
It’s been a while since I’ve seen Alex, Today I got the pleasure of seeing him and being served by him in the drive-through very loud ,clear and professional when he speaks, he always make sure that everything’s correct and on point thank you, Alex!!
Jack in the box has never been my favorite spot, but this location here is by my house very convenient and the customer service is amazing for me. It’s very important. The good attitude and friendly personality gets my day started in a positive way and I believe that’s what it’s about in the restaurant industry several people with a smile. Thank you management and team!! I love this place.❤️

Was having trouble with the jacks mobile app. Wouldn’t let me use my points. Staff/manager did the best they can on trying to help me and made sure I walked out happy. Food was very delicious thanks so much for the great customer service.

I had the chicken sandwich it was very good had a great crunch time it the meat was tender and juicy I was very surprised. My wife had the smashed burger and she really liked it aswell, wasn't cooked to death had great flavor. Overall was a great experience.
I ate lunch at this Jack in the Box yesterday. It was my second time there. My Sourdough Jack was fine. It's pretty typical Jack in the Box food. The fries were larger than I remember, and so was my beverage cup. I certainly won't complain about that. As an added bonus, my order was $2-3 cheaper than what I get at the Carl's or Wendy's across the street. Also, the service was great. The employees are quite friendly too.
Their service is really friendly and they do get your orders right all the time. Their food is good sometimes they do under cook the chicken sandwiches.

The burger, curly fries, and 3 jalapeños were good. The 2 tacos were not good. The lettuce tasted like it went bad.
It's a jack in the box. Don't have anything bad to say about it. They have the same menu items as all the others but sometimes the drive thru can get busy.

Heard about the Mac n cheese bites online, went to local Jack and didn't see them on the menu so I asked. Yep, they did have them. Ok they were pretty good, but not as good as the ones Del Taco had a few years ago. Wish they'd bring those back
For being 5:30 am in the morning I was greeted with a genuine good morning, not a had to get up early to be at work morning. The service was fast and descent size breakfast burrito and at checkout a very nice have a nice day. If in the area again this early, I would happily return here again.
Jack in the box isn't what it once was, their prices have gone up too much for me , what ever happened to the 99 cent tacos? Plus they quit the Bonus Jack. Then, no more shakes like in the past, don't care much for them anymore, they got some good deals, but not enough to make me want to go there much.
Employees are very polite & professional. Now, if we can just work on those little shrunken burgers and buns that are tasting more like cardboard these days.🤢🤮 I literally only eat the side items on the menu now.
My order was wrong and since the line were long didnt feel like going in to correct order, besides their staff is short staffed and they are doing the best they can and I appreciate that, we found other people who enjoyed meal.
Customer service is rather lack luster, they forgot food and the drive thru was long so we tried walking in since there was a sign saying they were open for take out only. But the doors were locked , their phone is disconnected so dont bother trying to call since they wont pick up. Took us knocking on the door to notice we didnt get all of our food. I suggest going to a different location to eat.

