I recently spent some holiday time in the delightful village of Nesso. Nesso is on the lakeside of Lake Como. The village is wonderful full of quaint back streets revealing beautiful glimpses of Lake Como below the village. During my stay I regularly visited Bar Verigaa. This bar and adjoining shop are as delightful as the village. It is the hub of the local community; the bar is busy with locals and travellers alike. Both and made welcome by the hosts Veronica & Micky. These two are also involved in organising local events and festivals. They were superb. Prices in the bar and shop are exceptionally reasonable as they are priced for the local community. If you are visiting or just passing through Nesso please give Bar Verigaa a visited, I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed.

Superbe atmosphère dans ce petit bar/alimentation de la commune de Nesso. Loin des touristes, l'ambiance y est chaleureuse. Lieu de vie du quartier où on parle italien et où l'on peut s'imprégner pleinement de l'ambiance locale. À ne pas manquer !
A fantastic little bar and shop. Very friendly family service. Quality produce at good prices. Very mellow,quiet part of the village. Join locals for great coffee, aperitifs and freshly made nibbles. Proper Italian village life! Really lovely.
This is my local bar and I could not recommend it more - great beers, great piadinas, great coffee, and great company! The family that runs the bar are kind and compassionate and go the extra mile for their community putting on fun events that both locals and tourists can partake. We're lucky to have them and this bar in Nesso. 10+ stars!
Only had a beer (+ huge basket of crips, courtesy of the landlord, thank you!) here after cycling in the area...what a little gem, I definitely want to visit again. It is quiet, atmospheric and very welcoming. The only 'downside' is the crazy amount of steps when you start your ascent at Nesso main street :) but at least you have earned your reward. Must mention that this cafe is right on the Strada Regia, so great for ramblers too.
Best spot in Nesso to get a coffee or a drink. The staff is incredibly friendly as well as all the locals. We came back every day on our trip to Lake Como. A must visit if you are in Nesso!
Eingebettet ins italienische Leben haben wir und unsere kleine Tochter uns in dieser gemütlichen und autentischen Bar einfach nur wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber und (Schwieger-)Mutter sind einfach nur liebenswert. Wir können diesen Ort nur wärmstens empfehlen und werden die Leute vermissen!
Perhaps the freshest panini I've ever had (the tomatoes tasted freshly plucked from someone's backyard garden) -- plus spectacular views all the way up on winding cobblestone pathways. Filled with locals, chatter, and laughter in a stunning location.

Das ist DIE typische italienische Bar. Geführt von einem Ehepaar. Sehr familär. Essen lecker. Total unkompliziert bei Sonderwünschen.

Petit bar et épicerie dans la commune de Nesso, où nous étions directement plongés dans une atmosphère chaleureuse. Nous sommes allés tous les jours après nos balades autour du lac. Une ambiance très agréable, les gérants sont d’une gentillesse incroyable! Merci beaucoup pour ces agréables moments à Nesso!
So stellen wir uns eine gemütlich italienische Bar vor. Netter Chef der den Klapptisch mit zwei Aperol ( inkl. Chips für 7€ ) einfach auf die schmale Straße stellt und man selber setzt sich auf die alten Stufen der Gasse. Herrlich, mehr braucht es nicht!

It is a very cozy place with excellent service. Even though I only stopped in for a coffee, a glass of wine, and some chips, it was a great time to relax for a while. I also met some wonderful local people. I highly recommend it

Un grazioso bar, pulito e ordinato, di un piccolo borgo con una piacevole atmosfera di paese. Veronica e Michele persone squisite e gentilissime. Adiacente al bar vi è un alimentari con tutti i beni di prima necessità e ottimi salumi e formaggi!
