***** THIS PLACE IS AMAZING ***** From the owner to the chef, floor staff, bar staff and the food EVERYTHING is that of a great restaurant. I've eaten here probably 15 times in an 8 week period during my stay. I'm a seasoned traveller, and have eaten in many places, I would rate this as one of my favourites. The menu is imaginative, tasty, greay portion size, good looking and I feel is worth every dollar! The staff there are attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the food, and boy does the food taste good. Every dish I had was amazing and those that I didn't have and seen being served, looked just as good. If you are in New City or even New York, this has to be on the cards, if you are a foodie or just want a decent resturant to go to.

Although we have eaten in a few times, we primarily do take out (either to have food while we watch football... or our then baby, now toddler). We have gotten every standard taco option and love the variety and the flavors are fantastic (the only option we didn't rave over the first time we had it was the chicken which was still very good). There Carrot Cake is a must buy whenever it is on the menu (to the point of making special trips just for that), their Skirt Steak Torta is phenomenal (maybe even better than their tacos), and their mango wasabi guacamole is a go to when we need to bring something to a gathering. And that's not even mentioning their specials (such as crab empanadas) which always look amazing (and the ones we have been able to try have tased amazing). However, the best review i can give is from my father-in-law, who is known in our family for typically complaining about the cost of the food (especially "fancy" burgers). He purchased Bison Burger (a special) and when asked about what he thought commented that it was quite good without once complaining about it being overpriced. We're very fortunate to live such a short distance away because it makes them an easy go to, though they're worth traveling for as well.

Food, Service, and Atmosphere were all 5 stars! First off, the staff were very friendly, attentive and I appreciated the open and welcoming atmosphere that they gave off! They made sure we had everything we needed and more, checking on us and often giving us a glance in case we needed anything else. The food was very filling but even after ordering Nachos, Birria Tacos, Tacos with Black Angus Skirt Steak, and Arroz con Tres Leches, we felt amazingly satisfied. The Nachos we felt could've had a little more chorizo but the chips themselves were very Crunchy. We also ordered one Jarrito, one Sangria, and Pineapple Agua Fresca which were all refreshing. We were curious about the Pineapple Fresca as it tasted like it was straight Pineapple juice. The price we also felt was a lot for what felt like a small but it was delicious and refreshing nonetheless. The Sangria on Wednesdays is half off which almost made us order two but we held off as we were all set. The architecture was beautiful and almost felt authentic, I loved the feel of the open kitchen concept as we saw the staff working, laughing, conversing, and it looked like they genuinely liked their jobs. Not one person was standing around even when we were the only 2 in the entire dining area. Which changed in a matter of 10 minutes the dining room filled with other customers. The customer quickly sat themselves and 1 needed an extra chair for their party of 5 which the employee quickly pulled from somewhere which was great as no other table or chairs were missing from other tables. On top of all that they also do Door Dash and to-go orders. We would recommend going here if you haven't already as this is our now go-to spot for all things Mexican. The birria tacos are to die for—perfectly tender, flavorful, and comforting. And the steak torta? Hands down the best we’ve ever had, anywhere. Not that they need another 5 star review to help get their business but here’s one anyway! This place is outstanding. Had their short rib arepa the other night and was truly taken aback by how flavorful and tender it was. My husband is a vegetarian and often times the selections for him feel more like an after thought but not here—his cauliflower tacos were creative, beautifully presented and tasty. The guacamole is done right with bright flavors and great chunks of avocado and the watermelon agua Fresca was so good we got another to go.

Unreal...By far my favorite taco place. They never miss here. Everything on the menu is so good and that's not sarcastic you really can not go wrong here. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE SPECIALS!!! I've been here quite a few times and have tried a lot of them but this arepa was insane I didn't want it to end. The prices are definitely on the higher side put the portions are generous and quality for that price point is a steal. Amazing thing going on in the kitchen here so do not hesitate to come here and definitely try as much as you can.

The food is good. Staff is very nice. The empanada shell is so good. Everything is made in-house I believe. The birria Ramen is what I expected. We'll definitely be back to try the other stuff on the menu. By the way, if you ever stop by, don't forget to ge the lemongrass iced tea. It was very refreshing.

honestly, this is the best food i have ever had and definitely #1 in New York! From the staff to the cooks, this restaurant is THE BEST. Every staff member makes you feel cozy and at home. The food is delicious delicious delicious!!!! Many times i feel yelling “BRING THE CHEF OUT!” because it is AMAZING!!!!!!! Seriously, this place is extremely great. Reminds me a lot of LA flavor. Want food that makes your toes curl and your eyes roll back? EAT HERE!!!

Found an article about this Taqueria and drove an hour to get there. Have been back 2 times since! The food is amazing! Seasonal specials are creative and delicious. I love the warm tomatillo salsa, the tuna tacos are simply the best, choice of 2 guacamole, cod tacos delicious, the special gazpacho soup with shrimp ceviche was incredible and very unique. Coconut carrot cake, enough for two, if they offer it, get it. Sweet staff and cute restaurant. Will be back many times!

Come hungry because you’ll want to order everything!! Also save room for dessert because they have some great options. The mango wasabi guac was great, and it was a nice size. I would try the cauliflower tacos even if you don’t love cauliflower, they had lots of flavor. And the carrot cake was perfection. The Oreos were also a great order if you like cookies! The staff was kind and very helpful and you can tell the food was made with love and intention.

My wife and I were in the area so I could get an X-ray. We were super hungry and found this place on Find Me Gluten Free app. It was highly rated and only 2 minutes away from where we were. We knew we wanted a place highly rated for being safe for folks who need to eat gluten free. We came in and the music was blaring. We asked the kind person if they could turn it down a little and they did. This allowed us to feel comfortable to eat and meant the world to us. I got a mango Fresca out of this world delicious. We ordered guacamole and they gave us gluten free chips. I got the carnitas tacos without cilantro and my wife got the birria tacos. Both were gluten free - despite the menu not stating it. We ordered a large side of sweet potatoes that were out of this world. And because we ordered two tacos between 12pm-3pm we got a free side of rice and beans. Everything was out of this world delicious highly recommend and when we come back to the area, we will be back! Ask about their gluten free dessert. We ordered one to go- cannot comment as we haven’t tried it yet but can assume it will be amazing

This is a very beautiful and quaint spot. The tacos actually exceeded my expectations and the service was amazing. I had the coconut shrimp tacos which were amazing and the sauce was so good. The sangria was also fruity and nice. I'll definitely be back. My partner also enjoyed his meal.

Best taco spot I've been to in a long while. Modern twist and absolutely delicious. Super fresh meats and fish and guacamole. Love that the chef/owner is at the grill every day. Great service. My go-to lunch spot.

They opened today. Wow! This place was great. The food was phenomenal. Simple fresh ingredients combined to make a truly tasty taco. The menu has some decent variety with about 10 styles of taco to get. I spoke with the owner and he said he plans to grow. I went with a couple of friends and it was great to mix them up and split them. The home made guac was excellent as well. Well done Craft Taqueria! I can't wait to see how the place evolves.

This Taqueria serves up some tasty Mexican dishes. The Birria tacos are loaded with meat and served with a side dish of what seemed to be liquid broth with Cilantro. The sauce didn’t add flavor to the tacos. We also ordered Cod Tacos and it was fried to perfection. The guacamole was very tasty. Service was good, our server was attentive.
