Avis sur Holy Schnitzel New York
An amazing kosher spot in the UWS great food definitely worth my 35 minutes trip from RI and Queens. The rice bowls packed with great positions and are very filling. Along with the holy toasty, Jerusalem mix, and New Orleans fried chicken very good options to alternate with. We’ll definitely be back to dine in with spare time. Also a thank you to Ben for his kind service and soda offer. Looking forward to stop by at least one a week.
I recently ordered food from Holy Schnitzel while at work. The food was delicious and delivered in a timely manner. I especially want to acknowledge Jasmine. She was attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful, and it was clear that she cares about the people she serves and interacts with. Her level of customer service went above and beyond what you typically come across, and that kind of effort deserves recognition. Great food and excellent service. I would highly recommend.
BEST SCHNITZEL SANDWICHES EVER. Took my non-Jewish friend here and I think the food converted her. Wonderful environment, music, and service!! Jennifer is AMAZINGGGG absolutely adore her!! 100% recommend
Was visiting for the weekend and a friend brought me to the Amsterdam location - we had been trying to figure out what to eat for dinner since about 10am and I’m so glad we came here! The pastrami bombs were so so so good, and the schnitzel wrap was 10/10. Schnitzel is one of my favorite things ever to eat at kosher restaurants and it did not disappoint. Great service from Ben and Jen - explained the parts of the menu I had questions about and very attentive throughout our dining. Will definitely recommend to my friends in NYC, whether they keep kosher or not!
Great experience! The food was very tasty and fresh. I also want to give a special shout-out to Jasmine at the front desk — she was extremely kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about how everything was. She made the whole experience even better. Thank you!
This spot has become my go to! I don’t really eat meat outside of my home but I do make an exception for the barbecued brisket fries (or sandwich) at this place — they’re that good. The quality of the food is always top-notch, super tasty, and I especially appreciate that it’s kosher. Knowing it’s prepared cleanly and thoughtfully makes me feel confident about eating meat here. The staff has always been friendly and service-oriented — I’ve had consistently great experiences every time I visit. Special shout-out to Ben and guy with the glasses - always polite, kind and helpful
I had a great experience at this takeout spot! The food was fresh, tasty, and exactly what I was looking for. But what really stood out was the service. Ben went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—he was friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. Thanks, Ben, for the excellent customer service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
If there were a Nobel Prize for hospitality, Jennifer at Holy Schnitzel on Amsterdam Avenue would win it hands down. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, Jennifer radiated the kind of warmth and positivity that could brighten even the gloomiest New York day. She didn’t just take my order — she made me feel like a VIP at a five-star kosher palace. Her energy? Immaculate. Her smile? Blinding in the best way. Her menu knowledge? Encyclopedic. I had about a thousand indecisive questions and not once did she waver. She guided me through sauces and schnitzel types like a seasoned tour guide leading someone through the Holy Land itself. She offered recommendations with the enthusiasm of someone who clearly cares about the food and the people she serves. And the best part? She made the whole experience FUN. Like, I left Holy Schnitzel in a better mood than when I arrived, and that was 90% Jennifer and 10% the french fries. If you’re lucky enough to be greeted by Jennifer, just know you’re in for world-class service with a side of genuine joy. Holy Schnitzel is blessed to have her. And frankly? So is New York. Someone give this woman a raise, a crown, and a reality show.
Great Kosher location on the Upper West Side! Food came quickly, great flavors, and diverse menu to choose from. Lots of different and unique flavors to choose from, and soft drinks too. New Holy Gelato & Sorbet option is a treat. Pareve and non-dairy, of course!🍧 Amira and Eli are awesome (future) managers. The chefs Roberto, Juan, and Daniel are great too. They’re the best 👌 They love their customers!!!!
Went here on a lark, ended up ordering some burger sliders, The pastrami bombs and onion rings and french fries. Of all, the food that was pastrami bombs were the best, although the serving size was a little pathetic Atmosphere was nice and service was amenable. A perfectly fine place to order your food.
