Exploring the area with a family was such a lovely experience. We started at a little coffee shop that serves affordable, tasty flavored beverages. Inside, we even captured a fun family selfie, and the friendly staff were happy to answer questions and help us feel pleased. We also joined a small workshop where we learned about gardening and planting seeds. The kids were excited, and we’re looking forward to seeing how this new hobby grows for them. Just outside, we followed a walking path filled with easy‑to‑spot artwork, creating a cheerful, stroller‑friendly art stroll the whole family enjoyed. We didn’t spot the many androids this time, but that simply gives us a fun reason to return—and maybe explore a little more with Google Search on our next visit.
Visited during winter break and had a good time exploring the Google Visitor Experience. We took the shuttle to the Canopy area and then went inside the visitor center. My kids enjoyed walking around the open spaces, and inside there were many Google Pixel devices on display to try out. The visitor center is clean, modern, and easy to explore. The store has a nice selection of Google merchandise, and the café is open to the public, which makes it a convenient stop for families. It’s a quick visit, but a fun way to see a bit of Google’s campus without needing a badge. Worth stopping by if you’re in Mountain View.
I have been to this place two or three times. I think it's suitable for the whole family to visit. You can take a walk, ride a bicycle, or jog. You can also see Google's new products and listen to the introduction from on-site personnel. You can also buy souvenirs. In the autumn afternoon, sitting outside the restaurant for a cup of coffee with a piece of cake or dessert will be very enjoyable. There are many scenic spots here that are suitable for visiting and walking. The works of these artists are really impressive.
The experience center is a Google Store where you can view, experience, and purchase Google products. The store has all types of merchandise both tech related as well as regular items such as notebooks, hoodies, water bottles, tumblers etc. the second section has all the latest technology products from phones, watches, earbuds, as well as their doorbell cameras. There are a few dedicated customer support desks set up primarily for helping the customers with their queries related to tech products. The parking for visitor experience center is slightly away however they have a free shuttle that runs every minutes between the car park and the store which is convenient. The walk is also not very long if you prefer to walk around and take pictures with various Google and Android signboards
The Google Visitor Center is a beautiful and welcoming place to explore. The indoor kids’ play area is excellent — clean, creative, and very well designed. It’s a perfect spot for children to play and explore while adults relax and enjoy the café. The surrounding park is peaceful and beautifully maintained, with plenty of space to walk and take photos. A great family-friendly destination in Mountain View.
I recently visited the Google Headquarters in California — such a beautiful and inspiring experience! The campus is vibrant with lush green parks, a relaxing atmosphere, and a great food court where you can enjoy coffee, pizza, and more. There’s even a store where you can buy Google products. Truly an amazing place to explore and get inspired! 🌿☕
Absolutely beautiful. The campus is huge and there is a Google store to buy products from and there's a cafe to have food. I wanted to try many things from there but unfortunately I had had food before reaching this place. The washrooms are beautiful inside, recommended to visit the restrooms just to see the ambience 🤭🤭. There are cycles but only for the employees. The Visitor parking is huge with electric charging stations inside. We get a bus ride from Visitor center parking to the Google store where we can view different buildings and see employees going around.
The Google Visitor Center is a cool, quick visit if you’re in Silicon Valley. There’s a small but interesting display about Google’s history and innovations, plus a gift shop full of fun Google gear. The outdoor area with the famous Android statues is perfect for photos. It’s not a huge museum, but it’s clean, well organized, and worth a stop if you’re nearby. I miss the previous showcases of products, history of Google and other exhibits that were there at the visitor center a decade ago. That was so much more fun than today's visitor center but still a fun stop for Tech Fans. The architecture master pieces alone are worth visiting though, hence the five stars!!!
The Google Store in Silicon Valley offers an exceptional retail experience that perfectly reflects Google’s innovative spirit. The store features a well-curated selection of the latest Google products, from Pixel devices to Nest smart home technology, all presented in an inviting and modern environment.