OMG their new spicy popcorn chicken is to die for! However They always get my order incorrect even though the screen and recipt show it correctly. I ordered a loaded tacos and got the regular taco box. Ordered no mayo (allergic) they put mayo. I order loaded tacos and they put loaded tater tots. It's NEVER correct.
The employees were nice but the wait was unbelievable for only having 3 people in line in the drive through. It shouldn't take 30 min for 3 cars to order and get "fast food"
This place's payment system is always down or updating. Especially late-night and early-morning. There is no point in being a 24 hour restaurant when you're unable to serve costumers at all times.
Mom & I went, 1st of all, they never asked if it was to go, she put everything in bags, we ate there. My mom's fries were missing from her combo & I had to back & ask for our drinks. I had to be buzzed in to use the restroom and it was awful! Smelled bad & no toilet paper was available. We had to wipe our own table to eat. It was only the cashier & the cook there.
Ordered a burger with no sauce only cheese and bacon. When I got home I saw it had sauce and no cheese.
I ordered a hashbrown and it wasn't cooked all the way. I tried to go inside but all the doors were locked. Yet there were customers inside. I would've went thru the drive thru again but the line was too long. I definitely won't be going back.
Once again did not get what i ordered. Should have been a burger but was given egg instead. I quit going there a couple years ago because 5 of 5 orders were wrong. Decided to try again. Still wrong. Two stars because the staff were friendly and it was clean.
I've watched this location decline in service and food over the past few years. We were told to pull up to park and they would bring to food to us. My kids ordered jumbo jack, chicken suggest, and plain cheesvurh3r with values fries. I ordered the supreme breakfast croissant with value fries. We Dat waiting for 10 minutes before i sent my son inside and when he came back he said our food was just sitting there. The supreme breakfast croissant was hardly bigger than the palm of my hand and they forgot the mayonnaise packets and Ketchup I requested. They gave me hot sauce and a ranch packet. The fries tasted like the oil was old and the fired were soggy. This wasn't even during a busy lunch time or anything. Every once in a while I'll give this jack a chance, and everytime I keep getting disappointed by either the long wait time x them forgetting something in my order, or the quality of food. Every single time it's an issue with one of these. There used to be a young African American gentleman thst worked here, and when he was there I KNEW our food would be on point. Ever since he left it's gone downhill. If you frequented this establishment enough like we did, you'll know exactly who I'm talking about. Hebwas amazing.
Placed a simple order at drive thru. Both CHEESEBURGERS were served no cheese... The food is expensive and not getting what you paid for is not cool. Also, I was asked to wait in the parking lot for my food. At least make the order correctly if that's what's asked of your customers, but now I remember why I don't stop here. Go figure the QR code for the survey doesn't work.
I drive a big rig and they wouldn't even take my order I told them I cant fit in drive thru I have no choice bit to working. I hope corporate sees this and takes action. Either way dont go here.

Check your orders people even if they tell you what is in the bag as they pass it to you. It will still be incorrect. 2 times have they forgot what you ordered and you don't realize it until I get home Incompetent crew. Can't tell their butt from a hole in the ground . And their supposed to be 24 hours another lie they close at 2 to 500 am
Update 5/1/22 1:25pm The restaurant is completely closed they have trash cans blocking the drive thru. Seems like they are always closed no matter what day or time I decide to go. Night time crew screws up orders most of the time
Worst Jack in the box ever. wouldn't reccomend it to anyone. went three days in a row for lunch and the first day went well but the second day I order a Jr. Bacon cheeseburger without mayonnaise and it still had it. The third day I ordered the same and they gave it to me without mayonnaise this time but didn't put bacon. Such a waste of money. I suggest the McDonald's or Carls Jr. Nearby for anyone in the area looking for cheap eats.

