Santiago really knows how to make some fresh pizza!! Perfect size slice for the price!!
Love the pizza here. Quality. Thick crust. Generous portions. Reasonable price. One of my favorite lunch places.
Best pizza in the neighborhood and very fast delivery! Staff is very friendly and provides great service. This is our go-to spot.

Our preferred pizza place- every New Yorker's gotta have one, and George's is ours. Come in here for a classic slice or pie- that's what they do best, and it's all you need
I go there a lot eating there is much better than getting delivery. But hot and out of the oven the pizza is delicious. It's also huge slices that fill you up.
Excellent pizza!! I have not been to George’s in five years . It did not disappoint. Still awesome pizza ! Highly recommend. We got pepperoni, mushroom , and onions . Their sauce is still amazing .
My favorite pizza place in the neighborhood the chicken pizza is the best
The food is great. The pizza is very solid, excellent crust, cheese that achieves that ideal even melt, tangy sauce. The sides are just as good if not better - while in most small pie shops like this one the sides will be kind of an afterthought, here they're fantastic. The service really makes this place stand out, especially if you're a regular. The staff remembers you, smiles, and have frequently added small bonuses, like an extra garlic knot or mozzarella stick, to my orders. I highly recommend this pizzeria both to locals who want a regular spot, and to visitors who want a taste of that legendary old fashioned small business New York pizza shop experience, which is rarer and rarer nowadays.

Thank you so much! I RAN into this place, about to miss my bus at GW station and they were so kind and really provided a fresh out of the oven slice as fast as they could. Maybe I was just starving after sprinting through the city but it was also delicious with true flavor in the sauce and the appropriately chewy but thin and a little crispy dough. Would like to go back when I don’t have to lose half the cheese in my bag while running back to the bus station. Also pretty cheap!
I absolutely love George's been coming here since I was a kid growing up in the neighborhood. Was away for a long time and now that I'm back George's was one of the first places I hit up. I go there weekly to grab a slice.
My go to pizza spot. Pizza is good, def try the margherita or Sicilian pie. Their garlic knots are not worth the price, they need to be bigger.
I'm new-ish to the neighborhood, so I've only been going to George's for about a year, but it's the only pizza place I go to here! My roommates and I got it the day we moved in, and continue to order it. It's delicious, the sauce is tasty, the crust is a thicker than usual NY crust (but you can order thin if you prefer) and it's always delivered hot. The owner and one of the other guys (who delivers) are so nice, always friendly. When you go in and order a slice, they give you a garlic knot with it. They've been rated as part of the top pizza places on a few lists and reviews, and I agree with them.
Small pizzeria shop that has been in Heights over 20yrs. New owners still following George's recipes. Pizza is in top 3 ranked from uptown. They need to improve on customer service.
Hole in the wall, but been there for 50+ years. They make a decent slice though, better than the standard neighbourhood pizza game. Also, they give a sh!t about their pizza and customer satisfaction, which reflects in my conversations with the counter guys who are excited annoy what they're doing. Don't order from Domino's next door, that's just plain stupid, get a better pie at this joint.

George’s has been here forever. Decent slice of pizza. Solid deal, 2 slices and a can of coke or bottle of water for $5.50

This evening, I ordered a Sicilian pizza from George's Pizza on the Slice app. The pizza came right away as it usually does. I took a bite and noticed a sour smell. I took another bite, and the smell was still there. I then cut off the crust and ate that; it tasted just fine. I then tried a piece of cheese, which tasted fine. There's something wrong with the sauce or the bread that makes it inedible. There is a strong sour smell; maybe they left the sauce or dough out too long, and it went bad. This is what George's Pizza sent to me. I used the Slice app to complain about the pizza, and the response that was relayed back to me in the Slice chat from George's Pizza was that there is nothing wrong with the pizza. They said it was prepared normally, and there is no refund. This is simply bad customer service. I've been a loyal customer of George's Pizza for many years, and they even got me through the pandemic! There are a lot of pizza places nearby. They will get my business in the future, not George's Pizza. Tonight's pizza is in the trash can. I deleted the Slice app when it wouldn't let me download the chat conversation. Other food order apps can order pizza and have much better customer service when there's an issue.

I ordered two slices of white pizza from this shop for delivery based on the fairly good reviews. I order white pizza specifically because I have a tomato allergy, and can't eat red sauce. I guess the shop had run out of white slices and didn't want to make a new pie. They had scraped off the toppings from red slices, and slapped on some white to "make" a new white slice and re-baked it. To add insult to injury, my husband tried it and said it tasted like cardboard. It's one of the most egregiously horrible things I've seen done to food in recent memory. It's worth noting that this review is from a few months ago, but I will never, ever be visiting this business again.
I usually pass by this store when I’m walking to the train. I decided to try them out today and I regret it. I was really hungry and ordered 2 pepperoni slices. That cost me $8, which is crazy! The slices were weirdly huge and not that great but since I was hungry, I ate it. I was polite when I ordered but the reception I got from the young man working the register was cold and the older man in the back seemed cold too. I guess it was because I was a new face but given the other experiences I’ve had in the heights, I immediately thought they were acting that way because I’m black. They were much nicer when other Hispanic people came in. When I got home after eating their pizza, I felt sick and had a headache so needless to say, I’ll never eat here again.
This place used to be good, but it's taken a sharp downturn in the last year or 2. From constantly forgetting toppings to actually keeping premade cheese pies a bases and using them for delivery orders (You know that chewy consistency of hours old pizza that's been reheated for 5 mins 🤮🤮🤮 and it arrives half raw, half burnt and super cold with warm pockets......🥲). I've seen just everything coming to my door from them. Do yourself a favor - order from the other places around which have better service and your pizza won't be old.