Had a nice experience at the Google Visitor Experience :) Plenty of parking spot. Food and drink are alright with reasonable price. Nice and safe place for a walk/bike while exploring one of big Tech companies in the Bay. One minor disappointment and also FYI is that the bicycles are for Google Employees only! But overall, we had good time here.
My friend raved about this place so we popped in when we were next door trying to get the phone fixed. The cafe had a nice open nature feel. Friendly and super fast service. Food- All day egg: $10 4/5 sandwich was a bit sweet. Fresh side of fruit was good. Winter roasted veg salad: $10 4/5 tasty healthy salad. Wish I asked for dressing on the side. Food was tasty, good place to pop in for a light snack. I was hungry again within the hour. 😆
Starting as Search Engine Project ( BackRub) of Stanford University students, Larry Page & Sergey Brin in 1995, the Google was founded in 1998. Now it is a leading innovative technology company having its Headquarters at Mountain View. Has many large and small buildings, spread all over, the latest being the Gradient Canopy, built on inspiration from that of NVidia in Santa Clara. The complex , apart from colourful themes, creative work spaces has recreation facilities, cafeteria and parks.Has Gift Shop and Visitor Centre; but, the movement is restricted. We had a short time visit to their campus. See customers dissatisfaction on customer's care, contact difficulties and performance of the Google Maps areas.Surprisingly, Google ( owner) itself does not respond to the reviews on Googleplex. Management must take remedial actions to resolve these issues.
We stopped by This giant Canopy of Google Visitor Experience building on Sunday. It's nice place, beautiful building & neighborhood. Inside the store is most display Google products, but much simple display than Apple store if you compare. There is no showcase for media, something you can play with while you're there. I wish they could do more than just display products! Parking is closed by & free. Cafeteria inside is nice and good food! Overall, Google need do more activities in their major store in the heart of Silicon Valley! Otherwise, what the waste for a giant nice building!
Maybe just me but visitor beware: If you do purchase something in the cafe they will include a 20% automatically. I tried to see if there was a sign because it’s one thing to know about it and then purchase but I didn’t see anything. The food and drink offerings are great, but I don’t like being surprised by unexpected charges.
Well, one would assume that you'd get some history about the company and the latest tech and developments in a Google visitor center. But NO, the experience was rather disappointing. The staff was nice and the visit somehow organized. But it started off a bit confusing with finding the visitor parking. Once found, there is a shuttle taking you to the visitor center. But we waited 10 minutes until the shuttle left just to find out that we could just have walked there in less than 10 minutes. They let you scan a QR code for a map and self guided tours, but the map is just the building where you're at anyway. So the experience center is basically a Google store with some merch and the products you'd find anywhere. The store is nice, but nothing special. Then there's the cafe, it was kind of nice, but not very interesting. The coffee was not good. The popup store was tiny and had nothing Google related. The Huddle was basically just like a living room (actually the entrance to the Huddle) and not very special. As there were no events going on, there was nothing more to do. There's a self guided tour option for an architecture tour (which basically goes around the visitor center and to the parking) or the arts tour. Both not super interesting. So while we enjoyed the time, it stayed far behind our expectations. The best thing to see is the store. If you think it's worth it going there for a shop, go for it, otherwise you can just skip that experience.
The Google Visitor Experience is a flop, despite its grand-sounding label. It wasn't worth the 20 minutes it took to walk there and back from a parking garage blocks away, let alone driving out of our way to get there. The imposing modern sprawl of the Gradient Canopy building built expectations, but it's just a big office building we couldn't enter, with the Experience - a store and cafe - tacked on one side. If you're excited by Google hardware you might enjoy the store. There's also a tiny shop with uninteresting local products. The best thing about it is the outdoor art, and it isn't that great - six pieces next to the building, only one of which - Quantum Meditation II, a semitransparent woman - I found a bit clever. Hosts at blue stands are scattered around the area, and are pleasant enough, but don't communicate enthusiasm about the Experience (and I don't know how they could). I asked one what to see, but he didn't know about a history exhibit that one reviewer mentioned. Mountain View has got a lot worth visiting. This wasn't.