Foods cold all the time and they take forever. Go else where if you want hot food I was just there again 3 days ago took forever and food by so miracle it was almost hot enough. If you disagree post up why.?
Went through drive thru at 10 pm on 10/13/2017. The total was $8 and some change, paid with a hundred dollar bill. The girl gives me my money in a hurry and tries to give me my food asap. I count the money and see that instead of $91 cash back, she gives me $71. So I tell her and she says "ok", pulls the other $20 out of her drawer and gives it to me. Seemed a little snakey, because she didn't even hesitate to give it to me. If it were me, I'd be w about my drawer being short. She probably does this to unassuming people, without them realizing it.
One of the employees pulled the trash in the lobby an a BIG roach came running off the side of the can towards me and my son . At least 3 employees seen this and didn't say anything to me at all. We put the food in the trash and will not be returning .
OVER PRICED food compared to other Jack N Box locations. 1 small squared hashbrown is 2.00 dollars!!! A chicken sandwich is 2.00 dollars as well. You can find cheaper and more reasonable prices at any other jack n box. DO NOT GO!
I had to downgrade my rating on this place due to the fact that when I was going to the drive-thru, of course what do I get nothing but cold French fries. How difficult is it to prepare hot french fries for your customers and why do the employees feel that it's okay to give out cold food! I blame this entirely on all management because if they are being trained that this is okay then it falls upon management! It is true that stuff flows downstream, however training comes from the top! If you can't train people the right way all the time then you shouldn't be a trainer or a manager or anything above anyone else and then claim that you're not getting paid enough! I just like to add as of today July 15th 2024 my fries were still served cold! Doesn't matter how much you pay these people they'll never get it right and I blame management and anybody else who trains these people.
I sent a team member to get the food for lunch and came back really mad. The guy in his 50s working at the drive-thru forgot to give change back when asked to do so, He gets angry and tossing the change yells to my guy saying "get out of my drive-thru" . As a final note: fries were cold and smelled like old grease!!
Placed a mobile order during regular business hours. It was about 9:30 am. Arrived to the restaurant and nobody was responding at the drive thru. We pulled up to the window because we thought it was odd, they had absolutely no signage saying they were closed and didn't see anyone at the window. We decided to knock and an employee named Gabby came to the window annoyed that we didn't magically know they were closed with no signs to tell us this. She just opened the window and said "yeah we're closed" we asked then how do we get a refund because you guys already took our money through the app. She just said "you have to call. Then funny thing is she closes the window and goes back to sitting down and eating with a coworker. Reached out to customer service the same day, it's been 4 days and still have not received a refund or response. If you are going to place a mobile order do not do it at this location!
Horrible customer service. I don't know the name of the guy that did the drive thru today at 10/11/23 1pm, but I Ordered a root beer float, I asked for less ice cream more soda. He hands me a rootbeer float with 85 percent ice cream. I asked him if he can just take out some of the ice cream because I wanted more of the soda. He gives me shakes his head, gives me a horrible look and says, " what do you want!?" I just repeated myself, and he goes to the soda machine, doesn't take out any ice cream, instead he just sprinkles in a little bit of soda, I just accepted the drink maybe he doesn't understand directions.
Every time I go to this location I have a bad experience, such as rude employees , old food that looks and tastes like it's been sitting out for the whole day and parts of my order missing. It's safe to say that I almost never get fresh food when I order from this location. If I could give 0 stars I would, this location deserves no stars
Rude drive thru associate. Had an attitude when I needed to make a substitution to my order. Said it was “ already made and couldn’t be done” which isn’t true because I’ve order this same thing before. Sounds like they were just too lazy to make my food fresh to order.
I hate going here cause they always mess up the order since they never have the correct bread for the burgers on their menu. I usually grab a number 1 and it comes with a certain bun but either they never have it or they didn’t learn that it doesn’t take regular cheap bun. workers need to step their game up or get replaced.
Just left the drive through and had to drive to another location. Once I pulled up to the drive through window I was told thks for choosing jacks but we are temporarily closed. They had two vehicles there but there closed. Crazy!!!open sign on, middle of the day but there closed. Ive never experienced such bulls**t in my life.
Wish, the employees actually listen to my order. I’m lactose intolerant and my husband is allergic to cheese. The couple of times we have gone there we always tell them “No cheese on!” And even confirm with them at the window that it doesn’t have cheese but then when I get home my food has cheese. Ruins my night. And I try to call the restaurant but they never answer or the phone is disconnected. Definitely poor customer service.
This is by far the worst Jack in the box in the Colton area. I ordered food to go and got some of the worst tasting stale chicken sandwiches ever. The fries tasted like they were sitting there since the day before. Stay clear of this place and take the drive to the La Cadena location.
No lids for small cups. Soda machine was filthy. All the tables were dirty yes all of them. not only were my fries cold and tasted old I ordered curly fries and got regular ones because the guy wasn't paying Attention when I ordered. The ATM is broken without a sign on it and is stealing people's money then when asked they inform the people it's broken. The bathroom is nasty the sing super dirty and the trash is over flowing and the toilet is also nasty.
Every time I have gone here, they have messed up at least one. Whether they forget the sauce or they completely forget an item. Not willing to give munchie meals at the same price of 9:00pm at 8:55pm. Why do u continue going? Usually after I drink.
If there's one thing that is GURANTEED about this place if you go late at night is they will forget certain things you ordered or just give you someone else's bag. Shame they're the only nearby place that's open late
Jack in the box no matter how well the staff works and interacts with customers there food is not well prepared. It is not worth the money other than their tacos. Those are good especially for the price.
***⚠️WARNING ⚠️*** AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! They are notoriously slow and have bad service. If you work around the area and looking for a lunch spot, this place ain't it. They manage to get orders wrong always, have a horrible system where you'll have to wait extremely long times of 10-15 minutes, eating away at your lunch break, and this time around they forced everyone to up-charge by saying they ran out of fries and could only do curly fries.
Somehow I get parked everytime I come to this Jack, it doesn’t matter what I order, but for some reason the customer who orders 8-10 bags of food never gets parked, and then 2-3 cars that got there after me get their food before me, I don’t understand how that makes any sense but at this jack in the box that’s apparently how they operate.
This location is horrible. Always get told to pull forward and they will bring my food out. Why am I pulling forward for two tacos at lunch time! Homeless always approach me while in the drive thru waiting for my food. Then I get my taco with no sauce in them! WTH I've been buying tacos for over 20 years they come with sauce on them.....you guys need to do better.........
Got s few munchie meals and they were okay but my egg rolls were completely raw. Not even a second in the fryer, just half frozen and white all around. Not sure what they are thinking from serving those

Employees missed up 2 people's orders including ours. They were focused on the drive thur more than their customers in the lobby. We waited 5 mins just for them to come back to the counter so we can ask for a ranch.
Nothing against the staff, customers are forced to use the self serve kiosk. They will not take your order ,you have to do it yourself . Shame .
The adult man (40s maybe) in the drive-thru is unnecessarily reactive. I wonder if it is the same man others are describing in their reviews. No employee should ever take abuse from customers; however, if a customer is being polite and trying to resolve a misunderstanding, a customer service person should have the skill set to listen so the situation can be fully understood before reacting. This man appears to lack the ability to manage his stress and anger and clearly does not possess basic conflict resolution skills.
I've been here about three times this week. All different days and different hours every single time I've gone they always say that there system is down I find that hard to believe but whatever like if you don't got workers then why are you even "open". Not to mention that there rude I get that working in fast food or a restaurant can be stressful sometimes because I used to work in one so i completely understand but why treat other ppl that are talking to you nicely an attitude.
At around 3:25 pm today November 2th I went to the drive thru to order a chicken sandwich with fries and a soda. Server Ely instructed me to park in the from "to have my food freshly made". After waiting for 15 minutes I proceeded to go inside to inquire about my order the female cashier asked what was my order. When I told her my order she informed me that they were still working on my order (after 15 minutes) she rushed to the back to put a rush on my order. In other words they forgot to make my order. Very sadly dissatisfied
Whoever that pregnant lady is she had the biggest attitude.. she ignored me the whole time I was there. Did drive thru orders and I was the only fine in there.. once she did my order she didn’t even give it to me she left it in the back someone else had to give me my food minutes later. After she made my drink she just walked away no straw or nothing.. very rude .. no the first time I have experienced this with her or this facility. If you don’t speak Spanish the don’t help you
There drive thru service is extremely horrible! The management needs to retrain the late night shift or rehire a new team of employees who want to work and be able to show up to work. There people who works late nights and for Jack box to be close due to lack of staffing issues. It's bad when the cook come the register to correct the order. I can keep saying more. I think you guys got the drift. Going to take my few dollars to The Del, there drive thru is open 24/7 Until Jack in Box gets it to together. Update since last review... New staff. But if you are ordering a combination meal with a coffee. Ask them if they have it ready meaning the coffee made if not they will charge you a upgrade at the drive thru window if you request a small drink will ordering. That's how they get you.... Because they will tell you have to wait 10 mins for coffee to be brewed. Like C'mon people are on their lunch break and they shouldn't have to wait. regardless the circumstances.
Just left from there. The lady taking orders at the drive thru was rude. The line was long it was around 1 pm. So most lunches were over. People we’re leaving the line cause it was taking so long. When we ordered we asked for two separate orders and we’re told they couldn’t do that cause they were short handed ?? Duhh. You took one long order so what’s the deal. Got too the window and when we received food I asked for another sweet and sour sauce. They only gave two. Anyone who has order the egg rolls knows it takes in sauce per egg role. At least for me it does. Any way she gave a hard time on giving me another sauce. I asked too speak too a manager and was told no I couldn’t. This is now the third time myself and con workers have had issue with this Jack in the Box So quests what jack. You just lost a long time customer over this.
On May 14, 2025, at 3:30 AM, I was at the location and spoke with the woman working there. She mentioned that her machines were going to go down. I don't understand why she would say that when the store is open until 4:00 AM. I'm sure the owners of the store would not be happy about it, especially since she seemed eager to leave early. Just because she wants to go home doesn't mean she should shut down her employer's business. Owner, if you are reading this, you might want to consider hiring a different worker for your night shift.
I went into the jack n the box on mt Vernon about 10pm..and the door was unlocked cause the drive thru was very long. Allie was very rude demanding saying we are closed inside!! I said the door was unlocked and she was arguing with me saying it was locked I said how did I get in if the door was locked...I sais ok ill go back through the drive thru she said no u won't cause ill refuse u service I said oh yeah OK then ill call tomorrow to talk to your manager and corporate. Allie needs to be removed from this job asap!! Her customer service is insanely horrible !!! Something needs to be done!!
The drive through means drive through not park at the curb and wait 15 minutes for fast food.... not good spot for work lunch
Horrible experience the young unshowered lady Alize S at the window was highly rude uneducated and very disrespectful! We paid a good amount of cash for such a bad experience. On my way way to work she had the order wrong and wanted us to wait in the front when there was no line ! When we did did finally get our order everything was incorrect and not fresh an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone! Truly a place I would never visit again! Ps I ordered a teriyaki bowl and was told they had no extra teriyaki!
Edit: Brenda did reach out to me and offered to give me a replacement meal. I do not frequent this location so I most likely won’t take it but I do appreciate that she reached out. Thank you Brenda. Instead of gossiping at work you should focus on your jobs. Other people use the online order because they are busy and don’t want to be waiting around. I had to wait 8 extra minutes because the girl who was gossiping forgot to work and cook my tacos. Then the guy who did cook them did not let the tacos drain and gave me some greasy tacos. Take pride in your work even if you’re just selling tacos, this is gross imagine you can’t even make tacos right….all you have to do is let the oil drain….
The audacity of the employees here . How are YOU (the girl with the braces) going to mess up on my order and ask me to go thru the drive thru again because you don’t know how to take a simple order. TWO ITEMS is all I ordered some fries and chicken sandwich and she messed that up. She even repeated the order back to me while taking the order only to STILL input it incorrectly and charge me for tacos that I didn’t ask for. Train your employees better! I shouldn’t have to go out of my way for your mess ups !

on 8/29/2025 at 10:59 am I place an order 1191 S Mt Vernon Colton, CA 92324 I order 5 PC crispy chicken well done. I recently ordered food from Jack in the Box and was extremely disappointed with the quality of what I received. The chicken tenders I was given were undercooked, poorly prepared, and inedible. Please see the attached photo for reference. This was not only disappointing but also concerning from a food safety perspective. I expect properly cooked, quality food when I order from your restaurant, and this experience was far below the standard I associate with Jack in the Box. I would appreciate a response regarding this matter and some form of resolution. Thank you for your attention.
Officially upset. I am always pleasant with the staff as someone who has worked customer service. Waiting by the side of the door for my order so their times can remain low is not what upsets me, but on top of waiting patiently my chicken strips were cold and tasted burnt as if they double fried them to reheat old food. I would post a picture but I unfortunately spat it out trying to give them a chance. Paying $15 for a combo that I didn't eat is unfortunate.
Aside from being your average Jack n the box... what makes them stand out is their stupidity in processes. Their protocol is to have people wait for their order right next to an entrance in the drive thru exit. This forces everyone in the drive thru line to have to wait to exit. On top of the ever increasing cost, food seems to stay mediocre.
